What animes deserve a vidya adaptation?
I could go for a Panty and Stocking action game.
>weapon form changing
>switch between Panty and Stocking on the fly
>unlockable Scanty and Kneesocks mode
>unlockable costumes and weapons
made by Platinum
Finally, you can feel new levels of shame as your family walks in on a cutscene of a mostly naked demon wielding a dildo as a weapon.
log horizon MMO with 20 years of updates when?
From the top of my head:
A game set in the Noein world would be awesome and somehow super comfy
An open world Mushishi game where you travel the country side.
A real .hack game with both a playable real world mystery plot and the ability to freely go into the game as well.
A Terra Formars musou.
>weakest enemies can kill you in 2 hits
>on the easiest difficulty
I need more JOHJ in my life.
4 player Flamenco Beat em up where you play as Hazama, Goto, MMM girls, Red Axe, Harakiri Sunshine, and Red Axe
>wrote red Axe twice
I clearly meant to say Flamengers
This is basically the best answer
>Sandbox MMO where the game world is a destroyed/overgrown earth at half scale, by horse it can take weeks to travel from city to city
>interesting classes, races
>events, open world PvP, huge 100 man PvE raids
>all that exploration and comfy
>start computer science class at uni because I don't know what the fuck to do
>don't know shit about programming
>have to write my first program
>end up having kill followed by break in my code
>suddenly, Red Axe theme starts playing in my head
KILL AND BREAK
KILL AND BREAK
On episode 10. Why is everything so gay? I thought Tiger and Bunny was pretty homo, and I actually wouldn't mind a T&B vidya, but somehow this is even more homo.
Fucking open-world-dogfighting-bounty-hunter-space-simulater with an awsome soundtrack.
Kill la Kill would have been better as a video game than an anime
Preferably with a better ending in story-mode than the anime one.
> Any shooting game: Press Trigger to win.
> Any Platformer: Press Jump to win.
> Any Racing game: Press Accelerate to win.
Why is every single game genre shit? All you do is pressing buttons.
Nononono, Treasure should be busy making that Precure-game.
I actually was hoping for some sort of futuristic robot mystery at the beginning with sexual tension between Re-al or however her name was spelled and that monster from episode 1. But then it got disappointing.
It's been years since I've watched but I just have a hazy memory of boredom and Iggy having that gay lisp thing.
Wasn't that episode just the fight between Hazama and
how am I forgetting his name right now
Well, I didn't like it.
Okay, it isn't complete shit, I've seen way worse.
It has a great start, and it fools you.
It goes quickly to a jumbled mess and the midsection is completely pointless concerning the overarcing story.
It tries to be profound but I was bored out of my mind most of the time.
I finished it to see if the plot would redeem itself in the end and what would happen, but it was a mistake.
Mononoke. Think about it.
Unique art style.
Medicine seller wanders throughout many centuries.
Point n Click/Puzzles to investigate nature of the evil spirits.
Most cases end with a boss battle, each mononoke requires a different strategy to beat.
the ending to the anime is a bit confusing, if she
really was gonna betray him all along, then why did she care about him in many moments? did they just decided to pull off a twist near the ending while the script was almost complete and couldn't re-write it? or was it always planned?
it doesnt make much sense, perhaps one should rewatch it to understand everthing
>being so autistic that even among your fellow animeyfags you go full on fedoramode on whether a shitty animey/cartoon is in fact a shitty animey/cartoon or not
Fantastic, please post some more
Torture? I honestly am a bit disappointed with the way things are turning out. I went in blind and by episode 5 I was expecting things to turn out like that one movie where that kid dresses up like a super hero to fight crime and Nicholas Cage was involved. But then it went full Power Rangers with death.
>implying this is a vidya thread
>imypling this isn't just a thinly veiled what animey should I watch guis
Animeyfags disgust me and should kill themselves or go to their own board
ITT: everyone just posts their favorites without thinking how well would it translate to video game medium.
>by horse it can take weeks to travel from city to city
Only way I could see this working is if you could pick your starting city. Nobody wants to spend weeks trying to meet up with their friends.
When are we going to get full immersion virtual reality like in Digimon World 3?
Just because you don't think the argument is valid
Does not make it so
You've been proven wrong and now you're just playing the "but that's retarded" game
And that's really fucking retarded
oh, okay, maybe like he >>268272368 said she fell in love, maybe I'll go back and watch the scene
nice spoilers faget, and yes she did, but she revealed to him she was gonna betray him as she lay dying
Not him but I'm not that much into action games nor am I good at video games generally. I easily beat MGR on hard on my first playthrough just by mashing square and triangle and occasionally parrying.
darker than black: tactical espionage operations
it would fit perfectly.
Yotsuba dating-sim when?
Why is Fuuka so fucking perfect?
i would of been fine without all the twists happening. A student fighting her way to the top of the class was a cool enough concept that it could of held the show. But the 'its actually aliens' shit was just weird
I always wanted a Last Exile game.
One with vanship racing and ship-to-ship combat.
In the game there were teleporters between all the major cities, but in the show they were all offline
also, if you were a xxpro_raiderxx you could get a flying mount, but they were rare
not really, do you?
if I missed something then what was it?
or is that your take on it?
>all those Platinum-Gainax-wishes
>when it should be obvious which game they should make from them
I enjoyed it because of how over the top it got. Same with Panty and Stocking and Guren Lagann. But I agree, it could have been Ryuuko fighting her way to the top and Mako confess her love at the end.
How have I been proven wrong?
I haven't even said anything except that semantics based arguments are shit.
They're roundabout and largely pointless, because it isn't about arguing the nature or relevant context of the subject, but the words used to describe it. Everyone and their dog has a different way of saying things and different naming conventions.
Non-Japanese context, anime = Japanese cartoons, an entertainment media medium. Japanese context, anime = animation, a entertainment media medium. You would not use 'anime' to describe all forms of animation unless you are Japanese or a weeaboo (as in the actual definition of weebaoo). This is not up for discussion or argument.
-I was never fooled, nor disappointed.
-The midsection is one of the most important parts of the story and not only serves to tie all of the elements together and expand things, but sets the stage for the conclusion. There was nothing jumbled, it was quite coherent.
-It doesn't try to be anything. You just thought it did, so that became what it "was" to you. (Am I trying to be profound too?)
-The ending was one of the best endings I'd seen in quite a long time. Extremely well done.
You didn't like it, fine enough. I liked it because it was relateable and felt highly relevant at the time. The themes just appeal to me in general. All of them. Together and woven interestingly. It had soul, and contrary to what you've tried to imply, I don't at all think it was trying to be anything or cared to impress you with some "profound" nature. It seemed far more personal, and the director even said he chose the title because it "sounded cool". And the way the episodes were made... the Eternal Smile, the game show, just no. I had a "fun" air to it in a lot of the episodes reminiscent of more episodic shows.
Now ask yourself this, even if it was trying to be profound (for who knows why), does it really matter?
