>that game you're dying to play that'll never be translated
What's her name /v/?
If the new Fatal Frame actually has an NA release I'll be surprised
I guess us filthy gaijins will never find out why Persona 3 has shadows instead of demons.
Every Super Robot Wars game that isn't 2, 3, J, Alpha Gaiden, and OG1/2
maaan i really want this
demonbane gets a sequel and i'lll never read/play it in english
I finally got around to setting up Kanjitomo and Applocale to play this. I'm so slow that I'm still at the part where the MC is describing in great length how he is looking for a job though.
>We'll never get the Taiko No Tatsujin series in the West.
What's that? I actually started it too, but since it's all in Japanese it's just not the same fapping the h-scenes. I'm also just choosing the top dialogue choice every time. I wish there was a guide for the decisions at least.
dude that got a full english translation
they pulled a full square enix on it and removed almost every trace of it from the internet but download links sill exist
i stillown my translation patcher
NO NO NOOO
GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME GUILLOTINE LOVERS
Kanjitomo is basically Rikaisama for your OS. You hover over Japanese words and it tries to translate them. It gets results of varying accuracy though and is basically worthless if the text isn't on a flat surface, that's why I have to set the text box opacity all the way to 100%.
The true sequel to Digimon World 1. At least we have the fan translation of the inferior PSP version coming out in a bit, so yeah.
I'm more interested in the scene where the maid gets strung up to the chandelier and electrocuted though, or the one where the mistress's daughter gives you a bladder enema with your own cum.
I am dying to play the game i CAN play in japanese. I just don't have fucking console and the game itself.
It's not even out yet.
You dont like Yakuza. You like Sonic. Here is another Sonic game you wanted.
its been years anon
its a shame i've heard the story has more twists than the original bigger ones too
Do you have a source for that? There are plenty of other smt games like devil summoner that haven't been released in english, its kinda weird that instead someone would bother translating a new version of a game that has already been translated before.
itsin this thread
it started off as
>people complaining no translation
>hackers and translators saying it woulbe be easy
the thread proggressed and now they are actually translating the game
I'll never have my fill of Ape Escape
>tfw the new Rance games won't be translated for years
I learned Japanese so that wouldn't happen.
Never mind the normal games, the lolige is worth it alone.
Like an h-anime or echi shit that focuses on the combat? How many episodes? On what game are they based on?
Bamco's doing better now, maybe it'll get a re-release..and..-Who am I kidding, a 2D Tales translated? Fan translation is the only hope.
Does it run smoothly on an emulator?
Zangeki no Reginleiv is still untranslated.
I am just glad 1.02 translated enough of the menues to make it playable.
moon adventure remix
I'd spend my savings for one real translator to get the project done
whenver this comes up, someone says "oh there's some guy already working on it! he is just testing it and shouldn't take long"
I been waiting for 6 years on that promise from multiple translators, I should have just learned moonrunes by now.
Does being shut down count as never going to be translated?
Learn moon runes. It will only benefit you to learn, really.
Namasensei, the drunk angry bastard that will teach you hiragana and basic grammar.
To practice your kana.
Wikipedia will show you proper stroke order for kana, just click the one you need to look at on the box on the right.
And /a/ has Daily Japanese Threads that have a lot of resources too.
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/vidyageemu Group of faggots like you trying to learn moon runes and somewhat helping one another, will link you resources and help you.
Rosetta Stone is shit and no one actually uses it for Japanese and gets anywhere.
so the translators posted an update after 2 years apparently they're back on the job and working on the miyako route
every route after it is on hiatus though
its some fed up fan on the majikoi miyako fourms
TakaJun no longer translates the project. It's currently a new person. We've received no updates recently of when it will be released or if he's still working, but his friends say we'll have miyako soon
>Gonna be released in english. Theres already a company taking care of it however the release date hasn´t been announced yet.
Who cares when I can already play it?
>Vndb says there´s no scat.
That guy was a decent translator. It sucks he couldn't be up front about not wanting to translate anymore. The guy who did MGQ was at least honest about what he intended on doing after he was finished with those games.
>There are no games worth playing that has not been translated.
>Prove me wrong.
this entire series
If there is so many people waiting for those routes to be finished, why hasn't there been a single person to step up and finish the translation?
You guys do know Japanese right?
>Tengai Makyou series
>Tokimeki Memorial series
>The remaining Ganbare Goemon games
>The remaining Fire Emblem games
>Fire Pro Wrestling series
>Sakura Taisen series
>Older Falcom RPGs like the various Dragon Slayer entries
>Tons of misc games on retro platforms like Saturn, MSX, and PC Engine
>Not worth translating
so i just went to the miyako fourms
>MFW PATCH IS IN A FEW WEEKS TO A MONTH AWAY
I know enough Japanese to navigate my way thought the menu of a SRW game and that is it plus being familiar with the layouts of what each option does helps
b-but you miss out on the character interaction.
>yfw Ryouma is sad as fuck about Kamina in Z2
I honestly believe when it does get released, somebody will eventually get the translated files and just patch them right into the game files and these shitty "support the company that don't support you" translators will get what's coming to them.
Good enough to finish one at least. I'm doing the same thing but i've gotten over not fully understanding the plot. It's basically just a mash up of the different series plots anyway.
>b-but you miss out on the character interaction.
I know but Chen Gong does translate some videos on Youtube, like the CCA stage in Z3.1:
I have finished a few SRWs in Japanese only:
OGs,OG Gaiden (plus that card game in OGG), 2ndOG (Platinum) , W, K, L, J, R,EXCEED, all 3 Masoukinshin games (2 trophies away from plat), and most of Alpha before the ISA got a fatal error and then HD died
It's not the same. I want to experience it for myself first-hand.
If I were rich enough I would gobble up all the US licenses for the shows and strike a deal with Bamco to release SRW@ HD Trilogy in English and then work from there to release the newer ones.
>Not learning ??? to play all the vidya and more
What's your excuse?
Sucks I got a full time job to contend with. I still try and keep up with my reps every day. Just can't motivate my self to start reading shit, though. Always too damn fatigued.
Most of the text that actually says shit is in english.
A lot of that japanese text you see on objects in the game is simply the name of the object repeated over and over again.
And the script is already translated. Oh, the irony.
Reps really won't help you that much. It's been 1 month since I statred reading my first VN and a look at my statistics tell me that I have 2.5k new cards to review, which would take me like 5 months at the speed I'm currently going. A few words vocab more or less don't do shit, start reading, passively absorb common words get used to the grammar. Words are also commonly used in contexts the English definitions don't provide and you have to kind of "feel" the meaning.
Yes, it does take quite a while to get a decent Vocabulary. I've got about 1500 words so far. At least when I finally bite the bullet and start reading, it won't be as overwhelming.
