I don't play co-op, partially for that reason. Partially because I just prefer playing at my own pace, without someone randomly shouting "you don't need to explore that, I'm going ahead".
>monkey from brazil that cant even speak proper english and doesnt spellcheck his comics
Remember when videogames was for losers?
Same happening to 4chan appearantly.
>He wants a bunch of normal fags to visit the rest of 4chan rather than going through the shit filter that is /b/
That's the problem currently with 4chan. /b/ is now no longer the filter of assholes and sick shit that prevents idiots from reaching the other boards before they're ready.
Wait, you mean to tell me that this isn't an edit?
that one that /co/ seems to love solely because theres a transgender character in it and the author thinks its progressive whilst every other person just finds the fact that the girl has a dick is hot
>whilst every other person just finds the fact that the girl has a dick is hot
Is that supposed to be something new?
She's the female version of soldier that the artist just randomly made up, because he got rid of his old side character for some reason and the other old side character just entirely disappeared.
It's common knowledge that the author of nerfnow browses /v/.
The fact that this surprises any of you is disgusting.
>that friend from real life so you can't just kick him from your L4D2 game
>that friend who spams Rochelle's laughter constantly throughout the game until you hate it
In all seriousness, Loss.
It's like the Plan 9 of webcomics. It's not just that it's badly written and drawn. It's not just that that it brought an arc to its conclusion in the worst possible way. It's not just that Fuckley is possibly the most horrible person in webcomics. It's become the ur-example for bad webcomics. It's the Homelands of webcomics. It's the Daikatana of webcomics. Call it whatever you like, it's the one thing people think of when they're asked about "bad webcomics".
Contrariwise, what is the BEST webcomic ever?
Pic related, the series, not this specific one.
well /co/ was having a fucking party a few weeks back when it seemingly seemed like the trannie and the main character were going to fuck. then the trannie's mother got invited over.
Almost everyone that browses the english internet has heard of 4chan. Most people just think it's like the deepest and darkest pit of the internet, and might go to /b/ once and freak out. Also when shit like "the fappening" happens and 4chan gets on the news, we get flooded with underage newfags.
Nedroid. This is objective and unarguable truth
>that friend who's always super competitive in co-op games
>that friend who's always blaming the team for everything
>that friend who sprints ahead on the last segment of every L4D 1/2 map, ensuring everything spawns between him and the rest of the team, and then watches the team die while yelling "just run like me, I survived"
Maybe I just have shitty friends?
Johnny Wander or Wasted Talent.
Neither of them are /v/ related though. I have never found a /v/ related comic that can be considered 'best.' Good? Maybe. Penny Arcade is hit and miss, Fanboys is pretty good but updates far too slowly, vg cats is the same problem but getting better about updating, and then there's the slew of other comics that update more often but aren't as good.
SNAFU Comics back in the day. The owner of the site did multiple purges of his comics from his high school and early college days. Managed to dig one up from when Something Awful used it as their Awful Link of the Day back in 2003.
I honestly have no idea how that site lasted long enough to become the hub site for artists like Bleedman.
>there are people out there who think your shitposting, some shitty gore and cp are the worst things on the internet.
I just looked on the FAQ page on his tumblr
>Reginald is a pterodactyl
>They would be voiced by Bobcat Goldthwait and Gilbert Gottfried. It doesn’t matter who plays who
I used to read that fucking powerpuff girls/billy&mandy afteryears shit
>it's been 10+ years and it's still going
I better catch up
>mfw in real life people talk about how they go on tumblr or reddit, and they take a step back away from me when I say I go on 4chan
I honestly don't get it.
Now that the dust has settled, we can agree that 8-bit Theater was the best vidya webcomic, right?
Doesn't he do that one comic with a metric fuckton of cartoon characters with a dash of OC mashed together in a single universe?
I liked it seeing my favorite cartoon characters continue their lives and interacting with others was pretty neat
Was that really him, though?
I just thought the art was coincidental.
Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Dexter's Lab, BIlly and Mandy, Invader ZIM, Men in Black to list a few. The absolute insanity of it is golden. It's a good, fun read, but good lord.
>he did fusionfall's artwork
Now that you mention it, I can see the similarities.
Scott has the same problem as Buckley but in a different medium
The fucker draws way too many fucking panels to get to the punchline. Usually the punchline is I MADE A FUNNY FACE with the build up being LOOK AT ALL THESE FUNNY FACES I AM MAKING! along with a dated reference to OoT or some other old as fuck game everyone's already played to death.
From what I've seen it's a bit like Stockholm syndrome.
What was originally just supposed to be a countdown to tranny fucking/handstabbing grew into people actually being interested in the comic.
The greatest marketing ploy that ever was.
Also, reminder that /co/ would fuck anything.
I thought some of the character interactions were pretty clever.
>Jack is tasked with training Buttercup
>Tries to teach her discipline and inner peace to sharpen her fighting skill
>One rough fight, he gets knocked out, she's getting tossed around
>"Remember your inner voice... inner voice... OH SCREW THAT!"
>Goes on a smashing spree
His biggest mistake is that he seems to think that any joke can work regardless of the medium.
I remember there was one comic where a joke involved R.O.B. turning around slowly. At least six panels to show that. All for a final punchline that a system was dying, or something.
He recently made some comics making fun of upcoming games or newly released games. It's not like all his jokes are old jokes.
Even his OOT joke was less about the game itself than about Link and the fact that he never says an actual word.
>billy is dead
>mandy married grim
>aku is 90% shapeshifted into a woman
>has a lesbian daughter
