Since Nintendo is getting a lot of love recently, do you agree with this time line?
>Geno (whose real name is !?) is a warrior from Star Road and one of Mario's partners in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. He is sent by "a higher authority" to restore peace to Mario's world.
All of the games are released chronologically apart from the Yoshi's Island games and Mario Land two because Land 2 is a direct sequel to land but World came out between them.
>both Mario galaxies on different timelines
You didn't notice that Luma and Mario didn't know each other at the start of 2?
>2D sidescrollers can't have lore
>making a timeline
>FOR FUCKING MARIO
This is beyond retarded, people who do this are worse than bronies, kill yourselves you fucking idiots.
>making a timeline
But in theory, Nintendo made it with the release of every game.
Pretty much any series with continuity have an inherent timeline.
Don't make an ass of yourself.
Mario Bros and Donkey Kong both take place in Brooklyn and before Mario and Luigi move back to the Mushroom Kingdom. Also, where are Wrecking Crew, Donkey Kong 3, Donkey Kong Jr and Donkey Kong 98?
>make timeline for Mario games
>Super Princess Peach not canon
>Dr. Mario is
>Super Mario Bros., NSMB, NSMBW, then Mario Bros. then Donkey Kong
I didn't realize people could be this wrong.
Has to come after basically every game that took place before it, seeing as the block laboratory in Woohoo Hooniversity contains blocks from every prior game.
Of course, one could claim those blocks are about as canon as the games list in the FLUDD intro in Sunshine (which states that the only canonical games are the SMB series and the Kart games, when the cart games obviously are set in the alternate ridiculous universe after SMG) and disregard them...
Anyone else think Nintendo kind of fucked themselves over with use of the word "world" in titles in the past?
>Super Mario World: Set on some random group of small islands
>Super Mario 3D World: Set in some pocket dimension
What the hell are they going to call the open-world 3d Mario that actually lets you explore the Mushroom World (as it's called in SMB3?)
