>we want the neogaf audience
At least it can't be worse than mass effect 2, right?
Have blank template and template of these series that I'll post.
R8, H8, etc
Just realized the spacing is still fucked on this one
Why don't normies play vidya?
videogames are still viewed as the type of thing you do when you are young so most people drop that shit after middle school while they put their time towards more productive activities
not everyone wants to spend 10+ hours on vidya daily
So the game for December 3rd is some fucking random stealth game and fucking F2P MMO garbage.
Why the FUCK did I buy this? Every day just gets worse and worse, and yesterday was fucking Goat Simulator. I didn't think they could go lower than that.
You're an idiot for buying 30 mystery boxes. This is simply how they get rid of unsalable keys, you mong. They add maybe two or three decent games to make the package look attractive, and stuff the rest of the boxes with garbage nobody would pay for.
>Game has a moral system
>The game punish you if choose the bad options
>The game dont punish you if you're too good
>game has "rpg elements"
>basically means you can choose dialogue options and change your armor
>literally nothing changes if you just blow through them
>no option to do anything but be a total paragon of morality
>any attempt to deviate from the intended storyline is immediately shot down by other characters
Yeah, I didn't want to kill that dragon anyway I guess.
>being too good they send a group of mercenaries with good/decent armor and weapons to use after you kill them
>being too bad they send a group of cops with shitty armor and weapons not even worth the time to loot
What happened to these games?
Hello, I would like to play a Legend of Zelda game. I have never played one, but I want to familiarize myself with this apparently popular series.
Which game would you recommend me to play?
I borrowed my buddy's Wii, so was thinking of Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword.
Try Ocarina of Time (especially 3DS version if you can). It gives you the idea of Zelda games in general. For 2D games, try A Link to the Past.
For everything else, you're free to play any game. Zelda games are entirely subjective and don't really have general consensus, except Zelda 1 and 2. Since you have a Wii, play Twilight first, than Skyward. Theses two games has overall mixed reception, so don't expect anything when you play them.
LTTP and OoT are the most quintessentially Zeldaesque 2D and 3D game respectively, Majora's Mask is a better version of OoT, ALBW is a better version of LTTP, and LA is a worthwhile gameboy classic. I'd not bother with the rest of the series tbhqwyfamalamadingdongus
As others have already said, LTTP and OoT are the big ones. Other ones you should play are games like MM and Zelda 1. Really though, just play whichever ones you can. Most of them are good, including the GBC ones.
Why is PC not a respected platform for gaming by devs?
It's 2016 and they still have to sign petitions for games
Harder to make sales. Considering how easy it is to pirate on PC, only ways to make sales are making a game good enough for people to respect you and express their satisfaction with money, or tie it to online service. Very few devs are capable of first option and second option's market is oversaturated.
ITT: things in vidya that made you want to kill yourself
Idk how /v/ feels about the snakewood mod, but I really like it.
Are there any other cool mods for the older systems?
>look up "Pokemon snake wood"
You made this, didn't you?
Apollo Justice was ported to iOS. Did anyone play it? It looks god-tier, but are there any technical issues?
Also Ace Attorney thread.
why is he so good at generating hype?
every time he disappoints but he still manages to get so much excitement out of me.
Admit it, your first console was an N64.
>PS4, Xbox One holiday sales blow NES Classic out of the water on eBay
I thought you said it was going to be the other way around, /v/, because of the low price tag and nostalgia. I guess you were wrong again, huh.
Some guy posted this on twitter.
Is it happening?
You have 3.27 seconds to name one game series for which the best order to play its entries for the first time is NOT release order.
Not that anyone on 4chan is familiar with the series outside of the same 4 people who show up in news threads, but Etrian Odyssey is a series that's systematically gotten BETTER with every release, so it's often better to play in reverse.
>5 million copies on the first day
>fastest selling Final Fantasy title in history
How does it feel to be wrong again /v/?
>it was all just a dream
why was he such a bitchnigga?
>2016 almost over
>no Skate 4
>play modern multiplayer game
>"Dat ending Kreygasm"
>"My teammates were so shit FailFish"

>The 8-bit model of Link will reward players with a selection of barrels, each containing randomly assorted goodies like rupees.
>Ocarina of Time Link will make a random assortment of meat rain down from the sky. Toon Link will similarly see fish fall from the heavens.
>The Wind Waker version of Zelda will reward players with random plants, used as ingredients in cooking.

Remember when a robot committing suicide out of grief was an amusement park ride?
>30 bucks on sale
>hooked up with an ethernet cable
>1080p 60 fps with ultra settings
>entire steam library plus non steam games on my couch
>can easily tweak it to run emulators
>scales up with the hardware of my computer
Why do people buy consoles again?
Overwatch is 2016's GOTY
Clearly Overwatch > TF2
TF2 has an almost 10 year history of updates, community, comics, jokes, and even two short movies.
Overwatch's popularity will continue its increase the next one/two years and then fall or become stagnant.Which considering the fate of most AAA nowadays is surprisingly good.
Even in its deathbed, the merc team has won.
After 14 years, are Juniorfags and Koopalingfags cool now?
Fuck off, there's only one prince
What is the best order to play STALKER in?
