everytime. i especially love when faggots that don't know even the slightiest bit of english think the KING KONG video is serious too. i kid you not, there's people that think the fucking King Kong video is scary too
Guy starts a creepypasta/ video series dubbed BEN DROWNED about supposedly paranormal experiences he witnessed and recorded while playing Majoras mask.
the series garnered a lot of fans and on april 1st 2013 he posted kingkong.wmv and every idiot flipped the fuck out.
There should be a VN wear it does something similar but only as a small chance per play through so that some people experience something spooky and others don't.
I had a Creepypasta made about one of my real life experience from Pokemon Stadium 1
>Green Mewtwo and a Red Dugtrio
Some writefag tried but he was tired and kept making spelling errors ruining the mood
Another real life experience I had was from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn a Druid Walked towards the screen and I screamed
internallylike a bitch
Incase you're wondering how a fight normally looks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE0FrraJ4vo
I always find fourth wall breaking like this unsettling, thankfully the story was more of a mystery than horror.
Hey I remember that. He was gonna make a video game for this wasn't he? What ever happened with that. Did he realize he was taking this shit a bit too far and didn't really have any way to finish it?
played it for the gameplay and the nostalgia, as shitty as it may be
I remember playing it as a kid and I thought it was the tightest shit being able to kill postal dude at will. It was pretty rare feature in vidya at the time
does anyone have any creepy stories about real events like those Disney accidents?
>Mfw the sequel to Abandoned by Disney suffered Godzilla NES syndrome and blew it at the end
Wait, there was a sequel? Good god, how bad is it? Give me a summary of it.
I thought you were kidding about the scrotum part...
Another guy goes to the island, and finds more fucked up stuff. He goes through some shit that should've killed him, but didn't. He then gives up writing about it on his blog, and goes home. Still better than the Sonic.Exe sequel
I have an idea /v/.
Go to the creepypasta wiki
click random pasta
Make video game adaptation of said pasta
or if it is an existing game make a mod/rom hack
You play as a serial killer and the goal is to stay out of the cops way by disguising yourself as various people. How ever since you murdered that person you have a limited time until the police catch on
Well, I was just giving an example of what I meant since last thread someone posted a video about an employee dying during the America Sings ride. I want stories that are actual events that have happened.
That sounds pretty cringe worthy. The creepypasta wiki is nothing but middleschool edge. It's gotten so bad that Slenderman is apparently a blood demon now and kids who are addicted to the wiki are stabbing their friends to summon him.
That was fucking creepy
I want more 'scary' games or thriller games to watch to see if there are any places where beta testers NOPE, find that place, add some 4th wall breaking shit.
Try to quit out of the game? your background has changed, pictures added into folders you won't find till days/weeks later. shit like that.
I asked this in the other thread but didn't get an answer.
Does anyone have the creepypasta about a guy talking about some game he found where you play as a character who can go forward in time?
I remember the post-present and distant-future levels had some creepy parts to them.
The ending had some pop song playing and the guy figured the game was just a good joke or something, but it ended with "Edit: That song was from 2009, even though the game was released in 2007. I'm going to look into this."
I feel like it had screenshots to go with it but I honestly can't remember.
Why did it go full retard anons?
At least the altternate ending salvaged it.
>Fuck you, I'm telling my parents.
the hallucination and the final cutscene? Yeah, I remember. But still...mindless shooter
And the Postal Dude's lines sure doesn't help with the game's creepiness. Not complaining though...
Man I was so disappointed with Postal 2 after playing the first one. I mean I still beat it a thousand times but I wanted an even better psychopath simulator not Edgy Beavis & Butthead.
Industrial/Dark Ambient/Musique Concrete
It's the deep end of music and there's a lot of stuff that is a little too experimental for untrained ears. Here's some primer:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92pYBWcLYD8 (the last minute of this is one of the scariest things I've ever heard in music)
That should get you going. Feel free to share this around.
There probobally isn't a place that compiles all the good ones. You're going to have to dredge through a lot of shit for those.
/v/ has some good tastes in it though, better then neo-/x/.
It's probobally because /x/ has been unbearable lately.
They're now talking about how the Berenstain Bears were always the Berenstein Bears and that an alternate reality folded over the original, changing it to Berentain.
Wait a minute. Why does:
>Super Go Karts: The karts were meant to be driven around a small loop track at a speed of about 20 mph (32 km/h) set by the governor devices on them. However, park employees knew how to circumvent the governors by wedging tennis balls into them, and they were known to do so for parkgoers. As a result, an otherwise standard small-engine car ride became a chance to play bumper cars at 50 mph (80 km/h), and many injuries resulted from head-on collisions. Also, the engines were poorly maintained, and some riders were overcome by gasoline fumes as they drove.
Not him, but I thought the Postal sound was familiar and I was wondering in what game I'd heard it before. Music is a powerful thing man, sounds can make you remember things you had long forgotten.
have a couple of screens
a few spooky albums
B. Lustmord & Robert Rich - Stalker
David Lynch & Alan Splet - Eraserhead
Jason Crumer - Ottoman Black
this ghost girl is fully voiced by the way
You know, everyone talks about their favorite let's players or favorite reviewers, but nobody ever gives creepypasta readers their due. I honestly love Creeps McPasta and YuriOfWind, though for different reasons of course.
>forgetting The School
The hive has been cleansed. The source of the corruption has been corked, laid in a body bag and dragged to the outskirts of existence..
justo como ha planeado
Repeated and conflicting alterations to a thoughtform lead to its corruption, and eventually, to its destruction.
You can sleep well knowing that you won't be diddled by tentacles any time soon, /v/.
Everyone misreads it as Berenstein, stein is a common last name segment for jews(which the authors happen to be) and the mind has a tendency to assume names because the mind interprets the whole word rather than each letter.
/x/ of course thinks we remember it as Stein because it was stein and reality glitched.
oh boy, you're in for a surprise
I don't know why, but this tune gives me a strange feeling that I have heard it a long time ago but I can't remember where, like a repressed childhood memory
funny thing is that two different friends of mine also told me the same thing on two different occasions
>tfw you pause your ambient/dark ambient music
That silence feels fucking weird.
I am a markerlight of flesh, in this dimension where all is pretty
Yume Nikki is great if you want creepy shit
Or you might not find it creepy at all and just really comfy
He's completely insane, just looking at his diary entries before each level alone. The music of each are is supposedly what he hears in his mind. He's pretty much on a killing spree thinking that he's doing good.
This fucking scene right here
>Open the third link
>"Oh, I'm sure this'll be only somewhat spooky and kinda slow"
>It's basically what you'd here in a horror came when you're being chased by something
What kind of shit bait is this? read the thread and gather material before throwing the line you fucking amateur.
This is /v/, we have no creativity and we don't create that shit, all we do is judge them extremely harshly while we suck each other's dick about our superior litterature tastes.
Because author sacrificed element of mystery in exchange for a cheezy meta plot in which he could insert a love interest in the hope of making the reader feel more sympathetic and engaged with the author and it fails miserably.
Why? Because the mere recording of his progress in the exploration was far than enough to get us engaged as hell and root for the author, we wanted to see more of the fucked up shit, we didn't necessarily want to understand its fucking origin.
As some anon said in previous thread, they should have concluded this like a normal journal. Nothing more than a weird game, it concludes apruptely and in an unsettling manner, author is uncomfortable as hell, nothing further happens and everyone, including the audience, is left with a big "what the fucking hell happened?"
When reading horror, you're not supposed to go "It's finally over!"
You're supposed to go "What the fuck?"
I'll have you guys know that Action park is back.
I'm a field sampler and went there to pick up a few samples. They honestly think no one remembers. I asked one of the employees about it and they just laughed and asked me what I was talking about.
it's perfectly safe now believe it or not
>This is not the dude this is a demonic voice taunting and commanding him to slaughter and kill eventuality leading him to an elementary school
I can't find this patch. I found a torrent to the game that has some sort of patch for it though.
>tfw you are the only one left
>tfw throwing all granades at ground to tank the last big group
>tfw it's over and you survived
>tfw you can never play your favourite horror game for the first time again
What's her name? Mine's:
I got really scarred running away from that huge guy and the twins and
>that torture scene
Both sound like

when i listen to this song with my headphones i cant be alone, it gets reaaally creepy
>those muffled heavy breathings in the background
first time i heard it i had to change it to some happy up beat shit
the atmosphere in the game was awesome
the other day i went to a garage sale and saw a neogeo game with no label on the cartridge sitting in this box that said 'spooky contents; don't touch' i asked the old man how much it was and he said it was free so i took it home and then i realized i don't even own a neogeo so i threw the cartridge in the trash but then i realized there was blood coming out from the cartridge now but oh wait it was just old ketchup from the day before
Playing the original Silent Hill by yourself in complete darkness at 3 am is probably the scariest thing you can do to yourself.
Even with the bad graphics, it has something scary about it.
Fable 2 out of fucking nowhere.
>'Lost child' quest's ending
>winter cabin (you know the one)
>ominous deserted and flooded Oakvale
>fucking scaryass spire section
>dat unsettling soundtrack
You wouldn't happen to know a song I've been looking for since I first heard it on 2010 would you?
Had something to do with an evil slug possessing people and raping murdering them.
Man, all the Demon Doors in the Fable games were varying levels of spooky. Its a shame that they were the only things with lots of atmosphere or character in 2 and 3.
>feeling extremely uncomfortable
>outta nowhere "HAAPY BAZDAE TSU YU"
>I instantly start singing "SHUT UP IT'S TIME TO EEEAT TOO BAD NO BON APPETIIIT SHUT UP IT'S TIME TO EEEAT YOU KNOW MY LOVE IS SWEET"
I feel so much better now
I've always felt like buying one of those cartridges that look like the real deal that were used for piracy, and putting a corrupted version of a game in it, then writing its name with a marker on it and selling it in a creepy weirdly-worded announcement.
>you will never spend an injury filled day at old action park
I swear to christ I've heard that background music a hunded times already. Why is it that when you take a sample from any song, cut a few seconds of it and loop it it always sounds the same to any other looped song?
Pretty funny video regardless
Ben Frost - By the Throat
>Dark ambient, industrial
SleepResearch_Facility - Nostromo
>Dark Ambient, Space Ambient,
>You shouldn't have done this... Hehe...
>My little brother has religiously followed this entire series, and after seeing this he's up in his room, screaming about he's going to kill himself. Fuck you, I'm telling my parents
>I HOPE BEN MAKES YOU SO SCARED YOU SHIT YOUR PANTS FOR FUCKING LIFE!!!!
>you ruined one of the best ARG's/creepypastas
ahahahahaha oh god the underage tears of rage are delicious
Ben Frost is top tier.
If you really wanted some atmospheric tracks, you should check out his side project: School of Emotional Engineering.
They're not spooky, but very somber
When people talk about "omg so weird and disturbing" videogames they always talk about pretty regular games, even with some more obscure stuff like Fatal Frame and Clock tower
But Postal 1 is on a whole different level. I mean, jesus fuck. It's not some retarded creepypasta shit, it's not a straightforward horror game. It's just fucked up
That was... interesting.
I don't really know what the fuck I'm feeling anymore.
I remember when I first played Max Payne. It gave me a huge feeling of unease. Even though it's not a horror game at all, the atmosphere, the music, the loneliness, the nightmare sequences, basically the entire feel of the game is insanely unsettling. Pretty dark even for Rockstar, even darker than fucking Manhunt and that's saying something
Nothing was wrong, but you hsve to remember, according to the game that was the mind of a deranged psychopath. It only made sense to him. Postal dude is actually scary as fuck.
That's a different game.
Does she chase you into other games?
It's different when someone reads things. A lot of creepypasta readers are god awful, but some are actually insanely good at telling a story and actually making you FEEL the story. It's the same way some people are naturally good at telling jokes or just telling stories in general
Yeah, I've seen people on /v/ expecting there to be norse demons and shit to fight half way through the game considering what the atmosphere was building up to at that point.
Kept you waiting, huh?
Also, take a look at FREINDS: The game, by the author of this pasta. Is pretty good.
Oh cool, Nostromo sound ambie-
>10:40 on onwards
HOLY FUCKING SHIT MY SIDES
This is great, I always loved the OST and ambient sounds from Alien
>Does she chase you into other games?
You can't be serious
>10:20 to the end
>That moment it just shifts into maximum overdrive out of fucking nowhere
>The way the stupid hics are freaking out
Anon please, my sides can't take anymore
I remember my first time playing Counter Strike was spooky as shit for me because all the bots were just standing still and wouldn't do anything.
No hyper realistic blood spelling out my name or anything, but it did feel a bit off.
>mfw watching Sinister at midnight on laptop through HDMI
>mfw absolute silence
*DING* AVAST VIRUS DATABASE HAS BEEN UPDATED
That scared the FUCK out of me man. Didn't even fall asleep until 6
Why did people even like that movie in the first place?
>you will never lull your yandere family into thinking you're the sane one
>you will never have just enough of their quarreling and finally snap under the pressure
>you will never exerminate them one by one, sneaking up on your lover and telling her that you never loved her before bashing her skull in, and finishing by walking into your youngest daughter's room covered in her sibling's blood
>you will never say "you should be happy, you got to stay with daddy the longest!"
>you will never sing her a lullaby while choking her to death and watching the life leave her cold, betrayed eyes
I think I am. Tried looking it up on youtube. not finding it.
You're thinking of Insidious
The Conjuring was just the Amiytvill Horror with exorcist elements.
Sinister was Children of the Corn with Slenderman elements
Insidious was Tiny Tim presents Darth Maul and Bettlejuice rip off Poltergeist.
I was thinking that you did that on purpose
You know, how all these movies are in the same style by the same director/producers and all that.
eh, I guess it was a stupid attempt at a joke anyway
>listen to creepypastas told by some guy on youtube
>he also sometimes talks about creepypasta rituals and all of that retarded shit, still interesting to hear
>go to comments
>OMG SO SCARY
>IF I DO THIS WILL I DIE
>OMG DONT TRY THIS 2 DANGEROUS
>im 2 scared why diid people do this
>wow guise i totally did this game and it HAPPENED
It's like I'm really on /x/
The guy who did Sinister is the guy who did Daybreakers, Ethan Hawke. His movies have good concepts but they're hit and miss.
The Conjuring and Insidious were done by James Wan, that edgy Asian who did Saw and Dead Silence. His movies always suck dick but are loved for some reason.
>hear /v/ talk about how shit /x/ is
>"Oh it can't be that bad"
>go there to check it out
>first thread there is a post asking for people to join some satanist club
It gets to the point where you can't even exit the game. It's creepy as fuck because the entire VN is happy go lucky normal playthrough until that fucking part. Then it's like "HOLY FUCK!"
Daily reminder that I GOT KING KONG IN THE TRUNK
But seriously, Jadusable is a total bro for making that video and ruining a bunch of losers lives
He wrote the experiences first then uploaded the videos as evidence. He did pretty well in racking in a sizable crowd, to the point where even people to this day consider BEN DROWNED to be one of the best Creepy Pastas.
Then when he had them in the palm of his hand he postponed another video upload for like half a year or so. With the fans teetering on the brink of giving up he delivers KING KONG and everyone flips shit.
They were convinced that the video was portraying actual supernatural phenomenon so when the "ghosts" were spouting king kong it seemingly broke their delusions.
It happened back when 4chan servers were shitting themselves constantly and /b/ decided on a roll that /x/ would be the meet-up board when it went down.
They used pretty much anything they could find. It would always be some random retarded shit with "Is this paranormal???" in the post. It went on for too long. The damage is irreversible.
>They were convinced that the video was portraying actual supernatural phenomenon
So basically he baited a bunch of underage retards and then pulled a fantastic April Fools prank on them?
He sounds like a really cool guy. Would hang out with
Possibly. /x/ used to have a bunch of /lit/fags who posted there who would write the stories, a lot of them the ones that are famous.
Then they left, ironic shitposting took over, etc.
/x/ was a place of unbridled creativity before then
>Finally decide to hit the sack
>Walk over to bed that's next to the window
>Look out over the golf course I live beside
>Suddenly a feeling of compete terror washes over me
>Have to hold onto the windowsill to prevent myself collapsing, while I start to panic
>Nothing outside the window except fog, but I'm paralyzed with fear
>Pass out and wake up the next morning to the sounds of my neighbours pounding on the door
>Talk to them, they've been crying
>Apparently last night something murdered their cat in my back garden, completely tore it apart
Bloody paw prints lead right up to my bedroom window
And that's why I now sleep with 2 loaded shotguns within arms reach.
This reminds me that /x/ has some of the worst tripfags on 4chan outside of possibly /soc/ and /cgl/.
there was actually a guy using greentexting in his sentences like for example.
tripfagging tripfagging tripfagging.
>gib attention please.
>>tripfaging some more.
>>>I suck cock.
It was as if he was using the arrows to label his sentences by number.
It was probably another cat anon. Wild cats are known to be very aggressive
Then again who knows
The problem with removing boards is that all the board's resident retards have to go somewhere, and they sure as fuck aren't leaving 4chan. The reason we have so many feelfags and sadfrogs is because moot closed down /r9k/ while it was still growing.
Luckily for you this has happened to me before. I will now introduce you to the foe you must slay. It will be a hard, and
Pretty sure you need to use cold iron pellets.
I work on ATMs as a living. I've been stabbed and shot at, and I live each day knowing some bastard could fuck me over for the cash. But, I am not afraid of that, or getting shot, or anything. There was something out there, it utterly terrified me, and it wasn't a goddamn cat.
Jesus Christ that scared the shit out of me
It's a noise
Humans can "hear" sounds too low (infrasound) to be audible but they are still detected. 17Hz has been proven to make people feel anxious and such while 20Hz is the lowest frequency humans can hear.
Is this your first time seeing it?
This game is deeply underrated when it comes to atmosphere plus with the n64 graphics makes it even more unsettling.
>the RMS Titanic will someday cease to exist
I...I just want to visit the wreck at least once in my life
I always thought Ecco was pretty creepy and unsettling.
>Aww, what a cute dolphin ga--
>Where did everyone go?
This glitched dog snuck up on me in a cave in Skyrim. I had no dog follower.
Have you guys ever heard the one about the hyperrealistic Pokemon game with the backwards Lavender Town music that made hundreds of Japanese kids kill themselves because there were pictures of real dead kids in the game?
unexposed new visitors are
We were all new once, but we were shaped by harsh criticism and volatile reactions until we learned how to adapt to the boards culture (in some ways regrettably so).
No one is on /x/ to call them out for their faggotry and make an example because all of old /x/ has left. It is for this reason the board is so alien to the rest of 4chan, it's unaffected by everything else.
why why why why why why why why why why why why why did I listen to even one of those why why why why why why
I NEED MY DOTA 2 AFTER PARTY STREAM FOR HAPPY THOUGHTS
my morbid curiosity is racing though, like who even CREATES this fucking shit jesus christ
What's that one game where you play as the girl in hell and it's a series of minigames, some of which are stupid and others are just unplayable?
The one with the YES/NO that switches to NO/YES when you try to select no.
hey hey hey
Aquaria is much the same way.
Goddamn, why do seemingly cozy ocean exploration games always end up so fucking creepy?
>that last minute
I think STALKER SoC has some music kind of like that in some of the underground labs. Not nearly as intense though jesus.
Also I played through Dead Space 2
in one sittingand it got pitch black by the end chapters. Fucking hell the sounds and those audio logs saying all the patients experienced these noises spooked me pretty bad.
No no no, you're thinking too... normal.
This game was messed up. You have -no idea- what's going on. All you know is that shit is whack, and by the end of it you just -know- that this girl is in hell.
It's hard to explain. It had a really stupid name I can't for the life remember.
Theres this one read by someone called the pastel man that I though was pretty good, not scary but an interesting story.
the holder series is also alright.
It had one of those retarded Japanese titles where they get a bunch of english words and put them together.
This game was three words. It was Something Something Paradise.
I remember one of the 'games' involved walking around on a map for 100 steps, walking down a hallway that was meant to look like it was a bunch of bubbles or something (with words like why, death, and bone showing up).
There were no hints as to what you were supposed to be doing. I think different 'games' had different controls, too.
/v/stars are so afraid of bugs it's funny.
All these horror stories revolve arround things like 'and then the game crashed and a skeletton pops out'.
You are like cartoony one dimensional characters like Hermes Conrad from futurama...I guess his creepy stories would revolve arround ghosts messing up his files
