>you will never have your first blowout for the first time ever again
Sure, though these are all repeats from last night. I've got some old MP footage as well.
Oh no the grenade thing makes total sense but the auto aim snap immediately after is atrocious. There's a few webms of The Order floating around with horrible auto aiming
Holy shit, can someone post the 'what a gaffe' webm, I need it.
Autoaim has been around since N64, it's a necessary feature to make up for the reduced accuracy of console controllers. What are you only now saying "what have consoles done"?
Are webbums still limited to 30 sec, 3MB?
Also, has anon got a simple guide to making them?
Something with lag, I think. I saved it a while ago in the AC general.
This seems like an interesting way to approach combat in a diablo clone. What is the combat/parrying like? How does it all work? I haven't been keeping up with their dev videos.
3MB 2 minute webms, actually.
What do you use to trim the videos, though?
And do you trim the webm output or the original file?
I noticed shit like movie maker eats a lot of quality, even though you just cut something away.
>assmad a mod/jani is thoroughly cleaning the thread
>Isaac will never get the true peace he fucking deserves.
It ain't fair, man.
>dead space 3 will never not exist
I would have been happy with the series dying with 2. Fuck. It was better when the Marker was ambiguous as fuck instead of LOL MOON ALIENS
It's not a diablo clone at all though.
Your character always follows the cursor which means you can add extra force to your blows if you know how to position yourself and impart momentum into your swings. Generally, it means turn your shoulders and waist with the weapon.
Blocking is automatic when you aren't actively attacking but you must turn your weapon/shield to receive the attack. And you MUST take the shape of the weapon into account which means the guy with a sickle-polearm in the second room can get around your shield if you let him.
Parrying works by first intercepting the blow with your weapon/shield and then trying an attack.
It all sounds very basic and overly simple for a physics based game, but it's actually quite difficult to learn. I've found myself fighting better and better with smooth and fluent arcs which add momentum to my hammer.
Also, ARMOR. It works like you'd expect. Keep s the sharp edge off your skin if wearing plate. Padded gear is better against blunt weapons. Coverage matters! And the armor equipping works a lot like Morrowind in the sense that you can equip armor for EVERYTHING.
too bad the game play looks nothing like the cinematic cut scenes. fucking shill get out. post game play or fucking kill yourself, you spam the same 5 webms every day
pic related, real ps4 game play.
What software you guys use to make webms? I downloaded the one from webm site but I can't compress them or anything using it
Are you using WebM for retards? That's the go-to for most WebM conversions.
>You spam the same 5 webms every day.
And yet the webms you're responding to were made last night. How about you suck me off, fuckboy.
The guy who plants the charge looks like Charles from Binary Domain. Freaky.
It's actually the voice and likeness of one Gideon Emery. Though your boy Charles shares the same voice as the player character.
it's the exact same layout as the helicarrier in lego marvel superheroes
first time poster long time lurker sorry about it
yeah you cant fucking fool me
it was 2 different shills posting the EXACT SAME WEBM at the EXACT SAME TIME. they just had different file names.
go away sony shill
lol no. go away casual. babbies first fps etc.
>All that flailing.
>I fucking hate CS spread logic, and how it ruined shooters forever.
Oh please. Whether you hate it or not, CoD has influenced shooters more than counter strike, considering every game now you can aim down the ironsights of a gun which you don't do even in the latest iteration of Counter Strike. CS biggest influence was on the competitive scene, not really mechanics. Not too many shooters are round based with a continous economy throughout the match. Even then, it's a good mid ground between Arma ultra simulation recoil and CoD action movie recoil.
Always thought that was a neat moment in the campaign. Looking down at your body, seeing that everything is intact, and then your arm fucking comes off after getting dragged away.
someone pls gift me this game on steam i'll be your best bud
its basically descent
i always find it weird that people remember forsaken more maybe because it was on n64
free forsaken pc version with modern sourceport
knock yourself out
How's the first not shit CoD we've seen in years doing on that PC? Oh not well? Shame. At least you'll get Bloodborne. Maybe.
>people shitposting about Killzone and other PS4 webms
>ignore the fact that the PS4 natively caps recordings at thirty fps and 720p
>they've never played the game so they don't realize this is significantly less than it renders at
>also ignore the quality loss inherent in making webms longer than 2 seconds
I thought PC players were supposed to be tech literate tho?
Well there's less CoD in AW than ever, but it sure tries to look cinematic
also: What ever happened to this
>Being proud of playing COD
>Being proud of multiplats
>Being proud of a game that isn't even out yet
>Being proud of the fact that literally one game might be good after over a year of your shitty console being out
>Being proud of the platform that is only known for movies
Wow anon could you fucking not
This is what I thought too, but in every single one of these threads I get tons of people who honestly didn't realize that PS4 caps it's recording
Even though it was a fairly huge thing back at the PS4's launch when it capped at like half the current resolution. It's like PC fans are just regurgitating arbitrary statistics and numbers they don't know the meaning of.
Personally I love Freelancer
and made this mod, so I'd always recommend it.
It's fun as shit, great base mechanics, just very very limited in content once you beat the campaign.
/v/ has literally always played CoD. CoD being hated has only been the case since the tale end of MW2's lifespan because it was when they stopped trying. BlOps and MW3 were like the only games most people actively disliked, and BlOps 2 was a huge guilty pleasure for a lot of people.
For fucks sake there's a thread literally every day about how they need to make WaW 2. How much of a newfriend can you be and why are you trying so hard to fit in?
>I such a clever person. I'm going to write off a fantastic fucking game because I didn't like the last ones. This will somehow validate my opinion.
That work better on the NoGames4 than they do on your rig.
The joke isn't that Bloodborne will necessarily be good. The joke is that you aren't getting any games. Think harder next time, anon. You might look less retarded.
>one game will be good after a year
Writing off all the good games that have come out during that year does not magically make them go away. Have you ever considered taking suicide pills? They should help keep your delusions in check.
This is what this place has become.
Oh shit I just realized. I'm on the amerifag side of /v/.
Now it all makes sense.
All I have to do is go to sleep and all the people with shit taste will be gone.
And Americans wouldn't be there without Europeans. Your point?
This is literally
>right b4 neo/v/
>3 year old fag
Just quite as entertaining as posting
in certain threads
Except the game is turned off. When you don't have to have any code running and are just playing a premade animation then yeah the game can look that good.
>B-but it's IN ENGINE
Show me some actual gameplay please. It's so weird that there's no webms on here about the gameplay of killzone, maybe because there is none.
>It's so weird that there's no webms on here about the gameplay of killzone
How many times do I have to post fucking MP webms before people stop saying this? How many fucking times? Is this your FIRST fucking time in a webm thread?
such a nice cutscene before you walk up to copy pastes of npcs that mutter nonsence then go on your linear path to progress the "story" plus who the fuck wears that many leg covers... pants under shorts under shorts
They do. Every single game. If you really think the character clips every single time they do that climbing animation, you're a dunderfuck of magnitudes unheard of.
>fucking golden gate bridge collapsing
>THE ONLY GUY WHO NOTICEDH IM DIDN'T EVEN SHOOT
Fuck, is this what the community became? I remember to play Killzone 2 oe was it 3? On my PS3 and people were never this retarded.
I shouldn't have laughed as hard as I did at that
>SJWs attempt to make a game
>/v/ has literally always played CoD.
Been around, on and off, since '06. Never played CoD.
descent 1 and 2 were on ps1 aswell
fuuuuck old pc nostalgia is attacking... the fucking enigma pinball was awesome, and the deep sea one
>I don't see much of a difference between cod and insurgency really.
then you must be retarded, cod is a run and gun game, if you play insurgency like cod you're going to always die
This made me sad because it made me realize that I haven't played on an actual pinball machine in over 15 years
suprisingly the Psvita Killzone's melee was a contest QTE between both players
its free if its a back stab though and you CAN be interrupted you still have to do the QTE though
its quite long but also rewarding revealing enemies on your map
That's not the latest build but it's what I played. It's just a survival mode deal, one fight after the other\
Well im making these as i post them since i just got done playing for a bit.
No sound takes alot out of these.
Every SR3/SR4 girl has the same exact face so this is shit.
The tit physics are amazing tho
checked out the website they mentioned at the end of that webm and brought back this
im gonna try to play descent in order to play this
>there are 12 yr olds who think drake came before lara
ill help out a little :)
Exquisite, anon. Simply exquisite.
They were far too tame with the leveloution for the most part in BF4.
I did like how the sandstorm in Hardline was more than just a layer of dirt and actually blinded the shit out of everyone. If only it removed tagging while it was active.
Man. Suddenly this thread is on a roll.
A game where you play as an absurdly overarmed police force tasked with shooting nonviolent criminals to death with surplus military hardware might be the most accurate video game on the market today.
This is a unique form of trigger discipline.
The fuck are you guys talking about? The webm is on a combined arms map (tanks/infantry). Like half the maps have tanks arms.
Also, only dumbasses play campaign.
Do you even play RO2?
I know that my input won't stop you screaming shill at everything you disagree with, but often 4chan goes full autist and will display an image, gif, webm etc. that was not the image posted. I'm sure you've noticed this before
That's a shame, because Wargame is the most amazing fucking RTS ever made
I adore it, and World in Conflict so fucking much because I hate base-building RTS's
If you get really involved in Wargame, you'll find it to be incredibly fun. You SHOULD start at European Escalation though, as it actually has a tutorial and single player, while Airland Battle and Red Dragon both have "dynamic" campaigns which are basically shit compared to EE
So, for multiplayer, play Red Dragon. For single player + tutorials, play European Escalation
EE is dead multiplayer wise. Though occasionally they'll be a couple of games on a busy weekend
Airland Battle is just Red Dragon but with less units. Some people argue that AB has better balance and maps, and I'll agree on the maps, but Red Dragon has a lot more fun battles in my opinion
>playing ro2 on commissars
>idiot cmding tank switches, get in tonk
>forget to turn off player crew member
>come down main road on west side
>2 shot t34 comming out from behind first cap point building. killed his gunner and cmd, then racked him
>driver pulls me up behind a wall so we can murder inf
>we both pick up at least 20 kills
>get hit by enemy tank
>can't lower gun to hit
>screaming at tank drive in voice to turn
>rack t34 on first shot
>retreat to the wall behind commissars house
>driver dies along the way, gets shot opening his drivers hatch
>t34 flanks me to the far right
>puts two in my turret
>one in my ass
>driver makes fucking haste to gunner port
>turn turret, take one more in the ass, engine destroyed
>take out his gunner with my first shot
>commander with the second
>rack him with the third
>get killed by inf rush while i'm not looking
>my fucking face when held the line long enough to win and counter push slavshits in to their graves.
truly red orchestra has the best fucking tanking in video games. i haven't had a moment close to the intensity of screaming at my driver to turn our tank since i was a kid.
God dammit, the Mist was so fucking good
That shit hit me hard
My advice would be to play through all of EE's campaigns first. That will teach you everything you need to know about the game and it's sequels
Then, you can move on to the single player in Airland Battle. It doesn't have a storyline really, and is more of a tactical "move your battlegroup here and defend or attack" situation. It will play different every time you play it
If you skip Airland Battle, just hop in to a 10v10 game in Red Dragon. 10v10's give you a good chance to test out units and learn how to play. The single player for Red Dragon is better than Airland Battles, as they brought the announcer back, and the last two are actually EXTREMELY challenging. Though the hardest part is the Bear vs Dragon campaign where you play as North Korea + China against the USSR.
I know they do it out of respect to Roddenberry, but Starfleet ships have the stupidest fucking design for something that would see combat. They may as well paint a giant target on the things.
That's because they weren't meant for combat. Starfleet never made any ships solely for combat until the Defiant class
That's why the Federation gets their fucking asses kicked during the Dominion War and why they start building actual combat ships
I just didn't realize how fun not having to manage bases actually was
Sure, I had fun playing Starcraft, C&C, etc but once I got World in Conflict, then eventually Wargame, I fell in love with how the games played so much differently than most RTS's
Not him, but I'm just bad at remembering that basically every basebuilding RTS is
>spam builders/resource gatherers
I start trying to build a comfy, protected, and self-defending base and completely forget about attacking or continuing to build the army until I get steamrolled by the AI or whatever player I'm playing against
i'm the same way man, i had to actually play shitcraft2: mass 2 units edition, to git gud at getting units out to defend my fucking country sized base. if only there was a game soley dedicated to making fuckhueg military bases instead of cities and shit.
Yeah, basically even having non-combat oriented ships, Starfleet was able to hold back the Klingons for the most part. Once the Dominion showed up in DS9, they found out that the Dominion were basically Al Queda, and would just ram their ships into the big ass Galaxy class cruisers and suicide rush everything
Though if I recall, in TNG they talked about how Starfleet had been messing around with combat oriented ships to try and combat the Romulans; even going so far as to steal a cloaking device and try to cloak their starships, but never actually succeeded
I'm a hard-working blue collar faggot in a flyover red state, but whatever you say. I'm sure everything has to be political.
>Neo /v/ is real
CoD is now a pretty old franchise you anus.
Back before I was a jaded cunt and consoles were all I could afford the early CoD games were pretty sweet.
Its not unreasonable for /v/ to have CoD players. We all know its flawed. Few games aren't.
Did you make those webms or are you just reposting them?
I just figured out video capturing and realised I can make so many porn webms, but
I'll probably only make them for myself.
I remember the Enterprise being able to split into two ships for combat. The dish half being agile and fast whilst the other pack more weapons. I think that only happened once though.
