Get in here trophyfags
What are you playing?
What was the last game you completed?
Star ocean 4. Only like 50 hours in, not giving up yet.
Infamous 1. Now that I've finally cleared that from my backlog, I think things are going to go smoother.
I'm close to finishing Dark Souls plat. All I need are the unique weapons and need to upgrade some weapons to max. I will probably need to go another NG+.
I also started on Persona 3 FES last night and it's pretty cool so far. Never touched a Persona game before.
I'll play with you if you buy it for me.
>Fighting game trophies
I play fighting games a ton but I find the trophies so boring to go for. The only games i ever really feel inspired to get the plat for are rpgs
ive got 2 platinums so far in sonic generations and Dishonored. currently ive got one more trophy left (fucking social lubricant) in watchdogs (ps3 edtion) before I get a platinum in that aswell
I was thinking about attempting that one even though it might take 500 hours or something. Then I read that the game froze a lot at the optional end-game dungeon ALL THE TIME and you need to finish the dungeon at least twice or something for some trophies. I think you can't save in the dungeon too, so it has to be done all in one go and it wasn't even easy.
Noped out of that pretty quick. Would've been fine grinding all the stupid character battle titles too.
Yeah, you have to beat the boss at the end at least 5 times for the item she drops. I'm going to worry about that once I get most of the other BTs though. Well, provided I don't give up.
>look up estimated time for plat
Holy fuck I thought you guys were just exaggerating. Why would anyone go for that?
Just remembered it takes like 2 hours or something to even finish the dungeon once? And if it happens to freeze once then you lose all progress and have to start over?
I don't usually rage in video games but that might be one of times I do because it's not even in my control if the game decides that I just wasted the last 1.5 hours for literally nothing.
Sometimes it's the fact that it's difficult/time-consuming is what makes people go for it. I would've attempted it if the game didn't freeze like I said earlier.
Last plat I got was Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. Most time consuming part was playing 100 matches online.
Going for War for Cybertron now. Single player is clear, and thankfully the permanent 5X multiplier for XP will make up for the low player numbers. I hope.
>he bought the drakengard dlc
I really wanted to as well but I couldn't bring myself to at that price.
120-140, but it wasn't strict trophy grinding or anything. Might take 40-60 hours all in all if you use a guide and have extremely good luck with the Mahjong and Pachinko trophies.
completion: almost 40%
10/10 just for that
>completion rate 43.64%
>mfw I start to think "wow, what a fag" only to realize your PSN ID is FortyPercent
>tfw you're the first person to get a trophy/plat for a game, as shown on psnprofiles
guess it was worth staying up until 5am for the game to show up on the psn store
I have more than all of you faggots.
Add me if you into Vita
>0 completed games
Where do you think you are?
Well, Yakuza 3 is a lot worse than Yakuza 4. Yakuza's minigame trophies are generally pretty easy (aside from the Mahjong and Pachinko ones which are entirely luck based), but in Yakuza 3 you actually have to complete the minigame checklists. Or so I've heard, anyway.
>0 completed games
FOR WHAT PURPOSE!?
Do you hate vidya?
I have lost my ability to concentrate or immerse myself.
It's a hard life.
The new One Piece game is bringing me back around though. I fucking can't put it down.
I haven't been actively been going after trophies for a while. That said, I mostly have a bunch of casual shit.
>Shadows of the Damned
>Dark Soul 2
I made the name 6-8 years ago. No reason to change it now.
Fuck, I'm not looking forward to playing shitty mini games for hours. I'd rather go through intense shit like Vanquish's last challenge room or MGR's S rank the whole game on the hardest difficulty without getting hit trophy than playing goddamn mini-games. I FUCKING HATE MINI-GAMES
At least two I keep in mind to go back one day. Nier and BattleFantasia.
>mfw looking at the random items I need for the Nier one
Platinum'd Rayman Origins a few weeks back
mainly juggling between Tekken 6, Bad Company 2, and the Force unleashed (if I can ever be bothered to grind for killing canon fodder enemies with the same move a few hundred times)
Also Double Dragon Neon
Just platted Peace Walker yesterday.
Gonna try and do the same with rest of the games starting with MGS3.
are any other MGS's harder / more time-consuming to plat than peace walker? (MGR included)
Yeah, it's not that hard, just long, since you gotta beat the all missions like four times on different difficulties. The hard one is Jackpot, which you have to SSS rank everything on nephilim, which is hard mode. It's a fun game, despite all the hate.
>was going through the entire campaign on elite difficulty
>only had 2 races left
>decide to turn in for the night
>2 hours later house burns down and took the PS3 with the save file with it
Still had a few other trophies left to get for it but losing that just completely drained my will to ever try again
i dont give a shit aboot plating anymore unless i really want to.
coming back to D3 and want to plat it since i got burnt out after a couple months back when i got it. working on hardcore lvl 30, last one will be 5mil gold picked up
>tfw the only game I have a platinum in is Deadly Premonition: Directors Cut
Oh well it was easy enough if you can suffer through the abysmal framerate. It's just time consuming. Took like 36 hours, but its one of my top 5 games so I enjoyed the whole thing.
Most other games I get really bored and don't even finish the story, and if I do I never want to touch it again
Fun fact, Gamestops still occasionally try to part people from their money by selling copies of MAG, that PS3 game that was nothing but online.
RIP in piece MAG you were great back in the day
Exactly, I just need the multiplayer trophies to plat BioShock 2, but even though I went beast mode as a low level and crushed all these max level BEEEEESSSSS launching faggots it was just taking forever to reach max level. I got bored, stopped playing, and when I came back to it later on it was fucking dead.
One thing thats amazed me is somethings like Bad Company 1 and 2, and the first Carl on Duty Black Cops still have sizable online communities
Also Killzone 2 which is older than all 3 of them has a more lively community than Killzone 3 and apparently the PS4 Killzone
i need a rate on profile
started trophy hunting late last year like on november i believe....were should i start next?
ive abandonded alot of my games and idk were to go back to ;_;
Yeah Killzone 2 surprised me as well, all maps were always packed yet some KZ3 maps would always be ghost towns. It,s not surprising though, seeing that KZ2 was just so much better.
I can understand, all the 99 cent weekend flashsales every 2 or 3 weeks has given me a flood of stuff I'd probably have never touched otherwise
>Sam and Max episodes 1-5
>Jurassic Park episodes 1-4
>Double Dragon Neon
>TWD season 1
holding out hope they put Srangers Wrath HD up for 99 cents since all the other Oddworld games have popped up 1 or more times so far
strider. I fucking hate metrovania games and back tracking all over the place to get upgrades is annoying as fuck. I also keep forgetting which exits lead to which parts of the maps so fuck it
been playing PDF for the past few days but I'm taking a break since I found GOTY edition of oblivion for 50 cents at a garage sale
and yes I'm the one that's been having a hard time completing songs on normal
Finished Tearaway today, the beat The Tear without dying trophy was frustrating due to how finnicky the controls can become and how everything in that level is designed to fuck you over.
I'm working on getting the platinum in Assassin's Creed IV at the moment
Was working on Drakengard 3 but my PS3 Fat 60gb just derped its last herp I think....
Thinking about really making an effort to go for plats but idk, porbably will start with something easy like infamous
That bionic commando rearmed trophy, a real challange, is probably the hardest one I've done
I also did it on my brothers account
I wish steam achievements had a better interface like this
technically I could/should have platinum'd it but everyone of the online trophies were glitched to hell and back and its amazing the broze online trophies even dropped for me.
>trophy for getting 100 kills with ever missile type
>had over 300 to 500 kills with each missle
>50 kills with each vehicle
>had about 200 kills with each vehicle
trophies for online were glitched from day 1 and the devs never really tried to fix any of the problems with em so its extremely lucky if you manage to get all online trophies for the game
Don't know if any of these are particularly impressive.
What are some games with challenging, rare and fun trophies to do? Have both Vita and PS3. I'm thinking of doing Vanquish next
Has anyone experienced problems with plating BF4 on the PS4? I don't have the trophy for all the assignments or the one for experiencing all endings even though I have the other 2 trophies for killing Irish and Hannah. Its really bugging me that I'm sitting on my first plat and the game is buggy as shit.
I hated PW and never finished, but II'll warn you that you have to play through MGS4 a minimum of eight times if you end up going for the plat on that one as well. It's not very hard though.
I've been starting a lot of games these past few months and then not playing.
I'm just now getting back into a groove and playing through these to get my completion rate back up. http://psnprofiles.com/Pineappleskewer
Have you ever had to play through a whole game again because you fucked yourself and didn't realize until it was too late?
Did you ever suffer through a game because you didn't want a disgusting blemish on your account? If so, what game(s)?
