Can somebody explain the difference between Elite Dangerous and Elite Dangerous Horizons for a consumer?
To say something nice about a game you dislike.
I'm playing through the Gothic series for the first time, and I'm about twelve hours into 1. I'm really enjoying the gameplay, the world, the mechanics, everything - let's talk about them.
>just joined Old Camp
>finally have weapons and armor strong enough to kill something bigger than a Scavenger
>selling weed and boozin' it up
>tfw I killed my first wolf
>then my first lurker

Too late for what, to have fun? I'm having a blast. Good games don't age, I hate when people dismiss older games because they're older and "have aged." It's still the same Gothic it was in 2001 and it's awesome.
My favorite part about Gothic is how you start out struggling to kill scavengers, and then you slowly but steadily grow to epic stature.
I've never had a game start you so low. With Skyrim and Oblivion I don't think I ever really had to run away from a fight.
With Gothic the feeling of killing a wolf in one hit towards the end-game is one of the most satisfying experiences, just because it's easy to recognize how far your character has risen.

Is Dragon Age Origins worth playing? It has been in my library for about 2 years without me even remembering that I have it.
If yes, are there any mods I should get?
do you have an orc wife, /v/?
No but I suppose I could make one.
First 5 decides the gender, race, name and class of my character.
>Released in 1999
>still look good
what is this sorcery?
CURRENT YEAR IS OVER, SOON IT WILL BE CURRENT YEAR+1
WHAT ARE YA:
This is 80% off on Steam right now, /v/. What's the verdict, is it good or shit?
>want to play ps4
>realize that everyone is going to see me online on their friendlist on NYE like a loser instead of going outside and fuckin bitches
>decide not to play ps4
Give me a name for my Shovel Knight amiibo.

Also Undertale thread.
Play it before reading anything on /v/ about it.
>Chicken chaser! He chases chickens!
Bought the lost chapters on Steam thanks to a random Fable thread a week ago. Major nostalgia blast to the fat Xbox.
Anyone else enjoy this?
It had so much potential as a franchise. It was a flawed game but it was fun, comfy as fuck, and relatively engaging.
Then 2 and 3 came out and they somehow had less everything than the first fucking game.
When people say video games are art, what are they describing exactly? What quality makes video games art?
The fact that every game in existence required some form of creative skill and imagination to produce makes them all art.
It's not very difficult to qualify something as art, to be honest.
