FUCK THIS ASSHOLE RIGHT HERE. TRAMPLING STUNNING KO'ING DOUCHE FAGGOTRON ASSHOLE!
oh yeah, mh4u thread.
Fighting the one with the Frenzy Virus was not an entirely enjoyable experience, but at least it wasn't Sand Barioth.
So many people karted against that fucker in 3U for some reason
>Getting this mad over nerfed piece of shit Tigrex
My God have mercy on your soul if you ever plan on playing MHFU.
piss easy. In fact everything in low is super easy. The ones that are truly annoying is stuff like trying to fight Black Gravios with a GL/L. You basically have no way to dodge its lasers when its going crazy and if you're stuck in front of it at any moment you more than likely will get blasted.
Well yeah, guard up, but when you're using a set based around artillery like the queen armor you have to get stamina reduction over any of the defensive stuff. I didn't feel like fighting him again with it so I just switched to GS with diablos armor. I haven't needed to upgrade that armor yet and I'm in G rank. It's just incredibly, but I might get the X version of it soon.
Tigrex a shit
This is the one fucking ting
the one piece of shit
I fucking hate this thing I wish I could shit on every baby's khezu mouth
fuck this faggot
>people actually have trouble fighting khezu
>people online actually die to red khezu
>I have to spam lifepowder when playing online
I swear, it's easier to farm shit solo sometimes.
Yeah he is easy but that's from a mhfu solo g rank player.
Now the seregios high rank I'm trying to upgrade his gunlance and its been 5 kills and 15 caps and FUCKING 0 DISSENTERS.
It was bullshit in FU
Specially that one fucking mission where he could get into a cliff and park there for 30 minutes so unless you had a ranged weapon or had more supplies you ate shit.
And no music just made it more tedious, all you heard is his fucking horrible sniffing
fuck khezu I rather go against 20 fucking plesioth hipchecking at the same time
>person new to the series
>kek why the fug are you havin trouble m8 git gud fgt scrub 420
He is a khezu unless you expect all his brutal no tell/windup moves from FU your first few will fuck you in the ass.
That said he is fun just because long shot can shoot him when he is doing his electric squat.
Also first time I did it in mh4u it was in low rank armor and he was high rank and one shot me with every attack so it took me 25 minutes to do.
I just completed the Seltas armour set and got to Artillery God and am using the Dios Strongarm CB. This is powerful stuff.
>Guy barges into an online room specifically detailed out to hunting rathian
>"Hey guys can you help me with my urgent"
>"No, go solo it"
>"Haha, nice joke"
Why do people not want a challenge?
Why are the casuals here to ruin my fun?
I can see needing help with farming or G rank shit, or the guild quest level 140 extreme monsters what have you
....but a high rank black gravios?
People need help for something as simple as that?
I want casuals to go back to halo.
>inb4 some wiener kid bitches at me for insulting their precious babbies
My problem with the Tigrex is that the fight doesn't feel intense at all
It doesn't look like much, its roar is forgettable as fuck and its only dangerous attack is the retard walk.
Walking looking silly at a brisk pace with slightly bullshit hitbox, that's the best it has in store.
And it sends people carting by the dozens, but it doesn't really feel like a threat, more like a chore.
Like if resources took out chunks of your life when you pick them in gathering quests.
I don´t get why so many people triplecart to chaos gore
He´s just like the regular one with a few crippled shaggy attacks
He´s not hard
so that people get an idea of how it feels to play lance.
Zinogre best mon
There was a minor reason for that in the original monster hunter, Khezu didn't have an eye icon (So you couldn't tell if he saw you) which sort of meant they didn't trigger a battle theme mostly to add to the suspense of fighting an enemy you couldn't see. Capcom unfortunately seemed to have forgot the former point but kept the no music thing.
Khezu fucks you up hard if you're impatient. He was the wyvern that taught you to watch a monsters movements if Kut-ku didn't.
>Try to introduce a friend to the franchise
>He carts to an
I didn't even know they could fight back
He's not even a casual
It's frustrating at times trying to get the red juice. But god damn is it satisfying when a monster flies up to change area but you flip in the air and slam dunk the bitch back into the ground and finish it off.
It's a bit easier if you forget aiming and fire the bug at point blank. This is also how to get the Brown buff from a lot of wyvern chests.
Also remember that you don't HAVE to mark the monster to fire the bug. I like just firing it off when I'm running towards it or waiting for an opening, since you can't always be in melee range safely.
Playing 4U makes me wonder if Monster Hunter Online will have any potential, but Tencent is developing it so we will have to see. Thats assuming we even get a global release anyways.
>get kill nerscylla quest at 6* village
>think nothing of it, lets kill the bitch (again)
>fail a mission first time in the game
I did beat her/it to a bulb when i tried again but holy shit was i mad at how hard i suck despite it being one of the earliest and easiest monsters i have encountered.
Zingores are the worst. Fucking head too high to bash with my hammer, fucking electrics up way to fast, stupid fucking tail (cant cut because of hammer), 3 move slam spam, electric balls spam. Fucking annoying.
>get HH relic
>it´s motherfucking Basarios Rock Ice Edition
>Join HR lobby because I need some Brachy parts
>Am HR 50
>WOW LOOK AT THIS NOLIFE NERD
You guys know MHO was basically confirmed awhile ago right?
Its not stated outright but heavily implied.
>Let's see what this fucker be all about
>Looks tiny compared to how I've been told, gonna approach carefully
>Carefullyyy-FUCK HOLY HELL WHERES MY LIFE OH GOD HOW'S HE IN MY ASS THE WHOLE TIME LEMME GET A SIPPY GET AWAY
>Alright we fine, gonna get behind him and stab his ass
>That turn around trampling
>Corner wake up, trampling is still on. no stamina. ded.
There are scary monsters in MH. But Tigrex is just pure fucking evil. He don't wanna eat, don't wanna defend, don't even wanna kill you. He wants to end your existence.
Look there have been plenty of implications in the past about things like Portable 3rd making it here, that Xbox Frontier making it here. the Portable 3rd HD coming here.
Nothing is confirmed until there's a full on Statement from Capcom 'WE ARE BRINGING THIS OUT HERE IN THE YEAR OF GAJIN LORD 20XX'
I love his theme, fav so far, well...only after Lao Shang last zone but that's the MH theme, but we don't have that fight anymore...
Fuck any other ancient dragon fight, I want Lao Shang back
Oh shit really?
Did Capcom actually nerf monsters now?
But the Khezu Shock Sword is one of the coolest in MH IMO.
Also I died to a Khezu when I first played FU, but I did a guild quest mission and it literally flew to the first area and one-shotted me with electricity.
It felt like a gigantic 'fuck you' from the game because it was my first time playing.
>everyone complains about this nigger
>first one you fight is Frenzied
>beat it no problem
>didn't cart once
>did "Hunt 2 Frenzied Tigrex's" with no problem
only monster I've had trouble with up till now is Congala, fighting that fucker is the only time I failed a quest in Monster Hunter 4U
Pretty much this, I'm upgrading all my Great Swords with chain mail on.
>MFW I learn all the move sets of a hunt
I hunted the Hermitaur more than I should've with that bad boy. Plus the light-saber sound effects? God man, I think I used it on shit that was strong to electricity once or twice.
If you cut a monster's tail and start carving it in front, you may or may not get mauled.
But the satisfaction of a successful carve before it can hit you is hard to beat.
I think Tigrex has been a mainstay since Freedom 2.
He literally pooped on you didn't he?
Don't get put off by Low ranks difficulty. It's easy, but it's perfect for beginners to the series. High Rank is where the game gets difficult and G-rank is basically suicide if your not careful. What I'm saying is, don't get put off by the easy start, the difficulty kicks in later on and hits you hard.
>Triple charge spam, can only hit it with draw attacks
>Actually fun to fight
Tigrex was a huge difficulty spike in Gen 2, everything after was nothing until you got to Rajang.
Your weapon choice is shit.
Every monster is easy and you're a casual.
The game is shit because its not FU.
If you choose male you're a cis scumbag. If female you're fucking gay.
Still using shitty handhelds? Out.
I did my first expedition quests and killed the Veloci thing, now I have Gathering Hall Quests but I am at a loss with what to do. I am struggling to kill the veloci thing again for loot to make the veloci armour. Most of the quests look like ones I have done before or much harder.
Also, whenever I try to go online the quests don't start together, the guys run off and I can't find the once they leave the gathering hall
emerald congalala triplecarted me, I've never been so furious and ashamed in these games
E.conga was the first thing I had that was a semblance of difficulty in the game so far.
Carvan 8, Guild 4 and I have not triple carted to anything yet.
I want something to kill me so bad so I can carve its face and wear it
Do expeditions until you get a Velocidrome Guild Quest (you'll have to kill big monsters in the expedition to get chances at guild quests. Velocidrome can give the velocidrome guild quest, but just know most of them are not like that), then in the start menu register the quest. After that you can launch a Velocidrome hunt out of the online hall thing. Every time you do the quest it will level up, eventually becoming High Rank or more, when it hits high rank you'll have to go farm another, which should be easy.
In his normal mode he's actually 10 times easier than in freedom because he's much slower while all our weapons are faster, many monsters are easier. But that's just so the frienzied version can be harder but beatable. 4U frenzied version = normal version in freedom.
I'm so glad they didn't put Copper Blangonga in this game, fuck this nigger
>muh superior mhfu
Freedom Unite fags are worst cancer in MH fanbase. They keep bringing up their broken game every time.
yeah, if you look at the drops it would explain it. I really didn't like how they handled 6 star caravan, because a good portion of it seems to be Low Rank while other portions seem to be High Rank, as opposed to a clean transition from LR to HR.
Probably just those random tornadoes. There were complete horseshit if you were greatswording. You would get a great position for a charge attack, then OOOOPS! Some fucking tornado shows up off screen behind you.
>Dual infected Black Gravios
You know most of the time you see a horrifying quest like this it turns out to not be that bad once you actually try it.
But not this time. Holy fuck I never want to fight a frenzied Black Gravios ever again, much less two of them.
That was the only thing I missed from FU. Shagaru Magala was the right monster to end 4U's LR with, but it didn't quite have that epic 'final stand' touch with a hint of futility that the damn giant crab had.
Yeah, it's like, just because Rathalos was the original flagship they feel like he has to ALWAYS one up other monsters.
The problem is that in order for him to do that, because there are some very well designed monsters now, they feel like they just have to give him free hits or else make him fly around for days just to extend the fight time.
hitboxes usually. He isn't really nerfed, he just doesn't have hitboxes 1.5x his size anymore. And his forward bite doesn't hit you when your at his tail anymore... because it shouldn't.
He's fixed, but tryhards are going to bitch anyway. They can go back and play Freedom Unite again if they want to fight invisible walls. Some of us would like to actually fight the monster.
>What's that, some hunters on the other side of the area? I better go say hello!
How to beat Tigrex in MHFU:
Step 1: Stand in a position where he has to rotate twice to do anything
Step 2: Press the big attack button
Step 3: Roll to the right
Step 4: Repeat
Congratulations, you just beat Tigrex, and like 3/4 of the MHFU roster. At least in MH4U they changed the way he rotates before his charge to prevent this abuse.
This is literally the one major flaw with monster hunter. The little guys make absolutely no sense in this regard.
They cower because of the monster, then you kill the monster, but "nah, that's okay I can take this hunter that just fucked up the thing I was so afraid of."
And on top of that, why the fuck do monsters even stay in the same zone to fight ANYTHING when their predator is there. Fucking Apceros trying to get in you way when there are fucking Dromes and Monoblos and shit. Rhenoplos hanging around the Tigrex's and Rathalos'.
This shit breaks immersion and gameplay and wastes unnecessary time in quests to get rid of them for literally no fucking logical reason.
>play kut-ku expedition
>easily capture it
>rewards are shit, not a single kut-ku related item
>didn't receive guild quest to farm it
>the bitch doesn't appear in expeditions anymore
fuck, I want my kut-ku armor!
Yeah, that one is hard rank. Those line of 6Star quests, I think, were designed to troll the people that rush through the ranks and play solo later. It tricks you into thinking it's low rank because its' 6 star, they start you in camp and you get items in the box.
But yeah, the damage and the carves/rewards are hi rank.
>then you kill the monster, but "nah, that's okay I can take this hunter that just fucked up the thing I was so afraid of."
They're opportunists. They figure that you're probably exhausted after a long and grueling hunt, and whoever manages to take you down will become the alpha.
The apceros are just retarded.
Rhenoplos are stupid durable and not actually likely to be predated on over something easier like ants, cacti, or aptonoth.
Jaggis, even Great Jaggi, had a tendency to attack everybody at any time. I've personally watched him pick fights with both Qurupeco and Deviljho. That seems to be a recurring trait with raptor type monsters, as I've also seen Great Baggi do it, and in particular Wroggis and Great Wroggi absolutely loathed Uragaan, way more than even Agnaktor or Brachydios.
I have lost my shit countless time due to these fucking asshile Rhenoplos. About to give a monster a good wacking with your GS charge attack level 3? Let me help you with a headbutt. I know one time I went out for a hunt...for Rhenoplos and just fucking went mental on them to release my anger.
It's because Kut-Ku is their only known predator, due to them being too big to fit in the mouths of most other monsters and too durable when rolled up to bother trying to pick apart over easier prey.
>all these fags claiming Tiggy was as easy as he´s now back in MHFU
You are all full of shit
I´m not saying he was hard or not abusable, but atleast he didn´t fatigue for a minute after 30 seconds of running like he´s in P3rd or in this one
His permacharging was way more of a challenge than his jump that never hits you or his roaring that never hits you, i don´t know why they even gave him those moves if they´re just free hits every time
This is the only reason he is "easier". He wasn't hard in FU necessarily. He just spent so long running around that he ate up like 15 minutes of the quest. Its the only reason a lot of G Rank took so long in FU.
Most monsters were designed with a bunch of time waster moves where you couldn't really do much but sit and watch and move out of the way occasionally. It was pretty lazy.
>mfw trying out gunlance on an expedition
>it says it's just Rathian but Gravios pops up
>long, horrible fight
>"the monster looks like it's going to flee!"
>field report submitted to the guild
Holy shit, what's a good HR armor for this thing other than Velociprey?
It might be based on weapon type used. I see a lot of people bragging about beating X monster but having trouble with Y monster.
I just don't think they've perfectly balanced all monsters to all weapons yet, not to mention each weapon has to exploit different weakness', some harder than others while some easier.
>guy select quest
>he dies twice fighting the Gore Magala
>he exits the game
I also hate people who come in do one quest then fuck off
A perfect example of this is Gravios. Blademaster him and you got one helluva fight ahead, or waiting festival really.
Gun him, and you have the easiest time of your life. It's like he isn't a monster, but a cardboard cut out at target practice, you know... just with lava beams.
>implying any form of tigrex except this one is difficult
>mfw watching that one video with level 140 Yian Garuga
Like holy shit that thing is moving at like sanic speed.
Can I get the high rank Narga armor in this game or infact the high/Grank versions of the armors of any monster that isn't in this game? Or do i have to just git gut with low rank stuff?
If you have fastcharge, not really. Even if he does the quick turn around you still get the 3 charge. And you get some kind of momentary invincibility right after the slash hits the ground or at least a smaller hitbox so you can dodge appropriately in case it doesn't stagger.
Khezu isn't hard, but he's so fucking annoying. He's a fat ass piece of shit with too much HP.
Oh, what's that? You just swung a sword at him? Haha! your attack just bounced off his wing! Now you're in the hitstun animation and he just started his AoE lightning attack.
AND THEN HE NEVER STOPS FUCKING SCREAMING.
There are still the risks though. No real life animal just says, "Hey, let me hang around this predator of mine just because, like, he wouldn't try to kill me or anything, right?
>tfw shooting that fat piece of shit with rapid fire flaming shot
Ain't got time for your bullshit
Khezu, Basarios, Gravios, you all get the bowgun dick for being annoying pieces of shit
Lol, yeah. My problem with them is that by the time you take the time to kill all of them so they won't be a problem, another one or two have respawned in the zone. It's rather frustrating.
Pink Rathian appears to be my first roadblock in a Monster Hunter game ever.
Holy fucking shit why does it do so much damage. I can't even heal after any attack that poisons me because its fucking running attack does so much damage.
What did they do to it in this game, I didn't even give it a second look before.
>try grank not-jhen mohran yesterday with my trusty steve-hammer
>nothing breaks, never flinch it, fail with 5 minutes left
>make chaos gore armor and his gs and try him again today
>break his spinethingy in 5 charges, his arm in 3, kill him with 12 minutes left
Why exactly should i use hammer again, if CB does everything better and it´s dmg isn´t even that great?
Zinogre is the best. I want this SO BAD.
Why does one monster need to yell so much?
>Never stops screaming
Same shit with Gigginox. He'd chain up to four of the furthest reaching, high grade screams in the game at a time. On the other hand it made him super easy if you had the proper earplugs.
If they were balanced though, it wouldn't be written in stone either. You would just pick your favorite weapon and go at it.
I'm not saying it will ever likely be perfect, unless they just focus on balancing and don't make any new monsters for a whole generation. It's just that it would be nice to not have, 4 mins for a gun fight against Gravios and 12 mins with most blademaster weapons. Because with that, it is actually set in stone what one should use. The bowgun, every. single. time.
He will. Just kill everything that shows up. I'm pretty sure Kut Ku and Velocidrome are in every monsters Guild Quest pool. Alternatively, check your guild quest list, you probably have one.
Well, IMO they didn't do enough for hammer in this game. It literally has the same moves and movesets as 3rd gen with VERY VERY slight variations.
Would have liked to see a more mobile hammer with some new moves. Some people still enjoy it though, I guess. I just lost my luster for it.
I always found Baleful Giggy far easier, but the thing with Gigganox was that underneath it was generally fairly safe; you could sit in the groove between his wing and face and he'd generally just slide you around, giving you free belly hits.
Fuck Khezu though
>hr 7 now.
>want to heavybowgun for the first time
>idk what armor or bowgun to craft
The struggle is real.
any suggestions ?
sand barioth was fine, his biggest bullshits were the tornado swipe and the dust devils, but you can dodge his swipe by rolling into him in a diagonal and the dust devils you just needed to keep an ear out for them to know when they were coming close.
His AI just pissed me the fuck off.
I hate monsters who enjoy wasting time with super long range dodges or dashes
Rathian is a cunt for her area wide retard charge. I actually prefer Tigrex because at least he comes back.
Whoop de fuckin do, the pathetic element value on your Dual Blades is modified by 1.2 for a single hit every couple seconds.
That isn't regularly, not compared to the number of hits you're getting in.
I don't think I've carted yet against tigrex, brute tigrex, or molten tigrex. Heard all these horror stories and then I fight him and he is piss easy.
>mobility and knockout
Both which CB does better
I´ve been hammering on and off since MH1, but it´s the first time where i see absolutely no reason for using it when it´s completely outclassed by another weapon
Guys, I plan on making a naja armor for the hunt benefits.
But overall which is the better armor?
Say that I can decorate the naja armor to have hg earplugs, and I have already decorated the Rathian armor with fire attack +1, for a total of +2.
I also run a wyvern blade fall, so I get the fire attack benefits.
Which would be better for low rank HR?
High grade earplugs vs Fire attack +2 and wyvern blade.
I'm already at the hunt gore magala in the caravan quests.
Is it this?
>Garuga turns around
>goes from 75% health to maybe 2%
I need a 3DS
Even before Monster Hunter became this popular, every single thread about it always sucked.
Maybe there is something in this game that just makes the fanbase suck.
Actually element crit is still better on fast weapons, because you can just get expert +3 or latent power +2 or both with crit element on an already positive affinity weapon and you'll deal more element that any greatsword could hope for.
Problem with GS is that even with the damage buffs to elements they just aren't enough to make up for that ridiculous divider of 10. You get some extra hits, but literally status and raw are still going to likely be better on GS. Because you actually build openings for triple charges with most status' or deal tons of extra damage on raw weapons.
The only monsters whom will see a problem from elements with a GS afaik, are those that have really strong hitzones that don't take jack shit raw damage but take like 1.5x to 2x as much as the raw hitzone from element.
But I literally love the Nersylla Greatsword awakened. You can set up bombs on the side and triple charge the weakest zone when asleep and deal ridiculous damage.
Can someone tell me why any fucking form of kirin is behind an RNG wall? I just really want my fucking kirin booty underwear but nah, it has to be behind fucking expeditions as a proper guild quest. Oroshi Kirin at 10star fucking disappeared too.
>inb4 someone offers to share a kirin guild quest
I don't have online nigga, I'm trapped in this lewdless purgatory all by myself
Seltas Queen armor
>Be a Gundam
A Gunlance must have in my opinion
Let them know you're interested in a kirin guild quest.
Ask them to ask others for kirin guild quests.
RNG is a matter of probability. Work the system as it was intended to increase your odds.
Before the Wii version of Monster Hunter, it was not that popular, and the popularity of it spiked with the 3DS versions.
Even when people discussed the PSP versions, the entire thread were about "my weapon is better than your weapon" and "nerf this, nerf that" shit.
But those threads happened only sometimes, now it's that same shit, discussed everyday.
The weapons are quite balanced, and people fail to see that the game would like you to master at least two or three of them, but people don't, then they complain about other weapons, or the monsters who are harder to beat by using their favorite weapons. And don't even get me started on equipment discussions.
>just need 2 frost sacs for a full armor set
>5 hunts later still no sac
fucking desire detector
FU had the stupid balance issue of him giving the damage of monster later on in his rank but with the added detriment of wearing armor of the previous rank.
For me it was kill him as fast as possible before he kills me. He was much harder than he was in the later games but he was more predictable so the get in and get out weapons/lance were VERY effective.
I think he was nerfed a little too hard though.
Where did Shaggy Maggy quest go? I haven't got its fucking PLATE yet!
That ridiculous divider of ten applies to all weapons, not just Greatsword. It isn't even really a divider, it's just that the element value across all weapons is bloated, just like the raw value is.
The raw value is bloated by different values to give a casual observer an estimate of how strong each hit is between weapon types while also giving a measure of how much stronger a weapon is compared to another weapon within its own type.
Element values are bloated by ten across all weapons because they're generally not modified by any attacks other than Switch Axe Element Phials or Greatsword strikes. The bloating gives the casual observer a general idea of how much element they can expect to come out of their weapon compared to the average hit.
The thing about Greatswords is that while they are a raw-dominated weapon, they get some of the absolute beastliest element values of any weapon in the game even before multiplication, and due to the fact that you always want to run them with crit draw, depending on the weapon versus the monster crit element is best used on them than anything else. Why would anyone use Crit Element over Element Up for Dual Blades or Bows or SnS, especially considering that it stacks with Element Atk+3 now?
It's very obviously a skill designed for Greatswords, since they are very obviously trying to make it less dominated by just the absolute highest raw weapon you can get. Nothing else gets even remotely similar crit rates without having Frenzy Res / Biologist and using Chaotic Magala weapons.
The skill is obviously designed to bridge gaps between raw domination and raw with element domination, not to make raw with element domination even more pronounced than it already is.
Advanced Quests cycle.
It's fucking horseshit, and it took me twelve hunts to get ONE plate. There were times when I had to do two quests to get it to show back up. Fuck Kelbi hunting.
Picked up the first MonHun on release day and have been hooked since. MH4U is by far the best entry in the series. My only gripe is, Charge Blade. Holy shit, I understand it was designed as a Jack of All Trades, but it is actually a Master of All Trades. I would just not use it, but, it's so goddamn satisfying, just wish it did about half the damage it does now, or they remove the final burst.
Oh man, I'm not going to quote every single post here. But there are, raw x element, "I can't find this or that", "This version is better than this version" and "git gud" tier comments.
Not counting the shitload of helpless people who keep asking basic questions. "Is this weapon good?"
>You'll never fight a frenzied Luna and Teo together.
Why even live?
Wait a moment. Do Advanced quests count to a tier's completion?
I have gold check marks on all caravan quests so far, but I fear I might be missing some low level Advanced quests because I never bothered to check the tiers I've already completed.
Hey guys I wanna give Lancing a try and was wondering what are good paths for the Lance. Should I focus more on raw and sharpness than elements/status effects?
For armor ANYTHING with AU (M/L) and evade distance up (a must if you can) bring stamina drinks as well.
For weapon anything that has a good amount of Raw and lots of level 2/3 normal shots or low recoil for pierce.
front legs will just make you bounce
keep mounting the damn thing if you want to break his chest
care for the hyper beam
he will fail trying to use it but if it connects im guessing its a 1-hit kill
he'll only aim it on his front unlike the sweep variation he has on the higher ranks so nothing to worry about
It is exactly what you said. I think the chances of you getting it depends on how fast you finish it.
But the quality of the stuff you get depends on the ques's level so they say.
Aw shit, are you me? I did that yesterday to get zinogre's GL. After a while, I said "fuck it" and started mining in the gathering quests. After maybe 15 minutes, I got 2 in the same quest. Now I gotta farm tigrex tails
There's two low rank village brachy quests, 6* and/or urgent quest if I recall. It's literally right before high rank, but trust me when I say this set can carry you through high rank.
So I'm considering getting a 3DS, however, I know nothing about models and I've noticed there are several new ones along with some seemingly mixed feedback. I imagine I'd use the system mainly for Monster Hunter (which is why I'm asking here), what would you guys reccomend system wise??
I kinda want a Khezu plush to fit an onahole in it.
Ah, awesome. This one? I wasn't sure if it was the tiny plush version or the big one.
Yeah it's that one.
I actually imported the Deviljho from Japan but a friend in the US collected it and sent it for free through his work so I still only spent ~£20.
I'm going to fit a squeeze noisemaker in with the scream if I do get it.
Go for the N3DS since this is your first one. It has more power than the old ones, better 3D tracking, extra buttons and a nub for moving the camera in games.
But if you can't afford to stop 200 dollary doos, a regular 3DS XL should be fine too
I'm using the monster hunter N3DS, it feels so comfy in my hand
level 140 apex monsters really give me ptsd sometimes.
>farming dual rajang, both apex, in the middle of killing one
>all is well, no ones even hurt, suddenly big bro raj steps in, king size faggot with king size hitboxes buries two of us into the ground
>the first one is dead, but I die from the scratch damage rajang deals when it slowly dies, quest failed.
Not that other guy, but back when I played MHFU and the DS/MHP3/WII versions weren't out, I found bros here to hunt with online.
The threads had plenty of non shitposters. You would get methods to go online with PSP, people to chat with about hunting, help with guild quests and such.
I don't remember any complaining about shit, are you sure you remember the threads right?
hes a fucking bitch at expeds though
he ran away because a gypceros wanted to play with me
dont even get me started with the RNG
i got gore to appear twice before i saw the fucker again
Usually if I see "the monster is going to flee" its when it's about to die to another lvl 3 charge.
Expeditions are great for learning how to manage 2 monsters in one zone too.
Keep at it.
Some monsters are also crazy good at helping you kill the other monster, like Brachy in Mark of a Hero from 3U and the Lagombi worked with me to kill the frenzy Zamtrios in the Wyporium quest.
>not making a crossplay console port
I have a Yian signed by the director. Its fucking fading though.
I was just looking at getting a Gore.
I haven't seen a Rajang about, but
I've not fought him in 4U yet and I'm a 3Ubabbyso I doubt I'd have really noticed him if he was on a list.
The Tigrex and Narga are really expensive at the moment, it looks like I got my Dios and Zinogre when they were cheap.
I'd be taking the Kut-Ku out and displaying it myself, but I know that devalues it.
>that double tigrex egg deliver quest
Just why? Even the Rathalos and rathian one was less boring
I just spent 30 minutes paintballing both of them and then slowly walking from area to area when both of them moved
>bring a water lbg to gravios
>six minute hunt
jesus fuck. now this is bowgun power.
Each new installment of MH keeps getting easier for me so they definitely nerf the difficulty
I miss the shitboxes days... Now that was quality gameplay!
>just got my majora 3DS from play-asia
There was something special about getting vacuumed into plesioth hip-checks that you just don't get in the newer games
Just memorable bullshit to talk about
Now you just go and do a hunt and maybe you cart once if you fuck up bad and get stunned. You just run through it and there's not much to say unless you're new to the games and not used to shit like rathian tail flips.
Shit man, fucked if I know. Pray they decide to send me a replacement and not fuck me over I guess. Waiting for them to tell me to talk to fedex and that it's not their problem. They already said 'send pictures, we pack our shit properly so it's not our fault'. Yeah, they put it in a flimsy cardboard box and taped it, no packing beans or anything for a fucking limited console they charge double for.
My luck even if I get a replacement I'll probably get one with dead pixels, or they won't have any more Majora consoles. Fuck Nintendo for making these things such bullshit to get.
The only memorable and frustrating thing about every mh game I've played is getting combo'd which already happened to me in 4U
It was my first time carting as well
But honestly all my good memories come from playing with friends, not the game itself.
So I've finished the village 6*, at least I think I have.
All the other ranks below it are 100% complete, with the golden tick things, but the 6* one is silver.
Is there something I'm missing? I haven't done the urgents, so maybe it's that? The previous ranks never bothered with me leaving the urgents til last.
If only there were some sort of thing for this
