Who did the jump to 3D better?
Mario 64 is the better game but is such a radical departure from the previous entries, with it's focus on puzzle solving and non-linearity (both in and out of stages), that it can hardly be called a 3D "Mario". 3D Land can be considered the first classic-style 3D Mario but Sunshine and the Galaxies did trend towards that direction.
Sonic Adventure didn't fare any better in that regard, and 3D Sonic still hasn't created anything in the spirit of the 2D games.
>Mac Walters: Cinematics are very complicated, and have a lot of dependencies. The levels, characters, lighting… everything has to be at a certain point to allow cinematics to polish their work. As a downstream team, it means it's one of the last things to get polished, and something we work on up until the very end. Ultimately, as this was a gameplay trailer, we made the decision to show 'in-game' footage--not pre-rendered. But rest assured, it will look great by the time we ship. And we'll be sure to share more of the characters,...

I mean to be h they might as well get all the damage control out of the way now so at least by the time the game comes out people won't be able to say "look at that fucking damage control" every time Bioware says something about the game.
You know your animation is bad when it is on par with the character animations from Ride to Hell Retribution.
Seriously, compare the two and despite the shit acting, the animations are almost identical and that is just sad.
Bioware have always had shit animations. It doesn't even bother me. Seems like people have forgotten you can make fun of something and like it.
Problem with Bioware games has nothing to do with animations and all to do with their horrible sjw stories, dumbed down quests, combat and purposely ugly characters.
Post what you [H]ave and [W]ant. Remember,
nobody will give you AAA non-discounted game for your shitty indies.
H: shitty indies
W:any non-discounted AAA games
Ugh god please tell me they're going to change this in the actual game, its fucking disgusting minimalist bubble crap you'd find on mboile phones. Why the fuck is this allwoed when RE always had such great Menu's/UI in the past?
Why are videogames actively trying to phase out stylistic menus design for this garbage? You look at P5, Jet Set radio, Okami, games that had amazing menu designs that POP and really interest you, and then you have this kind of shit, that you find in Last of Us, Fallout, and so on.
>achievement for completing the tutorial
>developer thanks you for buying their game in the credits
>you pirated it
Post your hopes, fears, theories, wishes about Zelda Breath of the Wild. Keep it civil.
That it won't be shit.
That it will be shit and ruin Zelda and Nintendo any more than it already is
It will likely get showered in awards and 10/10 awards but anyone with a brain knows it will likely be an 8/10 at best.
That it wasn't open world AAA trend bullshit.
I hope, fear and theorize than the new game it's going to be an open world between 2 timelines which we can travel whenever we want after we reach a certain point in the game, OoT style but open world.
You want any of this up for download?
>Have a interesting story concept
>Somehow fuck it up and make the entire thing boring
>Can't skip cut-scene's
>Some of these lead to specific pokemon you can catch once so re-rolling natures is a pain in the ass
I like this game, but fuck this shit.
>There are actually people on /v/ who think Doomguy stands a chance
Mastercheifs biggest achievement is probably fighting to the prophetic truth and killing him, backed by a huge army and the flood as well as the arbiter. Doomguy fucked hell so hard twice they had to kick him out, with no backup.
What does /v/ think of this game?
I played it after release and was severely disappointed with the retarded factions and story.
Got a new graphics card and started in survival and I have to say, it's actually pretty nice. With antibiotics, instant death on op enemies, no saving and no fast travel it feels like Stalker. And the perks now actually make sense. In F3 I thought anyone who took the lower rads from water perk was retarded. Now, it was one of the first perks I took.
I just wisht they named it generic post apocalyptic survival sim instead.
Yeah it's only good on survival mode. But even there you eventually become too powerful and the game turns into easy mode. Some monsters are kinda bullshit though: radscorpion insta-teleporting on you from 200m away. It's kinda stupid how they gave it that kind of attack, doesn't physically make sense.
Now that the free trial ended, what's your honest opinion on TitanFall ?
It was kinda fun, wasn't that beautiful but not ugly neither.
Titans are kinda fun, need some skills to be effective, for sure.
TTK is too low, it's mostly the first who spot the ennemy who wins.
Almost bought the game, but then I realised I mostly enjoyed the 24/7 Angel City mode, and that not enough for me to spend my money.
A solid FPS multiplayer experience. I didn't play tf1 (although I've seen it and my roommate was obsessed with it) or play single player (I hear that is great) but this one was a decent experience that keeps you wanting to play through the skinner box merit system but by no means is a fantastic new experience.
I just got to the Orphan of Kosm.
How fucked am I?
Definitely the hardest boss in the game but hes one of the most fun. He'll push your shit in if your dodges arent on point. A +10 weapon makes him pretty easy though. I beat him with the whirlygig saw.
Ignoring backwards compatibility, which handheld had the better library?
which one should I buy /v/?
I've come up with a new recipé!
Because road-trips are GOAT.
TO THE WINDOOOOOOOW
ITT: Godly soundtracks in games they had no right to be in.

What's a safe place with non-/v/ related memes to talk about video games?
>FF XV released
>Last Guardian released
>new season of Code Gayass announced
what about HL3 now you fucking fat kike
why arent you playing goty 2016 right now?
crossplay weekend pc vs xbone ends today too.
Is SFV the best-looking fighting game of all time?
Smash Wii U was a pretty impressive technical game. You could have 8 of those fully-modeled Ryus running on the Wii U at the same time doing all sorts of shit and still be running at native 1080p and 60fps. Considering it's hardware is circa 2005, that's pretty good.
It's been 10 years, /v/.
What have you accomplished in those 10 years while waiting for TLG?
Had a couple of fantastic girlfriends and great relationships, jobs, friends, experiences. Finally settled down with the love of my life, now expecting our first child.
none of this is true and your post made me want to kill myself even harder than usual
I thought all Japs were coding and programming geniuss. What the fuck is wrong with this game? What's with all the glitches?
What the fuck you faggot I just tried to post a thread with this picture LITERALLY 10 seconds ago and it said I had a duplicate, then it linked me to your thread and said you posted it only 20 seconds ago
go fuck yourself, you stole my shitpost
ITT good games
The most fun I've had with a game in a long ass time.
I just ordered one /v/....
What did I get myself into?
Should I sell those now or wait a bit?
Special edition "Arctic blue" by the way, didn't see it anywhere online so I have no idea how much it's worth.
Near Mint condition too (tiny scratches on the top) I was a careful autist back in the days.
Game is French tho.
They're only worth $25-$40. You're not gonna get much anon.
I backed my order for my deluxe underscare today! You should too. It's a diaper made for gamers, what could be better!
You also get a copy of outlast with it.
Pic related. Got my drink pouch and nightlight, what more could you want. No longer do you need to play scary games in the light!
