The Team Cia update drops this week!
Who'll you be playing as first?
Fuck your tits.
I feel your pain, I've only unlocked one lvl3 weapon so far, so many more to go.
Watch as Wizzro's and Volga's badge mats consists of everything I've got the least of.
Does it come with the first DLC pack too?
I want my Hilda re-color.
How often do we get to play as the love child of a Poe, Wizzrobe, and Wallmaster?
Yeah, they're dropping on the same day, Thursday.
About time I get to play as a bullet-hell boss
>still have one T3 weapon left to get before the update
Epona, 5 story missions, adventure map, recolors and Cia/Lana og outfit.
Yeah, I'm a bit annoyed that the merged Laciana/whoever is just white in white clothes. It would've been nice if they'd kept her brown skin; at least she would've been distinctive that way. But nah, Cia's reskin is white and all of Lana's recolors are white.
Can't screw up that OC Miku idol by making her look different, now can we?
I don't *think*so, but I haven't heard one way or the other.
Twilight Princess Pack - November 2014
New weapon for an unspecificed character
New Adventure Mode Map
2 new costumes
Majora's Mask Pack - January 2015
2 new characters
New Adventure Mode Map
3 new costumes
Ganon Pack - Feburary 2015
2 new game modes
You cant complete Adventure without doing Legends. So you can bounce back and forth between the two or just do Legends once and go through Adventure.
To be fair, Cia's just as cute and her expressions really pop out in the time observer costume.
That looks like an evil wedding dress...
Tips for Great Fairy?
C4 drops bombs on everything and is a great keep/minion sweeper. C3 is pretty decent for taking out Raid and Outpost Captains, and similar troops. C6 is just devastating. C5 is nice with it's draw-in effect, but is hard to use after a dash forward. All her heavy attacks at the end of combos leave her invulnerable, so you don't need to worry about being hit during any of them. Don't forget her standard combo, which hits a lot of times and smacks everything away with that water kick. You can dodge to jump out of her end laugh animation at the end of that.
Dodging is the real problem. It's harder to tell where her hit box is, because she's so much larger. You'll probably spend most time dodging a few times and starting combos from a little bit away, just so you hit with the end or get into the invulnerable state before something can hit you.
Also, feel free to spam the super liberally. She hits enough to recharge it quickly.
That'd be pretty great. Seeing as its coming out last, its hopefully something pretty substantial.
Going to level one of the DLC characters to 99 with rupees when they come out. Volga seems to be really good from the videos I've watched, Wizzro looks cool. Cia is Cia, but I guess I'll try them all out before wasting all my rupees,
That's a hard one. Have Link be above 70 and get the best Great Fairy you have and give her Strength IV. Your basic strategy should be to abuse GF's combos for their massive AoE and invincibility frames, especially C4 because the bombs wreck the Shield Moblins. Start out by going to Zant and killing him so he won't wreck Lana and your allied base, use C1 if you need more damage but keep your eyes open for Shield Moblins because they'll knock off like 5 hearts if you get smacked in that state. Once you kill Zant he should drop a full magic bar, use it to cap the castle keep to the south and work clockwise for around the map and capture all 4 keeps. When you pass by Ghirahim drop a few moons on him to weaken him for your allies. Hopefully you'll be fast enough to capture all 4 for the mission without one being stolen. The last one is right beside Cia so rush her down and spam more AoEs on her keep. This should get you enough kills and you'll wear down Cia pretty easily. Kill her before 15 minutes and you should be fine.
It makes expanding the map initially a lot more forgiving since about 11 of the first 24 squares will be 1 minute games. So people wouldn't give the game mode up after 3 maps and an hour when they waste their cards before they figure out the true relevance of the compass.
I think this game is fun but I'm not great at it and get real fucking frustrated with the bullshit "kill 1000 enemies also here's like 7 bosses to fuck you up okay good luck" missions.
How do I git gud so the DLC would be worthwhile?
Pretty easy, but bear in mind that the Fairy is pretty slow, so when you take a keep, kill anything with a healthbar around it so you don't have to crawl across the map to retake it, it's very easy to go over time if you have to do that.
Spam C1 until you get Gohma or Argorok, do the combo, ??????, keep is yours. Only issue is that it lags the game at times.
Zant's mission forced me to sort of cheat with co-op. Since I don't have friends I parked Zant in the place where one of the captains spawn south of the keep because enemies don't go there and used Link because I don't know how to fucking play Zant worth a game. Even trying to meatgrinder on Ghirahim at the end was too slow because he has so much fucking health if you're using a darkness weapon.
>"kill 1000 enemies also here's like 7 bosses to fuck you up okay good luck" missions
Use Midna. She's a pro at sucking scattered enemies in and being fast at it.
Anyone want to explain this?
Normal-normal-normal-dodge just tears through groups like you wouldn't believe. Peg the Gohma with the daggers and they won't fire those eye lasers at you. Or even better, if they're nearby, you can lock onto them and just tear through the grunts while watching them.
Great Fairy actually doesn't move that slowly, it's just that she's so huge it's hard to notice here moving across the battlefield at the same speed. Her attacks are big and sweeping and take awhile to pull off, especially if you're trying to hit a single target when moving all over the place.
Those are pretty much "Do you know what your character's best AoE moves are and are they high enough level?". There's some skill in knowing how to kite enemies and what not, but if you can't reliably kill a giant boss in two weakpoint smashes, you're not supposed to be doing that level.
Also, don't go out of your way to kill anyone with a name or a healthbar outside of the first and maybe second giant boss, just kill the guys around them and move on, since generals still only count for one kill.
Ice-skating is great.
Dashing repeatedly with Fi is actually faster than running, hilariously enough.
Yeah, the deku stick's the most fun.
The tome that summons THE BOX is pretty good too, but a little too unsafe for my taste.
I love Spelltome. Using C4x3, push it forward and dodge-run at it and use C1 while it's in motion: amazing.
She definitely seems to move slower to me, but either way, the point is that she moves at a speed that means you can't run back across the map during the T3 unlock, so you need to clear the keeps you take and the surroundings of captains and generals. Most other T3's will tolerate a bit of sloppiness and looping around on that front.
It says right on the site that it might take a little for it to appear.
>you will never impregnate Impa after a romantic weekend on the beach
>she will never be frustrated that she can't go out and fight and has to stay home, pouting
>you will never rub her belly everyday
Fuck. Also shit that nagita is ridiculous.
>Ganondorf is a huge pussy on the battlefield
Fuck Zant T3. DEFEND YOURSELF YOU STUPID ASSHOLE.
You're sorely mistaken if you think the Majora's Mask pack comes without Majora's Mask skull kid.
>Those MM choices
oh god no.
Have you played any kind of crowd fighter?
I mean the closest real parallel is a traditional Beat 'em Up. Waves of worthless enemies, a handful of moderate challenges, then bosses. But it's a very loose comparison still.
Maybe? If you like Zelda then you'll probably get the best experience as you can get.
But seriously, I've seen plenty people get into the game with low expectations and getting a lot out of it.
Thats a toss-up. I've never played Dynasty Warriors and have been enjoying the game since release. Also not a big Zelda fan either, so it was a big surprise to me.
By staying the fuck away from them.
captchas? Yeah, they're fucking with me too.
That's okay, I guess.
The Cia cosplay has been pretty disappointing. Ok fine, you dont have the chest for it, but at least attempt to get the hair and skin-tone right. This was just my experience from NYCC, I dont see anyone getting her right.
Chaotic Seeds, Pixiv. Or check rule34xxx
Kill all the grunts, ignore the captains/named characters, stay away from the bosses. Unless it's Gohma you should be able to avoid the large bosses for the most part, or end up just running past them to the next group. Don't waste time trying to kill them or the named characters. Don't worry about the morale buffs either, as you should still be killing drones in a few hits with it.
It looks pretty hard to get right, what with both the jewelry, details, having it stay on and whatever. Still hoping that someone will do it justice someday.
This Zelda one is amazing though.
Ganondorf gets swamped by two Stalmasters, two Aeraflos, a Shield Moblin, Sheik, and a few other things in that one. He also stands outside the keep like an idiot rather than fighting where he can get support, although then again, I guess losing a keep and fighting them as well would be worse.
At that point, he had JUST came back and so nobody was listening to him. He needed to kick in some shit to get stuff done.
Did he have many stalfos by himself, outside what the Darknuts brought?
yeah, they're tough fuckers. I will wait a second and hit them with an arrow and then jet across the map to continue the mission.
HW is the only game that I've had gamepad issues with. Whenever it dc's, it reconnects, but only part way, so I'm stuck with the big error message even while cutscenes are playing on the pad. So I have to restart missions from the beginning. Thanks a lot, Nintendo.
check paheal or similar site and you'll find it quickly.
Lock onto it and get better at throwing those knives at stuff off-screen. Stun it with the arrow and then drop the lock-on, since unless he is considerably overpowered you aren't likely to kill it. Don't be afraid to run off and take out a different group if things are getting troublesome. You should be able to wipe out most of a group even before Gohma catches up to you. The real problem is when one takes a shot with their laser from a distance.
If all else fails, just come back at lv.50 or so with Ghirahim's T3 weapon. You could probably one-shot them at that point.
sounds bad. Havent had that happen to me and I play often off-tv.
Sounds like he did a little bit of necromancy, then. Probably understandable, since he'd just came back from the dead himself. Or maybe those were his moblin followers from the last time he was alive, still enslaved to him.
Just got the game, doing the lava place as Impa.
Is there any benefit to making ALL the rooms blue?
Or just do whats needed?
Come to think of it; he does mutter to Zant and Peppermint Kisses about "Perishing again". So that's probably the real excuse for his startup.
Though why he wouldn't revive Volga is beyond me.
Controling keeps controls the army spawns. Which controls area.
Largely there's no overarching need to win. But wining certain keeps grants a chest. So you could make a habit of it.
He also brought back Wingus and Dingus from the dead and told them he'd send them right back if they didn't serve him.
To finish the mission? Usually not. In legend mode the quarter heart piece will always be in a chest that pops out from taking over a keep while the full heart is hidden either under a rock you need to blow up or somewhere you have to hookshort or whatever.
In adventure mode both heart pieces will always be hidden in keeps.
Not particularly, no. In Legend you can do whatever and still win though.
Adventure is a whole other beast. You'll mostly have to A-rank maps there to progress (and get new shit), and taking every keep just takes too much time for that.
there's a weapon skill, I think Compatriot, that will increase attack power the more rooms you have under your control.
Also you'll sometimes find hidden chests in rooms you clear, definitely in adventure mode.
Tactically, enemy captains will feel the need to take over your rooms before continuing whatever they were headed to do in the first place, so you can use it as a way to stall their movement while you go off doing other side-missions.
She hid her scouter camera under the mask and took a billion pictures of Link. She's uploading them to her crystal orb.
If you're starting out, then Keep Bosses and Outpost Captains will drop materials that you need for basic upgrades. Clearing them all out is a good idea.
Other than that? Not really. Sometimes you will want to capture a keep so that advancing forces waste their time retaking it rather than marching on your Allied Base, or something similar. Some of those random keeps will occasionally be holding a heart piece or treasure chest. Beyond that, you can complete a mission without taking all the keeps. Generally just wiping out the main generals and the current Raid Captains will keep your situation stable long enough to finish off the final boss.
>>We need some with straight up african features
No we don't.
