So I'm gonna play Nethack as a human tourist, I'm not very good (farthest I got was to a Medusa encounter as a Valkyrie) so this shouldn't last long but we'll see how far we go.
What's your GOTY /v/?
How does /v/ feel about Catherine?
Dear lord I loved the game. The slightly surrealist atmosphere, the oddball characters, the ordinary man in an extraordinary situation plot. It all boiled down to an enthralling game experience.
Does anyone know more titles like this? Artsy weebshit?
Easily one of the best games of the last gen. Loved it.
It's also the most entertaining game to watch at EVO.
Really liked the story. K is infinitely better than C, anyone who disagrees is blind and retarded.
I spent the entire game apologizing to K and trying to tell C to fuck off, answering all the questions honestly, and I got the ending where Vincent proposes to C, she rejects him, and he gets hit by a bus.
>my fucking face when
I just finished this and now I want to talk about vidya in anime and anime in vidya.
What are some anime based off video games you like? Or vice versa? Do you smile when you see a character is playing a real game you recognize?
I really like this game. I only found out a decade later it had an anime.
A lot of people rag on it for cheesy voice acting and aging pretty poorly, but at the time it had a fun and unique combat style with fun encounters. It also has a pretty unique concept with one central point in time you keep going back to after finishing a segment of the game, basically choosing who's life to save and thus which segment to play next.
Please, /a/ is terrible. This is video games. I made it about video games see?
Did anyone ever get inclement weather? You'd have to play the game day in and day out to get this shit. It does look tight as fuck though.
What do you want to see in iDOLM@STER 3?
Does anyone else think a video game adaptation of this movie would be kickass? I was just thinking about it while playing Fallout, and if it was done right (kinda like Mad Max), it would be pretty fucking awesome. I mean, the possibilities are endless if it was adapted as a sandbox game. I don't even think the movie is that good, I just think it has real potential.
tl;dr awesome movie video game adaptations that will never happen
Which video game do you hate the most?
So has anyone on /v/ actually MADE anything video game related? Or an actual game?
You are all so hateful towards vidya journalists, vidya youtubers, and vidya artists, why don't you start your OWN gaming article, your OWN gaming youtube, or your OWN gaming comic?
Or are you lazy and talentless?
Post what you have made, rate others creations.
Any other games featuring Mormons?
Can we have a DOOM series thread and maybe talk about how the new game may or may not harm the series?
The new game looks terrible.
>multiplayer is ripped straight from halo
>slow af gameplay
>enemies literally glow and "press x to kill"
>disgusting COD color pallet
>shitty level editor that will most likely be broken at launch
Space Engine has been updated!
Patch 0.8 of the 0.974 open beta (you need SE 0.973 and copy paste the downloaded files)
Most important feature is that it now includes "interstellar" types of black holes and accretion disks!
pic related is a neutron star
Is the steam version of Final Fantasy 7 the best version of the game out there?
I've never played it before but I'm kind of tempted to get it for the steam sale mostly due to the HD graphics and convenience of playing on my computer.
mostly, it does have a few oddities and annoyance like music resetting after every battles
but beats a blurry PS1 version
also there's no HD graphics -- it looks like the original just rendered at a higher res (which doesn't really change much for huge blocky models and pre-rendered background)
"Oh my god..."
