What are some good Christmas gift ideas for an avid PC gamer?
My brother was hinting that he might want some more RAM, but I was leaning towards suprising him with a pair of Gunnars (they're around ~$200 with prescription lenses). Anybody own a pair? Are they worth it, or should I get him something else?
I'm serious, I read an article in WIRED about them and they're apparently supposed to be good for reducing eyestrain.
YOUR HANDS UPON
do you like sneks, /v/?
also, do you like plague of gripes?
Memes aside, is this game worth buying full price, or should I just wait for the price to drop if I want to get it?
I haven't played the first game, but I've seen gameplay of this game, and from what I've seen, it looks pretty good.
It's a 30 dollar kind of game.
If my memory serves me right Ubisoft's games typically fall in price relatively quickly after release. You could just wait another 2 months or something and then I'm sure it'll be in the 30 - 40 dollar price range.
If you're on PC you can just buy a key and pay around that price too.
>look up hentai for a game you haven't beaten yet
>get spoiled by one of the images
Finish your games!
>look up art of character you like
>google autocompletes Character Death
Just watched the first 33 minutes from IGN, how have they managed to destroy this franchise so much? Did the writers even play the first game? "Frank" doesn't even act like Frank West. And since when was Willamette an inside job by the government? Wasn't that all Carlito? The military was just trying to cover it up.
Is Elder Scrolls online any good?

Will it be the dawn of vidya kino?
God I hate this meme
Why don't people just buy a regular NES for a fraction of the price?
Because "a fraction of the price" means used, and used means worn, probably dirty, and with a strong chance of breaking down.
Because all the games included are the only ones I'd want anyway, and I'd rather not have bulky, outdated cartridges taking up space.
Because it plugs into modern TVs easier.
Because I want to deliberately spite the Raspberry PU shills.
You have until you finish reading this sentence to post a game which can simulate larger scale battles than Star Ruler 2- TIME'S UP
Where have you been?
ples, were desperate, need some suggestions for co-op games.
I Used My Youtube Channel, to get a pre Alpha Copy to this game, i want to share it, if anyone wants i will put it. (Btw how do i Share it, its a exe.
I just finished this masterpiece and I'd like to know what other games I should play that are similar to PS:T. I'm looking for a good rpg and I'm trying to decide what gem to play next. I'm stuck between choosing Kotor 2 (already finished kotor), Neverwinter Nights 2, Pillars of Eternity and Divinity: Original Sin. Which one of those rpg's should I play or should I play something else entirely.
I think the most similar I've ever played is NWN2. Be sure to skip the main game, which is thoroughly mediocre, and skip to Mask of the Betrayer, which is one of the top 5 CRPGs of all time and criminally underappreciated.
I'm maybe a quarter of the way through Tyranny, and it gives me similar vibes.
KOTOR 2, as listed, is also pretty similar, and all of these games are basically "Obsidian being weird" territory.
D:OS and PoE are great games, but really only similar in that they share a genre.
Lastly, consider Fallout: New Vegas,...

>grow up having an older onii-chan
>he always gave me the Player 2 controller
God fuck life was so unfair back then
>you have to pay money to get the hardest difficulty
>you can get the hardest difficulty after beating the game twice
>you have to pay for hard mode dlc for every character separately
Things I can think of, from the top of my head:
1) The neighbourhoods are extremely small.
2) There are no "food trucks" and the "food competition" isn't what people might expect; the food competition in the trailer was misleading.
3) Elevators don't have functionality.
4) Festivals are pretty much one time experiences since they're extremely repetitive and are too frequent, there's nothing else to do on your second visit that you haven't already done during your first visit.
5) Can't create...

I pretty much gave up on 4 after how fucking awful the last expansion before this was.
When you compare the amount of content between the base and first 3 expansions for TS3 and TS4, its fucking massively depressing.
It does suck that Sims look like shit and the game is poorly optimized to hell, but I recently reinstalled 3 and I'm having so much more fun still.
Is this the best written video game of all time?
