Trying to find a new game to sink a lot of time into during this sale. Currently deciding between:
>Elder Scrolls Online
I'm looking for something with decent replayability or customization - anything I can attribute the word "build" to - with RPG elements.
Anything on this list fun? Am I missing any other titles that should be on this list? I need help deciding what to buy.
There's really no hard "builds" in Dragon's Dogma, since all vocations have fixed skills you learn as you level them up. You can select the passive skills you have, including the passives from all vocations you've learned, but that's about it.
Of course there's also passive stat growth min-maxing, but that hardly can be called a build.
TW2 and 3 basically have three distinct talent trees: combat, signs and alchemy. Without going into much detail, those are very much...

Why are sports games even a genre?
If you want to play sports go outside and join a team.
What'd you vote for the "best use of a farm animal" award?
I haven't played it yet but I went with Stardew Valley. Kind of an obvious choice but I figure there won't be anything that outdoes it in that regard.
Yo yo, gangster "Bod Dowad" here or Little B on the streets. I heard of this sick new game called "Skyrim: Remastered", spend yo money on it!
Who is in the wrong here?
>play Mario Party on the Switch, try to keep it as quiet as possible with headphones on
>CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK
>SPIN THE ANALOG STICKS AS FAST AS YOU CAN
The guy playing the Switch obviously.
You are because you photoshopped the image to get rid of the guy's headphones to make some dumbass pointing about him disturbing the other passengers.
Just imagine spending all your time going onto an internet message board trying to convince yourself and others that a game you've never played is shit.
Imagine spending all your day constantly refreshing metacritic until you see an aggregate review score going down 1 point and then posting about it on said message board.
You motherfuckers need a hobby, or a life.
Is he /our guy/?
>reads a few highly editorialized articles and think he's suddently knowledgable on the subject
assblasted skype caller detected.
Can I get into this game if I have never played Final Fantasy before?
I love long games and JRPGs, so it should work, right?
How do memes in video games make you feel?
Xenogears has many fleshed out characters but then you get shit like Hammer and Chu Chu
and Emeralda was barely even story
So /v/ I need you to stop memeing me and 84ing me for a second, I need an answer:
If my favourite games are the KH series, the only main FF i've enjoyed is FF1 and love Kingdom Hearts and Monster Hunter combat system (and also don't give a shit about Dark Souls)
Gay characters and cheesy anime story complains aside,
Should I buy FFXV?
What went wrong?
Same thing that happened to Valve.
They've managed to create an automated money printing system that enables them to not work on something big ever again.
I just pirated this but I can't seem to play it on 4K@Ultra settings with my 1080. MSAA is off.
Tried turning shadows down a notch but it didn't do much, I only get around 36 max fps in the benchmark.
I just don't want to spend hours doing it.
A lot of games have 1 or 2 settings that are really intensive, shadows usually being one of them. I'm just hoping to get a few pointers as to what other people did.
Anyone play this game? What's your favorite faction?
Vetruvian right now. Just netdecked a sim city deck and it's pretty fun.
I can build ok decks on my own but I don't get how people build highly effective decks. What's their thought process?
What's /v/'s opinion on Destiny?
it's okay to fuck around with some friends for a few weeks. then you either get completely hooked or you just give up because it's boring. Almost as addictive as watching your numbers go up in Diablo 3 but with too much limiting bullshit to how much you can earn and do
Are "ultra" settings the biggest meme there is?
Show me one game where there is a noticable difference between high and ultra.
All it seems to do is butcher fps so /v/ autist can justify spending another $700 on a video card.
So first paid sprays with limited use, now fucking gloves.
What the fuck is valve doing to this game?
Are you enjoying your New 3DS /v/?
Bought my brother the alienware steam Machine i7. Listing price is like $750, got it for $400. Good buy or what? Im not really good with PC specs
I can't find the actual graphics card in there anywhere, but judging by it being 2GB, it's shit
I guess for $400 it's okay, you won't be playing any AAA games on it or anything though
That's not even a "STEAM MACHINE" i.e. a micro-atx PC
it's a fucking cheapo outdated laptop ripped from an old alienware laptop from 2014 and put into a box.
Picked up Disgaea3xplay,Armored core Verdict day, dragon's crown and sonic sega collection(for my 4y cousin) while visiting the folks, never played Disgaea before but been waiting to play it since I saw it on PC(D2 atm),armored core just touches my mech loving heart and Dragon's crown seems like a good coop couch beatem up game I can play with a friend over.
Ordered this so I can put NES games in my Famicom
First thing you'll do in this game?
Other than play it, of course.
why are women 52% of gamers but literally none of them speedrun or play games like civilization or earn loads of money in professional dota 2?
>You can call me Knuckles, unlike Sonic I don't chuckle
What the fuck did he mean by this?
Left or Right?
I admit I was scared as fuck when I saw the original left one.
Probably something to do with the terrifying monster eel that I first encountered on first water level. I think it set a precedent to let me know that the world is dangerous full of horrific monsters, so its no surprise that thing scared me.
Anyone remember this one?
I need games that can play and feel like Rainbow Six Siege. I like the idea of tactically breaching into some CQC. I'm also running this on a cheap ass PC so no high stuff please.
>releases in 3 days
>literally no one cares
How did Nintendo fuck up this badly?
It started snowing. Recommend some comfy ass winter games
I love it personally but pretty much everyone I know hates it and prefers summer.
I think it's because I spend most of time inside.
Holy shit this scene was supposed to be heartwarming, but the memes ruined it for me. I feel like shit for actually laughing during this important moment. Fuck you all.
>this is unironically the best game the musou subgenre has to offer
