When was the last time you got your moneys worth out of a video game /v/ ?
Sure as fuck wasn't pic related seriously fuck you guys for shilling this shit to me
Played Yet Another Zombie Defense for 2 hours with my bro, I paid 75 cents for both copies.
2 hours of entertainment for 2 people would cost 20 bucks at the movie theaters so I think I did good.
I've gotten about an hour per dollar out of this game. KSP has about 100 hours on it too and that was cheap as hell.
over 100 hours played and I have only put in $20 for the naxx expansion,
Dawn of War Soulstorm. Got 90 hours out of campaign/skirmish matches alone. Never really played multiplayer because I sucked + now the servers are down. Still, not bad for £5.
I make sure to research games before I buy it, so the last time I didn't get my moneys worth was probably Ass Creed 4. I played and liked 2, but I should have looked more into it before tossing 40 bucks down the drain.
Trials in the Sky.
Paid less than $10 for a 40 hour good JRPG.
Before that was Fortune Summoners. $5 for a 30 hour fun platforming action game.
Last time Risk of Rain was on sale I bought a 4 pack and passed it out between my friends for less than $20. We've gotten about 50 hours of play out of it.
I don't even know why I should pay attention to AAA games or pay full price ever again.
mount and blade warband or terraria.
Just the other day I was playing on a /v/ server and we beat pretty much all the content besides the newest stuff like fishron. Then we nuked the whole server with explosives. Good fun. I think I played about 40 hours on that, for a game that cost me about $1.
bought danganronpa 2 for like 10 bucks a month ago and that was pretty nice
30 hours in MH4U. Worth it.
28 hours in Evolve. Worth it because I paid 55 bucks for PC Monster Race.
10 hours in RE HD Remaster. Worth it.
Enjoying my recent purchases.
I've always got a soft spot for the Lashir Luten map (may be spelt different, been a long time)
I'd instantly rush to get a unit behind their base where there wasn't much reason to go, then slowly drop all my fucking guys behind their lines.
Shit was chaos like every single time.
I was never actually considering buying Evolve, I just wanted to hear a testimony from someone who did. For some reason, your comment makes me think of Christmas 2013, when L4D2 was free.
Dark times my friend.
I got the PC Master Race Edition for 55 bucks off Nuuvem using the Chome extension app Hola Better Internet. It's worth it if you have friends to play it with, by yourself it can get old quick unless you love being the monster.
For me I prefer a $1:1hr ratio. It's becoming harder and harder, but easily doable. I've pretty much stopped buying games at launch too now. Why do that to myself when I can buy it a bit later for half the price?
I went on steam to check if they were having a sale on Bioshock 2 on a whim yesterday and discovered that you can't actually buy Bioshock 2 on steam. It's listed, but I cannot buy it.
I paid $1.99 during a holiday sale for it. Bought it again on iPad for $9.99. No regrets.
my problem is the steam problem - buying games and never playing them.
1 dollar for 1hour played is something i regard as a minimum, with games i actually play it more like 1 to 3
Speedrunners. I got it for like £3 and I've got like 50 hours into it. For such a simple game, it is fucking fun.
I've bought Final Fantasy X about four different times, and I think it's worth it.
