>>283891334 Its honestly because of the PC fanbase mostly but they will say its XBots. But anon id like you to go look up when the term artificial difficulty was born and you'll see it was slightly after the release of DS1 on PC.
>>283892248 Someone who complains about tactics they can't handle being used most of the time. They're known as scrubs in fighting games. Basically people who can't adapt usually to tactics that involve range and such.
Basically faggots. People who bow and expect you to bow as well despite leaving themselves open for an attack by doing so. Weak people who are probably sheltered in the real world as well to the point they think knights wouldn't use dirty tricks back in the day.
>>283892436 >Assuming you know when i played something >Ironically shitposting for LE FUNZ >Thinking cancer doesn't ruin a fanbase even if its said ironically
I don't think i have the picture saved but you've probably seen it. The one of if someone acts like an idiot even if its pretending they will find themselves in company of real idiots. Also alot of PC scrubs spout the term unironically.
>>283890843 Anyone who calls games "shit" should just fucking change hobbies already. Seriously, unless a game is literally unfinished or fundamentally broken, it surely has some redeeming quality (or qualities). If you can't see that then it's time for you to get a new hobby.
Bloodborne gets a ridiculous amount of hate and everyone fucking knows it's because it's PS4 exclusive. At the very least, 90% of the criticisms levelled against it are either arbitrary, can be also used against dark souls (but aren't because dark souls isn't PS4 exclusive) or in some cases just flat out incorrect and are just buttblasted people.
Don't get me wrong, I love video games and I'm the complete opposite in my view of exclusives. I want everybody to play a game, I want to be able to chat vidya with my friends and on this board no matter what console/PC you play on. But goddamn this community is straight up cancer when it comes to exclusives. It's low to brag about your consoles/PC exclusives, but it's also low to fling shit just because you can't have something. Bloodborne would be heralded as the next big thing or at the very least would not get half the criticism is does currently if it weren't an exclusive.
>>283893436 The only "honor" thing I subscribe to is not immediately backstabbing on red summon signs. I get aggravated when someone who willingly accepted a fight throws a cheap shot right out of the gate. Regular invasions should be no holds barred win at all costs but red signs should at least start with both players facing each other
>>283893828 Not that guy but I agree with you, it's just that games generally have more of a market on consoles and if you're a game developer and you're making a game you'll probably optimize it for your majority, and if you've only got one system (or equivalent) to worry about that makes it easier. I'm not saying I don't want to play BB on my PC, or that it shouldn't have been developed for PC for the best experience, but playing it on my PS4 is not much of an inconvenience
>>283894130 I would recommend against this. I find it harder to enjoy 'worse' games in the series if I start out later.
I started on Dark souls and while I loved 1 and 2, I can't stand playing demons souls. The npcs and areas are top notch but fuck me if the game doesn't feel clunky and have some dumb as shit game design decisions.
>>283894130 Don't buy into the "prepare to die" hype. You don't need to be eased into it. If you are having problems, you can grind, upgrade equipment, learn magic, and most importantly, summon people to help (read: beat for you) the hard parts. Go get Dark Souls, it's the best one, and it's not going to be ported or updated, so you may as well get it now.
The only unavoidably punishing part is the Anal Rodeo archers, and like many things, you can just keep trying to run through it till you make it.
If a game looks like shit, that's fine, so long as it runs well. Bloodborne looks bad AND runs bad, not to mention Dark Souls doesn't exactly have a track record of stellar gameplay. I'm not the guy you're responding to but I don't understand how you could be excited for a new entry period, let alone one locked to 30 FPS that looks as bad as Bloodborne does.
Yeah... nah. I strongly disagree with this; there is more to graphics than just sheer polygon count and technical details, art direction is often much, MUCH more important in determining whether or not a game looks good, and so far I really like what we have seen.
It does look bad in terms of graphical fidelity. The lightning is sub par, there are very few effects more intensive then "slighty thump on the ground" or basic blurring around weapons, the animations are still jagged and twitchy just like every other Souls game, the monsters so far have been hit and miss with designs, with the eye monster being pretty cool and some of the larger monsters being nice, but everything else has just been men in Gothic era clothing and generic shit like werewolves.
Only an asshurt shill would try and excuse derivative and last gen tier graphics.

Fuck man, don't you feel like a massive tool typing all this shit? Goddamn. When did your hobby stop being playing videogames and turned into nitpicking petty shit like this?
>>283894750 Well for one, online never dies and mods create infinite potential. Textures don't matter, some fan can make better ones. (Like Dark Souls) And you don't have choice in performance on console, I prefer my games in 60 fps. I'll downgrade visuals if I need to, console games are pretty much what they want, not what you want.
>>283894095 It doesn't cost billions of dollars to make multiplats, you can sell on console AND PC. But companies like Sony and Microsoft want to pay for exclusivity, it's a consumer-hurting practice but there's nothing we can do about it. I'll get it on PS4 but not for full price.
>>283894750 Play Dark Souls 2 at 4k 60 fps with enb's and some texture mods + some personal fixes and skips to annoying parts (like intro screens) and the fast ass load time all on PC. Then go play Demon's souls. It's such a downgrade, and Demon's is a good game too. If it was on PC it would feel so much better since you can personally improve it.
>>283890843 if BB is your last hope for vidya you should just save yourself the time and quit now. I hope it'll be good, but your taste must be disgusting if this is the only thing you're looking forward to.
>>283898203 Ok, lets read some quotes from the producer himself:
>"Yamagiwa said that Bloodborne’s “new online concept and experience… will capture a wider audience.” >“You died a lot in the previous games, and you had to persevere, but one of our main goals with this game is that we don’t want to focus on punishing the player,” >“The way in which we’re making the game? The sense of punishment is much less.”
Since "the internet apparently doesn't know shit now", then, according to that same philosophy, this "Yamagiwa" guy is also talking out his ass and has no clue what he's saying. Right, you stupid shill? What do you have to say now that you argued yourself into a corner?
