it was cool they actually DESIGNED the game around his powers like the headbutting and flame breath. its so obvious but a lot of devs don't... like when you light cannons with your flame breath
the fact that your health was sparx's and he knocks the gems to you was also very awesome
I watched a speedrun of Spyro 2 a few weeks ago, game was in Swedish I think, don't remember. Anyway, it's interesting how the WAIAIAM was still the same.
Anyway, god damn I listen to the Spyro 2 hubworld tracks all the time. So comfy.
Oh wow, I seriously had this pic open in my other tab. Good place to use it I guess
Please none of that here.
Let's try to talk about the good times
Sorry, Anon. You're right. Spyro...would have wanted good times.
levels were comfy as fuck
god i love spyro so much. i love it so fucking much.
and i loved exploring the brand new worlds, but sometimes i got sad in spyro 1 because he's all by himself saving dragons, and nobody will help him but sparx.
and i got chasing those egg thieves down to a fucking artform. i could catch those bastards in seconds. and the speedways, the whole trilogy was so fun and fulfilling. i would rip off a baby's arms for the same crew making a new game for consoles. the big beautiful worlds and the swimming, oh my god it's the most fun swimming in any game ever.
toasty was my fave
>that first time you go to the peacekeepers homeworld and you can burn tents down with and shoot gnorcs with their own cannons
oh god it's so good
Agreeing with this.
2 bugged me because of the "go back to the first levels after you get powers later" stuff but it had great in-level side quests
3 kind of toned it down, it still had them, but it started to not feel like spyro anymore
