ITT: sympathetic villains
Post yfw Sakurai surprises us with her in February.
Bought a membership last January, and have no plans on renewing.
Darn, current gen and PC only. Looks like I have to buy a PS4.
Games you like
Findings so far:
>typing SEARCH and hitting enter on a store page opens up a password prompt
>adding 4f21ca7 to the url of the first webcomic page downloads a soundfile
>typing Hot toddies and maseratis into the Grim Fandango prompt redirects to undertale
>typing bullet hell in the prompt from undertale's page causes a redirect to ikaruga's page

Can you tell me what's your problem with Dark Souls II? I noticed this game get's lot of hate but no one really explains why.
I am currently playing DaS 1 and I really love it and I am looking forward playing DaS 2. I want to know what I am going into.
Story and atmosphere is subpar in comparison to Dark Souls 1. A lot of the bosses are trivial, even if they have cool designs. Soul memory is retarded, and makes it impossible to play with friends.
I mostly enjoyed it, but it didn't capture the "magic" of DS1.
Which one is the best?
So /v/, now that Sakurai has literally admitted that he's like George Lucas (and can't accept fan criticism), can we accept this as true? Do you think he'll step down for the next Smash?
Who will be the JJ Abrams of Smash NX?
>accidentally made a few huge hits that arent anything special when it comes down to it
>makes total garbage that no one but the biggest autists love
>all future releases will just be cash ins and nostalgia bombs
Hey, he is exactly like George Lucas!
So, a game playing as Zero during WWI or one as the Boss during WWII?
The Boss one.
Sad thing really, since Kojima had already planned that thing during MGR's development. Now it's never ever gonna happen.
Need to bring it down to 13$. What should I buy. You can also suggest other games, if you can find anything good.
Why isn't the Kiseki series more popular?
Most of the fans are huge elitists and scare away any possible newcomers. While that can be considered quality control for many here, it's really not doing much when your fanbase is already really shitty. Just take a look at Sen threads lately.
All that, plus the games taking until 2013 to be 3D, I guess.
Half of the games aren't in English. They're on PSP and PC. PSP is dead and PC users don't care for Japanese games as much as console users. Lack of voice acting to attract casuals.
Direct sequels are never a good thing if you want the second game to sell anywhere as good as the first.
3x3 tread anyone?
>achievement: play a full match with four friends
>they actually have to be good at the game
>have to be local coop
