Should she get her own game?
How would it play? It'd need to be a big departure from the standard Metroid fare.
Have it developed by Platinum, with Prime's level design. It would be Metroid except with more enemies on screen and fun character action movement/fighting. Use upgrades and stuff as movement/exploration options. Would probably be really cool
Ugh Smash has done a horrible thing. yeah Samus is capable without her suit, but why would she ever just not use it? Why the fuck would they make a game centered around her not having the thing that's defined her character for years?
It'd be neat if they incorporated the Zero suit into a normal game though. Maybe playing a level or two in it or something but having her just not have the suit seems arbitrary.
Well since Sakamoto decided that her Power suit is now powered by stable emotions she could be having emotional difficulties and thus forced to use her Zero suit until the ass-end of the game where she finally calms down and starts wrecking shit with her Power Suit.
But I hope not, the "powered by being calm" thing is absolutely retarded and I hope it's soon forgotten about.
Yes. He said it at some point after Other M, that's why her power suit kept vanishing in cutscenes. He also said that that's why she lost it in Zero Mission (though when the game was made it had just been fucked up from the crash, which is why she needed a new one).
Having a Zero Suit segment where Samus runs around a Federation City under attack or tracking down some rogue space pirates in her casual wear could make a cool tutorial level in place of the usual linear abandoned Space Station.
A whole game about it would be stupid though, unless it was some king of action game like Next Level Games was seemingly trying to do. If it had multiple playable characters like Samus and the other hunters, having an unlockable Zero Suit mode where she used her Smash equipment would be worthwhile.
I wish. I don't have a source (I think I read it in some article after the game came out) so if it makes you feel better you can decide that I'm lying, though with a bit of Googling you can see other people talking about it too.
>Equipment that doesn't work when you're feeling stressed
Rather dumb, isn't it? If I had a Chozo designed power suit I'd only ever be able to use it at home. Even fapping and playing video games may sometimes be too much to maintain it (not that I could fap with the suit on anyways).
Fusions world is ass but the SA-X sections are pretty tense on a first playthrough and it has better combat than most of the series. The game consistently has the best bosses of the 2D titles.
Super Metroid and Zero Mission are better than it, but it does have its own appeal and I can see why people who prefer tight action games would prefer it to the more traditional styled Metroid games.
Nigger, I will fucking fight you
Nothing. Some porn star was nailing this girl and caused her to orgasm within seconds. A violent one though where she couldn't stop shaking and leaking for ages. Poor guy was only inside for a few seconds.
>blaming this shit on arguably the best games in the series
>games that have Samus's goddamn face showing in the helmet
Blame this shit on Zero Mission FFS, that's where the goddamn Zero Suit came from.
So basically Other M but too short and with a better story that has parts that feel like they should be more fleshed out?
Except you only play as Zero suit in other Me during the finale escape sequence as a reward for that retarded beetle scavenger hunt.
People over blow the ZS in Other M as if you actually play as ZS extensively.
it's the most hamfisted attempt to connect the games flaws with being the fault of "Samus outside the suit"
The idea the fanbase has is if the Zero Suit didn't exist then Sakamoto would have never had the idea to make a game about who Samus is underneath the suit.
But even in cutscenes the only time where she spends an extensive amount of time outside her suit is the Adam sacrifice one.
