ITT: games that are too scary to play at night
SA-X as a kid was the scariest fucking thing I faced in a video game.
>The moment you're forced to be chased by SA-X after defeating Yakuza
Is there any good ps1 racing game to emulate? I don't want to replay CTR for the 8th time.
Can we have a thread about this?
I just got into the beta and I'm having way the fuck more fun with this than I ever had with Hearthstone or Hearthstone, Senpai Edition
I WANT A FUCKING MAGIC GAME THAT ISN'T JEWRY. IS THAT SO FUCKING HARD TO DO?
You ask too much.
Magic has ALWAYS been about emptying your wallet first and being a well-balanced game second. They're the reason booster packs exist. They fucking PERFECTED the concept of buying cards you don't want on the off chance you'll get the one you do.
ps2 or pc?
>main boss can stop time
>game is called "THE WORLD ends with you"
Was TWEWY just a big JoJo reference?
Isn't the game called something completely irrelevant to the English version's name in Japan?
Who is the best Hotline Miami and why is it Beard?
Not to mention he doesn't pick up any other guns.
Doesn't matter though. Flamethrower is the best weapon in the game. Enjoy your S ranks.
What did they mean by this?
Blood Dragon for free in 2 days fuckers
i already own it and dont really get the hype
its too short, too easy and despite this too repetitive. you just run into like maybe 8 tops barely defended even on the highest difficulty outposts with very few actual story missions
compared to farcry 3 the no fall damage and perma super sprint are godlike but not fucking up as much as another game doesnt make it good
>Game has limited lives
>"0 lives" counts as one of them
What is your favorite city in video games(can be a real city or fictional)? And what citiy would you like to see in a video game? I liked Hong Kong in Deus Ex
What are some games (either single player or online) that let me fly a troop transport in and out of some real shit?
I fucking love the notion of having a bunch of marines file into my bird and then hear all that pre mission chatter as I take off. Fly through atmosphere or dodge chunk of other ships. Taking fire and getting the cargo on or off and flying like a bat out of hell.
Does any game give justice to the pilot that take those suicidal flights where you are getting vital people to vital locations?
What about planet side 2?
I dabble with it a few years ago but galaxies were just never used except during a galaxy spam attack. Any reason to ever fly one? Get any exp for doing so?
Wonderful 101 thread.
Who's your favorite wonder?
Who's your favorite jerk?
>Main Character Wonder
>Side Character Wonder
Rabbit / Cheerleader /
Does Chewgi count?
Why would someone build a ladder this long?
I absolutely LOVE the tank combat in Arkham Knight.
>Rewards high accuracy
>Mobility is crucial
>Feels like and old-school shooter because you can actually dodge enemy shots
>Have to be aware of every direction
>Never have cover to exploit
>Possible to fight dozens of enemies and take no damage if you're good
It genuinely feels like a really good third person shooter....
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
People mostly don't think about driving a tank when they talk about Batman. They main things are beating up thugs, doing sneaky stealth stuff, and driving fast in the Batmobile.
I agree with them, but I find the tank really fun,
TIL Matthew Perry was a huge fan of Fallout 3 and presented Ellen Degeneres with a signed copy of the game on her show. This led to him being asked to voice Benny.
What is the best version of this game?
>OUT DECEMBER 9TH
>BETA TEST FOR ALL PREORDERS NOVEMBER 20TH
>YOU CAN SIGN UP FOR A BETA TEST EVEN BEFORE THAT ONE
>BUT THE SIGN UP IS BROKEN
Who else hype, what are your hopes? Do we know if it's loot based, or if you always have the same weapons for all the missions?
I'm not sure about the FPS, but other games have had trailers with bad framerate then turned out good.
But the beta is for bug testing, and if you preorder you get to try the game before it's out and can refund it.
>game has a casino
Hi, /v/. First time poster here.
As an oldfag (35) the last Castlevania vidya game I played was pic related. It was my facvorite CV game, and one of my favorite games period.
I have a PS3 and would like to play a new CV game after all these years. What, if any, CV game should I bother playing. Is Lords of Shadow, or any of the sequels worth playing? If so, where should I pick up?
Oh, and I also have a Nintendo DS if that matters at all.
This. Order of Ecclesia is my favorite Castlevania game and it's for DS. Highly recommend it if you like SOTN.
Also Portrait of Ruin is on DS and it's pretty good.
I haven't played any of the 3D Castlevanias and I don't really want to. I don't see how they can give the Castlevania experience.
Remember when STEAM had cool ARGs and actual good sales /v/?
What happened? Pure greed?
Refunds and those people who bitched about missing the sales is why there's no more flash and daily sales during the big ones.
>tfw no more checking the store to see what the new flash sales are during the winter sale
>TFW gold potato and got the entire Valve catalogue, including Portal 2 at launch
expansion packs are just glorified dlc
>One of the first 3D platformers, coming before Super Mario 64
>It's platforming in first person, coming before Quake
>It's a PlayStation exclusive series that could mean Sony has some unique IP's that could matter
>Dead since the end of the 5th gen
>Meanwhile, TLOU and Heavy Rain are what defines PlayStation
What the hell, Sony
No, but it was probably taken over by those kind of people the fastest out of any medium.
The amount of people who don't know jack shit about videogames but feel the need to spread their own headcanon on it is staggering. Even on a single board from vietnamese fingerpainting website we have people like this.
How many people on /v/ alone will shit on call of duty for being a linear cinematic shooter, then put HL2 as one of the objectively best games of all time?
Are there any video games that let's me adventure like Snufkin?
>browsed /v/ and played league with fellow /v/irgins every day of the week
>makes $2 million a year
really makes you think. If you quit /v/ today, how much more fulfilling would your life be?
Suggest some comfy game to play tonight.
What went right?
Daily reminder that Godot literally did nothing wrong.
Will you be getting the NES rehash?
Just got them in a couple days ago
> STEALTH CHARACTER WILL KILL OVERWATCH
> Somba releases
> OMFG THIS IS AMAZING THIS IS THE STEALTH THATS OK IN THE GAME
> acts almost exactly like spy in tf2
>purple stealth bitch with one handed rapid fire weapon whose ult is a big bomb in paladins
>blizzard released purple stealth bitch with one handed rapid fire weapon whose ult is a big bomb in overwatch
What did they mean by this?
