It's been awhile.
What are some reload animations you like?
>not even starting with this
I never noticed how detailed the reloads are in this game. There are empty and loaded magazine models and if you can see the breech of the weapon you can actually see the round being chambered (most noticeable on the bolt action rifle reloads).
If you look when it's empty there's a small button the side that pokes out. That's the bolt release. Pushing that will release the bolt to send the first round of the new magazine into the chamber.
>charging with a round in the chamber
this is how dumb you are
Oh could you imagine if you actually had to go through the motions to reload a gun in a first person shooter with this setup?
It would be a whole new wave of "video games train children to be school shooters" in the media.
Am I autistic? Seeing really fast and smooth reloads like they're a robot really gets on my tits in games.
Can I download all these? I assume they're for csgo
I know I am one, but it's the super human precision of some that annoy me. Mostly just in New Vegas because it's so obvious when you have mods that have relatively realistic reload speeds and some that have ridiculously fast ones.
its only the most operator to take advantage of the natural process of gravity and apply it to the modern battlefield.
This one was the sole reason to make me wanna play BF2 back then.
The M95 from BFBC2
Let's not forget Black, too.
And then there's CoP's Gunslinger mod.
I wanted to mention this in my original post but if you wanted a clearer example of what's going on look at the MK16 PDW in the submachine guns. That one has the bolt release and the bolt on the same side of the weapon so you can see what happens when he hits the bolt release.
WHEN PEOPLE WILL FUCKING LEARN THAT THE MAG DOESNT GO STRAIGHT IN LIKE THAT BUT WITH AN ANGLE LIKE IN KALASHNIKOV
MY FUCKING RAIFU BUTCHERED LIKE THAT EVERY TIME
>not realizing the eye can only differentiate things within a certain threshold
>not realizing the rotor is spinning in excess of that threshold, at just the right frequency
>believing the cover story
>not realizing that stationary rotor helicopters are the future
>not realizing the eye can only differentiate things within a certain threshold
nigga, dont be retarded, the reason for that gif is that the rotation speed is a whole multiple of the framerate of the camera's recording speed.
I've got a 1911 for concealed carry and getting an AR-15 sometime soon.
Yes, i shot a double barrel thinking, it shouldn't be hard enough to shot both at same time.
>the recoil is too hard i couldn't hold the gun
>both barrels in my face a second later
Also my shoulder hurted like fuck.
Everyone in my family was laughing for a while till i told them to try it out.
Fellow bonglander, 40 quid and you get your lender gun your shells your clay pigeons and a guy who follows you round and makes sure you don't shoot yourself. I had to sign more indemnity forms when I went skiing. Nice day out.
Reminds me of the time I went clay pigeon shooting
>guy hands me a gun, does the safety briefing shit
>Not really listening, I was 14 after all
>Get knocked on my ass from recoil
>Fucking 10 gauge
HK33 when I was in the reserve and some old ass bolt-action in a military shooting range.
Got a chance to carry M1 Garand and M1A1 Carbine, although, I did not have a chance to fire them because they are leftovers from the US. for training only.
When i graduated 10th grade, our primary teacher took the whole class to a gun-range and let us try out a few shots with his Anaconda revolver and Desert Eagle. He was my favourite teacher of all time for other reasons too.
Damanged the crane, the locking nut. Yeah, you don't cowboy-flick a revolver like that.
You're not supposed to just press on the cylinder either, you press on the crane and index it (making sure the chamber is aligned).
Ever since playing RE2 and RE6 I've loved the VP70. It's a nice looking gun.
>Not having a year or 2 in cadets when you were young
>Not breaking the stock of some special forces guys desert camo M4
>Not wearing a ghillie suit
>Not accidentally falling asleep and waking up when the guy next to you starts firing their SA-80A2 full pelt.
Was some good times, did some cool shit.
Anyway, I've always found Hitman to have some alright reloading, that and Max Payne 3
When your gun runs dry and you reload, there's no bullets in the chamber, because you already wasted all your amunition. You pull the charging handle, nothing comes out, but you're doing it to load a new round into the chamber.
Guns only eject rounds from the chamber when you pull the charging handle without having used up all your ammo. That's where tactical reloads and the 30 +1 gimmick comes in, but that's another story.
Its like Hi point tried to make a PPK clone
D-does air rifles and pistols count?
I-i have even held an AK5 (Swedish FN FNC variant) in my hands. ;_;
AR-15, a few handguns
A lot of people say rifles are easier and more accurate. Honestly, I'm better with a handgun.
I'll always have a place in my heart for the 1911. (When the fuck are we gonna switch back to .45 for military goddamn)
It came with 2 #0 round mags out of box
I Had this animation OH SHIT!!!!
>every reload animation ever
Oh my god this is gold
They should be pretty expensive and have good quality, since they're like, you know, what grants you the ability to shoot more than one bullet at a time without having to manually reload one into the chamber after each shot.
You only throw them away during emergency reloads, when they're devoid of ammo and you're in a combat situation. If it has no bullets, throw it away, load a new one, deal with the threat, then come back and retrieve it from the ground when you're done.
>magazines still hardly ever have cartridges modeled
>fire selector is permanently on save and does not move according to firing mode
>AUG having fire selector
I wish devs would stop doing this.
At least they made up their own, even if they're shit.
Then again I didn't play the game and don't know anything about it anyways except that it's probably still American propaganda.
I just saw a video showing how the speed reload mechanic works on AW since I don't have the game
Holy fuck why isn't there more games with this kind of feature?
>nobody posted Crysis 2/3 yet
The game has 3 sets of reloading animations for each gun: one for normal/power mode, one for armor and one for cloak.
ITT: liberal nogunz on /v/ pretend to be firearm experts
Are there any games with several different animations for reloading? Not counting reloading with an empty chamber vs one where there's still a boolet chambered. I usually get annoyed after seeing the exact same animation for the gorillionth time because I reload whenever possible
i know Black had different speeds depending on if you were in combat or not, like if you were sniping from far away you'd have a slower, relaxed reload.
but if you were in combat, you'd reload very fast
dumbest idea for a handgun ever
"lets stray from the trusted design of the handgun that's been the same for over a hundred years and make the mag go in the front, and add a shitload of weight, make it uncomfortable to hold and make it unwieldy as fuck."
Depends on the magazine, but most standard size magazines for rifles and pistols run in the 20-35 dollar range. Extended mags can get very expensive very quick, and most are gimmicky junk.
Notice how the charging handle reciprocates for some idiotic reason and he doesn't pull it back, just literally push on it. It wouldn't even move backwards in that position as it's locked by a little nub sticking into it when it's folded against the cocking tube.
Yeah. Pic is slightly outdated, I recently added a SCCY CPX-2 to that.
>extremely unconventional design
>after all those sacrifices, it still has a 10 round mag
what is even the point? There are smaller pistols that chamber .45 that hold more rounds
>no round is ejected when one was chambered
What annoys me is that although the mechanic speeds up the reload, the animation is the same, yet somehow you lose ammo.
Would of been better if they had seperate animations for normal and speed reloads, like recklessly throwing away the mag and jamming a new one in.
Enjoy getting crowbared in face when you magdump some feral nigger in the chest.
>Doubletap the nigger in the head
>he becomes a successful rapper and only gets angrier
>Are there any games with several different animations for reloading?
This seriously needs to be a thing.
>regular reload, mag put away, new one inserted
>double tap reload
>speed-load, mag is dropped
>slower, more elaborate reload
Please acquire new furniture or enjoy your cheek slap
>because AK's are hurr durr inaccurate
Because it has a side rail and I have side rail mounted optics, why the fuck not?
I don't think you realize how fucking silly you sound when it is a normal thing to put optics on an AK the way it was originally designed, especially when they don't block your precious irons
>literally all the assault rifle animations are exactly the same
>drops the magazine out, puts another in, slams the bottom of it with his palm
>every single time
Bad reloads, indeed.
>Putting scopes on an AK is sacrilege!
Hey, buddy, guess what? Russian special forces use tacticool shit on their guns all the time. The "RIFLE IS FINE, YOU FUCK IT" joke is a classic, I know. But it's stupid to hinder yourself and not use the tools you're given because of it.
Conscript. Shooting guns is no fun when you have to sit around at the range from dawn till midnight just because the dumbass officer who booked the timeslot shoved the whole fucking battalion in for the same day.
