What's it like to have fast internet?
>mfw my internet is like this and im on wireless
unemployment is suffering
Reminder that Comcast throttles bandwidth until services pay up, spoofs TCP RST packets if you try to use P2P clients, and pays off regulatory bodies to keep themselves above the law.
At first it's really awesome. But once you get used to it you want it to be even faster.
>Comcast throttles bandwidth until services pay up
>spoofs TCP RST packets if you try to use P2P clients,
>pays off regulatory bodies to keep themselves above the law.
I'll give you that
source: comcast customer, never had any issues with bandwidth or torrenting. it's still expensive as fuck.
Makes my nips rockhard. Upload could be better though.
Next year I will have 152Mb, I wonder if I'll even notice.
>This is what Russians are brainwashed to believe
Enjoying those rising food prices while supporting the sanctions?
You believe Tsar Putin when he told you food prices would actually lower as it would help Russian agriculture?
Give your stomach my condolences.
California's Bullshit Lies.
I've never gotten above 1 Mbps
>Friend gifts game
>"Alright, I'll download it when I get a chance."
>Game is 2 GB in size
>Have 17 GB bandwidth cap
Yeah that isn't going to happen.
>live in canada
>get teksavvy DSL
>what the fuck happened teksavvy?
>sorry we can't really do shit we have to send a bell technician to your house in order to fix shit
>bell owns all the DSL lines in fuckin ontario
this is some kind of bullshit and it makes me mad
even when your ISP isn't bell you're still gonna get fucked over by them
at least its fixed now
Fucking hell. Even my first ADSL connection wasn't that bad. It was a 768kbit/256kbit connection with a 5gb bandwidth cap. And that shit was 15 years ago.
They eventually removed the bandwidth cap and upgraded me to an 8mbit connection
When we will get a good internet option in Canada?
Not Teksavvys fault
Blame the government for being retarded enough to sign telephone line exclusivity rights for an entire province away to a corporation just because they would front the cost.
How about you just go fuck yourself.
I get a few gigabytes a month and after that, pic related happens and I can't access practically anything but basic HTML websites. No youtube, torrents, or any kind of download over around a fourth of a megabyte.
After the limit is reached, some sites don't even load at al. Any last.fm address takes me to a this page can not be displayed
I'm like this, I was happy at first but then you notice it's only 60% faster than the rest of your country and you want more.
Not that many sites let alone games even utilize these download speeds. Good for multitasking though
>Richest man in the world
>To fucking cheap to give its country good internet
This is why I still support Israel
FUCK YOU SLIM ;DOWN WITH MUSLIMS
you know...it actually kind of is a blessing and a curse to have fast internet. It's the anticipation of getting a new game that makes it more fun
>have fast internet
>want to play a game
>go to steam
>download 8gb game within 10 minutes
>have slow internet
>want to play a game
>go to steam
>download 8gb game for about 6 hours
>in the mean time, go do other things while thinking about the upcoming game and getting excited
It's like when you were a kid and your mom would drive you to the game store, you picked out a game, then on the way back home in the car you would read the game manual or something while getting hyped
>have no high speed in my area
>time warner sets up a place here
>10mb/s down and 1mb/s up when i'm supposed to be getting 50mb/s down
Google Fiber is in Kansas and I think Austin.
Also, gigabit is common everywhere that isn't a corporate run shit hole and instead just a normal shit hole.
Hell, look at how much it costs for gigabit in Romania.
Steam literally can't write games to my hard disk as fast as it can download them.
Move to one of these places if you want it.
I'm perfectly okay with this. Though I wish my upload was a little higher.
> pic related
That shit happens to me too, but not to that extent. Just no more youtube. I just do all my torrenting between 1-9 am when speeds pick back up and nothing counts against my data limit, even though there is one for those hours.
ATT is releasing giggaverse in my area next month so pumped
>Live a few miles away from google's headquarters
>They didn't roll it out here first
>They still haven't gotten the OK for fiber here
Because the fucking companies basically got everyone by the balls, they made deals with the cities that no one else could install utilities through various loopholes and shit and it's just near impossible to actually get any new infrastructure in from what I am told.
Really really pisses me the fuck off and I wish someone would do something about it, but unfortunately no one will.
Well, i guess that was their policy several years ago, but not now. I'm not a shill, i'm just being honest. I have a 50mb connection with Comcast and i can torrent at 6.8Mb/s, which is 17mb more than i'm paying for.
where the fuck are you getting speeds like that in lafayette?
Hughes used to have daily limits, they've gotten better in the last 2 years or so, but getting 2x better is worthless when they still need to get 100x better to even compete with a standard broadband connection.
Verizon is the main cell provider out in da cuntry where people get satellite shit. Verizon has a ton of bullshit rules and fees if you want to use your phone's built-in tethering mode. You can get a 3G card and a phone line for the purpose of internet, but gone are the days where you could get unlimited data, IIRC you can only get 2-50GB per month at $25-$180 per month.
I have one of the old unlimited lines at $30/month, and regularly use +150GB/month, DL and UL are normally 100KB/s and 80KB/s, respectively.
You got some of that sweet municipal broadband, don't you? I'm jelly. Chicago is Comcast territory and i would love to see Chicago build their own fiber network that would be much cheaper than what Comcast is selling.
also here's my net
Politicians and citizens have absolutely no foresight. Signing an exclusivity agreement with one ISP for the whole city? Sure, let's do it. Oh what's that? There's not gonna be any competition so rates will escalate over the years? Whatever! I already cashed my check.
I used to have somewhat decent internet, but I moved and now it's beyond shit. The worst feel.
Supposed to be 15/10
>tfw 300GB cap that I never reach
>i guess that was their policy several years ago
Try "several months ago and continuing through now".
Comcast is actively working to destroy the Internet.
Any texasfags here?
>tfw live on the outskirts of houston and get speeds as high as 25-30 MBS
>Only get up to 5MBS
Feels bad man
People should be starting up their own ISPs in their shitholes and fight against the man.
I gifted my friend a game once and was expecting to play it with him tomorrow, give him 24 hours to install like it took me, then saw he had it installed and was wanting to play it withing 30 minutes.
This was my first encounter with fast internet, I thought everyone had internet as slow as mine.
Tangentially involved here. We signed away the town to Time Warner because they were the only ones willing to run anything at all. DSL wouldn't cover half of the houses and cable modem was all that existed at the time. They promised they would keep things maintained and up-to-date, but the town government are a bunch of rednecks and didn't know how to formalize that.
>At least we don't pay for bandwidth on land-lines.
I'm >>258924802 and I dont have a bandwidth cap, most fibre plans here in NZ dont have bandwidth caps and its only the really cheap ADSL plans which do.
Daily reminder that the US Government gave telecom companies billions of taxpayer dollars as part of the 1996 Telecommunication Act to wire all of America with highspeed internet.
You will never guess what happened.
Minimum wage is about 4 times smaller here in Romania. I know an American and he's pretty cool. Move here if you want. internet is 15 dollars a month
>Murrica got itself scammed
Why arent we putting these fuckers in jail?
>have Cox as ISP
>live in Omaha, their home city
>Everyone but us gets screwed by Cox
>Google Fibre being laid down in city, soon to be complete
It's times like these I'm glad to be in a city that serves as a telemarketing hub.
Haha yeah of course the money was totally so they could install high speed internet keep believing that you good citizen you
>HE'S WADDLING AWAY
>police unable to detain him because they can't find his arms or legs under the fat
>the more they try, the more he just rolls away
>one officer is crushed under the fat and suffocates on a twinkie wrapper
>tfw 300GB cap that I never reach
Teksavvy's capped package only charges you past the cap up to the price of an unlimited package then stops.
There's literally no reason to buy the more expensive unlimited package. Worst case scenario you go over and pay the unlimited package price, but on the months you don't go over, it'll be the cheaper 300GB price.
Also, Teksavvy doesn't count any bandwidth between 2 and 8 am, so if you're often doing shit late at night, you'll likely never hit your cap.
Because they used those billions to line the pockets of congressmen.
Our government is FAIR and BALANCED. Congress can't just take tax money and put it in their own pockets. No.
They have to give it to a friend first and then the friend can give it back to them as a personal gift.
at least it's cheap
customer service is a fucking joke though
Nah, thats just for people who live in the middle of nowhere. I used to have 150/10, but I honestly that 150 was filled maybe 1% of the time, so i downgraded. This is pretty much my own personal internet line, so its fast enough.
I don't have enough stuff to download. Can anyone recommend me things to download?
Ping 719 ms
>tfw barred out of TF2 indefinitely
fucking shit ass dish internet
>Comcast is actively working to destroy the Internet.
Major Canadian ISPs are actively working towards trying to push pay by the MINUTE internet pricing.
So remember, no matter how bad the US is, you can always point north, laugh and feel better about your internet.
>flights canceled, have to drive 16 hours to a fucking meeting
>can't use credit card
>can't use cell phone
Yeah, fun times.
Ah man you're lucky.
I have to share this with three other people...
>go about getting internet in my flat/apartment
>go with TalkTalk seeing as I already have my phone line via them and have never had any issues with them
>ask for the best speed they can provide, whatever the cost
>they give me pic related because apparently the area I live in can't supply me with a better speed until new lines and shit get installed
>find out months later I could get over 10x the speed with BT Infinity (78Mb-80Mb down, 19-20Mb up) which is available in my area (apparently TalkTalk fibre isn't available but BT is)
>stuck in a contract with TalkTalk for another year and a half
>if I break contract I have to pay some absurd fee per month I have left on the contract
I'm actually considering moving. Apparently if I move I can break off the contract with a lesser fee or some shit.
I dont know but the shit the FBI pulled it blowing up in their face.
The plan was to freeze his assets so he couldnt afford lawyers to defend him at his extradition trial. What happened was that heaps of lawyers did work for free and after a bit of digging it turned out that the charge against him in the US was actually a made up charge becase there isnt technically anything illegal under the then current US law which he did.
Because extradition laws here in NZ prohibit people being sent to foreign countries if they are likely to face an unfair trial hes probably going to stay here in NZ along with his two friends who are also on trial for the same thing.
>It's been 13 years since 9/11 was relevant
>Americans still act like somebody killed their mother when somebody laughs about it
>Have 20/2 internet
>It's alright, I mean there are people out there who got it way worse but I'd still like faster internet
>Can't upgrade because it'd require rewiring the entire house
It's pretty neato! I pretty much install games on steam as needed.
>First 10 seconds of takeoff
>next 8 hours of flight
Commercial airlines are shit because of all the people who don't know what's going on.
>people with too much luggage
>kids who don't behave
Chartered flights and private aircraft are cool, though, especially from the really little airports (the ones that consist of a runway and a closet).
Yeah, 500GB limit too I forgot to mention. I wouldn't hit it because I don't download a lot, but still.
Right now I just have shitty wi-fi 25 down 2.5 up. I would like better internet, but the place I'm living at is too good to turn down. Going to live with it for at least a year until I finish the last year polishing off my debt so I can actually afford spending that kind of ridiculous cash on internet and a place to live.
I could get 1gbit but my family needs their wi-fi and don't want to get a new router, so no point
5 is enough to stream 360 content.
You will probably just live with it. You really just buffer YT videos and such.
I can't believe I flew as a kid, I mean thinking about it makes me all scared.
It's small and cramped and you don't have enough space for your legs but at least there's that little TV with games and shit and they give you candy at the end
I once got to visit the flying cabin mid-flight, those fuckers have some comfy as fuck seats
Couldn't tell you, I've never had to call them. They used to be absolute shit, but now I have no complaints. In the year I've been using them I think my connection outright dropped four times and throttled for a few hours once.
They will call you every few months trying to hit you up for more money by upgrading though. Mildly irritating, but not a big deal.
Its pretty boring most of the time, on long flights like the 13 hour Auckland to San Francisco ones they have personal TVs so you can watch some selected movies and such.
Oh, and the chairs are very uncomfortable unless you are in the rich people seats and a lot of the time you have almost no leg room because they cram as many seats into the plane as possible.
I went from having 2 mbps download speed for the past 7 years to finally getting fibre optic today.
2mb to 77mb. I-It's so fast. I reformatted my HDD just for an excuse to redownload all my Steam games. It was incredible. I only wish I had first world internet 5-6 years ago when I used to download the latest MMO and had to keep my PC on all night to download the client.
I liked planes 10 years ago because you could play all these movies and games and back in the day that was new to me.
Now I can do that shit on my phone or PC
>implying I game on my phone
no I don't, but I could
>ram the luggage at the overhead bin
>ram it again
>turn it around
>ram it again
>flight attendant tells you to stop, just get a door tag
>ram it again
JESUS FUCK, LEARN TO PACK
I have Charter in St. Louis and their customer support never fails to rectify things, but I do have a few complaints.
- At my old place, the wire that came down from the line into my house had been corroded and I got shit tier internet. Play WoW for 30 seconds, lag spike, disconnect. Wash rinse repeat. They told me to buy a new modem, so I did. That did not fix anything. It took months, but eventually got a guy to come out and check my signal in person and he instantly fixed the issue.
- My internet has gone down in my new place (apartment complex) because they came out and meant to shut someone else off but wound up shutting down the whole apt complex instead.
- I don't /quite/ get advertised speeds. It's still very fast.
I went from 10Mb to this to >>258921574
I can't believe I had to live with this for 3 months, it was hell.
Wow, this is the first time I get to feel superior for my internet speed.
>What does No-Intro mean when it comes to roms? I see that on a lot of torrents.
It means it's a clean dump of the original game data. Back in the old days (early 90s, when these systems were still in use) ROM dumps would frequently have an "intro" attached from the group that provided them - especially if they had to crack some copy-protection.
>I can't believe I had to live with this for 3 months, it was hell.
My building recently got 40mbps VDSL2 - before then, it was 5mbps ADSL or Comcast. I used T-Mobile for 6 months. (It was faster than the DSL would have been, but dropped a lot of packets during busy times.)
>get on the plane almost last because I got a cheap seat at the back (I will never understand why they don't do back first)
>overhead compartment is already full from some asshole who stuffed two suitcases and a jacket up there
>forced to put my one small backpack in my already cramped legroom space
I hate flying
>live with grandparents
>tell them that there's 3 of us all on the internet all the time, they got a free ipad from a reward thing so it's always fucking downloading updates every second of the day
>tell them we need to upgrade, adding $10 would put us from .50Mb/s to the Teksavvy 7Mbps
>they tell me we don't need it
fuck nice things
How do you get the little cards like in the OP and the majority of posts in this thread? I can only get pic related.
If I had plenty of cash and no commitments here, I'd move in a heartbeat. I'd love to travel and settle down somewhere that isn't where I am right now. Even somewhere else in the UK that isn't a complete shit hole would do.
>tfw never been outside of Scotland(never mind the UK) my entire life.
except you can't do shit because your internet is too slow
try to browse something like /v/ and the either images don't load (they usually get stuck 1/3rd of the way), the threads don't load fully and thus the inline replies and such don't work, or at the worst all your bandwidth goes to your browser and you spend even more fucking time downloading the game
Are you country bumpkins that fucked? I pay 30 dollars for 2 years for internet with the deal I have and even after it's over it just raises to 65 dollars a month for it. You people need to move in
>10 years ago
>downloading an episode of a show I liked took one week
>really exited every week to watch a new episode
>can download entire shows under an hour
>don't want to watch anything
Progress, I think.
I fucking told them I would even pay for it
they simply don't want change
they don't mind paying $50 for three god damn cable boxes though. And yes, NONE of them are in my room because they "don't want cables running through the house". I use wireless internet with 50Kbps up and down with 30 ping
I am the cancer of online gaming and it hurts know that every time I host something people are shouting LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG WTF
Current DOCSIS implementations can get, I believe, 160mbps down and 120mbps up.
Fiber is more future-proof, as it has an overall higher bandwidth than the RG8 coax or whatever is up on the poles now. It depends heavily on what kind of fiber it is, though - whether it's something like GPON or a real direct-to-home individual fiber optic cable.
>when you know no child will ever visit the flight deck of a commercial aircraft mid flight again
Yea I'm sure you'd feel comfortable when this kid shows up to visit the cockpit
I like living in the country and all but sometimes it's not worth it because of the internet, there's fibre internet a few km away so maybe they'll bring it here ; - ; (I don't actually live in Dublin)
I don't know whats worse, my speed or the fact that everyone in a 10 mile radius cooks meth.
How does it feel to know an american has better internet than you?
With fibre optic cable you can put a lot more data down it by just using a different light wavelength, you can also more easily find where breaks in the cable are and you get less attenuation per meter.
With coax its not only now more expensive to produce than fibre but you have to have signal repeater stations more often and ultimately cant send as much data down it because you only have one path by which to send data, and while there are tricks you can do to increse the data rate it provides diminishing returns.
I would, what's he going to do shoot BOTH co-pilots? He's a fucking kid, after the first shot he's blasting from the knockback and starts crying.
Jesus H. Christ do you even know what you're talking about
As long as I can stream 1080p video without buffering, I'm good.
Only 20 bucks a month too (sharing bill payments).
Same here. I don't have crazy speed but I can do anything comfortable and downloads still don't take long. Only 28 a month. Google fiber will be available next year. Probably will get that.
I wish I had Comcast, I have this shitty ISP called Blue Ridge, which is a complete monopoly but my town doesn't want to realize it because there are random spots where one can get Fios.
I pay $57/mo for 10 up/1 down
When you sit down it's all cool (unless the airco is off with 30+ celsius outside like I had) and then you have the take-off which is indeed cool.
But then it starts, the constant loud engine noise, the guy in front of you who can't sit still, you legs and butt becoming stiff, your entire body drying out (seriously dry in a plane), you start to notice how fucking dirty a plane actually is, you find that piece of food under your armrest, the DUNG sound of the crew becomes annoying, the food is shit, you want to sleep but you just can't
Not that fun
4/5 it's ok
Could pay 10€ more and get 350/35 but don't need more than 100/10 right now. It downloads everything faster than I even notice. Might update if I start streaming in 4k.
It is though, that's why there's more than 1 pilot. Are you just stupid.
Did you even see the picture I replied to? That's clearly a gun you nigger.
He probably doesn't even know how to aim properly, that shit takes time. Pilots train this hypothetical situations all the time, they can land a plane perfectly fine if they get shot in the foot, arm, leg or neck.
Fucking /v/ I swear, pretending they know the shit they're talking about.
>they can land a plane perfectly fine if they get shot in the foot, arm, leg or neck.
>Fucking /v/ I swear, pretending they know the shit they're talking about.
>implying a single murder is acceptable because it's not 3000
>German upload speeds
I could get 100/2.5 and 150/5, but there's no point since the upload's so shit.
no, you see I'm calling YOU a nogunz. Even though you might be mentally a child, you are not THAT child.
>He probably doesn't even know how to aim properly
No dune coons do. It's not just a stereotype or myth, watch some combat footage. Somehow they still hit things occasionally.
>that shit takes time.
For long range shooting sure. For a pistol under 10 yards? You would have to purposefully miss, even if it was your first time ever shooting. Even a child could figure it out. How big do you think a cockpit is anyway?
>Fucking /v/ I swear, pretending they know the shit they're talking about.
u 'avin a giggle m8?
>AT&T says that they will bring Fiber to 50 metropolitan cities
>No word on when this will happen
It was just a ruse wasnt it?
Because nobody cares about Australia.
I'm not saying that to be an asshole, it's really why they haven't bothered yet. Beyond that, they're an American company and want to focus on America first.
getting shot =/= murder
That's why there's more than one fucking pilot on board you retard.
After the first shot he's blinded from the knockback and smoke.
Do you even fucking know how fucking retarded you are? I just told you pilots have training in this kind of shit, they'll bring out the teargas they hiding under there left armpit at these times.
They've literally been trained a 100 times over for this fucking situation.
That is to say that no guns actually ever get on board anyways.
>So have cable fucks been shafting us the whole time?
Why do you think Google is helping you niggers? Competition is always a good thing.
There's no point since if you pirate something you will get a letter.
It's not too fast but I can live with it. The provider (Ziggo) is kinda shit at times though.
French internet is slow anywhere but in paris, I own a house there and the internet is slow as shit. Just because I'm living somewhere zombies would never breach.
>they don't care about money
Sounds stupid to me. But hey, whatdo I know.
>After the first shot he's blinded from the knockback
I can't tell if you're trolling or if you really just know absolutely nothing about guns. Protip: the current year is not in the 1700s, this is not an issue.
Plus you know they teach kids to use guns young in the middle east? You see a twelve year old, he's already proficient with an AK by that age. They have a warrior culture, it's no different from Europe in the middle ages-men taught their sons to use weapons as early as they could hold them.
>Do you even fucking know how fucking retarded you are? I just told you pilots have training in this kind of shit, they'll bring out the teargas they hiding under there left armpit at these times.
They've literally been trained a 100 times over for this fucking situation.
leaning towards trolling now
>Sounds stupid to me. But hey, whatdo I know.
Not much apparently, because they could absolutely dominate the US market but are choosing not to. They're instead giving cable companies a chance to become competitive. If they cared about maximum profit they could charge a lot more and expand a lot faster.
It seems at least for now google would rather let others deal with the infrastructure, as long as they're capable, while sticking to the shit they already know.
>mfw I'm one of the lucky ones that have proper fibre to the home NBN
>i pay 70 dollars a month for this
based rural alberta
at least i dont have a usage cap like the rest of the fucking country
>friend gets 1mb/s - 2mb/s on downloads
>considers 1mb/s to be 'slow'
>my optimal speed is like 450kb/s
>live in country in lower IL
>literally only 2 options have 1 mb/s as their max(up to)
>it takes literally 21/2 days to dl something 20 gb
Literally kill me
The US has a massive and outdated infrastructure that is difficult to simultaneously upgrade, resulting in bottlenecks all over the place.
Most countries are barely the size of Texas, not only making it easier to upgrade the entire infrastructure or most of it, but they're also either a developing nation which was able to install their infrastructure relatively recently, or they're a 1st world nation that got BTFO in WWII and had to rebuild their tiny infrastructures from virtual scratch.
Basically it's an inherent trait and not the fault of any one company, organization, or the government that it be was it is, but it do.
I've got a pretty good story about internet
>Move into a house in brisbane (Aus)
>I'm room mates with some guy named micheal
>He pays something like $90 for this wireless internet dongle on his PC
>Upon moving in, he tells me that we'll share the internet dongle and I'll only pay 40 a month
>Downright refused to
>Told him I was gonna buy some landline internet, he could use it if he halved it
>Call the owner of the house, she says they've connected it, we just need to set up a plan
>3 months later and there are 5 of us living here, an additional 3 came during the winter
>We're sitting on 500gig a month, paying roughly $230 for it every month
>Guy that has the internet dongle thing is getting mad angry at our superior data, he literally pays 90 dolllaridoos for 5gig (jewnet)
>One night we throw a party
>Heaps of people from inner brisbane show up, some of them were probably in their 40s
>Guy with the internet dongle gets drunk, goes up into the roof and attempts to pull out the landline
>Disconnects the power to the entire street
>A neighbor comes over and beats him up
>Our faces when
My school system used to have a moment of silence every year for 9/11, up to I think 2010 when they stopped.
Furthermore, 13 years is not a long time to forget about the death of thousands in such a small amount of time.
Now the guys who get analhurt about Pearl Harbor, sheesh.
And unlike all these Universityfags, this is a residential connection.
wtf man, I have centurylink and it's nowhere near that bad.
Google (the best fiber), Comcast, and Verizion have it and offer it at insane prices.
AT&T claims to be bringing fiber over to major cities in America but that was months ago and apparently the only place with AT&T fiber is Austin for 70-90 bucks bundled with Cable
>3rd World Internet
I know all tripfags are liars but can you show me a pic of your left arm haha just curious
>playing shit in public
I don't ever go out and I'm currently emulating D1 on PSP
>doubled the speed for the entire Northeast US market for free
fuck man, i live in Oregon pay nearly 60 for this shit. Fucking comcast
Bitches wish their internet was as fast as mine.
>Have never been in a plane either
>Am convinced the first time I do, if ever, will end in a plane crash and die horribly
And I'm losing a good chunk by going over a shitty wireless bridge with a ton of interference.
You should move, OP.
God damn, I don't know how I could live with speeds like OP. It's fucking 2014 and you still have that slow internet?
Challenge time /v/!
How fast can you send Madagascar a message telling them to close the ports?
>BC has some of the highest overall taxes
>High as fuck cost of living because "muh sunshine tax"
>Lowest fucking wages and overall shittiest economy
>Shittiest fucking drivers
>Snobbiest and yet dumbest fucking rich-boys with even dumber offspring
>Oligopoly leading to awful internet
How is BC not the worst place in Canada?
Basically "we have nature and lots of nice aesthetics, so it's a place where rich as fuck people come to visit" and so it becomes retarded as fuck to live there in terms of cost.
The damage is so fucking done too. Layton's dead so there's no hope for NDP ever again. Conservatives absolutely shitwrecked everything to the point of no return. Liberals are at best a "lesser evil" that will actually get a potential majority vote so Conservatives don't keep their grubby hands in the jar.
If we get a fucking minority government going, I will seriously debate moving to another country.
moving to AB soon. ontario was okay but fucking internet and cell was bonkers. actual fucking robbery, those "plans"
unless it wasn't an internet "plan" it was a "plan to financially assrape" me
Nobody even tracks it because it's such a low number. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recorded 35 between 1978 and 1995. About two a year.
About 50 people are killed by trains in NYC each year.
>Conservatives absolutely shitwrecked everything to the point of no return. Liberals are at best a "lesser evil" that will actually get a potential majority vote so Conservatives don't keep their grubby hands in the jar.
I'm talking about the Liberal provincial government in Ontario. Blatant as fuck money stealing and given a majority for their efforts
Alberta has the shittiest weather and racist as fuck people, but it's the smartest place to work in because most people start 4 bucks an hour more there just for living there.
Their winters are insane though.
On average, 134 people were hit by subway trains and 41 killed each year between 2001 and 2012, according to an MTA analysis.
About 35% of those hit by trains are classified by authorities as suicides or suicide attempts. Riders also fall to the tracks, unwisely descend to pick up dropped property or even drunkenly walk into the sides of trains on platforms. There also are rare instances of riders being pushed by lunatics.
Lisberg said the annual figures have fluctuated “somewhat randomly” over the last decade or so while ridership has increased significantly.
“The chance of being struck and killed by a subway train remains astronomically low,” he said.
I live in a dorm that includes internet but still, I just downloaded MG HD collection off PSNow but I can't play it because I just lag out during the intro. Fucking blows.
Yeah, Alberta is like the prime "starting" point. You put up with its shit for a few years, make mad cash, then move somewhere else when you've got the job security/experience.
>ping over 10ms
>more than 20 cents for a 1mb/s of download
do u even try murrica?
It's acceptable, but this shit is expensive and I pay for 50/4 to get a decent data cap but it's really just 25/5. I'd get the basically same speeds on the 25/2 plan, but going down to an 80GB cap is just lunacy.
