>you can skip 1 and play 2 and 3
Yeah, if you don't want to understand a single thing about 3. Hell, one of the main characters in 3 is the main character of 1.
That's what i thought was stupid about ff2 wii. They made the characters a few years older looking (not sure about story ages) and still removed the costumes. And there weren't that many to begin with so in the end there's only the kimonos and the mario/luigi ones.
I'm hype for fatal frame on WiiU because that's what the console was designed for. Literally no other game has a reason to exist on WiiU, and no other console has a right to have Fatal Frame.
Also she makes my penis feel itchy in a good way.
Play Fatal Frame 4.
I think it was the best of the series. Although I have yet to play the Wii version of Fatal Frame 2.
But I really enjoyed 4's story, It was realy good trying to find out the mistery of the missing girls and trying to play it in a detective(ly) manner
My fearhype is now maximum.
you sound like big fatal frame fans, i've never played one, but i'm happy you anons will be getting another. I'll probably buy it too to support random cool shit on the Wuu.
Old guy that goes to almost every World Cup wearing a Gaucho hat and carrying around a trophy he made himself. This is him watching the Brazil vs. Germany game (the one where Germany stomped 7-1).
That said, he cheered up afterwards and gave the cup to a qt German fan and said he'd be rooting for them.
TK are, Nintendo are not. Nintendo own the publishing rights. And they claim to not own the publishing rights to FF in the West. Reggie also said he doesn't even know who would publish it in the West. He did say for a fact that Nintendo are not the publishers. Good luck.
>Nintendo and Tecmo trying hard as fuck to make the franchise relevant again
>Making a new game
>Making a Jap movie
>Making a Hollywood movie
>Making a novel
>Making a manga
>Spirit Camera got localized despite being a spin off no one cares about
>Implying this doesn't have a good chance of getting a worldwide release
Right. They haven't even started preproduction. In the 2 years it'll take to shoot the movie, do you REALLY think the Wii U will still be a thing?
For the record Nintendo has NOTHING to do with the movie. Kadokawa are funding it.
>Reggie also said he doesn't even know who would publish it in the West. He did say for a fact that Nintendo are not the publishers. Good luck.
Reggie hasn't said shit about FFV.
It's a sign Kadokawa at least has plans for the franchise in the west. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd been pushing Nintendo for a localization.
And Nintendo did localize Spirit Camera.
>NoA will not localize this unless Iwata becoming CEO changed things drastically.
A change of CEO does often make a difference, yes. It seems they've been more on the ball with localizations this gen.
Hollywood is going to make it worst.
it's going to be in AMERICAAA fuck yeah
>it seems they've been more on the ball with localizations this gen.
Not really, no. There are a few Wii U games that are Japan only and the thing only has like 5 games with text in them at all to begin with.
Hell even fucking Dragon Quest X didn't get localized.
Fatal Frame series is my favorite survival horror series of all time. Play them. Play them in release order.
Best version of Fatal Frame 1 is on original Xbox. This used to be true for 2 too, but I don't know how the recent remake on WiiU has changed things. 3 is only on PS2. 4 is only on Wii, and you need to mod it to apply an unofficial translation patch.
The above bullshit is my least favorite part of the series. Fuck games where every installment is on a different platform. FF is super good though.
>Hell even fucking Dragon Quest X didn't get localized.
afaik Nintendo was never involved with that game, though. That's different from them not localizing shit like captain rainbow or the first tomodachi game.
And don't forget, Spirit Camera.
>yfw augmented reality screenpad to show you spooks coming from inside your house
>The Wii U is the best console to play it.
If it had CFW or if it were region free, this would be true, but nope.
>And don't forget, Spirit Camera.
Which bombed and isn't actually Fatal Frame. They own that IP.
>The Wii U is the best console to play it.
I wouldn't go that far, but it certainly seems like one of the few franchises that would actually have a use for that stupid tablet screen.
The entire series should be released on PC. Or fucking SOMETHING. Right now, if you want to experience the entire Fatal Frame series (best versions of each game), you need four different consoles. That's nuts.
Why would it? It's not like you can get the other costumes on your first playthrough anyway. And you can't say playing as mario "diminishes the horror" less then a bikini costume.
>The Wii U is the best console to play it
Even if that's true, WiiU has fuck all for other games, and I'm not exactly thrilled at the prospect of having to buy a new console for just this and Bayonetta 2.
Because they're fucking chavs that can't even get the tone of the line delivery correct. It's fucking horrible.
Listen to their voices and compare it to the JP or the FF2 PS2 dub, it's completely different in every way.
>diminish the horror aspect
I would actually say the bikini outifts on the ten-year-old main characters were creepier than any of the ghosts in the game.
I loved the DOA cosplay outfits though. Made them look like they wandered into the haunted village on their way home from Comiket.
1 have the best story
2 is the best overall
3 is the scariest
4 is for wii jp only
Really? I thought they got rid of that because only reason Wii was backwards compatible was because it was literally an overclocked Gamecube, and WiiU is actually new hardware.
You are right. The Wii U is just an overclocked Wii with a 3 core CPU though. It has native GC backwards compatibility too, Nintendo just locked it off. You can play GC games on it with homebrew.
6 days since no localization confirmation.
>Mio and Mayu were 15 in FF2. This is stated in FF3 when you pick up a news article about their disappearance.
They looked a hell of a lot younger than that.
Easy point of comparison is Miku from FF1, who is 16 I believe, and looks WAY older than either Mio or Mayu did.
They did look younger but they weren't. Also Miku only looked older because they changed her model to an adult. In the Japanese version she was like M&M. They changed her schoolgirl outfit to a more adult like one too. They thought westerners wouldn't sympathize with a Jap schoolgirl so she got changed.
>How come they did it in original FF2 then?
We aren't in the 90s/00s anymore anon.
Loli is retarded since Japs get through with a loophole. Loli should be based on appearance, not stated age.
Gotta find new ways to make her look different from all the other girls with short black hair in this series.
In FF4 the only way I could keep track of the characters was to memorize the colors of their skirts.
So I don't understand the condition of Fatal Frame IP. Is it really Nintendo only IP now? FF123 all got released to the PS2 and I thought Fatal Frame is owned by Tecmo
Did Nintendo paid for this one like they did with Bayo 2 or did Ninty buy the IP entirely?
>it seems that the Fatal Frame/Project Zero IP is now officially co-owned by Nintendo. Nintendo recently updated it’s copyright status, and seems to have full ownership of the spin-off Spirit Photography IP, and co-owns the Fatal Frame IP, including having ownership and publishing rights of this remake
>be 22 when first Fatal Frame came out
>scoff at the game because killing ghosts with a camera sounded fucking retarded
>skip all Fatal Frame games after
>Continually hear how good they are
>become aware of Amazon selling 1&2 on PSN for $8
>buy it because why the fuck not
>play the first one for a bit
>game look pretty decent for being almost fifteen years old
>legitimately scared in places
this is pretty cool. wish I had played them when they were new. going back to play it some more right now after seeing this thread.
hope the Wii-U one makes it over here.
If I understood correctly, they simply own the rights to every Fatal Frame game that gets released on a Nintendo platform. Basically 4, 2 Wii Edition and 5 will
NEVER EVERcome out on any other platform but Tecmo can do whatever the fuck they want with the original 3.
>We aren't in the 90s/00s anymore anon.
Publishers were way more careful about that stuff before. I don't know what SJW shithole you come from, but it doesn't dictate what "is a no-no in NA".
The trailer is giving me a raging boner, those Illusion character design.
>Publishers were way more careful about that stuff before.
If anything, that stuff was really loose because it wasn't widespread. There's been tons of refinements to the ESRB in the past decade.
> I don't know what SJW shithole you come from
I'm sorry? SJW will be up in arms if a game portrays underaged girls in a 'provocative' way. Are you daft?
I've played a ton of horror games and they still managed to scare me here or there, either with ghost movement patterns or creative atmosphere.
Fuck those ghosts that manage to do it. God damn, I hate the ones that crawl or act all jittery. Same in Haunting Ground with the old man, shit was creepy.
>You can see her navel through her dress
>Are you retarded? There's a timeskip between FF1, FF2, and FF3.
No, my point is that Miku when she was stated to be 16 looked like 6 years older than the twins when they were stated to be 15. It doesn't matter when the games happen.
The renders in >>254582562 don't do proper justice to how young their ingame models looked. I would have pegged them at about ten years old, 12 at most.
the first game is pretty cool. wish I had played it earlier. can't wait to get into the second one and wonder if the third is really bad as you guys say.
You stated an alternate model that was used for herself 3 years in the fucking future looked older. Well, no shit. Because SHE IS OLDER. They censored the fuck out of FF1 in English.
It's never going to come to US/EU so I don't know why anyone would get hype for this unless you know moonspeak.
I'll learn moon if necessary. I can't take it anymore.
I can into moon. I still need to import a Wii U however.
I'll let you know how it is.
>wonder if the third is really bad as you guys say.
No, 3 is fucking amazing. Third Fatal Frame is mechanics-wise the best game in the series, has the most interesting premise (this time the mansion exists only in your dreams, you move in the dream-mansion at nights and research it in real world during daytime, it's an awesome twist). The biggest flaw in 3 compared to other games in the series is that it's only on PS2, which means long-ass load times and other nuisances.
One can argue that 2 is scarier or 1 is purer in concept, and it's a fair argument, but 3 is extremely good and extremely close to them. And one can also argue that 3 is plain best game in the series.
4 is the "bad" Fatal Frame, and even 4 is pretty good. All FF games rock.
>localized Tomodachi Life
>an American film is being made
>console selling more in America than Japan
>gimmick for game is genuinely great so it'll advertise itself
yes, no chance they'll bring it over
>You stated an alternate model that was used for herself 3 years in the fucking future looked older
No, I stated that the OFFICIAL MODEL FOR MIKU from FF1 looked older. That is the only model for Miku that is canonical, the devs have actually erased the black-haired Japan-only FF1 version from canon (and she didn't just look younger, she looked like a different character). They reused that model in FF3 because they were lazy, not because she has magically not aged a day in three years.
The 3rd game by far the best in the series mechanically and I think the story was just as good as the second game's. FF2 was just really popular when it came out and it's pretty much the only one anybody played outside of original fans. Plus people who played FF3 and hadn't played FF1 wouldn't understand a god damn thing.
Im still pretty mad that it doesnt come to Playstation. Loved the first 3 and managed to play the 4th a bit at my friends.
The saddest part in all this is that i dont know anyone who has Wii U so i cant even leech the game
>The 3rd game by far the best in the series mechanically and I think the story was just as good as the second game's. SH2 was just really popular when it came out and it's pretty much the only one anybody played outside of original fans. Plus people who played SH3 and hadn't played SH1 wouldn't understand a god damn thing.
Not him, just testing, please excuse
3 is the scariest watch out
??????????Wii U???? ??????
Kuon. English dub was fucking horrible.
One weakness 3 has is that it has probably the most confusing story of all FF games. 1 and 2 were pretty straightforward with their plots, but 3 has so many overlapping evil rituals and curses and on top of that references to earlier games that it's bound to leave people feeling lost.
Also I think 3 missed a huge opportunity by tying itself to too tightly to the "numbered linear chapters" format of the previous games. The game had a great setup for a freeroaming horror game - just let the player explore the mansion at his own pace and decide for himself when he wants to wake up. You have the tattoo curse that spreads on your body every time you sleep, so that's your time limit pressing on you, but you also need to wake up to refresh your health and research the photos you took in your dreams, so you have to balance your sleep. It could have been something truly unique.
Instead they took the safe route, and the game is strictly linear despite looking like you can explore. A pity. Still good, but a pity.
It's pretty standard Japanese horror. Feels really similar to Fatal Frame in atmosphere. More like Silent Hill in the combat. Using the knife anyways. You also have magic and prayer.
Wii U needs as much games as it can get. If western publishers are going to continue to shaft Nintendo on third party titles, they should be doing as much as they can to bring in the japanese third party games overseas.
I really didn't like 3 that much. After the halfway point
where you get chased by Reika who keeps fucking divebombing you and killing you in one hit with all that miasma shit everywhere and the candle gimmickit just tedious. Like, it's not even scary, just annoying.
Gameplay is shiet, but it's one of the scariest shit I ever played. Had to stop playing past midnight and only with my roomates around the house.
For the record, every single Fatal Frame / Project Zero game has working mirrors.
>They also can't code for some reason.
Because they're Japanese. Even they can get reflections working though.
Will there be any men this time? They had one in 3 who was a wimp and one in 4, both with long playable roles. The male in 1 doesn't really count since you play him for 5-10 minutes.
I was shocked when I saw a working mirror in FF1 a couple of hours ago. Even though they are all probably that simple mirror image room on the other side of a translucent texture trick, glad to see that they remain in the rest of the series.
What "recent" games have them? I saw one in Doom 3 the other day and that was from 2004.
The candles never bothered me since you could always find more pretty easily. I think I only had it burn out once or twice.
In the end it doesn't matter how they do it, what matters is if it works.
>Playing FF1 & FF2
>All dose girls running around being frail, screams and get scared alot, while wearing girly dress with mini skirt
No, I don't want to help them
I wanna do something immoral to them
Yes and no. If you can't play 1 and 2 easily, 4 is a good place to start. It's pretty much unanimously agreed to be the worst in the series however and plays nothing like 1-3.
Play them in order, mainly because you sort of have to if you want to fully enjoy 3.
Buy or emulate 1. Emulation must be in software mode and then you have the final boss issues which you can look up. Fatal Frame 1 DOES NOT WORK on OPL because it crashes when you pick up the first item. I never tested if you could pick up the item, save, and then transfer the file to the PS2 because that might work and save you the trouble of the final boss problem.
2 is either. 3 is either. Check the PCSX2 wiki for setup, not a big deal for those.
4 is get the patch and emulate or put it on your Wii because lol JP only.
amazon still has 1&2 as a combo for $8 if you want to play them via PSN
I only really suggest it for 1 due to the issues in both emulation and on OPL, unless you don't mind dealing with the slight problem in the final boss (if you fuck up the emulator locks up, so you need to save state). It's a pretty unique game in the regard of it not working properly on either platform, but it might be possible to do what I said and avoid the item crash on OPL. I just never tested it.
I don't think I even have it on my HDD for my PS2 right now, and I really don't feel like setting up my enclosure for one game.
I think he was referring to photographs of Miku and other records from the time period of the first game. His point was that those artifacts have her US altered model, instead of the original JP one. I don't remember if that's true or not, though.
I already spammed for it in their online poll. Every write-in answer was asking for it for North America.
I can hear the strategy meeting now.
>It's too Japanese.
>This doesn't appeal to westerners.
>It's only going to be competitive on the Japanese domestic market.
This is why we will never see another one outside of Japan.
It's pretty damn long.
Guys, it started raining here.
Well to be fair, it doesn't appeal to most westerners, it's not a first person haunted house simulator. Also people have already been complaining that one of the character's boobs are too big. They'd have to be pretty stupid not to bring it over though, especially after the debacle with 4, the shit that was SC and DCB, and Reggie basically lying by saying they don't have the publishing rights.
>having a lot of fun
>jump back to 1 because its been a while since I beat it
>its fucking hard and I dont remember it being that hard
I'm on the sword guy with no life and no healing anything, I'm tempted to restart
>probably some bulldyke lesbian with a rebel attitude who isn't cute at all.
>That whould make it hilariously good.
actually, you are correct that could be fun
The guy directing the American version of Fatal Frame is the guy who made
the Resident Evil movies
A LN explaining the back story behind Miku's brother and the events of FF1.
>Were they any good?
What a foolish question.
It's not actually stand alone, it just introduced a bunch of new characters and setting that have nothing to do with the cast of the previous games. Well, as far as we know.
The guy who made the camera is the person who links 4 to 1, 2, and 3.
Pyramid head fights for justice in the 2nd one. It was fucking incredible.
It's been out of print for a while. Better grab it while you still can.
What's amusing in 4 is one of the doors has a translucent window, but because the doors are pseudo-loading screens there's nothing on the other side of the window until you start to open the door, which is when the other room suddenly pops in to view.
They aren't that vocal, but we generally exist.
I'm a bigger fan of the Silent Hill series, but as a horror fan Fatal Frame is pretty high up there. The creators know what they are doing and the girls always have cute outfits.
That was the moment I started taking everything he says with a heavy mound of salt. Guy is nothing more than a suit and people think he's so legit. Yes I am still mad at the lengths I had to go to play that game.
I often wonder how much Reggie is actually in control of. Obviously since he's NoA and not main Nintendo that limits his shit, but he's used so often as a figurehead for marketing I often just imagine all he does is work on is marketing rather than anything else.
It's the last of the old survival horror games that is still around in a good fashion.
>Really enjoyed RE4
>but I still agree that it ruined the survival horror genre
You don't have to hate the game to see it, after RE4 everyone went full combat crazy. Now we have faggots on /v/ who actually think Dead Space is a horror game.
Let me see if I get this right, you all say the game is perfect for the Wii U because you're gonna point the remote at the TV screen and that would be like looking through the camera?
So you would be using the camera inside the Wii U, wouldn't that be laggy as fuck?
Dead Space is Action-Horror.
A lot of the classic RE game are Horror-Action. The emphasis got flipped in RE4 and then Capcom just went full action for the latter games, which was proven when they officially dropped the horror genre from the box.
> people are saying that outlast is a good horror game
Action horror games are still horror games. They sure as fuck don't fill my survival horror needs, but they're horror nonetheless.
Wouldn't it just be that the typical Fatal Frame screen would just use the controller instead? You wouldn't use both the main screen and the controller in conjunction, just the controller screen while using the camera.
Good job arguing entirely on semantics. The whole point is that everyone makes those action games with light horror elements instead of survival horror games.
>The whole point is that everyone makes those action games with light horror elements instead of survival horror games.
Even action horror is dead at this point. Hell, it's so fucking shit right now people are looking forward to The Evil Within.
The creator of The Evil Within is actually billing it as a survival horror game too.
It's a grim fucking future when everyone thinks Amnesia and Outlast are the scariest games ever.
I hope I don't have to physically spin around in circles to aim at ghosts, that would make my dizzy.
If it's using the gyroscope then maybe they'll have it so when you raise the controller from your lap to your face it'll activate the camera? Nintendo would probably love something like that.
>RE4 ruined horror genre
pls stop. you dont know shit. how can a game ruin a full genre? if something, its Capcom's fault for trying to recreate the success of RE4 was and trying to pander to the western audience at the same time.
and yes RE turned to shit but what about SH? or Clock Tower, or Black Mirror and Alone in the Dark? how did RE4 exactly afected the quality of those series when some of then went to shit before RE4 released?
It's purely because Resident Evil opened up other game creators to make games more like it. Every "action horror" game borrows elements in abundance from RE4, you can't deny that connection.
I hope you just use the screen itself for camera mode and you have the option to use either gyroscope OR the controls like normal.
>Amnesia and Outlast are the scariest games ever
I think the new Alien is inspired in that games, and slender.
Fucking hate RE4, but it whould be good if they still took inspiration from it, instead of this new fad of run and hide.
This girl might actually be qt enough to make me buy a Wii U
The thought that popped in to my head was you would raise it up to activate the camera, but then control it like you would in the PS2 versions. Also, the limited screen space on the gamepad doesn't really matter because even in the older games it was already limited to simulate the camera.
Sometimes you're tracking a ghost and it maneuvers around you in a single direction, so you keep following it and end up turned around. It wouldn't be a sudden 180 degree turn.
>instead of this new fad of run and hide.
That's from Clock Tower, which died off after Haunting Ground. Except in Haunting Ground you could fight back, unlike Amnesia and all the others. I've only played First Fear, 3, and Haunting Ground so I don't know how it works in the other games for fighting back. It was pretty limited in First Fear and 3, but you could throw things and have Hewie attack in Haunting Ground.
Different anon here.
It's not that I think horror game genre is dead.
It's just that if asked to name a good one from the last bunch of years, instead of answering I'd struggle to hold back my tears,
>how can a game ruin a full genre?
Let me explain it to you.
>RE makes a new genre, calls it survival horror
>is extremely successful
>gets many sequels and games inspired by it
>RE starts going to shit with Capcom's attempt to casualize it with each new iteration
>Capcom goes full retard and decides that the Gamecube should be where their last hope for the series ends up
>RE4 becomes the most casual horror game (at the time)
>retards claim it's survival horror and never play the old games
>RE4-inspired games are all that get made
Also really short. If you haven't played it, you should emulate it in Higan.
Then go watch Phenomena.
>HEY GUYS FATAL FRAME IS SCARY BECAUSE THERE ARE GHOSTS
>game doesn't even show skeleton
how the fuck can this game be scary? sorry nintendo, but i am not going to buy your wii u with this shitty horror game
>>is extremely successful
this affects other horror games how?
>>RE4-inspired games are all that get made
ok. you are retarded. maybe you should do a little research instead of just keep saying >RE4 KILLED HORROR GAMES!
here, let me give you a hand. you can find shitload of games post 2005 that play nothing like RE4
I played a translated rom on my wii, with the SNES wii classic controller. Was pretty fun, I did use a walk-through though. Dat soundtrack though, like a japanese version of Halloween's OST.
you have to take into account a shitload of people
>WiiU fans that are somewhat interested in FF
>WiiU fans that want to get into FF to play this
>people that dont own a WiiU but want to get into FF
>people that dont know what FF,is, but got into the thread because curiosity.
>people that just got into the thread because of the qt girl in the OP
I'm not him, but if FF5 is confirmed to be localized, I might actually pick up a Wii U.
I was going to save up to upgrade my PC for witcher 3 but I think I might still do well.
There, there. At least we have one last game before the light goes out forever.
every time with every system
>siren team is alive
>they dont want make more siren
With how hard Kadokawa is pushing this, we're definitely going to be getting more Fatal Frame games. They don't make a movie, a Hollywood movie, a manga and a game just to throw the series away.
>All these people would buy a system over it.
is this franchise that good?
Honestly, Outlast wasn't that bad. Though I do get your point with the recent trend of 1st person no weapon puss out games. Devs need to realize that horror can still be done with weapons.
What do their ingame models have to do with anything?
This is the way they wanted them to be seen but couldn't because graphical power.
>>254582562 This is how they wanted them to look.
>The second one is a good start.
Pixiv certainly loves 2 the most, so much more art compared to the other games. Even one of the ghosts got a lot of art.
Not really. The game is obviously segmented between shootouts and horror sections, but there's later enemies than can scare you out of their sheer power, speed and
If you're easily scared it'll get you.
I like 3 the most as well, but I really hate Kei.
Nintendo is pretty lenient on who publishes what. I'm pretty sure if someone offers to foot the bill they'll just let them like they did with all three of the rainfall trio.
No, anon, they own half the series. you're talking about publishing rights.
There is a reason the last four games were all exclusively on Nintendo consoles and why ALL future games will be.
Nintendo owns half the franchise.
>This is what that anon said.
And they do. That doesn't mean they can't lease it out to other people.
Literally the exact same thing happened with Xenoblade, Pandora's Tower, and The Last Story.
Xenoblade was developed by a nintendo in house Dev and gamestop offered to foot the production bill for exclusive distribution rights.
Pandora's tower and TLS were codeveloped by Nintendo in house devs and published by nitnedo in japan but Xseed in America.
All three are wholly owned by nintendo but they don't have nintendo as a publisher.
>If Nintendo had sold the publishing rights, he would know who would be publishing it.
What. The game isn't even confirmed for a western release.
>Stop defending the fucking asshole.
Are you shitposting?
We're talking about FF4. I guess you just don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Reggie has no say in Nintendo's decision making anymore because Iwata is now NoA's CEO. Have you followed this shit at all? Why are you shitposting?
>We're talking about FF4
Fucking what? I was talking about FF5 since the beginning of the conversation.
Nintendo owns publishing and half the IP. Tecmo owns the other half. They got it in some weird deal with Tecmo.
They published EVERY game since the first wii game. If anyone wants to localize it, it has to go through them.
> Reggie has no say in Nintendo's decision making anymore because Iwata is now NoA's CEO.
Reggie is the head of the Treehouse, AKA nintendo's american branch and localization team.
YOU have no fucking clue what you're talking about.
Certainly the sexiest and tallest, but which is the cutest?
I need to finish all of 4 before I can judge the cuteness of those girls.
>Cute Japanese girls in cute clothing Shot-gun camera the shit out of ghosts.
I fucking love Fatal Frames concept.
for some reasons, i notice that lots of horror titles tend to just fucking skip NA and only released in EU. not just nintendo btw, some britbong on /v/ recommended a couple of horror games before and when i google them it turn out they were never released in NA
Was Siren 2 one of them?
You clearly don't it seems. They localized the game, and pulled it at the last minute, I don't know what you want from me.
There is a game, just that it's broken and they never bothered to sell it.
The "ed" at the end makes it past tense, anon. He would be right assuming he said they were "publishING" it assuming it was never officially canceled. The game was never publishED.
But they prepared and created the localization they just didn't ship the physical discs.
>h-how did you know
Because I'm an American who really likes Siren and is unhappy about the lack of that one getting released.
And about the lack of Fatal Frame releases for that matter.
There must always be a sacrifice.
If fatal frame 5 isn't localised I will turn reggies face into a toilet bowl of blood.
The book explains it better. It's a shame it'll see an English release.
It still hurts. It hurts so bad. I wanted Miku and Mafuyu to go on together. I'm sure there is a good reason, but god damn it still sucks
>nobody on /v/ has played Fatal Frame before except me and five other people who post in these threads
>it's mostly just WOW SHE'S QT ARE THESE GAMES SCARY
Anyone feel like the only reason why there are so many ghosts in Fatal Frame is that either they died virgins when they were still living or didn't get the D enough?
Seriously, there needs to be a Ghost Rance game where you use your holy penis to get ghosts to climax back to the afterlife.
