Did I get memed? Does this get any better?
The combat is rudimentary as fuck, RPG elements barely present, the writing is laughable, dialogue choices are more illusory than Bioware's (actually, maybe not because you can see all your responses say the same thing), zero world reactivity, the whole thing feels like an Android game. And the not so subtle SJW undertones just complete the picture.
Is there even a reason to continue playing?

Volter is fucking boss as shit. Overr 100 year old Nazi scientist who doesn't afraid of anything. Puts up a better fight too. His theme is also superior.
Patty is a whiny bitch in KF2. Literally keeps screaming shit like "THIS ISN'T FAIR" and "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING" once you get to his last phase

Is chess the most successful video game in history?
Inb4 it's a board game. By that logic all RPG are board games since that's where they originated from.
Have you ever been turned off by a game that railroads as a game mechanic? Or if not, do you ever reflect over just running from arrow to arrow?
Bought the dishonored DLC, turned off all quest arrows and the game became an abhorrent mess. Bought insider help that supposedly scribbled a safe key on a "wall". No specifics on which wall, unless it was ingame where an arrow probably had been.
Why do we allow this?
I really hate it when games are designed around quest arrows. I wouldn't mind it if they were an option for those who want such things, but when they are the only thing giving gameplay directions, it's not like you could turn them off without fucking yourself through it.
Works for arcade-ish games though, games that could essentially be rail-shooters with a story.
witcher 3 with all HUD options turned off completely changes the game. You literally have to listen to NPC's going "TUN LEFT A THE FAHK IN THE ROADE, WITCHER". It's very immersive but also rewarding once you get to the destination.
I agree with OP though, sometimes gps arrows can lessen the experience.
Where were you when Star Citizen was BTFO'd by Ubisoft?
put this in the disc tray for the first time, what am I in for?
Is FFXV the result of Tabata's raging inferiority complex towards Nomura reaching a natural conclusion?
Why was Stella changed to Luna?
Stella was described as "Yuno from FFX meets Tywin Lannister", while Luna was said by Tabata to "Rather than be a damsel(like Stella), better have a strong female heroine capable of defending herself."
>"Rather than be a damsel(like Stella), better have a strong female heroine capable of defending herself."
>stella would act as a recurring boss that you fight
>Luna barely appears in the game, has no freedom and dies.
Jeez surely luna is the more proactive woman here. fuck outta here.
This is a japanese boy in a video game. Notice anything?
What is the best quest in Runescape and why is it Cook's Assistant?
I miss that feeling.
List of games with sounds that shiver up your spine TO THIS DAY
It's really funny that in the first game sounds were so fucking annoying that in second they made them the most pleasurable thing ever. I wish now fucking devs would make things better in sequels, not worse.
when was the point where it turned to shit?
The introduction of devex lead to games being made purely for shekels.
The lack of competition lead to roblox becoming incompetent as they can do fuck all and retarded kids still waste their parents' money on builders club and robux.
As software, roblox was was always shit.
I liked it better when the order of the games on the "games" page was seemingly random, and there was pages of them to flip through instead of endless scrolling down.
It gave the now-underappreciated games a chance
Also adding a limit to how LOW prices for shit can be
Don't forget removing tickets

game was too easy. About 70 hours to do everything there is to do.
Now that the dust has settled, what are /v/'s opinions on Nero?
Character and playstyle wise
Nero is casualization done 200% right.
He's a character that's simple to play as and serves as a pretty good intro to the mechanics, while also having a pretty big bag of tricks for more advanced players to bring the cuhrazy with.
10/10, didn't even care I wasn't playing as Dante/Vergil. Also, JYB did a pretty good job with his voice.
I really hope there is a DMC5 so that we can get a game where he's not screaming for Kyrie.
It's alright. They at least managed to make him different from Dante and Vergil.
It just felt that all of the bosses and enemies were designed with the Devil Buster in mind when dealing with them so when you switched to Dante it felt like you were missing something. Mainly for the bosses and the whole going limp thing that was meant for Nero to grab them for a a little damage sequence, feels kind of unnecessary when the same happens when you're using Dante and all you can do is just kinda mash on them.
We did it Bros! I still can't fucking believe it. All the arguments, bickering and sheer unbridled autism has led us up to this moment. Had to call in a lot of favors from my source in order to acquire this bad boy early. It feels so damn good lads. I'm holding a true masterpiece in my hands that's about to change the landscape of Role-Playing Games forever. Literally shaking right now as I type these heartfelt words. After a decade's worth of tears and fears the wait will definitely be worth it. We're in for a ride boys so buckle up. XV haters and Nomura-cucks...

Can we all agree that Chicken-chan is the best pokegirl that was ever created and that people who pick ""male"" are "by nature" wrong?
Why isn't Lightning in Final Fantasy XV?
>play Lightning Returns
>Windows 10 is retarded and creates a huge memory leak with Desktop Window Manager
People on the internet don't actually play games, for the most part. They regurgitate the "consensus" that they've gleaned from Youtubers and Metacritic and leddit and social media and also this shithole, where people only care about games if they have waifus.
What this means in practical terms is that if you launch your game broken, you are completely fucked. The consensus will form, and it will become a monument-like reference point. In 6 months, you might fix your game, but people will still parrot the "consensus".
VTMB would sink without a trace in today's market.
It's 25 bucks on PSN and it seems like fun, but I wanted to hear some /v/irgin opinions on the game since other sites
are less honest
>fps on a console
Yeah it's a good game, objective oriented, requires thinking. Sometimes it's kinda jank like when your foot clips through a wall and you get blasted but overall I'd say a 8/10 for an FPS, it's a good pickup.
So, where should i start and in which platform?
Play these games in this order. Do not play Dark Souls 2 or 3 first and remember that Dark Souls is not meant to be the first entry in a series, it's a standalone game that then had sequels made.
awesome (official) art for games
What SNES or N64 JRPG should I emulate?
