no, you just post it, you have the fucking file, your going to reply to yourself with it regardless.
Just noticed that in every Bloodborne thread, "sickdark" is always in the first post.
Are there different types of weapons in the game?
By that I mean in previous Souls games you'd get multiple types of swords, axes etc, but from all the previews of this game it looks like there's only one weapon per type. One axe that turns into a polearm, one cane that turns into a whip etc.
we all know what weapons are in souls game, why are you explaining it like this was as submitted question that the devs reply to in a magazine
Well if I just said are there going to be multiple types of weapons people would have just replied that yes, there's a sword hammer and an axe spear and etc.
I felt I needed to make clear I was refering to different weapons within a weapon archtype. My apologies if I could have worded it better.
no dude im just so fucking stoned lol, its cool dawg
>The crypt in the shrine of storms
>Tomb of the giants
>Chasm of the abyss
Nigga pls, If only you faggots would say gothic rather than sikkdarke.
I sure hope the game isn't all like that though.
best weapon coming through
>tfw can't wait to wreck dexfags
>saw + handle
>sword + hammer
>scythe + sword?
>cane + whip
>daggers + curved sword
>axe + extendo handle
>sword + gun
alright plebs come up with a transformable weapon 10 seconds
>bomb + hammer
Looks pretty great. I'm pretty excited and am looking foward to see the other monster designs and areas especially.
I'm still laughing that mustards are assblasted about Project Beast being Bloodborne and that all the shitposting they did before and after is still wasted on these threads. Get over yourselves.
You're forgetting the GOAT
>sword + sword
>From will never put as much effort into an AC game as they do for their Souls derivatives
I never played Demon/Dark souls so all this is new to me tbh.
Hype for this game though. I can tell it's gonna be gud. It'll be my first RPG game too. Not normally hyped for those kinda games but Bloodborne looks pretty sweet.
I just hope they stop with the multiplayer focus shit from V and VD
But DaS2 wasn't even bad, just not as good as we were promised (the dynamic lighting would have made the dark areas a lot better). Bloodborne's been looking good so far, and even if we get a last week downgrade it'll still be an enjoyable game.
>Why do you insist in calling this a souls game
GEE I WONDER WHY
>When does it come out for the PC?
When will Uncharted and Demon's Souls come out for PC?
By the way, did you know that Sony just sold off their ONE AND ONLY PC Gaming division, SOE?
yep, sony no longer cares about PCfags. Bloodborne, God of War, Last of Us, etc. never coming to PC
>was going to play this on my mate's ps4
>he just sold it because it became nothing but a netflix machine for three months
would have been able to play it had the game not been delayed
guess i'll just play demon souls when it launches
We need war shears of some sort. Gotta be fucking invincible ya know.
m80 i've beaten des multiple times
just going to play it to mask the pain
to be honest I don't like a single change bloodborne has made but i'd still probably enjoy it well enough
I actually prefer DaS but i've done literally everything imaginable in it
If we got something like that, you know there would be Kill la Kill cosplayers all throughout that game (not that we aren't going to be getting a lot of van hellsing cosplays).
I think it's on par, just the NPCs are miles away better and the magic system isn't utterly retarded.
on the other hand it's OPbut a good chunk of the bosses are gimmick though.
Plain Doll is
Everything SHOULD be 60fps. But really 60 fps only makes a big gameplay difference for games where you're moving really fast and whipping around a lot. There's a reason they only show off those 30/60 frame comparisons with high speed FPS's and racing games. For a game like this with short bursts of speed and not a whole lot of camera panning, the fps is acceptable.
Not great, but acceptable.
As long as there isn't another Blighttown, it'll be fine
I'm sure there will be moments where it chugs. It's a goddamn console game and from were never what you could call "Technical wizards". But I doubt we'll get another area of sustained fps fuckery.
If Bloodborne fails me I'm selling my PS4 and all of my consoles.
Gonna get into bikes.
Maybe do some hiking.
Gunpla? ...no. it's time to grow up.
Hiking and biking.
No more vidya.
There are ways to make it chug, but generally you won't get those without trying.
Blight town was such a problem because it was rendering the entire level, plus the swamp below it and all the shit moving around down there and everything else. None of the other games have anything on that scale, so they never have that problem.
Blight town was really a magnificently large thing when you think about it; it's the sort of thing you don't see anymore, even in modern games. Skyboxes sure, but never something like blight town.
Well, we haven't seen what characters look like naked yet.
But considering from's capabilities with rendering humans as non-horrifying stick insect people, I'm pretty sure I don't want to see them in a thong.
I'm sure some corsets and birdcage dresses will make it, it fights the Victorian setting. Don't know if bondage gear was popular in that time. All the mens armor/clothing will be balling with coat tails and top hats.
i want somethin like charge blade from monster hunter
a shitty shield that has great attacks but also is the only thing you can use to parry and can transform with your mainhand axe or some shit
>primitive longbow+dual swords
shit sucks man
i've been replayin dark souls but just go to the depths and i'm not lookin forward to blight town, and my xbox subscription is over and my pc cant handle it
guess ill make a captain america build on 2
DS1 is finicky as fuck when it comes to PC. I have a friend who had a really good rig but DS lagged to shit even with the fix installed. It just doesn't play nice with some setups.
Would you guys buy the Nightmare edition if it included a statue of this?
I keep thinking about buying the nightmare edition because some of the shit looks cool...but I know it will just sit around and never get used. Plus I'd have to order it in from europe and wait for it to get here.
parries are in the game, but they're in the game as something different. Basically, if you shoot the enemy just as they attack, they stagger, and you can do a critical hit. They basically gave parry an ammo counter so you can't just spam it anymore.
aw thats right
i wonder if you can parry differently if you have a shield instead of a gun, or just have shields be fuckin useless as shit like miyasaki-sama sushi wanted
pls respon FROM
So, are there some guns that don't allow parries? Because in the weapon showcase video, the player had a gun that took 50+ damage off of enemies.
Seems like it'd be a little overpowered if you could take off that much damage, then hit with a critical attack.
oh i dont think you dash backwards
theres a webm with one of the first footage we get that shows backsteps like in other souls
not sure about forward though
You can dash backwards, and in any direction I think, you have to be locked on to dash. You do the classic roll when you're not locked on to a target.
why are people looking so forward to it?
Besides the obvious downgrade and not even looking that great graphics-wise from the start, it has the exact same mechanics (press roll and then attack everything) and even the same shitty animations as Dark Souls.
Just because there is no other PS4 game coming out?
i dunno it looks like a bug to me
can't be intentional, that looks retarded
>Just because there is no other PS4 game coming out?
that + souls fanboys
i think it looks ok, besides for how mashy it is and the setting
It'll look fantastic in PVP, with Hunters dashing around each other. Assuming PVP will work like in the Souls series.
Please ignore the shitposting
I still think about buying it to play it on my brothers PS4, but what bothers me even more that so far all the areas look almost the same; you're on some streets and zombies / dogs are coming at you. I liked DS1/2 areal variety of shitty forests, caves and castles a lot. Hope to see some more.
What? look at any gameplay video
game's all about attacking alot now. Literally every time the devs have talked about combat they've said that they want the game to be all about offense, that you need to be attacking all the time
you're even encouraged to mash with the health regen stuff. How do you not know this
>Faggot come on, switch to sword and flay the fucking rats!
>Goddammit don't you have the flamethrower!?
>Where the fuck are you running to!? My fucking god the die in one jump strike you retard
It's frustrating watching someone else play a game.
I'm pretty sure that mashing will lead to you depleting all your stamina and then just fucking die because you cannot dodge incoming attacks.
Being offensive =/= mashing like a retard
>aggressive gameplay is mashing
I...what? They want you to be on the defensive, to think quicker, not to mindlessly mash you goddamn idiot. Mashing also inherently means no or very little additional button presses for, say, dodging/dashing, which won't get you very far in a game like this.
Please try the game as a button-masher and see how that works out.
so shields have been confirmed but apparently they have been massively nerfed
how do you think they've done it? do you think they've reduced the overall damage reduction, or maybe you take huge stamina damage from blocking?
Bloodborne on PS4 - 30fps
Bloodborne on PC - 0fps
>n-no it won't be mashy
go watch some fucking videos about the game play. It's all about mashing and getting health back from hitting your opponents after they hit you
No poise either so it's all about stunlocking now too. Have you guys watched nothing about the game?
You'll be hunting a fucking
hydrain a forbidden forest, Anon. You'll get your variety.
Maybe bad dmg reduction, shit stability, and can't block projectiles. They're only use being a free riposte opener if you're out of bullets.
Seeing >>284028890 I think I'd rather just zip around than whip a shield out. Hell I'll engage fat ass crows one on one and still zip around all the time needlessly
>CAAW h-he's fast! CAAW CAAW
When you hit opponents you don't get stamina back though, which would result in you getting hit again which makes the regain system lose its purpose if it relies on mashing.
Also all game footage I've seen has enemies dying like in 4 hits, the standard in most Souls games, in those you could also "mash" to win if you knew enemy patterns.
