90's kid thread? 90's kid thread
>Year you were born
>inb4 old geezer get their granny panties in a bunch because of "muh 1989 and lower were real 90's kids"
>The Wii was from the 90s right?
only true 90s kids remember mw2
> It's people born late 80s who grew up mostly in the 90s
>implying people born in the 90s didnt grow up in the 90s
WOW ITS AS IF TIME STOPPED AND YOU DIDNT GROW UP UNTIL THE NEW MILLENNIUM CAME
First console was a Sega Mega Drive.
Now, I have a question. My first game was some side scroller where you play as an old man and woman (I think she was a witch) and the first level has you running through a graveyard.
The name of the game was of the two protagonists (X and X) I think.
This so much.
I consider myself an Early 00's kid
>unironic 90's kid thread
>unironic "PICKING MY POKEMON WAS THE HARDEST CHOICE OF MY LIFE" thread
My bad for not rounding it off.
But in case you;re a bit soft in the head, my friend. Me describing that game was what my question was going to be about - what's the game called?
People born in the 80's and lower claiming to be 90's kids really aren't. We that actually were born in the 1990's grew in the 90's. You know all those cartoons and vidya games you love? Yeah they were marketed to us KIDS not a bunch of edgy teenagers who said "dude", "brooooo", and "don't eat a cow, man" all the time.
PC (Windows 95)
then SNES with floppy disk add-ons. My favorite game was Super Bomberman, but I don't know which particular game, you could choose 8 playable characters and I kept playing it even when I was 9 years old.
I grew up loving Bomberman games ESPECIALLY Bomberman Fantasy Racing, though I am greatly disappointed that Hudson is kill.
Born 1984 and before? 80's kid
Born 1994 and before? 90's kid.
You can't remember jack shit til you're at least 6 years old. I was born in the 80's but all I remember is shit from the 90s.
Very first was Dreamcast and specifically Road Rash on a PC when I was about 3.
First personally owned shit came few years after with a plethora of PS1 games and some weird PC that only ran hundreds of MSDOS games from Lost Vikings, to God of Thunder to Doom to fucking Where's Wally.
At least I feel like a 90s kid considering how poor my upbringing was. I didn't have a PS2 until I was 13.
80s claims 90s were the best despite of 90s kids were born to lived the golden age.
It's fucking weird that there are kids my age that grew up as the "my first system was the PS2" generation. I always a few years behind everyone else and didn't get an N64 until the last year or two of its lifespan.
So you're telling me my friends who were born a few months before me because my birthday is January of 1995 are the true epic 90s kids and I don't know anything compared to them? :^)
>You can't remember jack shit til you're at least 6 years old
I distinctly remember watching my dad finish games, shitting my pants while trying to get my parents attention to help me, not having cancer (Got diagnosed at 5) and other stuff. All before I was 6 or even 5
My first console was the Sega Megadrive (Genesis for you Yank fucks) with a Mega Games 3 cartridge but before that I'd play MS DOS games on my dad's PC.
Hey guys, who here remembers 9/11? I remember being really pissed off
because the didnt show pokemon and dragon ball z, on cheeze TV
Fucking this. Best time to live at since 80s gaming nearly crashed.
tfw not going to school on September 11th
tfw being happy because I wasn't at school
tfw living in my own little world and playing on the SNES while my parents talked about boring stuff
tfw going to school the next day and learning about what happened
Oh yeah, and 1989.
Turns out the Mega Games cartridges were different in the US. The one I owned had Sega Soccer, Columns, Super Monaco GP, The Revenge of Shinobi, Sonic the Hedgehog and Streets of Rage on it.
>unironically calling yourself a "nineties kid"
I'm pretty sure you can have memories from when you're a toddler, but they aren't as clear or common as age 6 and on. They just have to be associated with a major event or trauma.
I pretty distinctly remember severely breaking my arm when I was 3 and being rushed to the hospital, but that's the only memory I have from that time period.
Maybe. I did have melanoma. Maybe I'm a snatcher
Fuck you Nintendo kids. Vidya would be better if we were still getting games like JSR, Shenmue, and Virtual On, instead of Super Smash Rehash 4.
Come on guys, you could have only objectively enjoyed the 90's if you were at least born in 1990, anything after is just toddler shit tier. 1991 I give a pass to, but 1992 is is stretching it. '93 is right out.
>Hey oldfags, how mad did you get when we 90's kids were able to play with cool shit like the SNES, N64, and PS1 while you faggots had fucking pong
What are you talking about? As an 80's kid who grew up with an NES, I got to actually experience the excitement of the first jump to the next consoles and still enjoy them just as much as kids being born in that era.
The world literally had no idea what to do, it was fucking hilarious.
...its gone..forever...isn't it...
all my fellow 90's kids know this feel.
>can't even ask a fucking question properly
>call someone else "soft in the head"
Your jelly is showing. Go listen to cheesy synthpop somewhere else with your neon technicolor cassette player 5000. BTW everything in your generation was a rectangle...let that sink in for a moment.
Mah niggas. Genesis does what nintendon't.
Man, I was in DC during 9/11, shit was nuts. Everyone was going psycho. Some idiot wrapped his house in plastic and died. You couldn't enter, or exit the city.
And then afterwords, everyone's got their flags outside, and if you didn't wear flag colors on 9/11/2002, you were terrorist loving scum. Fun times.
i remember a few memories of being around 3-4
one is getting my picture taken at the place in walmart or whatever some studio. not a fake memory i still remember playing with these toys they gave me and my brother and laying around on a bed
the second is i actually fucking almost drowned in a sepctic tank or something. i thought it was just a huge thing of oil but now i know what it was. they quickly pulled me out though(maybe it really was just a big tank of oil? it was a man hole in there garage)
and another time i remember waking up on a Saturday and my dad was watching football and being extremely bored
>lmaorofl only 90's kids will remember this lolol
It's only a few more years until you 93~ dudes start feeling old. I remember back when most of the answers in these kinds of threads on /v/ were 86~
I'm 28 now and feel ancient. I'm also a
>Mah niggas. Genesis does what nintendon't.
Except making consoles
First game I ever played was Joust at a local pizza place.
First actual console was a Genesis. We did not have much money back then, so I generally only got 1-2 games a year and rented the rest. I was actually very fortunate and was able to get the Sega Channel later in its life (Think netflix for video games 15 years before it was a thing).
Played the hell out of my Genesis until the AV adapter broke on it (Would only turn on if you held the AV cord in a certain direction). Eventually got a Playstation with crash in '96.
First portable was the Game Boy Pocket with Donkey Kong (Also my first Nintendo console).
>thinking you're a 90's kid if you were born after 1991
nice try faggots
wait, to be a 90s kid, do you have to have been born inbetween 1990 and 1999? or is it 80s kids who grew up in the 90s?
oh god this is actually painful.
Where do all the people who were 19 and 18 seven years ago go? The perpetual average age of this board is so young, half these fuckers had their first console in the PS2 era.
I was born in 91 so yes, for 9 years I was a 90s kid. But the term __'s kid is pretty fucking stupid guys! Im just as much as a 90s kid as a 00s kid, and a 00's teen, and a '10s adult, all phrases which mean nothing.
I've been out of vidya for so long, I've regressed back to SNES era. Just started Earthbound again.
Arcade (Donkey Kong/ Tron/ Popeye/ Galaga/ Sinistar/ Star Wars) -> Tandy CoCo2 -> NES
I had Super Mario, Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy 1, but I put way more time into my CoCo2. I remember eagerly awaiting for the latest copy of Compute! magazine to come out and watching my dad sit there for hours typing up the featured game in BASIC. Future Master Race in the making.
>1989 and lower were real 90's kids
but that's actually true because they were old enough to actually enjoy / remember / mentally process the games and play mature rated shit. meanwhile you were flapping around shitting yourself in nappies trying to play the lion king or something gay like that
1984 and I wish I was an 80s kid instead of a 90s kid.
I was 5 in 1990 though, so there is now way I could consider myself a child of the 80s when I can hardly remember it, right?
>This guy really has nothing else to hold onto in his life but the fact that he was born a few years before someone else and so can remember enjoying the media from that decade slightly more than you can
the life of a pathetic faggot.
This was my main game on the CoCo. Youngfags think games like Dark Souls are 'muh hardest game ever'. Thexder, Silpheed, Kings Quest, RoboCop, Predator, Zaxxon, PitFall.. so many fucking good games.
No amount of emulation or amount of meme grumps playthroughs you watch on youtube will be able to replicate the magic of growing up during the golden age playing all the best games with your friends.
>90's kids unite! XD I'm SOOO OLD! Remember the "Gameboy?"
Born any later than 1990? If yes: you're too young to even remember half of the decade.
>Being born in the 1990s
>Being a 90s kid
Pick one and only one, faggot.
>This anally annihilated kid who grew up playing cod and halo
>there are actually people on /v/
>in this thread
>who have never played Ghana Bwana
it would be best if you just died in your sleep tonight... theres no further use in living
When you're 10 years old, its alreadythe year 2000.
That is the time where you remember most of your childhood.
You kids dont even know Tailspin and Rescue Ranger, or the Original Power Rangers.
I have no idea why people like you think people in their late 20's, early 30's have achieved next to nothing and should commit suicide. Is it that life is just that unbearable that you have no one else to blame?
If that's the best insult you can come up with, you have nothing but a dry well. Fall into it.
nintendo but fell in love with the snes the second i played it. And before i forget...
>tfw you'll never experience the 90s again as a kid and relive all the wonderful new games/movies/music coming into the world and when gaming was about games
how i've grown to be so cynical...
i wanna go back
I born in the 94. I played video games and all but I don't remember shit, all my memories are from later than 00.
So, you're so right but these "I remember everything like when I was born" kids will deny it.
>being over 30 and still posting on chinese cartoon video game imageboard
Why are kids born in the 90's so obsess about being called 90's kid?
Are a shame because the grew up in the year 2000 where everything start to go to shit?
Do you even ghostbuster? then stop calling your self 90's kid
>Not watching Zorro in black and white while growing up.
>Not watching the original ducking Scooby-Doo.
You fucking shits don't know what it means to have a childhood. You think LAN parties mean something? Try having your entire Cuban town come to your house on a Friday night to play Killer Instinct.
Forget the communism, forget the starvation, forget the lack of hot water. All I remember was having a fucking blast being a child.
85 fag here too
I want to say those were better days. We saw a lot of new shit that still goes on to this day. I want the new generation to create things for themselves than endure sequilitis.
NES, although my heart belongs to SEGA
You, I like you
You, you're cool too. Although you'll have to forgive me for only playing the Sega CD port
>implying any of you were even alive in the 90's
>Can't even tell who's shitposting ironically and who is genuinely replying
you got me
I died in 1989, then came back in 2001.
seriously, every technology was coming with delay to my third world country. I'm glad though, i had nes (well, nes clone), c64, ibm xt (clone too), plus several sega consoles, i don't remember which ones (nobody knew the name, just "father bought this box in another country it's so great") but they was awesome.
when 9/11 happened, for a short period of time spirits were able to escape from the Fields of Punishment and Asphodel into the real world. That's how much of a catastrophe it was for the Underworld.
>People unironically branding themselves as "90s kids"
>People unironically posting shit like "REMEMBER THIS?" about things that happened less than 20 years ago
>People unironically insulting elders as "grandpa"
>People unironically claiming "childhood" nostalgia when they're currently less than 20 years old
"Neo-/v/ isn't real," they said...
"Reddit boogeyman isn't real," they said...
"The cancer isn't terminal," they said...
>people thinking being born a certain time makes them special
you're no different from them
"several vivid memories"
You saw shit on TV.
I have an entire decade of my life in the 90's.
Btw, ya'll fucking missed out, and I'm so sorry.
>tfw SMW3 was new
>tfw Pokemon Blue
>Quake dial up online + lan
>tfw FFVII dissapointment and then hype
>tfw Diabo, Starcraft, Warcraft, golden age of FPS and RPG
>tfw Nirvana died
>tfw Radiohead first happened
>tfw Simpsons best classic seasons as they happened
>Internet was untapped, unfiltered and free for all
It was better, dammit. I fucking know it was.
I pity you peasants. I grew on PC, which is the best console, then and now.
>mfw I loaded New Vegas for the first time, a true classic
I have a genesis model 1, all of my genesis games work just fine on it and it runs well.
I got a S&K cart off ebay a while back, and when I put it in, it didn't work
assuming the cartridge was the problem, I went into my local gaming store and bought another
the new one doesn't work either, even thought they were both confirmed to be working
what the fuck is going on?
>mfw when it actually was at one time
I have so many good memories of that game when I was a kid. I miss being a kid and actually being happy about things.
>tfw teenager in 2000, general feeling that vidya was dying, everyone was basically in doomsday mode
>Go and pickup Majora's Mask on release day, get home and play it nonstop for hours and hours on end with a buddy trying to figure it all out and find everything
Gaming really did die after that. I thought I was just being paranoid, but in hindsight, it fucking did. It lost something.
So I now rewatch Strange Days every 6 months for Y2K feels
Played nsmb and duckhunt with a fat Chinese kid in the back of their chinese restaurant in some redbrick storage room. I can still remember the steam, smell of noodles, neon signs and kungfu posters. Must have been maybe 4 then.
Mum later got me a used nes. We were a poor family so most of the stuff I had was outdated but I was still happy.
It lost little. You lost it, you lost everything.
I was born in '93 too OP, but come on, we're 00's kids.
Sorry, but nothing on PS2 or afterwards compares to Abes Oddysee, Majora's Mask, Deus Ex, Max Payne, Half Life, System Shock 2, Age of Empires 2, Diablo, Starcraft, Grim Fandango, Wasteland, Bards Tale, Ultima, Hexen, Final Fantasy VI and many, many more
Gamings best years are behind us. Now that it's a purely technical profession, it's all about work and no play.
SNES along with around 20 games that was given to me by my rich ass friend who was getting an N64 at the time.
MFW I still have all of it
>>Year you were born
PC count? if not, then Gameboy, if not that because its portable, than PS1
TFW you only got to play sonic by hanging out at your cousins house, who didnt like vidya as much as you did
Being born in 90s despite have little memory on PSX.
I do remember on Christmas when I got a PSX with some games cases that were like rectangle instead of squared. WWE and Frogger.
I'm starting to think they don't really exist.
So according to you, you cant remember anything until you're 6.
If you were born in 1984 or 1994, your first memories would presumably be when you turn 6 years old in 1990 or 2000 respectively.
Why would a kid with no memory of living in a time frame be considered a kid of that time frame? The whole point of being a "__'s kid" is that your childhood memories are based off of things from that time period.
What I'm saying is, your post makes no fucking sense.
I was born in 84 and I clearly remember stuff as far back as 88 and earlier stuff vaguely. I'm still a 90s kid though because my childhood can't be defined from before I was old enough for grade school.
The point is, even if you were born in the early part of the 90's, it meant that when you became the childhood age where you can start to retain memories, you were allready in the shit teir later part of the 90's with Spice Girls, Oasis and shit like that, instead of the early 90's Depeche Mode, Cure, Slowdive, Nirvana, Pixies etc with movies like Reservoir Dogs etc.
Late 90's is early 2000's alpha release. Early 90's is late 80's DLC release.
Everyone knows this as fact. To be a "90's kid" you would have to be born from 1979-1989 to qualify. as being 6-12 in the real 90's.
So why is it that 80s kids always made fun of 90s kids and they always argued about which is better, but 00s kids always try to pretend to be 90s kids instead of fight them about their own time being cooler?
Are 00s kids just that aware of how shitty they got it?
TI-99/4A, this thing right here. NES if you want to get into something newer that didn't allow you to program BASIC on it.
00's kids know secretely they are apart of the "forgotten generation".
It was the war on terror, bad movies and music, financial depression and general world turmoil in pure abundance.
The era between 1999 - 2005 and onwards is going to go down as a blindspot in everyones history. The children born after 1995 will be featured in documentaries 20 years from now about "What Went Wrong in Western Civilisation".
00's born and bred people are literally walking ghosts who have spent their better years in a time people want to forget.
1994 pleb race here
born too late to get the full 90's cultural experience, instead I got stuck with cowadooty 420 facebook nigger worship culture during teen years.
at least I managed to catch the tail end of first gen digimon, DBZ, Pokemon, Beyblades, etc. when I was pretty young
Someone born in 1988 feeling like someone else will say they weren't a 90s kid amuses me.
Why are there so many weird rules for being a 90s kid that everyone made up for themselves?
>You were born in the early 90s? Not a 90s kids.
>Born in the late 80s? Not a 90s kid
>Born in the early 80s? Maybe a 90s kid
>weren't 40 in the 90s? Then you aren't a 90s kid!
Who the fuck put that much thought into this shit?
>To be a "90's kid" you would have to be born from 1979-1989 to qualify. as being 6-12 in the real 90's
Childhood is generally considered the years between birth and the adolescence, 13, with the 2nd part of childhood(6-13 being the most influential.
If you spent 7 to 10(cant live more than 10 years in a decade, cant you?) years in the 90's, then you're a 90's kid.
tl;dr: you'd have to have spent the majority of your childhood(from birth to 13) in the 90's to be a 90's kid.
Were you born in 1994? then you spent 5 years of your childhood in 90's, and 8 in the 2000, with the most influential part of your childhood in years 2000, you are not a 90's kid.
Born in 87, I just had it handed down to me. I didn't get another console until the 64 came out. By that point we could actually afford vidya, before that I was just a handheld idort.
I only had secondhand experience of SNES and Genesis, but that was honestly enough for me to decide that 4th gen was truly the master race of video games. I was thrilled to finally get a SNES of my own down the line.
If you were born in the 90's you aren't a 90's kid. Most of the 90's were over before you had any memories that would be retained as a teenager and adult. Fuck off babies.
>First console NES. Not sure what year. 1993 sounds about right.
You're a 90s kid if you grew up in the 90s (i.e. you were a kid in the 90s), not if you were born in the 90s. If you were born in fucking 1993, by the time you were sentient, 90s were pretty much over.
>first console was a genesis
>first video game I ever played was mario on nes
>that good feel when always been an idort
I was like, a half-80 half-90s kid. (82)
It sounds bad, but what this does mean is that I was born precisely at the right time to get a Mario/Duckhunt Nintendo Entertainment System with lightgun, and a gold cart The Legend of Zelda for Christmas when I was 4 or 5.
I was also just in time to watch anime when I was 4 year old and to have no idea it was anime until a decade later. Thanks Robotech, you butchered bastard.
>tfw 4chan is majority Millennials
>tfw Generation Z will be able to post on 4chan in less than 4 years
I think I probably watched that too, but I don't have many memories of it other than him flying around the moon or something in a superman pose.
My dad remembers that I used to watch Speed Racer too.
My family was poor. On my 7th or 8th birthday, around the time 9/11 happened, my brother got me the StarCraft Battle Chest. Couldn't play online because we used unlimited AOL dial-up free trials. He managed to download a keygen on my dad's shitty laptop and we'd play LAN for hours. I used to lose all the time, but then I got gud and eventually became better than him
>>Year you were born
I was a poorfag living in a rather poorfag country with a great trade relationship with Japan. I got to experience the glory of 80s arcade gaming thanks to my country's shittyness when it comes to technology, and at the same time I got to experience the 90s and 00s console, PC and arcade gaming thanks to the efforts of my parents and to the lack of any enforcement in "child labor" laws. I could play Pokemon while eating my breakfast, then after school I'd go to the arcades to play After Burner and Space Harrier, and back in home I'd play Castlevania: SotN or System Shock after watching anime on open TV.
I can say that I'm very happy about my gaming formation.
I was born in 1986. My older sisters had an Atari and NES, and my sister got a Genesis when I was 6, then our house got broken into, and I had shit. At 9, I got a Genesis with the 6 Pak cart. I got Streets of Rage 2, Earthworm Jim 2, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 2 and 3, and a few others.
In '97 I got a PSX. FF7, Symphony of the Night, KOF '99, Soul Reaver, MGS, Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition, and a buttload of others.
I got a Dreamcast on launch day with the t shirt.
Fuck yo' childhood, anyone born after '89, basically, is my point with this long shitpost.
One of these ads, but for Kaybee Toys, mistakenly listed Final Fantasy 2 next to a picture of Final Fight, so when I told my mom I wanted FF2, I ended up with Final Fight. Sad birthday....
>inb4 old geezer get their granny panties in a bunch because of "muh 1989 and lower were real 90's kids
eh... I'm not even a 90's kid but you're denying an accurate statement. If anything, you're a 2k's kid.
Lets see.... if you were born in '93, then you turned 13 in 2006, while Xbox 360 was released on Nov. 22, 2005. Shit.. you landed right in the age of the cancer killing gaming.
Dem $75 N64 games. I remember that shit.
I remember buying Chrono Trigger for $80 new as well when SNES games jumped to $70-$80 during that chip shortage and all of the high capacity games were that much.
Are you reatrded or what?
How prices from 97, especially when one of them is only applicabe "after coupon" and only for Toys'r'us, are indicarive of what the prices were in 1993-59?
I like these.
Not OP but born a year later.
It feels fucking bad, man. I gamed as a kid (had an older brother who was a le true 90s kid), but I never really got far in the games cause I was a dumb kid who was bad at vidya.
I've recently been emulating games that I failed at as a kid, most recent one was Paper Mario TTYD.
Ho boy did I miss some good vidyer.
>When you see it...
I still remember this commercial playing all Christmas time in 1991. It'd come up on TV and I just freeze and watch it every time up until that Christmas that I got one:
>tfw when because of some thread on 4chan about the 90s i've spent all evening watching Recess episodes instead of getting shit done
It was a good show, goddammit
>ISIS bucket challenge
I fucking hate you
My family was poor and had a weird relationship with technology. I started with a TI-99/4A and an old IBM Tandy. Ended up getting an NES at a garage sale with the power pad, zapper and a ton of games and it went from there.
>playing Zug's Dinosaur Discovery Kit on the Tandy
>discover that it has a crude text-to-speech function
>get my keyboard and start making beats/music
>get my brother to handle the text-to-speech
>record it on an old boombox with a mic built in
>still have a cassette with our song that was just "Butts, butts butts. Chunk-a-chunk fat butt sat on a duck. Who farted?"
>start making it curse
>parents hear, brother blames me and I get grounded
>didn't have a computer with windows or internet until 1999
Feels weird to think about living without the internet. I was definitely more active and imaginative back then.
and I still have it
And I can honestly say
I want this industry to crash and burn.
I was going to high school in norfolk va when that happened. My family lived on base housing but I couldn't go home and had to stay at a friends house until the next daz because the base was locked the fuck down.
First game I played was Adventure. Scared the living shit out of me and I didn't sleep for a few night straight. Pissed my dad off so much that he hated all things video games from that day onward.
Sometimes I wish I was born ten or fifteen years earlier though. I would have rather been an 80s kid.
'93 here. Honestly, I feel like I missed out a little being born as late as I was. I love my NES and OG Gameboy to death and wish I was around to play them when they were new. Not to mention all the cool shit that happened in the 80's, pop-culture wise.
a friend of the family gave me the Amiga 1200, he was like 18 when I was 3 and left me it as he went off to university. It took me years to realise that most of the games he left were pirated.
Funny thing is
I still have a floppy with the name "Virus" written on it, I've never been dumb enough to put it in, even as a 3 year old.
If you don't think I count as a '90s kid, then you can go fuck yourself. I don't remember the '80s.
And I guess it's weird that my first console was NES when I was born three years after it came out, but I guess it just means my parents liked to save money. (I'm pretty sure SNES was already out when I got NES, and N64 was probably out by the time I got SNES, but it's not like it mattered back then, since all console games were offline.) Meanwhile there are people my age who never heard of video games until N64. I'm glad NES was the foundation of my video game experience.
jesus, if I saw this when I was a kid I would have freaked the fuck out and gone on to be that kid at school
O have a better one and /v/ related
>>Do you remember when cartoon network and nintendo were screwing each other and we got constant nintendo marketing inside CN shows like dexter and the powerpuffgirls?
For anyone that wanted to fuck the everloving shit out of Ren Stevens like I did, you are now aware that she did a nude scene in Mirror 2.
I never thought I'd say this, but I kind of miss the 90s.
>being born after 1980
>literally why there is a market of half-finished games that require DLC for the complete experience
>because it's only the price of a burger
DON'T BE SO ENTITLED
We oldfucks are why the crash wasn't the end of things, we're why it's there and it got better (yw, btw). You're why it's cut-content and forced online.
9/11 killed the 90s in one stroke. The 90s was characterized by the careless attitude created by the victory over the USSR and the feeling of "everything is going to be OK from now on"
Good thing I still go through life without a care in the world. But you are right, 9/11 and the subsequent war->debt fucked the country over big time.
>having a kid at 14
>have to guess that kid's age
That's sad on multiple levels.
>The 90s was characterized by the careless attitude created by the victory over the USSR
Are you fucking kidding? is this bait?
The 90s were cynical, loaded with grunge music, the worst president in the last 100 years, the rise of DRM, and EA entering a race against MS the be the most hated company in the country. The 90s were garbage
PC WITH THIS FUCKING GAME RIGHT FUCKING HERE:
>Bill Clinton the worst President in the last 100 years
>Bill Clinton had everybody happy and with a surplus of money
Bill Clinton may have done some stupid shit (his little affair) and got caught, but he was far far far from the worst President we've had in ages and you'd be retarded to think he was.
Wow your opinion regarding society are absolute garbage. You should really consider not talking when this issues are being discussed.
Its not even a debate that the 90s were characterized by this feeling of history ending*
Also, this has no place in /v/ but Bush was president in the 00 not in the 90s
Actually I'm pretty sure the 90s were characterized by hilariously bad special effects in music videos and a lot of people who didn't know what drugs they were supposed to be doing
and also black people being hilarious in sitcoms
white kids learning how to skateboard
kids being taught that it was okay to masturbate for the first time in history
>The 60/70s were about rock smoking dope
