OH SHIT, MONSTER HUNTER THREAD JUST SPOTTED YOU
Which armor set will get me the closest to looking like Space Sheriff Gavan? I want to do this because fanboy reasons.
Is sleep bombing (and general bombing strats) still viable on high rank quests?
I just got a uragaan X set and im planning to use bombs more often, seeing that they are really good for breaking parts.
First for guy who's never played monster huntor.
I'll never have a Monster Hunter figure. Chances are I'd have to pay scalper prices for one by now.
>Argosy captain gives me a LS as a hammer user
>Stats wise it beats everything I have in hammers
>Discover how LSes play underwater
>High rank Qurupecos and limited options to control them
That sucks, anon. I have both of these and they're pretty fucking sweet.
>Brother is still way before Ceadus
>Try to help him capture Lagi since everytime we play he gets carted a few times average and I don't
>He uses LS
>Lagi won't get out of the water
Fucking hell no wonder he's struggling
>looking at Revoltech stuff
>all MH stuff sold out
THAT Woodyis on re-release for ¥2,700
Nothing special, but still cute bear.
he's silly but is kind of there, forgettable
nothing really makes him special, he dies in a flash and isn't a threat
SA, GS, and Hammer main reporting in
I'd like to learn HH to support bros once 4U comes but I don't really know shit about it
Same, I want to pick up HH for when me and my brother do some serious high ranks together but it looks like it's extremely weapon specific what decent note combos you can do, and just upgrading down the weapon path can be a bad idea. So I have no idea where to start.
>Gunlance is best weapon class
The trick to getting distance with the hammer is to use the second charged state. It lets you go long way in whatever direction you want and can chain directly into a triple pound. Once you learn how to do this you'll be able to move anywhere you want with little repercussion.
A charming monster that's somewhat forgettable and forgotten. If only his gear wasn't absolute ass.
Superpound has plenty of range, what are you talking about? The only move that doesn't have good range is the triple pound, and you only really do that when the monster's down.
Im about to get fucked by this fucking faggot
I pretty much always play a male in multiplayer games.
I actually came to the decision to do that because it was so weird for me playing a HH user in cheerleader crab armor while my little brother was a football player in FU.
Now I've been playing this gangster.
I miss admiring my qt hunter and playing dress up
Actually, here's a better shot of his pompadour action.
Best bros. I really don't want to go back to felynes.
Hug? Compliments? Nigga you don't wanna plow your P into her V son?
>MonHun thread on my birthday
Solo Gunlancer here, couldn't be happier. I've decided to take on my first Green Plesioth to celebrate, wish me luck, /v/!
>mfw G-Rank and still using HR gear
Gunlance/hammer alternating master race.
There are no better choices.
except for the incoming spear.
How bad is this fucker? At first regular Jho scared the shit out of me in HR but after one or two kills it turns out he wasn't that tough after all.
>King Shakalaka fight
>it's actually two Kings
>they're super fucking hardcore and have lots of synergy attacks
>you get a Guild Card Trophy for beating them
>it's broken shards of Cha-Cha and Kayamba's masks
Please anon, no. I already saw this post the other night and it broke my heart.
Faster and stronger Deviljho. If this isn't rape made flesh, I don't know what it is.
If you happen to use a SnS, you may want to keep the Shakalaka home : hitting his pickle legs with it is already annoying enough without him flailing all across the zone.
FUCKING HELL, MY HEART. STOP IT, YOU ASSHOLE
I want these to be real so bad now
I suppose I'm fucked. For the record, I tend to roll hammer, GS, DS, or SA.
The only thing that gets me about regular Jho is the tail sweeps since his ass is so fucking big, but Savage might be different. Poison duals could work, I don't wanna cheese it with my slime blades.
God damn, I am glad all my favorite have ways to bypass tough hides.
BEST WEAPON IS
anything you like
CANT WAIT TO WASTE 2 YEARS OF MY LIFE WITH MH4U
I don't want to leave them. Capcom, don't make me leave them, please.
You can customize your felynes
I would be absolutely shocked if there wasn't kayamba and cha-cha masks and armor for them to wear
of course you would put them in glorious kayamba outfits because he is the greatest and brings home the heavenlies while cha-cha just brings home dung
Bow is cool beans anon. You should try it sometimes.
what you should be doing is playing with all the weapons and using the ones you like
if you stick with one weapon type you're really limiting yourself
especially cause SnS is kind of dicks, it got nerfed into the ground in 2nd gen and never really recovered
Lagi is painful to fight at with SnS because he moves so fucking much and underwater is a pain in the ass to deal with him. If you are having too much problems, get a hammer and gunlance and turn him into sushi.
As long as the cats get a mock melinx ability I won't miss the shakas.
That mask as gotten me 3 narga mantles, a deviljho crook and a bunch of rare7 materials I needed for certain upgrades.
Just began playing monster hunter with Freedom unite on PSP, I am really enjoying it, I hate the fact that enemies run away when they reach a lower health since it just prolongs the battle needlessly but otherwise it's fun.
Are skills important in the game? I have pretty much been ignoring armor and just focusing on getting shiny on new weapons plus trying out all the different weapons.
>Monsters running away
Thats why you always carry Flash Bombs and the second you see a monster limping trying to get away you flash his ass and set up a trap and capture the faggot. It decreases hunt time by a lot by doing this as you dont have to use another 3 minutes chasing him and killing his limping ass.
>fell in love with SA
>made as many as I can for variety's sake
>need G-rank barioth parts to upgrade
>full-on Wroggi armor handicap
>Barioth starts limping away after a while
fucking Deviljho rams me from behind
I JUST WANTED A NEW WEAPON
I've tried out every weapon but the regular lance now and I just like the sword and shield more, nothing else really clicked for me. First time I tried the Barroth I used the hammer and got my ass kicked, when I came back with SnS I did it easy. I feel like I'm doing it wrong but I've not really had any problems yet.
I want some sweet Monster Hunter swag. Wish the good stuff wasn't so expensive, though.
I have used Light Bowgun almos exclusively since MH3 on the Wii
my first mon hun
The only faggot who has given me problems is the Nibelsnarf.
I wanted to go blademaster to broaden my horizons but fuck grinding all over again.
WiiU bros where we at. How is that sorrow knowing that there will be no MH4 on the U.
So i'm getting a wiiu on friday and i'm a xXlonehuntahXx from the 3ds. Any tips on playing with others?
I'd have to save for any really great stuff. On a lighter note, this looks adorable and cuddly.
Literally the only reason I bought a WiiU was for mangsters
Remember, it's their fault if some asshole decides to stand right where your weapon is going to hit. Don't let anyone give you shit for that, and call them names if they try to.
>Love Monster hunter since PSP
>Get a job
>See Monster Hunter for WiiU with online and shit
>Buy it and enjoy it
>Not available for WiiU
What the fuck is that shit. What kind of company does this kind of shit. Cant they fucking relase 2 versions like 3U? What the fuck is wrong with them.
The Revoltechs are great if you can figure out how to pose them.
Is there even a point to Bounce Bombs? Why do they keep appearing in every game? Hitting Khezu and whats-his-face when they are on the roof? Does jack shit, maybe once in a blue moon will you knock them down.
I actually have those, I love them a lot. It's just that I got them forever ago and I'm craving more MH merch.
I don't even want to think about playing monster hunter on my 3ds, I tolerated it on the psp but playing it with an actual controller feels MUCH better. I'm afraid my 3ds will snap in half or something.
It's really not that bad
sure a controller is leagues better, but the 3ds is much, much better than the psp for controlling
you've got the L lock on and the virtual d-pad if you don't have the analog stick attachment
it ain't perfect, but it's no hellhole either
For some reason Kayamba didn't carry anything else but shit for me and Cha-Cha brought me items that I desperately needed.
But motherfucking Kayamba has done the finishing lbow to monsters multiple times when I've been healing.
I still can't understand how they fucked it up that bad. Would 5 minutes of playtesting tell you that moving the camera with the D-pad is utter shit?
I did really like the camera center function on the 3DS version of 3U. A single tap to turn the camera towards the monster. Incredibly handy.
But yes, Portable 3rd was amazing. All the good things from Tri but without the underwater crap.
>mfw I learned this after putting 600 hours into the game
>want to side slide
>Character swims up instead
>mfw joining a 4 point arken room by accident
>mfw they let me stay without the arken set
it would be like a cat that eventually kills you and your family
monster trainer game when?
HH is only superior to hammer on like 2 monsters: Brachy and Plessy.
Not because it's stronger, but because it has more reach. Hammer leaves HH in the dust in basically any other fight.
this, pretty much. i don't know why everyone sucks the HH's dick. yeah, it might be okay in groups, but any buffs that it gives can just be given by regular items, and those buffs don't make up for its shit damage. you're much better off replacing the HH user with something like a heavy bow gun or something that actually does damage. i just don't get why people dickride it.
I say P3rd.
Tri is also a pretty good options for beginners, because it sort of has a tutorial dealy and let's you roam the forest freely. Monhun can be kind of confusing at first, and Tri does a really good job of making it not confusing.
I'd prefer newcomers to have a first impression of the series that doesn't involve awful hitboxes, shitty monster animations, shitty monster models, and samey combat.
Soloing p3rd will be enough of a challenge for a newcomer, anyway.
Polished game with less content or huge turd with lots of content (that's mostly just the same monsters repeated over and over but labeled "new").
>Polished game with less content or huge turd with lots of content (that's mostly just the same monsters repeated over and over but labeled "new").
I can't wait for 4U to come out so that FU can finally be completely obsolete. Not to say I didn't like the game but people need to take it off that pedestal already.
I just want boxing glove weapons in my Monster Hunter.
>there will never be a gauntlet/knuckle/fist type weapon that will let you punch the shit out of monsters
Feels bad, man.
If you say tonfas, i will fucking cut you
PPSSPP has pretty good support for regular dinput controllers. As long as you have something with dual analogs and enough buttons, you should be fine. You could even get by with one analog if you were willing to claw.
There's a japanese only event weapon in 4 that gives you giant fist dual swords. I think it's from an anime or something.
Also the Gore dual swords are hands with claws but I guess that's not the same, huh?
Sorry man, I got them a very long time ago and in that time I've long since forgotten. Not yurop either, I'm clapistan. Sorry I wasn't able to help, those figures have long since officially sold out and most of the ones available are overpriced as hell.
It's long sold out and the quality is kinda poor anyway.
The rathalos is notorious for having a really fucked up paint job on the eyes, and the hunter's spikes can come bent and warped.
If you want mh merch, I'd recommend buying scale figures instead of poseable ones, as the revoltechs are kinda shit.
You can find shirts, figure packs, mugs, stickers, and tons of other cool mh shit.
Why would anyone pay money for 3U when P3rd exists and is easily playable for free in 1080p? The only reason 3U has a significantly larger monster roster is because of the shitty underwater fights.
>the incredibly stupid choice of platforms
Here is the emulator
Here is the game
The emulator is extremely user friendly and easy to use, you shouldn't need to change any settings other than setting up your controller and choosing the resolution.
No problem. As long as your PC isn't a total toaster you should be able to play at any resolution you want, PPSSPP runs amazingly well on weak hardware. Also note that that copy of Monster Hunter P3rd is fan-translated because the game was only released in Japan.
this makes me real sad
he was happy, look at the joy in his eyes making his drawings
look how proud he is of his achievement
and now that he compares himself to other he realizes how shit he is at drawing and all the joy is gone
It would have just repeated DS, PSP (except even less on PSP because modded PSP is still leagues ahead of vanilla PSV) era. 3DS was bound to sell millions once animal crossing new leaf came.
We'll never know but the point is it's not on Vita and it likely never will be so there's no use bitching about it, especially when 3DS already has a shitload of other great games so people don't have to buy a 3DS just to hunt. And if they do feel that way then it's their fucking loss.
Had it been on the vita it would've lowered price already
>You failed to rout the dragon...
>Deviljho kicks my arse so I abandon to restart
>Farcaster to camp
>AFK for 50
Two quests I've had to look up the wiki for then, any other problematic ones to be aware of in advance?
How are you supposed to know to break Ceadus' beard to complete half of that quest, and kill at least two Qurupeco to finish the latter?
I'd love Plesioth if you know what I mean huhuhuhuhu
You don't have to aim specifically for his beard. You could be wailing on his back and the beard will just magically break when you reach a certain damage threshold.
If Deviljho is really an issue in Peeko quests, unless you're in an arena, dung bombing him and running around avoiding hits will eventually make him leave.
I wish I had the money to cosplay this sort of shit.
Yeah, nah. It does plenty of damage. In addition to striking more quickly and having better reach and movement speed(and thus more opportunities to strike), each hit does 30-something percent, 45 in the case of the backlift and super pound's slamming strike. Literally the only moves that do less than 30 damage are the stab and a couple of recitals, and even then other recitals do major damage as well, especially the encores.
The hammer on the other hand has to go 42-20 before it can hit that 90 and has a balls long recovery afterward. Yes, the sheer damage output in terms of pure DPS standing beating on a weak point is better, but not so much so that it's going to yield anything more than a 1-2 minute hunting difference at the skill/performance ceiling.
You are vastly underestimating a capable Hunting Horn user's potential.
I'd be lying if I didn't say I kind of liked it and it definitely has its own charm but I can not for the life of me figure out why the fucking moonlanders love it so.
If you have 3DS, get 3 Ultimate. It won't go online, but it's portable and hunts typically can range between 15-30 minutes depending on skill and gear, making it well-suited for quick plays during breaks or commutes.
4 Ultimate will be coming out early next year.
It's quirky. I'll give it that. But its charm is rooted firmly in the territory of babies, in that people react to them and find them endearing in very similar ways as other people would to a baby.
I very much dislike babies, so I also very much dislike YKK. I have to wonder if some people like it because other people like it, as if it's become a meme.
Granted, it requires actual input to do.
Fun fact: Archdemon mode actually outdoes Demon Mode DPS-wise if you perform a certain combo. Demon Mode, however, has a 50% chance to not consume sharpness, and of course is useful for recharging Demon Mode.
I'm actually a huge sucker for babies and small children in general. I find them endearing and in spite of what any other people may think of me they are actually very nice and playful to me in turn.
I still don't fucking get the YKK love. I guess it's just a Japanese thing or it is indeed a meme.
Small children, sure, as long as they're well-behaved they're kinda cute and you just wanna be the kinda person that gets that beaming smile when you say you'll take them to get an ice cream float. But when you get the super willful ones that just get loud and obnoxious whenever you try to show them what they did wrong or remind them of something, they're worth more ire than love.
Babies though are just... I don't get it.
Look at this casual. I play MH whenever the fuck I want. Most people I know who see it couldn't be more normalfag and they still think it looks interesting. Who doesn't love beating the shit out of giant monsters?
>tfw when i just fought my first blind Brachydios
Holyshit the fight was intense i had no idea what were his moves or what the slime green thing did and carted once and fought for 45 fucking minutes and at the last 5 minutes ran out of potions and had to rely on chacha to heal me out and i couldnt be happier when the faggot started limping.
10/10 battle, will farm for those delicious weapons now.
Oh hell no, I don't take shit from little bastards like that. Kids are more cooperative with me than they are with most others but I've still come across little shitters. A good kick in the ass usually sets them straight, I've had little trouble. As for babies, well, what can I say? They're tiny, cute little people who know nothing, can barely communicate, and are innocent and pure. Granted, innocence and purity aren't necessarily good things but that's why parenting exists. I just simply enjoy their company, holding them and hearing them coo and shit. Fuck, I sound like a woman.
Wait, weren't we talking about a bird or something?
Not to mention waking up in the middle of the night and changing their diapers. A year or two if you're unlucky of having to deal with their shit - literally.
I think most people are fond of babies because they haven't had to deal with one 24/7.
I don't mind, to be honest. I like the unique ones we've got.
However, what I would love to see is some kind of Limiter Removal for the Switch Axe that locks it out of sword mode or something but boosts Axe Mode tremendously, or otherwise drastically changes how Sword Mode works by giving it the properties of both Element and Power Phials, but making phial continuously drain as well as giving Axe Mode access to some phial-enhanced attacks.
I made G-Rank Peco armor because I main Hunting Horn. I felt confident fighting the pink bitch because of my wind resist and lightning damage, but
>GIANT SCREEN-SHATTERING FIRE BLAST ON THE GROUND
I have G rank Wroggi. I almost fought her once while fighting Crimson Quru. I was foolish and tried to see if I could take her. When I saw my entire health bar disappear despite all the armor upgrades I decide to dung bomb and bail. That shit ain't right.
Obstacles exist for a reason. I'm just gonna have to get better armor and upgrade my weapons before tackling her again. The day I triumph over G rank Pink Rathian is the day I laugh at the heavens.
Rathalos Mantle is the worst item you could have picked for your example. A Los Mantle can only be carved from the tail so it's almost always better to cap.
It's also easier to get the skills that facilitate capturing and increase capture rewards.
Deviljho Crook is the only item I can think of where it's better to carve for than capture.
You get two or rarely three capture rewards.
You get three carves, four for certain bulky monsters.
It really depends on what items you need and what monster you're hunting. With the first level of the Tranquilizer skill it guarantees three. With the second level, it guarantees three and rarely gives a fourth.
General rule of thumb is that rare items like gems have a better sum chance from two capture rewards, while common or uncommon items have a better sum chance from carving rewards.
Also many monsters can yield tail rewards from captures, which can help if you're maining an impact or ranged weapon, although hunting in groups would probably help more.
zinogre a shit
pic related: it's best monster
They're both great, tho. Especially as babies.
It doesn't really "lose its effectiveness" so much that it becomes "less ridiculously 2stronk".
In the early ranks it is ridiculously fucking strong. It just tapers off to "Yes. This is good." at G-Rank.
That said, 4U will introduce a third level of the Artillery skill that gives 1.3x to shelling and an 80 second WF cooldown, yet even now you can find primarily-shelling runs in 3U.
If you really want Shelling to be all that it can be, run Artillery Expert and Load Up with a Spread gunlance. Just don't try taking it online.
It adds one shell per type. That brings Spread to 3, Long to 4, and Normal to 6 (which has the effect of also giving Full Burst a 1.2x damage boost on top of the 1.1x damage boost on top of whatever your Artillery skills are already giving each shell.)
Not really. It's got better damage per hit in sword mode, and better reach, but it doesn't strike as quickly, isn't as nimble, and blocking reduces sharpness.
Meanwhile Sword and Shield has gotten several buffs. The X+A leap (and by extension the unsheath attack) was replaced with a running cut, but you can now back hop and then leap forward during any point in a combo. You can hold the leap to charge it for extra damage, combo from the leaping strike, or cancel the leap and combo from the backhop. Additionally, I'm pretty sure SnS is pretty much the only weapon that can perform rising jump attacks by going UP small ledges.
Would you play a properly made monster hunter clone that brought all of the series strong points to a new setting and with enough different things to feel fresh but still familiar?
Or do you only trust Capcom for your monster hunting needs?
Wow, that's the first time I've been complemented on my taste in monsters. Thanks.
Only if it was futuristic. Lost Planet almost caught all of those good vibes, but they turned it into a normal shooter instead. If it was turned into an RPG with almost identical gameplay (although many elements of course modified to feel more MH-ish), I would have a seizure trying to decide which I enjoyed more.
In terms of fantasy monster hunting, MH does everything right enough that I don't really feel like I'd enjoy a truly perfect clone as much otherwise.
Unless it was a crossover. You would have to restrain me in an iron maiden to prevent me from playing SMT: Monster Hunter, Pokemonster Hunter, Digimonster Hunter, or Megaman: Maverick Hunter
I want to suck the cocks of every peron in that dev studio. The only way they could possibly make me happier is if they brought over licensed gear.
>mf after farming Dios to make Dios Axe+ and literally making every high rank monster my bitch.
Feels so good. Dios weapons are Op as fuck.
Some low rank armours have them, too.
Not terribly, actually. They've got great raw and sharpness, but Blast is almost completely a sidegrade to poison, multiplayer aside. It depends on which monster you're using it on for it to be truly effective.
If you could have one monster who'd bro out with you
HTTYD stylewhich would you want?
I can't get that fucking Dios Jewel anon and it really pisses me off.
I admit i haven't made a good poison weapon yet, are they really effective? I used the rathian switch axe for a while and the poison didn't seem too great.
Yeah I was pretty surprised too.
Again, depends on the monster. Duramboros, Deviljho, Zinogre, Plesioth, and many other monsters are considerably weak to poison. But you'll find that poison weapons typically have raw and sharpness to rival slime weapons.
With the way slime works I assume the greatsword is terrible.
Faster weapons=faster slime build up=more explosions.
So dual swords would be great, fast slime build up and dios weapons have high raw and sharpness. I'm only guessing though.
>MFW I get super rare drop on 1st try from monster I don't give a shit about
you guys think there will be enough large monsters one day to sustain a spin-off where you tame monsters?
I'm talking chair and whip kind of taming, not pokeball brainwash kind taming
It's super fluffy and I like being cold
>First HR Rathian
>Ruby and Plate
>5 more HR Rathians
>4 Plates 1 Ruby
But a medulla?? WHAT THE FUCK IS A MEDULLA. NO NIGGER YOU AINT GETTING ANY MEDULLAS GO FUCK YOURSELF.
Go fuck yourself rng
TFW: Medulas are more common than Ruby and plates, and you cant get any
>Pink Rathian is my first G Rank monster
>Decide it's time to make my first G Rank gunner armor
>Choose Pink Rathian
>Read several horror stories about getting mantle
>Get it as a quest reward after capturing it once
I still haven't gotten my Brachydios Gem. Fuck you.
>Fighting Brachy for the first time
>He carts me twice
>Feeling very, very disheartened, he isn't limping or anything from what I had seen
>All out of potions because I forgot ALL of my mega potions like a dumbasss
>He swings at me
>Suddenly dies out of nowhere
>Cha Cha and Kayamba are both toast
>Realize that there was a tiny slime explosion right before he died
>He killed himself
>Gave me two Brachy Gems
I feel like he stole victory from me.
There's an okay amount. It's unlikely, but I kinda want a tokyo jungle esque spinoff someday where you control monsters instead.
Sometimes i wish they didnt force you to eat a cumbucket of rng to make some armos and let you craft the super rare items by using a considerable amoun or regular drops from a monster like say.
You need 20 Rath shellls 20 webbings 5 tails and 2 carapaces to make the fucking Ruby. if you have all that shit and no ruby then you fucking deserve the fucking ruby.
better than having 40 webbings sitting because the fucking midget cant make the fucking armor because for some fucking reason he needs a fucking small as shit gem or the armor is fucking ruined
Greatswords have absolutely monstrous element and status values. Along with the fact that your standard Lv.3 charge attack boosts this by a literal 200 fucking percent, and the Smash Charge by 300%, you're looking at some not too shabby status infliction if it does hit.
I mean, nowhere near SnS/Dual Blades levels, but still.
Why not baby monsters that you raise on various meats and monster parts?
Different items that you feed them give them different stats, and when they have "grown" enough, they will evolve into a slightly larger version of the monster, so on and so forth until they are generally about the size of horses, and it's assumed that is the "Max" size that they get to. They replace the roles of Felynes by being assigned various roles that you can train them in by feeding them items.
>Give them shitloads of Qurupeco parts
>They learn singing and dancing which gives you buffs
>Feed them a boatload of toadstools and parashrooms
>Develop Poison Attack and Stun Attack, with an inclination to gather a bunch as well
>Feed them numerous Jho parts
>They become ravenous and eat corpses, but at the same time will basically feed themselves as you fight along
>Go grind on low level lagi with newbie friend.
>He gets rekt# (dat low lighting res)
>I get all the kills
>After each hunt I get all the Horns, shell shockers and claws
>He gets shit
I kinda felt bad for him
>Hating on gunner
Why? Usually people show respect towards gunners. You're probably the first person I've seen diss them.
No see this is how my game works. Those all those gems and plates? I get them all within 5 hunts or less. Mundane shit like horns or even claws? Takes almost 10 or more.
Everyone at my college bashes every gunner (So I kind of tagged along like the autistic dick I am) and also made the long swurd nub thing which I hated (but hell, switch axe is fun)
I would be down for this idea, but only if they grew up into an adult size. It would make the game easy mode which would kind of blow but I'd love to have a full size zinogre whomp monsters with me.
I just want to bro it up with a monster on a hunt. Is that so much to ask?
Switch Axe bro here trying to branch out to other weapons.
>Jesus fuck there's no cohesion to these attack chains, but I don't want to be one of "those" HH users that casts buffs a mile away from the group.
>Did I secretly fill my armor with superglue? Yes I know funlance is amazing, I'm just not used to going this slow.
>How do I shot gun? By the time I can zoom and aim my attack window is gone.
>Looks simple, but getting the most out of it feels like doing calculus. Between arc shots, shot types, coatings, it almost feels more complex than bowguns.
HH is pretty simple actually.
All combos go 1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2
When you throw out an attack, every single time it will remember which number you are on and hit correspondingly.
To practice, just use each "note" about four times to figure out exactly which attacks will be thrown out next. Memorize exactly how you want to combo.
Most of your HH time should be spent simply whacking the monster, but always set up with your double-White, whatever Tremor Res/Wind Res/Stamina Drain Deleted will be helpful for that fight in particular. Then you combo away until about a minute passes. Then re-apply your necessary buffs. Rinse and repeat.
I'm definitely not old. I was a Tri babby but that didn't go so well. Barely got past Barroth back then. Gotten much father in 3U but my folder is very new and lacking.
That's silly, there's no way I could be addicted to cute babbies.
Should i start 4 again, play my high rank character on 3U, or try and continue in my HR character in 4.
I really should finish 4 before 4U comes out so i can start fresh when 4U comes out.
>Hunting Zinogres with bros for jaspers
>Usually use DS but decide to use GS for shits and giggles
>Haven't used GS much prior, get my shit kicked in because I'm a scrub
>Zinogre about to land final blow
>An Arzuros comes out of nowhere and cancels the Zinogre's attack frame
>Then he proceeds to get the fuck of out the area like nothing happened
>I got my final jasper for completing my armor set
And that's how the Arzuros became one of my favorite monsters of the game.
