Did it get censored?
Whats the difference between the PS3, PS4, and Vita versions if anything?
I picked it up on Vita but fucking love it. I am considering getting it on PS4 now.
My only complaint is how le epicly meem'd on the translation is.
Fuck if I know. There are a LOT of memes in this game though. I will snap a few more screens when I see them.
Its kinda forgivable, as its a bunch of tech savvy kids, but its still kinda cringey.
It's supposed to be cringy - these are all 2chan/2ch users who spout memes as much as reddit, 9gag, and 4chan put together. It's satire of them SPECIFICALLY, not just 'tech savvy' people.
I think I remember hearing something about having to remove certain ads in-game for licensing issues but I really doubt they censored anything that wasn't already censored in the original release in any case. This is Xseed after all, they've recently made a name for themselves by not cowtowing to SJWs.
That's retarded. They should put shit nobody would understand or completely remove content? Great plan, kill yourself along with that faggot SJW whining about how it's offensive to transgenders and needs to be censored.
>So it's definitely a out of place meme translation
The little sister character, Nana, calls you "Niinii" throughout the game, and we went back and forth a lot on how to translate this. For those who haven't heard the term Niinii before, it's based on Oniichan or Oniisan, the word for "big brother." So it's kinda like "Brobro." Problem is, "Brobro" sounds a little obnoxious in English! In addition, "big brother" sounds a little overly formal, just "brother" sounds kind of awkward, and "bro" doesn't have the same cutesiness factor as Niinii.
So we looked at Nana herself, and tried to figure out what kind of character she was. Unlike, say, Yuka from Corpse Party (who uses "oniichan" every other word because she's completely dependent on/obsessed with her brother), or Satoko from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (who also uses "niinii" because she, too, is pretty much dependent on/obsessed with her brother), Nana is more just... a really weird kid. ;) She's neither dependent on nor obsessed with Nanashi, but rather puts on airs to that effect because -- after all -- she is the little sister character, and that's what little sister characters are supposed to do.
Basically, Nana is a self-aware anime trope. She recognizes Nanashi as the main character of... something... and herself as the "adorable little sister" figure. Which makes sense, because Nana also happens to be a shut-in anime-obsessed otaku. Anime and games are her life, and the real world is scary to her.
So ultimately... we decided she'd call Nanashi "Brotag" in the English. Like, short for "brotagonist." Because it's cute, it's indicative of her personality, and it gets across the same basic feel as "niinii" in the Japanese without any of the unwanted "oh GOD, not another moeblob character!" affectations.
I know. Its just everywhere in this game. But as some anons have pointed out, myself included, it is kind of ok since these are 2channers in the game... But it still feels kinda weird. Just like when someone says memes in real life...
Well shes calling him nii-nii affectionately.
I can understand your disdain for the way they translated it but its quite quirkly in its own way since shes calling you all these puns out of affection being a maymay spouting 2channer and all
They did use 2chan shit - you can change the language of the text to Japanese whenever you please. You're arguing that they should have used the 2chan shit - well the 2chan shit is in Japanese and stuff only Japanese would get, so it'd make no sense to translate it - it'd be like translating "sushi" after all.
Nii-Nii is basically Brother-Brother. Or Bro-Bro. Or something like that. Anyway, Japanese is a pretty simple language, they rely on honorifics for people's names pretty fucking hard. Watch, say, Yakuza 4's cutscenes. A character will refer to Kazuma Kiryu as Kiryu-chan. How do you translate that? Well, -chan is basically a term of endearment. So what they went with (from the example I'm remembering off the top of my head anyway) is "Kazzy."
Nii-Nii could mean all sorts of shit, and naturally they go for all sorts of shit in this game's localization. In any case it's almost always a sign of affection.
Nii-nii is factually a "made up word" as well, just as much as protagonist. Please, feel free to find the Japanese dictionary entry showcasing ???~??? as a real thing.
It's a completely incorrect use of the langauge and made up shit that isn't even used in REAL LIFE in Japan - it's only used in anime and also by otaku. I'm sorry you believe the way people speak in your cartoons is how Japanese people actually do. Nii-nii is a total bullshit otaku meme of what they wish their little sisters called them, it's not what anyone actually says in real life and is not a 'real word' more than 'brotagonist' on any level.
If they used 2chan jokes, most English-speaking players wouldn't get it. That's how you translate jokes: replace stupid Japanese pop-culture references with stupid US pop-culture references. Think Phoenix Wright.
>Hear unmistakable theme music
10/10 quality post. U wished we get to see more post like this.
>Le fedora tipper
Seems about right.
MAKES SENSE THAT THE LANGUAGE PEOPLE ARE SPEAKING IN JAPAN IS ENGLISH - EVEN IF ONLY IN TEXT
MAKES SENSE THAT IT SAYS 'PUSH SQUARE' IN A VIDEO GAME XDDD
Fucking kill yourself.
It's just copypasted from an interview with them... they do that stuff a fair bit, and they know what they're doing. Xseed put a lot of thought and discussion into all of their decisions.
Sama: lord/lady/whatever seem appropriate
Domo: titles or respectful prefixes if appropriate, otherwise, drop it
San: Mr/Ms/Mrs if it seems appropriate, otherwise, drop it
Chan/Kun: Nickname if it fits the character that's speaking. Otherwise, drop it.
I agree with Japanese audio tracks, where you can clearly hear that the characters aren't speaking in English, or with no audio, where you imagine the character speaking in Japanese. With English audio tracks, though, you really need to have them be speaking natural English. Japanese honorifics don't belong in English. The only Japanese that I'd allow there are common anime lingo that aren't proper Japanese, like tsundere or moe, and maybe as a part of a joke a time or two.
ITT: Butt-blasted weeaboos.
If you want non localized jokes go learn japanese and import the game, and then laugh awkwardly at jokes that make no sense to your dumbass because you're not a japanese native.
>"Brobro" sounds a little obnoxious in English!
And "brotagonist" doesn't? Translate it as "bro" or "brother" and convey her personality through the rest of her speech. Making up words is not good translation nor good localization.
>making up words
But they did that in Japanese already. Nii-nii is not a word, nor something Japanese people actually say in real life.
"Brotagonist" is used by 4chan types all the time for years now (hell, look at any thread for a persona game over the past 5 years), and "nii-nii" is only used by male otaku and anime character.
It's very much a legitimate equivalent.
>Nii-nii is factually a "made up word" as well, just as much as protagonist.
No it isn't. I'm not going to get into an argument over whether people actually use it in real life, but the fact of the matter is that whether or not it's used in real life, people know it, and it isn't a made up pun that the writers pulled out of their ass for this specific game. "Brotagonist" isn't recognized out of memory, it's recognized because you put two and two together and realize that it's a word play on "brother" and "protagonist".
"Brotagonist" is obscure as fuck. The Persona fanbase is pretty much the only group that uses it. "Nii-nii" is simple and straightforward, and is instantly understood by anyone.
You lose a lot in the transition between English and Japanese, period. The two languages are opposites of each other in many regards, both culturally and grammatically. Japanese honorific suffixes are one of those many things that you can't accurately replicate in English.
Same with referring to someone that you look up to as "onii-[whatever]", "onee-[whatever]", "aniki", or "aneki". Usually, we don't have a neat-sounding replacement term in English.
With dubs, it's best to always favor natural-sounding English, so in cases like these, you should just let the tone and context do the talking.
Except for fucking Americans who play the game. If I saw brotagonist, it may or may not get a chuckle depending on my mood. If I see nii-nii, I'm going to think it's fucking retarded.
Xseed posts here
Xseed reads our posts
Xseed knows we like Persona
Xseed up it in there for us
They did it for YOU Billy ALL FOR YOU BILLY
Its a fucking translation, what do you want? them to translated the game in romanji and ship it like that, with a little note saying hope yuu raike it?
fuck off, if you are translating a joke that cant be literally translated without loosing its humor you find a similar joke on the target language
So no one knows if EU version is going to be censored? fuck why isn't XSeed handling it like with USA? at least i could be doubt free then.
Is it bad I kinda keep hoping all these faggots are the main party even if it does make zero sense?
I know I said this in a thread yesterday but these twitter convos keep reminding me of durarara and the slow realization that everybody in the chat was a main cast member was some great shit when I caught onto it.
>it may or may not get a chuckle depending on my mood
See? That's the thing. "Brotagonist" is a joke. It's supposed to be humorous. "Nii-nii" is not supposed to be humorous. It's supposed to be cute and playful. It's not a hamfisted pun.
>If I see nii-nii, I'm going to think it's fucking retarded.
I guess I should have clarified I was talking about Japanese people seeing "nii-nii".
I got Sen no Kiseki and Mind=Zero too.
Keep seeing Disgaea 4 as well.
>Whats the difference between the PS3, PS4, and Vita versions if anything?
I want to know this too. The budget for this game was probably 10 yen and some noodles, so the graphics probably suck. Should I buy it on the PS3, or are the textures/models/etc so bad I should pick it up on the Vita where it won't offend my eyes too much because of the smaller screen?
>Brotagonist isn't simple, straightforward, and understood by anyone
First off, this GAME is obscure as fuck and for an obscure as fuck audience in the first place.
Secondly, if you know basic fucking English you can figure out "bro" and "protagonist" are being put together and you'd know the meaning of both. That's pretty goddamn simple and easy to understand.
Or, what, is "fireman" hard for you too? I mean, fire AND man? The fuck does that mean? Is it a flaming person?
>Japanese person calling another japanese person a weeb
Huh? I was telling him he's an idiot for bitching about those things. I was parodying his stupid posts in the two very obvious massive gigantic caps locked lines that were also in a post with his post being replied to.
Are you legitimately retarded? Did you just misreply?
Thanks for replying bro's at least i have hope now and worst comes to worst i can always just import.
>I guess I should have clarified I was talking about Japanese people seeing "nii-nii".
Japanese people don't say nii-nii though. It's purely an anime thing, not something anyone says in real life in any situation aside quoting anime.
stealth marketing is actually a 2ch meme, and that one was transliterated, its just that we have similar memes
IIRC in japanese is SuteMa or something, and they are quite more jumpy about calling something Stealth marketing than we are by a lot
When do you guys think this will hit 30 bucks?
I have too much of a backlog and too little money to spend 60 bucks on this
>You lose a lot in the transition between English and Japanese, period.
That's no excuse to intentionally lose more just because you find translating honorifics to be hard.
I'm probably gonna start a shitwar with this statement, but I fully believe what I'm about to say. A good translation is barely accurate to the actual japanese text, and is mostly a localization that focuses on keeping the situation, context, humor, relationships, etc. intact. I'd much rather read something that turned a word pun into a completely different joke that still got across how the old man was trying to tell his little girl to smile, or whatever, than just an accurate translation of the same word pun that makes zero sense in english.
>I love commie subs
Oh. So you don't actually like the content you're supposedly watching/reading, you like an entirely new story being told with the same visuals. Great opinion.
She's the worst girl by far, from my experience anyway.
>GET ME A CAKE
>why can't you just go and get it yours-
>I DON'T WANNA GO OUTSIDE
>go to get her shitty cake
>Some faggot starts giving me shit because I bought a fucking cake and he can't just get one himself
>get into a fight
>YOUR SHITTY CAKE HAS BEEN JOSTLED, BETTER START OVER NIGGA
>OH YEAH YOU AREN'T GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK EITHER
>do this three times
>eventually start just running
>finally get away without losing
>get her the goddamn cake
>OKAY COOL GET ME THIS OTHER CAKE TOO
>AND THIS OTHER ONE
>reward is barely $40, and that's if you don't fail once
Fuck that mission seriously.
It's only 40 to begin with, unless you mean the PS4 version - but that's not out till November (and is sadly full price).
I know for one thing that it looks better on PS4 and also that there are a lot of new functions in the game like panty rain and such, as well as a way to let people interact with your game if you are live streaming it and that seemed to have a lot of options for them to do things.
Aside that I think they're the same.
Now I'm tempted...
Maybe after I beat ONE video game, I'll buy is as a prize.
What happened to me?
Oh christ, i hope that last one is what i think it is.
A best translation is one that can be accurate and keeps the situation, context, humor, relationships, etc. intact.
I'd rather than one that keeps the situation, context, humor, relationships, etc. intact than one that's only about accuracy, though.
That's not the point. "Brotagonist" is not a good translation. "Nii-nii" isn't exclusively defined by the fact that it's a made up nickname. It's cute and affectionate, and again, isn't some hamfisted wordplay on two words. "Brotagonist" is purely humorous.
You answer a job opening for drug testing and get turned into a vampire, but some magic bitch saves you. Then you and your friends start a crusade to rid Akibahara of the undead menace attacking it by stripping them to death.
NG+ or by downloading some free DLC.
Saying "oniichan" nowadays has a bit of a bad connotation in Japan thanks to anime/moe explosion. It's perfectly normal to say your brother's name, and has been or say "anon-niisan" or "anon-neesan" or some variation of that.
But it's entirely a fetish item to go "oniichan" and I've seen on a few Japanese sites to dissuade your child from saying it to elders to counterattack the pedostorm.
>that everybody in the chat was a main cast member was some great shit when I caught onto it.
how did you not realize this borderline immediately?
Thanks for putting words in my mouth. Commie subs is terrible for the same reason NISA's localizations are terrible (well, one of the reasons.) They don't care about context and shoehorn in jokes that never existed to begin with.
>A best translation is one that can be accurate and keeps the situation, context, humor, relationships, etc. intact.
Yes, but those are a total nightmare that will most likely be stuck in translation hell for years at best, and nigh impossible at worst. You take what you can get.
For a non-vidya example of what I consider a good translation, look up Over-Time's subs of Kyoryuger. The show isn't amazing or anything but there's a character that makes old man puns constantly. In this translation, they replaced them with new puns that still convey the original meaning. Another sub group, TV-Nihon, just left the jokes as-is with translation notes. If you can't tell why that's a bad idea I don't know what to tell you.
She actually calls you bunches of variations of things starting with 'bro.' brotagonist is just one example.
Being a huge fucking nerd, wasting all of your money, hanging out in arcade bars and spending too much time on the internet.
I have really come to dislike this guys character designs.
Haven't actually checked. I got the game planning to play as a female character, but I just started it to see what it was like without it first, and it's so hilarious and charming that I'm completing my first playthrough before playing as a girl.
So play as the dude first.
>Does that mean I can't photosynthesize anymore?
Stripping has different styles, only have jacky chan and jojo now.
It's been like three years since I watched it so I'm not sure, probably just because I'm retarded, but I'm sure at least a few of the characters weren't introduced yet. I didn't really think much of it if only because I spend all day on /v/ (even back then) with people I don't know in real life as well, so I figured fuck it why can't the main character?
>She actually calls you bunches of variations of things starting with 'bro.' brotagonist is just one example.
And what does she use in Japanese? Is it consistently "nii-nii"? If so, that's even worse.
Fuck boys, I read through the whole thread and didn't see a title....What game is this?
You know, unfortunately, yes. She does. But it's charming in execution, you can turn on original jap text and voices, and the game is just fucking fun and hilarious to be worth checking out.
It's not a big enough deal to ditch the game entirely because of it.
NISA is localising it. It costs 40 CAD on video game plus ca. Probably the same on any other import site. The Europe version is likely going to be double that going by NISA's track record. NISA will likely censor the shit out of it. Do not give NISA your money regardless.
Put it this way. If you were to import it the cost would be
25 pounds sterling
both of these include shipping which is around 7 extra canadian dollars for the cheapest.
I can't stress enough that you shouldn't give NISA your money.
You'd be surprised. It's really similar to how most shootings nowadays are hamster with "THE SHOOTER PLAYED VIDEO GAMES" to try and give it a bad light/scapegoat. It's really become a big ol' priority to find out whether a kidnapper or a pedo is into anime and put that shit on blast.
There was a recent kidnapping of a grade/middle school girl by some guy who said she was his waif and he was going to raise her to be his bride.
But nope. Gotta talk about his anime posters all over the plea. That was the buzzword. Ayup. Animu.
The guy was baller as fuck though.
On another note, it's also a trend to make sure that guys aren't allowed to go to some fan events (namely Precure) without a female date/sister/friend/escort/kidnapped waifu with you. No single guys allowed and you can't show up with another dude.
Why can't there be a no-nonsense localization team that just wants to deliver a quality product with a faithful translation? If it's not censorship, it's a lack of dual audio. If it's not a lack of dual audio, it's shitty memes. I want off this wild ride.
The shitty memes are probably the most accurate part of this game's translation, I think that's just something you need to to deal with.
There's a lot to complain about, but when you complain about the ONE THING that's actually accurate, you just look silly.
Huh. That really is fucked up. Guy sounds like he knew what he was doing though. She was probably better off with him, knowing how well some people would pamper their wiafu... You know... Except for the child fucking.
>you cant watch precure live if you are a 20 something dude
truly sad, but considering they are aiming to 20something males and young girls, if you have a little sister or cousin its probably the event of a lifetime for you and her
But the shitty memes are part of the "quality faithful translation".
You cannot faithfully translate Japanese memes because they are not memes in English. You seem to believe meme means "le tips fedora" but meme the word is very much based around the culture of the 'meme' and how it spreads through that culture.
You cannot translate that because the player would have to be Japanese to get it due to it being a Japanese meme.
Putting in 4chan memes is completely faithful and a quality product because it's 100% the exact equivalent of what is there in Japanese but in English.
A Chie clone can't be best anything.
>He's the only one that's reported the problem
>Might be a specific issue with his copy
>XSEED still pledges to see what they can do
Not even having any problems with my copy, but that's just A+ customer service right there.
>Shy girl who gave MC his powers, sorta
>No fuck that
>Oh god, finally a chance for MC to end up with a foreign chick
WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THIS JAPAN? WHY PUT IN CUTE FOREIGN WOMAN IF YOU ARE NOT EVEN GONNA CONSIDER LOVING THEM.
Localizing Japanese memes is fine, but that's not the problem here. As per usual, the localization goes completely overboard and turns things that aren't memes into memes.
>Localizing Japanese memes is fine, but that's not the problem here.
Actually, that's exactly what a lot of people have been complaining about for quite some time now. But yes, the real problem is that they went overboard in other places as well.
If you're scared of localizations just learn Japanese you dumbasses
I think it's better to let it go a bit overboard than ti completely ignore it or make it a literal translation and make it feel forced and awkward.
I feel that the game wouldn't be so well received if it wasn't pushed a little more in the humor route anyway, as the humor in the Japanese version is a little more in-tune with an episode of Oreimo or Nyaruko, at best. The game wasn't an LOL fest by any means, so I'm glad that they went the Ghost Stories route instead and aimed to make it funnier.
This is Acquire not Sega, compare it to WotS, not Yakuza.
>the real akihabara isnt that big
And this one is even smaller due to all the transitions and places you simply can't go. The fact that the real deal is small kind of makes it worse.
Yeah, he had a room set up for her and everything (with posters and shit. Nothing like a sex dungeon at all, surprisingly. I think he was just wanting that Usagi Drop life or something in that eerily heartfelt way.
I was fucking loving it, beat it today, replaying it to max out my weapons. Tohko is best girl followed my Nana-chan
I'm pretty sure that's just a blog post somebody copypasted. But yeah there's always xseeddude.
It looked kinda familiar to start with for me but after seeing that CEO that looks just like Hitagi I couldn't not see it, it fucking has to be him.
God damn it, forgot the image
The only thing I understand is that the route establishing/affection raising choices are solely restricted to plot advancing dialogue. There's no way to alter it otherwise. So, you say the right things when you need to or get fucked, basically.
I assume that when the time comes, your route is simply locked to whichever character gives enough of a shit about you to beat out the others.
Or, there may be a minimum required rating that has to be met, or you get nothing. Which is entirely probable.
I think I read that I'm at the mid-point of the game, and nobody gives a damn about me, either. Tohko is in the lead according to Yuto, though.
That feel when you can't just be better friends by hanging out and patrolling.
I guess it makes it easier(?) for Shion pursuers, though, given her lack of availability for partnering up.
twintails 2 fluffy to be snail
also not loli enough
When you make a correct choice for a character, you typically get a confirmation sound and a response from them. I have nothing else to go on beyond that, though.
It would be funny if the Affection Rating doesn't matter in the end (to throw you off? Who bloody knows) and it's just based on a major response or two you give. Shit's all mysterious, and there are no guides yet, unless you read Moon.
seriously? not even higher poly models and higher res textures?
so whats the point of having this game on all 3 PlayStation systems if you are not gonna even make the game look better on the most powerful ones?
80% of the work in translation is nonsense, it's why computers can't do it for shit. Especially from Japanese to English, where you have simple bits of vocabulary like chan and paisen that occur more or less constantly if they appear, and a translator has to have some idea of how to flavour the equivalent English sentence and have an option for what to do in instances where a character isn't using them to make a point and shit like that. And this is all while they absolutely cannot change the animations, number of text boxes or basically do anything to manage the flow of the work.
Most translations are shit because to translate a work properly, you need to rewrite it, and if you were good at that you'd be writing your own shit directly and not have to deal with all the bullshit translation foists on you.
I'm really enjoying this game and was surprised by how much more there is to it having only a couple trailers and a few posts understanding of it.
>>so whats the point of having this game on all 3 PlayStation systems if you are not gonna even make the game look better on the most powerful ones?
milking more money out of otakus
German translates WAAAAY better to english than japanese
also Krautchan has a decent english posters population
2ch and 2chan are japanese only and the international posters are just a tiny fraction of their posters
Dem eyebrows, also is there a major difference between versions? because i feel more likely to get the vita one.
Same here. Nice to see a BR bro appreciating true art like Akiba's Trip. I learned english playing vidya.
>The game has upgraded graphics
>faster loading times, and renders more people walking around Akihabara.
>It also has more content
Twitch shit, doesn't count
>and comes with all the DLC
>The game is not set in America, its set in Japan.
Exactly, so why the fuck did xseed make all the characters speak in English, huh? It's set in Japan, they should be speaking Japanese.
But you wont understand 2chan memes
so the joke goes over your head, good job dipshit, you fucked up the localization, now every one in the game just talks a bit strange ever 8 moons
Physical map is accurate but shop appearance not - for legal and licensing reasons they could only get company logos of major buildings and brands. Then again the small shops in Akihabara cycle like mad anyways.
I liked this one actually
I dont mind the memes due to the theme of the game, it works well with it actually
>Some people want the dub, and definitely english text. Xseed included both, and you still get mad?
I'm mad because xseed decided that there should be written and spoken English in this game which is set in Japan. It's completely wrong. Nobody should be speaking English, ever.
P.S. I'm making fun of people who don't understand localizations, you fucking nitwit.
Are you sure about that? It seems to me that a lot of the businesses are accurate as well. Most of them chose to lend their real presence to the game, you can even see their real world advertisements. Someone said in a previous thread that this supposedly goes all the way down to some of the people running the shops.
Thing is the game is originally FULL of 2chan and 2ch memes. Tons of them simply can't be translated, or would make no sense if literally translated. I'm assuming they just switched them out for 4chan and english internet equivilents.
Yeah. That's the joke. People don't understand the point of what a localization is, they're just (pretty rightfully) pissed off because of other companies like NISA or Working Designs injecting their shitty humor where it doesn't belong that they assume it's always the case.
Difference between injecting humor and changing a character for no reason whatsoever barring a very, very bad joke that destroys the character and poisons no less than six games as a result.
This game is garbage as fuck. Fuck you /v/ for getting me hyped up. All these fucking load times, what the fuck? It's not a graphically demanding game so there is no excuse for having load screens every 5 fucking steps!
They stripped her so hard she got topless.
The words "weeb", & "weeaboo" don't really have much of the meaning and impact they had back in 2008 especially when they can refer to anyone who has interest in non-mainstream Jap things.
its what happens when you get a Rank D
>someone else, I forget who, gets the rights out of NISAs terrible hands
>keeps the name change
I don't care about this series and will probably never touch it but I feel for ya man.
What DLC is free? Is the paid DLC just swimsuits or some shit? That's what it usually is with this kinda thing. If the free stuff is actual models or whatnot then I don't care.
>I remember seeing her on /m/ once asking for help with gundam quotes.
It's kind of upsetting that they go to all that trouble and then still fuck up and call it "universe century"
Loads of shit.
I think he original purpose was art stuff (trailers, promotional images, boxes and the rare bit of graphical text like the boss names/titles in Ys). She also does editing now.
Then sorry to based Xseed who's reading this thread (I love you guys. Please continue to be the heroes we need. Senran on Vita uncensored? You guys are fucking amazing), but the man is indeed right.
Brotag and including several different variations is not a great localization of her saying nii nii.
I don't let it get to me that much, but I think anyone will notice that Nana keeps saying Nii-nii and the text keeps changing every time. It doesn't hold much consistency that way.
Regardless, the localization work is great. Good work, based XSEED.
Are there any hentai games that aren't censored and show more than just pantie shots or bath time with bubbles covering things? And I mean actual games, not free browser flash game stuff.
Does anyone know if this game has an arcade or minigames? Specifically if you can play a ufo catcher or some cool arcadey type games. Pic related is what I'm talking about. Gashapon machines are cool too.
>On another note, it's also a trend to make sure that guys aren't allowed to go to some fan events (namely Precure) without a female date/sister/friend/escort/kidnapped waifu with you. No single guys allowed and you can't show up with another dude.
Reminds me of how they actually allowed only girls and women to view Sailor Moon Crystal's first episode a few weeks before it premiered at an event and would not allow any guys.
>Reminds me of how they actually allowed only girls and women to view Sailor Moon Crystal's first episode a few weeks before it premiered at an event and would not allow any guys.
Guys could come if they were accompanied by women. It was for a women's magazine so that's why it was strict about who could come.
>call it "universe century"
No way. There were a metric fuckton of posts in that thread, not to mention SOMEONE had to catch a glaring error like that. And /m/ is pretty much the Gundam board, UC is common knowledge.
...and a Nep Nep here, a Nep Nep there, here a Nep, there a Nep, everywhere a Nep Nep
How big does the map get? It seems like there's only 10 or so areas I have access to, unless I'm just not looking in the right places.
also, sleeping with your sister, holy shit. I love this game.
Striprism was such a fucking letdown. It led it up to sound like it was going to be some great bullet hell shmup or something, then it was the most boring minigame I've ever played, and I cleared all three stages my first try.
Rest of the game is great so far though.
Not really a lot more. The biggest thing, and the thing that makes it look a lot better, is that they load so much more quickly, so you see the placeholders a lot less. The actual number of visible characters isn't that much higher. Or at least it didn't look that way.
After all those advertisements for Snipai, I decided to look up the game and it's just a slot machine.
Fuck Japan. I wanted to spank cute girls with guns.
The load-time on characters is rediculous.
Even in MOGRA, where there's only a handful, it takes 10-15 seconds after the zone loads for the character models to finally show up.
>options are beginner, easy, gamer
>pick gamer (duh)
>struggling with the awkward targetting and guard/dodging system
>bitches hit me down to 0 in one hit, on both my shirt and pants
>oh fuck oh fuck better straighten up my shirt and pants
>constantly running in circle from the enemies trying to zip up my pants
I want to like the combat because it /is/ kinda fun but dammit the defense side is shitty as hell. Not even kenka bancho's awful robotic-ness is this bad.
Just started playing for a couple hours. I really hope I get to meet 'eriko' later. If it's a dude I'm gonna beat him up. If it's a girl...I'm gonna beat her up another way too.
ere, >>258158837 I found pic related, called ufo totter or something, but apparently its for the plus version. Anyone know if 2 has the same features? This is supposed to be in some sega arcade or something.
I know how to counter. I just dont know how to dodge and counter enemies not on the targetting circles. Especially annoying in alleyways when I try to position so that I'm never pincered but every time I make an offensive push, I get pincered again because both my target and myself moves forward while everyone else stays back until they can backstab/blind side me.
>I just dont know how to dodge and counter enemies not on the targetting circles.
Obviously you don't, because you don't know that's completely irrelevant to dodge and counter.
