What kinda weapons do you want to see return in Fallout 4? Any ideas for new weapons? Pic related, I'd also like to see more variants of brass knuckles, maybe even an Apache revolver but that's asking too much.
The problem isn't in any damage values or whatever, it's the whole press button shoot bullet thing that's extremely unsatisfying, and your enemies barely react to being shot.
Half-Life 2, Ratchet and Clank and Wolfenstein: TNO should be must plays for any developer who wants to make a shooty game.
A whole new arsenal for unarmed characters( and improve the unarmed skill btw like takedown or real move from martial art)

A full-auto sten gun can be built with hand tools in virtually any caliber. The wasteland should be LITTERED with these.
Slam-fire shotguns, or volley guns, like the Four Winds Shotgun.
This can be made with a hand drill and scrap bits. They should be the go-to weapon for poor dirt farmers and shitty low level raiders.
Slamfire weapons are also EXCELLENT for simple traps.

Pretty sure i have with vanilla. Maybe my memory is shit but the rest of everything else i said still pisses me off. They can take multiple bullets to the face and every time i ever used VATS which was incredibly rare i just cringed.
Yeah, Tactics had some cool unarmed weapons like the impact gloves, punch glove, and sappers.

Doubt they'll find a way to re-implement it, but the Holorifle from Dead Money was my favorite energy weapon in NV.
All of the weapons from new vegas were goat, but I would like to have my raifu without a scope.
The complete version of New Vegas had two weapons that made me cream myself with joy.

Break actions guns give me a hard on because taking out a team of shits with assault rifles when you have to reload after every shot or two is intense. They are also just cool.
Apart from that, the chinese pistol and the bladerunner gun were cool, and I think one of the older games had a Pancor Jackhammer.

You have to keep in mind how old the games are and what limitations they were dealing with when you play them and you want to draw some kind of conclusion on their technical features.
The Mauser is one of my favourite guns. It's a shame the vaniila Chinese Pistol in Fallout 3 and New Vegas is shit.
I've started playing Far Cry 4 which has a Mauser pistol, but it's the version with a removable magazine. I was very disappointed by that.

Talking about new type a energy weapon,more tesla could be cool and an a Rail Gun where holding the trigger make a more powerful shot but it burn more ammo and reduce the weapon stat

I want interesting craftables. I want Arcanum's variety of crafting. If I roll a mad scientist character, I want to be able to build crazy shit like 50 caliber handcannons, tesla rods, magnetic armor, or robots. I want to be able to make crazy 50's B movie scifi crap, not just repair my gun better or hack a terminal better.

Besides, if you want to wank over a Handcannon, the 12.7mm or 14mm are firing anti-material rounds out a handgun.
well Skyrim was gimped a bit in regards to mod support, you can't add and remove mods from your game like you used to be able to do because it leaves orphaned scripts in your save which will fuck up and cause crashing. also the last patch limited the memory usage for some reason, modders already fixed both issues but Im just saying
You mean the body types? They're better than vanilla I guess, but they're not compatible with vanilla armors unless a conversion for each armor is made, and most conversions are slut shit.
I hope Bethesda doesn't ignore all the common NV / older Fallout weapons again, like they did with the .223, M16 style rifle (service rifle), and fucking 9mm pistols god damn how were they not in 3?

The few conversions that don't try to make everything sexy look terrible. It sucks that the best modders have such awful taste, but I guess that's because the good non nude modders are all working on more important stuff / overhauls, or have actually jobs in the industry.

I'll second that. Skyrim was a step back when it came to modding support. Mods seem to be much less ambitious in scope when compared to Oblivion and Morrowind, and far more likely to break your game / bloat and corrupt your saves. I wonder though, how much of this is the engine's fault, and how much of it is our current batch of modder's?

Integrating the realistic weapon damage could be nice and having pistols weeker than rifles because in FNV at the start the 9mm was better in anyways than the .223 bolt action.

The weapons will be modern, they will copy the skyrim in the way that you only get to choose between AP/HP/AGI. VATS will be slow mo mode and there will be a linear progression like map like new vegas.

The lack of variety has bothered me in alot of games. When there is only about 3 different looks to choose from feels a bit disheartening. and 1 is only usable for the last 30 minutes of the game.
Why cant I rip off that stop sign from the side of the road and use my jury rigging skills to add it to my metal armor as a shoulderpiece?
Actually why not let me gather hides from animals, scrap metal, electronic junk, pistons, fission batteries and use some ragdoll where to fashion my own unique armor?

More unique weapons and armours that aren't just buffed versions of regular ones, ones with their own unique things like the Experimental MIRV, the Lincoln's Repeater, Gauss Rifle, and Prototype Medic Power Armour

Joinable raider faction, complete with quests and some form og social impact. Also, let's bring back the slavers. Sometimes I just want to play as an evil overlord instead of the savior of the wasteland.
I would love it, but it's not likely. I never understood why I had to install mods in order to play as a ghoul, especially where every Elder Scrolls game had multiple playable races with their own unique perks.

That Gun/5.56mm pistol definitely, and the rest of the New Vegas weapons bar region specific ones. Ideally the count should surpass NV's.
