Would you a long hair Naoto?
Anyone play Q yet?
Delayed to milk P3 & 4 more
That's what happens when you get that sweet senpai lovin
short or long,i don´t care..i´d say yes no matter what.
>Best girl is anime-only
I have no idea but
I want to cut her neck and fuck her throat
I knew someone would do this, you bastard.
Daily reminder that if this isn't u r toaster waifu then you have shit taste
eventually you will get emancipation
don't have a 3ds
That's Labrys' friend
It's from a manga spinoff, Detective Naoto. Apparently, what, nine months after Persona 4? She does investigative things with a male anti-shadow suppression unit. At least, that's what I remember from a year or so ago, so I may be wrong on a bunch of details.
It's actually a novel set two years after Persona 4 when Naoto's a third-year student. Basically she's trying to solve a missing persons case that turns into a murder and her partner is a male anti-shadow robot with a childish and rude personality (and he's also a scrapped prototype).
The manga was a really shitty adaptation of the novel with awful art.
I still would, but short hair is better.
Hope they announce the western release date for Q soon.
You can't aggravate me with non-canon material, anon. Your image never happened.
The only thing stated to be non-canon is the Trinity Soul anime, anon.
Though if it helps, when I read the novel there's zero romance in it. They spend 99% of the book calling each other names and arguing.
There's this bit where Naoto's mentor Touko tells her to have a shower in the break room since she's pulling an all-nighter and then Sousei blunders in because he remembered something important about the case and sees Naoto's female underwear on the bench. He's like "holy shit Naoto is a perverted guy who wears women's underwear!" and she busts out naked and wet and is all "No you moron I'm a woman!" and he's like "pssh calm your tits I'm not attracted to humans" while she's raging at him
It's never stated, but Kanji does send her a mobile phone message out of the blue asking if she's alright and if she wants him to come to the school she transferred to temporarily (for investigating the murder cases at the school) and beat up anyone giving her trouble.
Also apparently his stuffed toys have become really popular and lucrative?
I'm lonely /v/, what are some games like Persona where I'm a modern age teenager who hangs out with his group of friends and does stuff together?
Never. Too grown up for those jap pedophiles.
This thread's giving me a heart attack.
naoto looks kawaii as fuck
in some alternate universe,i know this is canon.
We all did, anon.
Why, that is a genuinely good idea, anon.
I just don't have any.
I want to ride her caboose
I wonder what Chie tastes like
So Margaret confirmed?
Door-kun will totally be added to the empty space on top.
Sweaty low-grade steak
I haven't played P4 yet, but this sounds retarded, as I'm under the impression Marie only exists in Golden, thus the story only works in a re-release 4 years or so after the fact that completely changes the plot?
To be precise Marie is a part of izanami just like how ameno sagiri and hippie alien angel were also part of her. In the end after you beat Izanami Marie pretty much absorbs them and becomes the dominant part of izanami instead of the gas station attendant and becomes whole again.
Probably means Rio and Saori don't exist as well. Truly a loss.
Maybe he'll be the last boss in story mode?
That cunt with red hair will try to release nyx and door-kun will be all "...fuck..." and smack him into the ground with the seal.
With the p3 cast in the background crying or something.
I feel like P4 has better individual songs but as a soundtrack P3's is better overall.
Like, P4 has four or five songs that completely blow P3's out of the water, but a lot of it is just kinda generic jpop with some orchestral things, not very cohesive like P3's was.
Though P4 had the better Reincarnation album.
They won't, Persona only.
SMT fans might get tossed a bone once every few years.
I can agree with this to a point. Although to be fair P3 didn't have much in the way of dungeon variety since its all just tartarsauce. But adding parts to the BGM to form a cohesive song as you progress gets my dick rock hard so I liked Tartarus' bgm. I can only thing of two dungeons that stood out from P4 though, while it had variety a lot of them were really bland/annoying. Heaven and Long Way are the two.
Heartbeat Heartbreak > When the Moon Reaches stars
Mass Destruction > Reach out to the Truth
The Battle for Everyone's Souls > Mist
But hey thats just me
Show me where she is in vanilla P4
Marie was a whole new character in Golden, but unlike Persona 3 Portable's female MC, Golden basically is an addon to the canon since Persona 4 Arena's canon and loosely references it.
The best battle themes in P3 are Battle for Everyone's Souls and Unavoidable Battle. Except you don't ever hear more than 30 seconds of the latter because Strega is a bunch of pissbabies.
Sounds rather retarded that the original game is rendered obsolete by what appears, to somehow who hasn't played the game, to be some developer's shitty waifu he forced in. Especially when her version of the game is exclusive to a platform that has sold about 36.4 units.
>Golden anime is just about the Marie parts
She's a prominent character in the Persona 4 Golden anime that basically New Game +'s past most of the story to cover the new Golden bits. But yeah, there's a reason the fanbase isn't too fond of her or Golden.
They're milking this shit for all its worth.
I just hope Persona 5 has integrity in and of itself, and the rape only happens afterwards. If it is built with rape in mind that would be tragic.
there's also the scenes like operation babe hunt 2.0, the beach scene, the ski trip, the fireworks part, etc.
Exactly. People have been debating that she's "Atlus' Lightning", but she's worse than that. I would say she's a full-on Marie Sue. She seriously reads like a bad fanfic character.
It's the Marie parts, the new scenes Golden added, and probably Adachi stuff too.
They mix them together, so you get episode which is about Yu getting his scooter, going to the mall with Yosuke and Kanji for a babe hunt, but he also has a shopping date with Chie, Yukiko and Marie who are having a fashion competition with Ai and also he needs to get home to have dinner with Nanako.
It's fucking hilarious.
She was never hateable. Marie is a pure and honest girl!
Oh and I forgot the cringe worthy band scene which I always fast forward through.
Oh no, not at all.
Adachi only showed up once for 10 seconds.
For real though, they skipped over Yukiko's dungeon between episodes 1 and 2, and skipped over Kanji's dungeon about 4 minutes into episode 2.
Long Haired Naoto looks too much like Lucina
>tsundere with piles of unnecessary accessories and speshul snowflake "quirk" shoves herself into an established story, latches onto MC, is instantly liked by the main cast, and is secretly a goddess with amnesia who might be the canon love interest
Yep that sounds like something straight outta deviantart.
All they needed was a gas station attendant link that advanced really quickly like Sun and Devil in p3. I forget who they were [Pretty sure it was Tanaka and the dude with cancer] but it was pretty much a guaranteed rank up every time you visited them. That's all they had to do.
Philemon confirmed to
not be forgotten like the rest of P1 and 2
What's with that resolution?
Even my phone takes bigger screenshots.
Is Persona 4 less repetitive and formulaic than Persona 3? With Persona 3 the daytime activity aspect became stale within 3 months of play, and the dungeon was always the same. You'd be lucky to get something like the beach trip to break up the monotony between full moons.
tfw your waifu has some sort of mental disorder
P4 has more stuff to do, Golden adds in the entire spring months the original game skipped over but the majority of them are cringeworthy wacky friend shenanigans and waifu scenes.
This is what i've always wanted so they can add Minato, Tatsuya, Mia, Johnathan, ect. But instead of that, they want to make everything canon so people feel the need to buy it so they can "complete the story". Persona is turning into KH.
Oh stop it, Marie is the only bad part of golden.
The waifu shit is like it was taken right out of a shitty doujin. Like when Chie said "I love you more! Oh god what have you got me saying."
What have you heard that it does better? The characters are far worse and the little character development that there is (for the main cast) is pretty much the exact same thing. The dungeons are pretty much just as shit as P3 it's just that instead of tartarus you get a different looking hallway set to run through. The only real improvement is that you can control your party members in 4, but I felt like that removed a bit of strategy to the battles.
No, they're pretty funny in general. Protag demonstrates his bilingual skills to a loli, almost gets pulled into marriage by an insanely controlling older woman and seduces a middle aged police officer among other things in operation babe hunt 2.0
It's basically as barebones are P3, man. There's just a lot more dating sim stuff in P4, that's all.
Just play it so you can see how mediocre it is and join the rest of us who are waiting for a new game to distract everyone from shitposting endlessly about P3 and P4 waifus.
Oh and he almost gets converted by some weird cult member.
Oh, I've already got P3 and P4 off PSN. I had finished P3 and was going to wait a month or two to play P4 since P3 sapped me with its length.
It feels like I would have enjoyed P3 twice as much if it was half as long.
It's not even a dating sim. It's a shitty friendship sim with no depth at all. The only "dating" related thing is the ski trip and whatnot. Oh and the girl of your choice saying she loves you.
Chaos first time around, I agreed with Walter for like 9/10ths of the game up to the point
where he joined satan. And completely went against his character.I tried going neutral 2nd play-through but god going through all those side missions is just painful.
Good. Law a shit.
Now I can't stop seeing that as well. Also one of my favorite small additions in Golden was the old guy who patrolled the streets at night
Where was it stated that Yu was actually Izanagi? I thought it was more that she chose three representatives to inherit the potential, partly based on her seeing similarities between them and her accrual wife. It just so happened that one became incredibly twisted, another didn't meet the potential whatsoever, and Yu was the only one to reach true self-actualization. I thought there were just parallels between the legend and the game's story, not that it was effectively a repeat.
They are good and some of them are different according to your choices and people who you spend time with. The new dungeon brings an interesting twist to the game even if you are overleveled.
I liked that there are some extra content included like live concerts of some of the songs, an explanation of the Jungian psychology, some quiz game, art, etc.
I played P4 on the PS2 and enjoyed replaying golden.
Please don't even mention it, SMTIV ruined Lilith.
And to think that in the first SMT she was the best heroine in the series.
It's funny, I went into Golden expecting to hate Marie but she ended up becoming my new waifu.
He is supposed to be a blank slate which you can easily self insert into while everyone regardless of age/gender is attracted to your dick.
That's one more thing I like from the P4A, when they were at Mitsuo dungeon they showed that Yu was scared of being alone, that the case was the only thing making him interesting to his peers, the same at the ending.
What can I say?
1. She doesn't immediately jump on your dick like every other girl in the game
2. them cute stripy stockings
3. she's grumpy and fun to tease but isn't physically abusive
4. she gets under Rise's skin
5. she's totally fine with killing herself just to save you and your friends
6. she merges with Izanami and becomes way cheerier and loves you so much she'll say it on national TV
>Woud you a long hair Naoto
I would destroy her
I am getting more and more convinced that it will either be delayed or canceled so that Atlus can milk some more money out of P4 to fall back on incase P5 is a failure.
>Anyone play Q yet?
Why would I play something that is the sole reason why the Persona series if full of faggots and no life neets?
>I am getting more and more convinced that it will either be delayed or canceled so that Atlus can milk some more money out of P4 to fall back on incase P5 is a failure.
They've probably done enough of that by now. Persona 5's been in development since 2011ish, and they only started giving out details of Persona 4 like three months before release.
This is how Atlus rolls, just chillax man.
So technically by the time this novel plays out Kanji is already like pic related right?
>Why would I play something that is the sole reason why the Persona series if full of faggots and no life neets?
Welll if you care about gameplay it's definitely one of the hardest Persona games around
Well the timeline is:
P4 finishes in march
Arena 1 and 2 are in the first week of May
Golden epilogue is End of July-start of August (Japanese summer vacation)
DAN is in september
And then Detective Naoto is set when Naoto's a thrird year so like 2 years after P4.
Kanji's hair could be anything. He could look like guile by then.
>Dancing all Night is after the Golden epilogue
Because it's chronologically the last game? Plot is Rise is back working again with her junior idols when shadows kidnap a bunch of them, so she calls in the IT to help her investigate. Then shadow dance battles.
He has it in Arena too even though he's graduated.
The reason is that they wear armour under their uniforms for going into the Shadow World. Not really sure how but I guess it's implied they modded them somehow?
I dunno man. It's stupid, but it's consistently stupid.
>Rise is working again
>shadows suddenly kidnap junior idols
>so there are dance battles against shadows
>The story takes place half a year after the Inaba City serial murder case was solved and Rise Kujikawa returns to the world of entertainment. As rumors begin spreading that "at midnight, if you see a strange video playing on a certain site, you are transported to the 'other side' and will never wake up again," members of the idol group "Kanamin Kitchen," which includes Rise's underclassman, Kanami Mashita, are disappearing. In the game, players engage in a "dance battle" with the Shadows in the mysterious world of "Mayonaka Stage."
Also it has a cute new girl.
I like Yukiko the most but she want a handsome prince, I don't think she would ever like me
>Get Vita and Golden
>There's a fast forward button
>Don't have to go through the 12 hour intro for the 3rd time
Game of the fucking year.
I wish this guy was a s-link or even turned into an antagonist persona user like Strega. I found him to have a really interesting character hook and the way he was presented in the animu was one of the only redeeming factors about it.
>Anything too dumb for a Persona game
These guys need to get a grip.
They need to focus on more serious things, like dance battles with shadows to rescue junior idols.
Persona 3 was a dark blue, Persona 4 was a mix of bright orange and yellow, and Persona 5 seems to be a crimson red. Probably not coincidental given the color theming of the series starting with P3. And P5 is apparently about being shackled by the responsibilities of life and trying to find your own personal freedom, so who knows how this will turn out.
>went to a party for some people I didn't even know
>we planned how it being small so I brought my Vita and PS3 for Purseowner
>hook it up in the living room
>turns out to be a huge party
>black people keep walking by the TV, no one interested except the occasional kid, everyone wanting to do their thing
>the only person even remotely interested enough to ask what game it was was a black girl
That made me kek
>"Our intent is to make players take the next step and move forward"
Atlus is telling you all this will be the final Persona game and that you losers need to go outside.
It's weird though since both games use a secondary color extensively. Persona 3 had the green hued Dark Hour and Persona 4's TV World had that trippy Red and Black airwave effect.
So what kind of romances do you want in p5?
I want a demon girl
It was supposed to be a small party and I brought some fighters but I forgot I left my 2nd controller in storage. I honestly was going to stay home but I had nothing better to do. It was just a bunch of drunk people outside there too.
Indeed I am
B-but anon I'm outside all the time, I try not to drive too much since my town is relatively small so I just walk everywhere. Gamestop for example is about a 2 hour round trip
Why did Yu let Yosuke have Labrys? He could have turned his swag on and got his weenie toasted but he didnt.
Hey, I would want her as a returning character to tie things in or for fanservice's sake, and returning characters like that probably wouldn't even get a main social link. Persona 4 is almost getting as series-gripping as the Kingdom Hearts interquels in terms of installments and things based around it..
Yeah, but none of the spin-offs actually matter to the main games, so it's not like they're a big deal.
I dunno. Dancing All Night, probably not of much relevance, and
Q is really fucked with its logic and arguably non-canon unless some weird shit happens involving it.But the Arena games, while spinoffs and thus probably not necessary for P5 overall, certainly have important elements being flung about here and there.
Chain of Memories is important to the plot, boy is it fucking big.
358/2 Days and Coded are pretty much useless side stories.
Birth By Sleep is basically Kingdom Hearts Zero. It's very important.
It's not that bad.
Well that means you weren't aware of the shit loads of spinoff games Square made that were completely irrelevant to the main plot? The only one that was important was Chain of Memories for the GBA. The rest were just milking the series.
So chain of memories, the shitty card game. didn't have anything to do with KH 2?
You could play KH2 and not be confused as to why sora is sleeping or whatever the fuck is happening?
The series has a pretty simple plot but they scattered importamt plot points and set up through the tons of spin-offs for some reason, so you have to be aware of every game in the series.
well it's a persona thread but
Chain of Memories is KH 1.5 and you need it to make sense of a good part of KH2
358/2 Days is basically fluff about Roxas and his one year of life, but helps explain what Riku was doing and a bunch of other shit
Re:Coded ahahahahaha it's a refresher course on KH1 with some other stuff thrown in but it's forgettable (yet somehow noteworthy enough to get one scene of relevance in DDD)
Birth By Sleep is a prequel to the series but adds a lot of context to the plot and makes you finally know shit about the real antagonist responsible for the whole plot of the franchise
Dream Drop Distance is KH 2.5 and mandatory material leading up to KH3
the 1.5 and 2.5 HD ReMixes will will pretty much pack every game but Dream Drop Distance on the PS3 if you want it all in ont place
>You could play KH2 and not be confused as to why sora is sleeping or whatever the fuck is happening?
Yes? That's the purpose of the opening movie scene. Not everyone played the GBA game nor beat it to figure out its ending. I never played it and I got the basic gist of what happened to Sora. Besides, its not like if you were really confused you couldn't just go online and find out why.
Wait, I think I read >>254005009
wrong Thought he said the KH spinoffs had nothing to do with anything, sorry disregard that I suck cocks
The first few months after P5 is released will be a hell of autism, with people constantly comparing P3 and 4 to it endlessly. I don't want to participate in that stupidity.
Maybe that BS will ebb down a few months after people had enough of the autistic arguments.
Im not even going to come to 4chan once its released. I want to be completely in the dark about it as much as possible and in order to not run into any spoilers, I will leave /v/ until I play it.
Well if it's Japan only you'd have to get the original.
You could just youtube it I guess, but it's not in a linear order.
There's like four different blocks. The first block is Yu, Yosuke Chie and Yukiko, and you play them up to a cliffhanger point then they stop and you unlock Teddie and Kanji. Same thing happens, you play up to a cliffhanger, then it unlocks Naoto, Mitsuru, Aigis and Akihiko's stories, which go up to a cliffhanger as well. You only have to clear one story mode of each block, but once you have done each you unlock Labrys' story mode which is the longest and only has like one or two fights in it. Once you finish Labry's mode you can then continue on from the cliffhanger in each of the other stories, and doing that unlocks the last story, Elizabeth's one.
It was actually pretty complicated.
i'm a poor college student using the last of his money to invest in a new computer. also i need $50 more for the other half of the tarot deck. atlus sure knows how to jew me into buying their products.
I know. Technically you can watch let's plays, but you really should play it yourself.
I don't know. The game should barely be $15 in some places. That's like a homeless person's lunch money.
