>paying for videogames when you can pirate them for free
It's literally as simple as that. No further justification is needed.
>30$ season pass
what the fuck
Is there a better 3D platformer?
>how do we make this area harder Miyazaki-san?
>make a gauntlet with assloads of enemies that have 10 attack long combos at minimum and also put some casters that teleport fire under you or use a homing fire that glitches through buildings
>brilliant as expected
>also put next bonfire after 40 enemies like this
Would refund if I could
>game is a piece of shit on release
>bugs and patches improve the game

Is the GTX 1060 6GB a good card to buy right now? I don't wanna get it and 3 months later the new cards come out.
Also, the benchmarks for this is inconsistent. Logicalincrements say it gets 55-60 frames on Witcher 3 at 1080p. But TechDeals has benchmark videos of it running with an i5 6500 getting more than 100 frames on GTA 5.
Is setting Overwatch to low settings to get 144 fps and then using 144hz monitor a good idea?
What games let me acquire a taste for free-form jazz?
Which group did you like better?
I'm I one of the only ones who think L4D3 will take place on the West Coast I mean.
L4D1 takes place up North
L4D2 takes place down South
I'd think it'd only make sense that L4D3 is on the West Coast unless Valve goes WAY outside the box and L4D3 takes place outside the U.S.
Which game is better? I can only pick one and never played this series before.
bloodborne by a mile if you're just looking for a single player experience, the online is pretty sparse.
DS3 is the worst in the series. I've only played like an hour or 2 of bloodborne so I can't say much, but the bosses are fucking easy compared to the other games.
Go for BB because of the memes.
This is an in-game screenshot of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Expansion Pack: Blood & Wine
Show me something from FFXV or a comparable open world game that looks 30% as good as this.
Because in ye olde tymes, which I assume the Witcher is mimicking, dyes/paints were rare and expensive, so the wealthy would be gaudy as fuck. And of course everyone wants to be wealthy, or appear to be so, so they would follow suit.
It's just a huge clusterfuck of "I'm a fucking peacock, look at me"
Or maybe the town just really likes colors. I think it looks pretty good.
So which of these heroes are going to make it into the game?
Red robot's name is Soundquake and he's appeared a couple of other times. They were saying at Blizzcon that they were working on "a kind of alternative Reinhardt", so it's likely him.
They said that the Hazmat guy was the original concept for "The Alchemist" character, which was eventually reworked into Ana's current incarnation.
In the day and age of remasters, which game do you want to see remastered the most?
I'm a huge RTS fan and there are no good RTSs in years.
Could someone recommend a game like Empire Earth 1 to me? I'm a huge fan and after Age of Mythology and AoE 3 it's my favorite RTS game.
Problem is, the game has a lot of flaws and it's unbalanced... Any advice?
I love RTS games but I gotta admit this guy is right. Everyone always complains about the death of the genre, but there were so fucking many RTS games that flooded the market between 1995 and 2007 that it being dead for a decade really doesn't matter. It's not like graphics are important in RTS games anyways. Plus we are still getting regular RTT releases like Men of War too.
I have yet to even play half of the RTS games in existence. I have a shit ton of stuff from the years past that I missed....

How do you explain shit like this?
>dark souls in fun they said
>you just need to git gud they said
>easily beat the enemies they want you to beat at the point you're at (skellies, trees, etc.)
>get rekt in at most two hits by enemies you're not """supposed""" to beat yet
>after ten minutes of walking through an area you've seen ten thousand times and beating the same little goons again you make it to a boss

What are some other games where if I kill another player in pvp I get all their hard earned items?
This has got to be the biggest disappointment of the year. The game is clunky and unstable. Even with my 1070 and 6th gen i7 I cannot achieve a solid 60 fps. Graphical settings do nothing, even on the lowest settings the fps is all over the place. The framerate will even flucuate without any user inputs (i.e. hands away from the keyboard and mouse). One of the highlights of dishonored 1 was the slick gameplay. It seemed as though the devs had forsaken fancy graphics in favor of art style and high performance, and it was a worthy compromise. It ran amazingly well on even modest systems, and the combat was incredibly slick and satisfying. Dishonored 2 feels horrendously clunky. The mouse controls are horrible, even after changing the ini files, aiming still feels unresponsive. As with the original, the visual flair in dishonored 2 comes in the form of art style rather than the graphics themselves. Unfortunately, the game still runs like crap. There may be an awesome game buried within dishonored 2, but the Void engine will ensure we never get to experience it.
As someone who managed to play it thanks to a beast of a rig, I can confirm the game itself is fucking great stuff. Arkane should be embarrased of fucking themselves with the release.
Clockwork Mansion and Crack in the Slab are phenomenal. Dust District was great too.
What's the absolute angriest you've ever been at a video game?
You can only choose 1
why does censorship exist in a world were games literally have ratings to warn you of the content?
Because of ignorant parents who buy kids 18+ games and then get pissy that their kid is exposed to 18+ content in the games that they bought for them. That is something companies don't want to deal with.
Same reason that movies go for teen ratings - by conforming to what is socially acceptable, they're exposing themselves to the largest possible audience, thus increasing their profits.
Now I'm not saying that they're right to, or that that's not fucking stupid, but companies willingly and deliberately pursue this line of thinking when translating games or when "self-censorship" comes into play, and the rate of actual censorship to plain marketing savvy (example of the former would be that team of cucks getting buttmad about loli) is like 1:3.
Did it make the game any better?
I was interested in the concept of No Mans Sky, but after hearing about how it turned out to be a disaster not worth retail price I decided not to buy it. Saw it on sale for 20 bucks and still was against it because I heard how repetitive and broken the gameplay was.
However, I heard the new update is adding substantial content to it. Can anyone tell me if it has made the game considerably better? Like I said it's 20 dollars and I'm thinking about it. Is it worth it now or still a piece of garbage?
it was already a decent game, people are just butthurt because everyone loves a shitshow. 20 bucks is a fine deal. new patch will only improve it.
It's still not a great game but fuck dude it's just 20 bucks how can you be so fucking poor that you would pause over that level of investment
What does /v/ think of James Rolfe?
> Hard mode: without using the word "cuck"
ITT: "villains" that ACTUALLY did nothing wrong
Why do korean/chinese animu games give you such over the top looking weapons and gear?
If you're going to grind days and years or pay out the ass for it, it might as well feel worth it once all is said and done.
A shitty ass generic longsword doesn't really feel special
No it doesn't, it looks stupid. See this? This looks cool.
Is there any other game where just controlling the toon is this much fun?
ITT: Signs that someone is a flaming faggot
>watching more streams of a game than playing it

Now that the dust has settled, which was a better game?
>FF7 is a turn based game
Post your sexiest weapon.
Never has a weapon made me feel so complete.
ill post warframe too. This sword has been my favorite since it was released and still is
