You're gonna buy Kat's new game, right?
There is literally nothing wrong with preordering and you know it.
Isn't his stand on preordering the opposite?
ITT: Times you acted like The Joker in vidya
>game says press start
>I press A
And the cutscene where William meets Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Also bad guy is not Kerry
But both have an Irish connection.
Is this the most overrated game of all time?
Its almost as if everyone who talks about it is a clueless, nostalgia ridden child
Literally the only "good" part of the game is the village. Every bossfight in the game is an annoying bullet sponge QTE fest. Every area is bland and ugly after Del Lago. Guns are just "now upgrade to the better shotgun/better pistol/ better sniper" etc with only a very few ones breaking that rule.
It's a great game but it is overrated.
It's not even the best game of the series yet everyone says it's the best game ever.
People conveniently forget the island part of the game which feels rushed as fuck and is just out of place.
SOTC is the most overrated game of all time.
Or Bioshock Infinite. Neither of these games are good yet people think they are art unlike re4 which is overrated but at least it is good.
Why do people play spooky games, /v/?
Why willingly immerse yourself into something that is by definition bound to cause negative emotions?
Because, strange visitor from another world, feeling emotion is desirable to human beings
And through media like videogames and films and books, we can experience the negative forms of emotion without also experiencing the unpleasant events that would cause us to feel them "for real". A jump scare in a videogame is so much better than being mugged in an alley. A sad film is better than a pet or loved one dying
Im either getting this or stardew valley, which one is the better game?
City building games thread niggers
Let's discuss them
I am currently thinking of buying pic related,
piratedit while it was in early access and found it mildly fun but the fact that you needed to be constantly expanding or else your population would crumble (Since villagers only reproduce if there is an available home bugged me).
Now I hear it has plenty of mods and shit, is there one that fixes this? Or some way I could work around it without having to build houses constantly?
Playing Planetbase, it doesn't have as many layers as banished but the setting is pretty damn unique
When did the japs start falling for the open world meme?
>I LOVE MY DADDY!
>it's been 12 years since they published a game that wasn't comeplete garbage
Why hasn't this company died yet.
>"it ain't me" starts playing
>"it ain't me" starts playing on repeat
Is it gonna be any good? The wait has been long.
ITT: Times you were literally a sane person in video games
>Game says to take frequent breaks
>take a break every 30 minutes to flex my joints
Completely sane, even in membrane.
>play seemingly generic game
>still play and listen to the tutorial because I want to understand its mechanics and don't want to blame it for my own shortcomings
I played the first one and I really enjoyed it, is this one good? Its dirt cheap with the ps plus discount is it worth it /v?
2 NUMBAH 45'S
I'LL HAVE YOU CHECK THIS NUMBUH 9
Why are people so buttblasted that World Tour isn't free? It was announced before the game released. Are they all poorfags?
So this... is the power of VR.
It means that Nioh will be ported later on to PC.
>Koei Tecmo PC port
>C O N S O L E E X C L U S I V E
>you can destroy The dark Brotherhood but no Thieves Guild
>twf I just wanna get rid the corruption in Riften
>tfw Thieves guild went from honourable Robin Hood types that helped the poor and fought against corruption in Oblivion to a gang of deplorable thugs in Skyrim
What games actually make the most of a 1080?
tfw we will never get a new Midnight Club because you fucks just wanted another rooty tooty shooty western rid did ridimptin meme
dear video game companies,
please stop mislabeling your games. if your game involves any sort of probability it is not a strategy game. It is a casino game and should be segregated away from real strategy games as such to avoid confusion
in a strategy game, the knight will always take the pawn if maneuvered correctly
in a shitty gambling game, the knight will move to the pawn and die instantly 10% of the time to increase difficulty since it's "too hard" to program better AI
While I will agree nu-XCOM's RNG was bullshit as it was a pure diceroll.
Some RNG in games are great to add dynamics to any choice.
But this is nu-XCOM, old X-com you could miss, you could also shoot down walls, bring missiles and tanks, and generally fuck everything up.
The real great debate.
i want to buy a PS
recommend me some must-play games
i was thinking Vanquish, the R&C games, Nier
and Drakengard 3
>accidentally kill a guy on your team
>uninstall the game
>load up new game
>go on an absolute killing spree, holy shit I am tearing everyone's assholes apart
>Me: I'm supposed to shoot red right?
>BigJoe2872: No retard we're team red
>want to play a mindless movie game
>pick uncharted 4 because /v/ tells me it practicly plays itself
>play on hardest difficulty because I still want to have some "game".
>it takes me 17 hours and 254 deaths to complete the game.
Wait, I thought this was le epic cinematic moviegame? Why was it so challenging? Do I need to git gud, is it the fact that I almost play with a controller? Or was /v/ wrong and is uncharted actually not an interactive movie?
Do you like scanlines?
Alright /v I want to get into Persona, which one should I play first? By order of release? Play Persona 2 first? Tell me how I should proceed to get the best experience possible. Are you hype for Persona 5 btw?
Should I get this? Not bothered by the online restrictions, just looking for a comfy 3ds experience.
Or should I get 3d land?
