Spam Shock Wave and you've won every battle against these faggots.
>Walrein doesn't get a mega evo
Wonderful. I actually thought tate and liza were both girls the first time around. How embarrassing.
>skinny little toothpick thin white girls
I don't think you know what delicious thighs even look like.
Really tempted to get Omega Ruby just for her. I must have some self control.
>tan to reflect tropical island theme
>no more fingerless gloves bullshit
>no more shorts over pants bullshit
>no more stupid hat that looks like hair so there's no confusion
Best pokeboy yet
H-hey anon...I'll be your rival again. I've grown stronger and even mastered mega evolution...p-prepare yourself...
I love ORAS Brendan, but he's no Platinum Lucas
>something about Orlando is pissing me off and I can't put my finger on what, exactly, it is
probably his shit eating grin
Contest idol. She has an Altaria that can mega evolve and gives you your contest clothes. She's probably gonna tear your ass open like Jasmine does in the Plantinum contest.
\Gen VI Pokemon designs look like fucking twigs.
What happened to Remake Water loli legs?
>Mega Bracelet looks to big
Pretty much the character overall is unappealing. This is probably the first game I'm going to choose playing as a girl.
What a cancerous movie. What's the obsession?
Don't know yet. GF said something along the lines that they don't like that people just wait until the 3rd game of a gen and that they are predictable. They might go and make XX and XY and then change it up next gen.
Who do you want to see more, a cute shy girl or a smelly pirate hooker?
That's what I thought.
Whoops forgot muh image. This shit is just so...ehhhhhhh.
>Those fucking stats
I really hope they don't fuck up Mega Slowking..
Beedrill-M Stats: 65/150/40/15/80/145
Slowbro-M Stats: 95/75/180/130/80/30
Here's her mega. Don't let its fluffyiness fool you. Its destined to kill everything.
He ain't got shit on this.
Wrong image, fuck.

>Postgame rematch team
>After the point where everyone transfers their level 100 fully trained shit from the last game.
Ain't. Got. Shit.
>mfw I saw that animation
The Mega Gardevior and Mega Mawile of this game.
Flygon was my emerald bro, Gallade was my platinum and X bro, Pidgeot was one of my favorites since gen 1 and my sub bro for X, and Beedrill was also one of my favorites since gen 1. Tough shit.
Why not do it based on a stat instead of a type? Speedy mons would be pretty cool.
I am not sure how I feel about this, I am not sure if I like it or if the anger is taking a while to register... I just don't know anymore.
>Blue X really kills it for me.
Fixed that for you
And then there's this asshole who's too good for primal evolution. Faggot.
And lastly the starters.
you're backed into a corner BECAUSE you didn't use a mega beedrill or mega salamence instead
and glalie retains his trademark shitty balanced stats, with 140 attack at least it would have been believable to run spikes taunt explosion return
Oh shit he looks like a man with a dream!
Yes. It now has a 100% accurate Dark type move with a power of 100.
Wizeman fuck off back to NiGHTs.
>there are people on /v/ right now that don't think omega groudon is baller as fuck
>this fucking thread
So this is how Nintendo target their market. This is an E-rated game, and you got these women with such child-bearing hips. What the fuck are you doing Nintendo
I'm so hard right now
Okay so which game is going to get me the delicious brown sluts. I remember the teams you fight being reversed in the original game (aqua for ruby, magma for sapphire) Will it be the same situation in these games?
Shaymin's the little hedgehog right? I'll give you that, that's a neat idea for a legendary. Victini and Manaphy are eh, Giratina has the overdesigned original character do not steal problem that all modern legendaries seem to have.
Seriously, how does this kind of shit end up on a game cover? Was there really someone at GameFreak who thought "yeah, that does in fact look good"?
The Kyurems at least have a reason to be the way they are.
Still not as overdesigned as Entei.
Also you seem to think that overdesigned is always bad. Hint: it isn't, just like simple isn't always bad as well.
And how is Giratina overdesigned?
MegaBee don't fuck around
Huh, thats weird? I could have sworn the games had reversed teams. Though it might be just my memory fucking with me since every single copy of ruby, sapphire, or emerald I've ever owned was stolen from me at some point before I could make it halfway through the game.
Maybe this time, ill be able to beat it, and finally have the complete childhood I've always wanted ;_;
With these defences, it'll need a miracle to survive a single turn so it can at least land an attack. Mega Evolution wastes a turn, don't forget this.
Gen 3 is one of the best, anon, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, they shit on it because it was "in" at the time. So they never played it and just parrot what they read online.
See you at the end of November.
>The Kyurems at least have a reason to be the way they are.
Does that really matter? You can come up with any story around why something looks as it is, design comes first.
I don't like the legendary dogs either, they were pretty much the start of this. There's something weird going on with legendaries getting more Digimonized in the later generations.
>And how is Giratina overdesigned?
Seriously? This looks like something you'd see "nothing personell... kid.." on devianart from. There's no real cohesion here except the colour scheme, with weird wing-claw things that look like they've been randomly added. Overdesigned refers to adding random elements that don't really work together (or at least that's what I meant) - something like Ho-Oh has a lot of detail and different parts, but they're very coherent together. This thing is just awkward looking.
I like the way that artist draws Pokegirls.
>Mega Evolution wastes a turn, don't forget this
except it doesn't? you select mega evolve and then an attack. the attack is done right after mega evolving
if you don't believe me this vid right here shows just that >>267987816
It was Dragon/
Don't blame yourself. Nowadays Pokemon remakes are just an excuse to make a new Pokemon game without actually having to go to the work of creating a new world. It's obvious from the overkill of Gen VI pokemon and the drastic redesigns which basically reinvent already established characters.
It's a 6 legged anti-matter space dragon.
I'm sure in a world of living toxic waste, man made holograms kept as pets, green "haired" waifumons and two nods to the goddamn Monkey King, they're allowed to whatever fuck Monster Design they please.
I still haven't played Platinum, too bad the games super expensive now.
Not even once. I prefer its origin forme.
>>tan to reflect tropical island theme
This train of thought is a failure unless you play as May
The one you play as was a city kid supposedly, before moving to the middle of nowhere Hoenn at the start of the game. Still works out for them pretty well and all.
I sure hope not.
I don't want a watered down region. Plus it's kin of missing the point that GameFreak wants to keep the journey short and sweet so you can spend more time online.
Iris is so cute.
>hon-hon-hon I'll spell "form" in French to look cultured
My only problem with Iris is her hair style. I prefer something more like pic related.
that's just what that artist enjoys drawing.
Kanto was pretty much run in any direction you want once you solved like ONE major problem at the power plant.
So yeah, Kanto was pretty empty aside from the gyms in Gold/Silver + remakes. Was nice to go to the game corner and hear some old tunes but that's pretty much it.
Haha anon, you're not fooling me into thinking the people at Gamefreak would be so retarded as to spell the easy word "form" wrong. Back to France with you, dirty snaileater.
Yeah, having the E4 at lv40, Gym Leaders with no Johto Pokémon save a few exceptions, making the TWO EXCLUSIVE TYPES mainly postgame, having the postgame where it was impossible to level due to weak trainers and LEVEL 6 WILD POKEMON AFTER THE E4, the shittiest villain team ever, Kanto being void of things to do save beating the gym leaders AND being ruined with places like Safari Zone, Cinnabar, Unknown Dungeon and others being replaced by nothingness.
Think again. Forgot to say that even the main gym leaders were weak, or almost the same level. When the seventh gym leader has lv29 Pokémon you know something is wrong.
Why do grown men obsess over shit aimed at kids?
I'm not even trying to be insulting. I just don't get the pokemon generation.
It's not like my generation bases their entire existence around Transformers and GI Joe, just because we grew up with them.
Huh, I had more problems with G/S than any other game since. Whitney, dragonlady, Lance and Red were pretty major hurdles for me while I never had any problems in the later games.
Team Rocket of RBY is cool.
But i sixtuple dare you to tell me GSC Rocket isn't anything but pathetic.
HGSS didn't resolve this either. Only thing it done was giving it the nice admins that it needed and the cool-ass Giovanni battle.
What are you on about? Those were gym leader Pokemon levels that were pretty much the same throughout the games. Some games have more stuff to do between gyms, making some seem underlevelled and some overlevelled, but G/S isn't really weird in that aspect. They weren't really weak at all.
I don't know, I always thought they were fucking rad, hijacking the Radio Tower and hearing their team tune everywhere. I always liked Team Rocket in both games because they were just mafia/a bunch of thugs, rather than the DESTROY THE WORLD bullshit later on.
It depends how much you get into it. If you're starting from scratch, you have to build a balanced team, breed them correctly so they have the right IVs, natures, egg moves and ability, then train them so they have the right EVs, then make them work together in a battle.
There are little girls in Senran Kagura as well. Pokemon is also largely populated by adults and teens. Pic related is my favorite.
>Pokemon is also largely populated by adults and teens
And guess what it's AIMED at.
>DESTROY THE WORLD
So far only two organizations intended that.
Aqua and Magma came from good intentions and Plasma was more about dominance, but leaving the world as is. Granted, Flare was the only organization in the world that thought to control Pokéball circulation in its plans which was very much lacking on Ghetsis' end.
>They don't rely solely on dumb anime tropes
We just pretend not to notice you.
I love Pokémon ladies, but you're full of shit on that one.
I guess I meant not literally destroy the world (although Magma and Aqua did that), but more that they have these bigger, more world-changing plans that got more and more ridiculous through time. I appreciate the simple greed and thuggishness of Team Rocket, made them seem more real than all the others, who just looked like lunatics.
I like the Pokegirls, but there's no real three-dimensional character to be found at all.
Doesn't matter man. The medium is always going to be looked at as a children's hobby. A toy.
You calling out something in videogames as kids' stuff even if there is an actual intended skill gap for shit like flight sims and the like, outsiders are going to see it as all the same thing.
Glass house, anon. Drop those stones.
Well intentioned Extremeism is is still Extremeism considering their plan was just to royally cheese off the Legendary of the week and take over the spoils. That's why Rayquaza had to descend from heaven and slap their shit.
Not that Gheistis made any sense since nobody listens to Peta in real life.
Rocket - Mafia that wished to rule the world in the shadows, slowly taking over big corporations
Rocket - We want our boss back
Magma - Lets expand the landmass using the Pokemon that can create new land, so we can make a profit off all this new land and people will have more room to live. It's bullet proof until we can't control this Pokemon
Aqua - Lets flood the fucking Earth, and then instantly regret that exact thing.
4th Gen - Lets create a new universe, because our boss is a loner who doesn't like this world, wants to create a new one for himself. Also we'll end up destroying this universe or something
Plasma - Lets pretend like we're Green Peace, when really we want to be the only ones who have Pokemon so we can rule over these lesser fools.
Flare - There's too many people, lets kill 90% of them so that we can manage the other 10% decently. It's the only way to save humanity.
>They weren't really weak at all.
Let's compare two Ice Leaders.
Remember that XY has basically no postgame content and that in no game there's much difference between 7th and 8th gym levels and that XY is supposed to "the easiest game".
I don't want to mention how pathethic Bugsy was, either.
> You will never be able to dress your hair like that
Life is truly suffering
Sorry, but nah. G/S does end with levels about 10 underneath XY, but it's very close to R/S. I don't think I ever had any problems with any XY gyms either, while I got fucking murdered by Whitney and Claire. Level isn't the only thing that dictates difficulty.
Cyrus wanting to become God was executed fairly well, since you got to see what lengths Galactic went through to achieve said goal. You knew that they had to be stopped since you saw the kind of damage being done before they got their legendaries and after capturing the Lake Trio.
Plasma was a hindrance and nothing but that. Their motives were paper thin, honestly. It was still cool seeing all the Gym Leaders fight for you so you could face off the final boss.
Flare came off as comical at first, until the doomsday device.
I didn't like how the gym leaders borked themselves. Like im pretty sure not single one of them had more than 3 pokes and didn't even the e4 champ only have like 5?
What happened to leaders having like 6 pokes towards the end? The only "challenge" was getting to the height of royalty in that one place near the daycare. And even after a while that became piss easy.
Give us some single player challenge GF, please.
It's aimed at neckbeards.
>flooding the earth with water or magma
>making a new universe by destroying the old one
>let's murder almost everyone
Like I said in >>267994448 don't take "DESTROY THE WORLD" completely literally, you got what I meant. Plasma is the only one who's really exempt here anyway.
>and fuck all the Pokemon I can.
Did you mean to say Pokegirls? I'll assume you meant to say Pokegirls.
I don't know, I always kind of hated the idea of "God Pokemon" and shit like Cyrus as shown >>267992387 feels like it belongs in a B-grade anime or something.
If you like that stuff, fair enough. I prefer the more down to earth Rocket. I haven't played X or Y though, so I don't know how they are.
Magma never intended to destroy anything, they were going to make a profit creating new land to sell, which more people could live on, rather than destroying the world.
It's Aqua that was the retard one without any viable plan that made sense by any measure.
It's also Magma that realizes they fucked up faster in Emerald when shit goes down, and they can't control Groudon as the entire plan gets fucked.
>G/S does end with levels about 10 underneath XY, but it's very close to R/S.
Yeah. Thing is it ends like that AGAINST THE 16TH GYM LEADER. XY and RSE ended their levels with the E4.
As for levels not being part of the difficult, keep reading..
To start it off, no gym leader ever had a full team bar Blue in GSC. Second, the number of Pokémon has no bearing on the difficulty. Giovanni had five Pokémon? One of them was a goddamn Rhyhorn, which is weak by that point. In FRLG he doesn't even have Rhydon anymore. Wallace has five Pokémon? He has no Walrein, he has a Sealeo which is weak by that point of the game. AND HE HAS A GODDAMN LUVDISC. The majority of gym leaders and E4 with 5-6 Pokémon have either super weak mons or unevolved ones.
Plasma is Rocket 2.0, how is it "close enough" at all?
>Bombing the lakes, leaving Magikarp to die
>The creepy laboratory with the Lake Trio in tubes
All I had to go on with Rocket was killing Cubone's mother and hijacking Silph Co. That's fine and all, but it doesn't really give me the tension to beat these guys other than progress the plot.
My problem with Team Rocket is that their goal wasn't REALLY that evil. I mean Pokémon was a business to them, which is more understandable than condemning really.
Anything besides that was more of something secondary material and fanfluff did to fill in the gaps. If not nostalgic favoritism.
And the second?
Well yeah, an illegal business based around stealing and extorting shit, hurting Pokemon. It's not huge, but they're clearly bad guys. I like that kind of Pokemon world Beagle Boys idea much more than the giant world take-overs. It made for fun interactions with disguises and hideouts and all, rather than the long villain monologues about DNA or gods or whatever the fuck they came up with now that wasn't really ever to be taken seriously.
But eh, whatever you prefer.
She's one of my favorites, of course I'd pound her.
We would have some hot fucking.
>Dawn redesign is coming soon
>mfw she will probably lose her glorious hips
>Yeah. Thing is it ends like that AGAINST THE 16TH GYM LEADER.
I didn't include that, obviously.
>Plasma is Rocket 2.0, how is it "close enough" at all?
Try reading the rest of the post.
