Can someone with the Japanese version confirm if this has been changed in all language versions of the new Pokemon games, or if it's just NA region getting the NoA stick again?
Right is apparently from an old Japanese trailer.
For reference, this is what the NA version looks like, if you can't make it out on the left side.

Big Boss was a real damn good soldier. Due to his infertility his DNA was used to create three clones: Solid received the recessive genes, liquid the dominant genes and Solidus the presidential genes

when did the FPS genre die?
November 15, 2001 was the start. It died on November 5, 2007 when CoD4 came out.
Either Halo or Counter Strike
Halo made a shitload of compromises to FPS design in order to make it work on a console, plus it lead to the rise of P2P matchmaking cancer. On the other hand, Counter Strike shoehorned 2-weapon limits and tried to force tactical shooters to play like arena shooters, resulting in a bastard child that would lead to Call of Duty 4.
So in the final summation, Counter Strike killed FPS. Halo helped push it over, but CS was the first infection.
Can you remember you favorite childhood video game character?
>one of the best fps in years
>no one plays it
>The final boss compliments your skills during the fight,
>the final boss is you from a alternate time line
is anyone else free weekend for overwatch?
i dont know about you guys but im having alot of fun.
that being said, theres no way this game is worth more than $20 on sale. $35 for the "origins" edition simply isnt worth it for this game imo.
anyone else have an opinion on the matter? is the competitive aspect of this game worth buying it for?
Overbotch is fun as balls. The comp is rough because unlike CS:GO or R6:Siege being really really good at headshots alone won't help you climb.
Its an easy game to play and a hard game to play really well. Also a variety of playstyles are doable. Id recommend it, but it costs more than it needs to and progression is non-existent.
It plays a little like TF2 on crack. Or maybe meth.
I plan on completely ignoring the competitive aspect, sticking to Arcade and Vs. AI, and I think it's worth the $35. I just think it's really fun. I'd like to make some friends playing it, and just have fun. It's a simple kind of fun I've been searching for.
This is why I'm avoiding the competitive part completely btw, esports dickheads who play for e-peen.
ITT: Vaguely describe a vidya character and have others guess who you're talking about
>uses running shoes
>has a lot of wacky friends
>the fastest guy around
no blue arms
Never buy games from Walmart.
Are there open world games that encourage nonstandard thinking and sequence breaking in the missions?
Ones that aren't a complete eyesore. I like doing light gaming on my laptop between classes.
I already have Halo and Doom
Never let the memory die. You can't name a more autistic fanbase.
Well, maybe Sonic gives Undertale a run for its money.
What was his fucking problem?
What the fuck is this?
>releasing DLC for an early access game
>he actually literally buys early access games
>developer tries to hide behind being "Early Access" as an excuse for bugs and bad optimization while trying to peddle Season Pass bullshit
If enough people bitched Gaben would've moved his ass to deal with that kind of exploitative shit. Hey, Valve lets you filter out Early Access games now at least.
Is this game worth its price in jewbills ($10)?
Co-op gameplay good or bad?
>been lookan for co-op game for me and bros
>payday 2 rip in peace
>come across this
>get confused as fuck the more I look into it
I've heard some mixed things about this game, so if /v/ could give me an idea of wtf this game is really about, that'd be cool.
Do you like this game?
It's gonna flop isn't it.
>Constantly talking/joking to remove himself from the fear
What a joke. But yeah, the resolution was never going to be good. I also thought that VR was a seperate instalment? Like not the full game?
post cyberbullying, under8 getting memed, collabs etc etc

Mind Blowing Videogame Facts
Final Fantasy III has tons of cut dialogue.
One line of dialogue points to the ninja class being received as early as Castle Hein/Hynn.
I know I'm super behind the times, but I am trying out Minecraft for the first time. And I find the core concepts of the game rather fascinating, but I don't really understand how people find it so engaging. In the Survival Mode, I notice that I get bored very quickly, because it starts to feel kind of pointless after only a short time. The hunger mechanic is more tedious than fun, and stuff you build doesn't really do anything. Is there something I'm missing?
And the main concept of mining is pretty boring, too. I just don't really get this game.
It went down hill when it started to focus more on building than mining and surviving. What we're left with is a creative sandbox with a few intrusive survival elements and an unfitting quest to reach the end. Right now it's only really popular among kids.
>Is there something I'm missing?
Is there anything more faggy than winning by a "time out" in a competitive game? I really don't think there is.
>look at how good I am at running away
>I should be rewarded for being a HUMONGOUS BITCH
inb4 tourneyfags come in and start defending this
10 DAYS. 10 FUCKIN DAYS. YOU CAN MAKE IT /V/
preordered it for 17 euros so if it sucks i don't really care
LEFT: a female writer for a video game.
RIGHT: a female writer for a video game and also creative director.
Two points: why did Bioware hire the bitch on the left when an actually talented female exists on the right
and do you guys think Amy Henning is going to make the greatest star wars game ever? I do. She did a talk with Ken Levine and Levine sounded fucking retarded compared to her. She is God-tier at design and writing.
why would the lady on the right want to be demoted from creative director of a game to writer? my understanding is that writing for big budget games is a collaborative process, so you can be hired for the job and end up contributing nothing if your ideas are shit. so basically the title of "writer" doesn't mean anything on its own besides the fact that participated in the discussion. going from "creative director" in one game to "i got to sit at the round table next to the white board" for another game is definitely a demotion.
