My life for yours
Can you name a male game character better than Solid Snake?
Can we have a vidya booty thread?
Please keep it vidya
What is the difference? The company gets paid exactly one time, and lots of people enjoy their product on this one time payment. The difference is that in the case of used games, people profit massively on the hard work of others, without lifting a finger.
>What is the difference?
Used games are limited by the number of copies or licenses that the company created, so you know that the company got paid at least once.
Piracy means that the company didn't get paid at all for it. You can make as many number of additional copies as you want.
Where did it all go so horribly, horribly wrong?
So I just started playing Witcher 1 and beat the first boss (the mage who controlled the freightener monster thing).
Now I'm doing the quest to get the ingredients for Lambert to heal Triss.
Anyways, the combat feels like I'm dancing than fighting.
It's like "a one and two and three, and click! A four and five and six, click again!" Then the finisher.
I don't mind the combat, but I'm wondering how the 2nd and 3rd witcher games compare to the first one.
2 is very actiony and 15yd roll abuse
3 slightly less so with smaller dodges plus roll
i actually kinda like 1's system if only for its novelty and it feels like you're progressing when you learn the next combo move, very witchery too because as you said, more like dancing
wish they'd expanded on that instead of ditching it completely
Who else is excited for this saw this at e3 last year shit myself will it be good?
>get in beta

Is SEGA entering a new golden age?
Are we back bros? It's been so long. Should we expect the inevitable deluge of former SEGAfags that dropped out during the dreamcast or buyover, and will act like they've been tried and true fans in the bad times? They generally shit up these threads.
I hope you're not pulling the news about more 3D calssics out of your ass. I love old Sega. I hope that one day we'll see the return of good Sega IPs that have been dead for far too long. They should use Fire Emblem's popularity for instance and make a proper new Shining Force game.
>there are those on /v/ that actually hate the greatest TPS games of all time
Explain yourselves right now. Gears of War literally perfected the genre.
Who is the strongest hero in Dota 2 according to the lore?
Hey bros, is The Secret World any good? I'm a deeply depressed NEET that's interested in a meaty game. I would get Witcher 3 but I hated the combat. TSW is on sale for $23 dx edition but I'm really not sure if it's worthwhile. I haven't played any other MMOs but I generally enjoy RPGs.
Anyway, any thoughts on The Secret World? Is it grindy trash like most MMOs from what people say?
Bumping with an entertaining drawing of Totalbiscuit. Sadly I don't think The Secret World is popular enough, considering no one has voiced any input. Can anyone share an opinion on the best MMOs out there and if TSW is any good? I heard the game had meaningful storytelling which I'm definitely a fan of.
How bad will they fuck up VtMB 2?
I dunno. At what point will they blame Paradox for those delays and budget extends?
