>Cubic Ninja pulled from the Japanese eShop as 3DS homebrew approaches
>Mfw you idiots bought that shit for no reason because Nintendo would obviously notice a shitty shovelware game just shot up in price over 300%
>Mfw Cubic Ninja 2 is made by Ubisoft because they think their game is a cult hit
Nintendo's only nuking eShop copies. They can't do shit about physical copies, and apparently this exploit can't be patched over through system software updates the same way Twilight Hack was for Wii.
Ubisoft's incompetent ass lead to the game being the gateway to homebrew in the first place
Which will get patched and re-released, same with physical copies from here on out. The copies of this game that do exist before a patch is made are all one of a kind
Grats Smealum, you just made a shitty shovelware game ridiculously valuable. Expect the price to skyrocket soon
It already is. Also it's out of print and the developer is dead.
>Which will get patched and re-released, same with physical copies from here on out.
>Developers are dead
>Game isn't even being produced anymore
>Prices are already sky high and rising
>Devs are dead and is out of print
Welp the game just got even MORE expensive
I really hope you faggots stocked up because its become paying to pirate all the way right now
The exploit doesn't allow piracy.
And I don't give a fuck. I'm not even bothering with this, I just like to watch events unfold.
As of yesterday prices were already going over 200 on ebay.
>bought a japanese physical copy yesterday to use for new3DS
I wonder if actual Japs know about homebrew for 3DS. It's only been a few days, removing digital versions seems like a surprise.
>paying 50 dollars to not be able to pirate games
Someone explain this one to me.
>Ubisoft shill came to /v/ to shill Cubic Ninja
>Told fellow anons that the game would allow access to Homebrew
>Anons ate it up and bought the game out to oblivion
what, this is my first time hearing about this, can someone explain
You guys do know that it's only required once to install the Homebrew Launcher to the system menu right? After that you can get rid of it.
Hell, you could rent or borrow it like people did with Twilight Princess to install the homebrew channel.
>eventually homebrew advances to the point where you don't need cubic ninja to load it anymore except for the initial install
>game starts flooding the market as everyone tries to sell.
>price goes down
>get the game for 5 bucks
patience my niggas.
>mfw being able to play marth kart 7
>able to race on every mkwii and mkdd stage on the go or with friends
>speed mods to go fast
Why does Nintendo hate mods again?
so what I'm getting here is that the app doesn't run games? why go so far to get it now then?
>super smash kart mod
>all non-unlockable racers are the original 8 in 64
>multicolored Nesses for DSDLP
>jigglypuff firing red shells left and right at captain falcon and wii fit trainer
Nintendo really should do something like this.
>Cubic Ninja patch will probably be out in a few weeks
>if you want to play online, you have to update
>if you want to play a newer 3ds game, you'll have to update
>Meanwhile you niggas are stuck with a fucking shitty game nobody wants.
>Some fucking retards probably spent 50-100 bucks for this shit
This is literally the most retarded shit i've ever witnessed in my life. Buying up this game on the word of some fucking faggot homebrew developer on twitter.
Enjoy your shitter emulators and 'free' games, the same shit i've had on my CFW psp for years.
You know that there were Wii homebrew applications that allowed you to play games without forced updates and safely update your console without adding shit that would screw with your homebrew, right?
I already have CN so it really doesn't matter.
I still find it amazing that one person affected this piece of shit shovelware to suddenly inflate in price so quickly. No legitimate proof that it works, we're just taking his word for it until Saturday.
I feel like I'm part of a real life meme.
By the time something worthwhile comes out of this, there may be a better method anyway.
