You're a necromancer who has to choose between raising a skeleton squad or one giant skeletons.
Which do you choose and why?

I will go with the giant skeleton, and maybe eventually I can raise multiple giant skeletons.
I would take one regular size skeleton with the strength and power of the giant one. That would be better. A giant one is just easier to hit.
Then I would take that one regular size with the power of the giant and make four more of it.

That depends on a few factors.
Is the armor a flat damage mitigator? If it is then the large skelly no question.
If the skeletons can act as a shieldwall, soaking up arrows and spells then I'd go for them instead.
Well that depends.
Are each of the 5 skeletons skilled in different fighting styles and weapon use? How big is a giant skeleton? Who am I fighting? Does the giant skeleton come with a giant weapon or do I have to help him forge it?

Small skellies can be beaten one by one, diminishing their overall damage.
Meanwhile giant skelly has the same HP of the small skellies combined but does the same damage until he dies.
Plus giant skellies are spookier than smaller ones.

You guys have to consider some different factors, such as AoE attacks ruining the squad, or a big single attack doing 150 damage making the giant skeleton die in a single hit.
Also if you have an attack aura or buffs, it'll be more effective on more minions.

Also in an arpg or pnp situation the squad gets swarm bonuses.
In most normal situations/games the giant skeleton is better investment

Each turn, the big skeleton kills 1 small skeleton, reducing the skeleton squad's attack power.
Eventually the big skeleton will take 75 points of damage before he wipes out the skeleton squad.
1st you're stupid. It's not about skele on skele combat. 2nd if it WAS, the squad necro casts stun and giant is fucked or giant's necro casts AoE dmg and squad necro is fucked. There's too many variables.

Skele squad, because I have a better idea of when I need to resummon them, and they can stymie a larger group of enemies that want to eat my face than the Big Spooks could.

Depending on what your rules are that would be the same situation. The powerful single target ability could probably wipe out 1 skele per spell, or you use it multiple times in the fight against big skele. If you have a spell powerful enough to oneshot big skele, there's no way you'd be afraid of little ones anyway.
