>tarot themed monster of the month
>hard time limit on quest
>dog party member
>introduced having a single, personal, unique persona for anyone that's not MC
>characters evoke their persona by shooting themselves in the head
>Big bad is defeated by the MC spontaneously generating the power of The World, which allows them to win an otherwise unwinnable fight
>single small town setting
>story focuses on a central murder mystery
>all perpetrated by a sadistic guy that accidentally gained supernatural abilities
>most party members only join after defeating them in battle
>MC is a 2cool4school popular-with-the-ladies optimistic rogue that starts with his own persona right off the bat, while everyone else must gain there's through an arduous and painful trial
So given that the previous 2 games have just been Stardust Crusaders: The Game and Diamond is Unbreakable: The Game respectively, what can we guess about Persona 5? The obvious choice seems to be Stone Ocean, as it takes place entirely within a prison and all the motifs we've seen so far for P5 point to emancipation being the major theme. If it is SO themed, could Potter-kun not be the MC, but instead be the Anasui character? Will we see a female MC? Or maybe it's not SO themed, maybe it's based on Vento Aureo or hell SBR or Jojolion based. Clearly cell-phones are important, and those were used a lot more in VA and Jojolion than SO, so that could be evidence for either of those.
>So given that the previous 2 games have just been Stardust Crusaders: The Game and Diamond is Unbreakable: The Game respectively, what can we guess about Persona 5?
Vento Aureo: The Game. Potter-kun confirmed for generating an even more powerful Arcana than the World/Universe in the end and fucking up the Big Bad effortlessly.
Also, the best character in the game will die.
>game's theme is freedom
This is going to be so 'Murrica.
>>Big bad is defeated by the MC spontaneously generating the power of The World
>Stardust Crusaders: The Game
Shit. The parallels go deeper than I thought.
>If it is SO themed, could Potter-kun not be the MC, but instead be the Anasui character?
This picture begs to differ.
>he's looking away
It's just Atlus reminding us that we have to go through more P3 and P4 merchandise before getting to P5.
It's been mentioned a few times before, but I think it's obviously going to be Persona 4 with internet subbed in for the TV world. It'll be about the loneliness that social media and the internet age have created.
Yes. It's very unique. I'd recommend playing Persona 3 FES first, and not playing the PSP version until you've beaten FES.
But there's nothing wrong with jumping straight into Persona 4.
Februrary 5th. Where did you hear about the 21st of this month?
see pic related, but yes to your question.
I just hope it's not a smartphone app, that would be dumb.
Atlus wants you to decide what item the characters should use to summon their persona.
What do you pick?
just have them appear out of nothing like they used to
also make them have uses in the real world so there can be wacky misadventures about using a persona for personal gain
I think being spoiled on door-kun dying was a bigger deal for me than Adachi.
The whole last few months of P4 are a mindfuck even if you know who the murderer is. In P3, the story was less complex and so knowing that he sacrificed himself basically spoils the entire twist.
You literally just described Persona Trinity Soul.
typical jrpg friendship is magic theme
>new student to school
>meet a wacky cast of characters
>some midnight tower
>menus are probably phone-themed
probably the most 'mature' theme in the game is going to be characters have something to hide, it gets revealed, and then they gain some additional power.
