Holy shit that everything. Japan only, whyyyyyyy?
At least this is still getting a fan translation.
>Why isn't this coming over?
Because you didn't buy me.
>soundtrack not being done by smash mouth
I wish we would just get the 3DS version already. It has like twice the Digimon in it.
Wait, I thought you only got this if you pre-ordered? If it's actually giving it to everybody that's hella boss.
It's a shitty fighter that even Japan didn't want.
Digimon World for the PSOne has issue, but the concept is solid. The PSP remake/sequel, or even the 3DS one, if you can speak Japanese, is better though because it lacks game-breaking bugs. Don't get the PAL version unless you like being unable to complete games.
After that, they're all pretty shitty unless you like their specific type of game. Try Card Battle if you like cards, or Digimon World Dawn/Dusk if you want all the Digimon in a fairly standard JRPG and don't mind grinding out the ass for anything beyond your starting team.
>Hackers are running amok in Cyberspace, using Digimon to further their scheming.
>The two rival gangs "Zaxon" and "Daemons" have clashed and their careless fighting is now threatening to collapse cyberspace itself, unless our protagonists can save the day.
>Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth will also include the Digi-Farm!
>Players can use the Digi-Farm to level up their Digimon when they miss out on your adventures. Players can set a Digimon leader to train your other Digimon, either instructing them in 'Special Training', 'Development', or 'Investigation'.
>Different Digimon leaders will excel in different fields. Players can also feed their Digimon on the farm. Feeding your Digimon regularly will develop and deepen bonds between you and your digital monsters!
So Ami Ami or Play Asia?
What makes you think it's not coming over?
They're bringing J stars versus, One piece warriors 3, SAO lost song, God eater 2 RB and all other anime games.
With all of them doing incredibly well on the Vita, they are pretty much bringing all of their games over.
Worst case scenario is we'll see a 1.5 version of this game for 2016 for PS4/Vita just to have a full scale JRPG for the PS4.
You can be sure that it's gonna get a Chinese localization too.
>simultaneous release of gundam breaker 2 in chinese
>GE2RB already released simultaneously
>confirmed localization of PS NOVA
>also get toukiden kiwami much earlier
>danganronpa twin pack chinese exclusive
>sen no kiseki
All fucking physical in chinese. Fuckin hell man.
And they're all cheaper than the jap or probable english version too.
Is it easier to localize shit from jap to chink?
Or the Vita is actually doing well enough there?
I can get them easily enough here
SEAfagbut I don't know chingchongnese.
Well think about it this way.
Nintendo's selling a lot of Wii U with games like Mario Kart, Smash bros and etc.
Well in quarterly report for the past 2 years, Sony is selling MORE VITAs than Wii Us. We know as a fact that it's not selling that amazing in japan and europe+america doesn't account for all the large amounts of Vitas sold every month. So where does it go?
The only logical conclusion from every major company localising and releasing major japanese games in chinese and korean is that it's going to south east asia, china and korea.
Have JP version preordered but chances are this might actually be brought over to coincide with the next anime season. Bamco pisses me off though, they did bad things with Ace Combat and think they can appease fan outcry for the 3DS/Vita game with that terrible All-Star game.
Anyone else liked digimon world 3 / 2003 quite a bit? I loved to play it on my PSone back then, but now that I can have it on-the-go with emulators I might not need the nostalgia goggles in order to appreciate it anymore
Digimon games have always been willing to try new things. I love Pokemon, but the main series is all the same basic game.
Digimon World was an open world adventure where you raised a single Digimon like it was a 3D Tamagotchi.
Digimon World 2 was a dungeon crawler myter dungeon type thing.
Digimon World 3 was a pretty standard JRPG.
Digimon World 4 was an action RPG I think?
Then the Digimon worlds after that admittedly get kind of samey.
I'd rather this, personally.
anyway, why is nobody streaming something Digimon?
>wanting that over a PS2 era style JRPG with detective cases, a traditional battle system, raising mechanics, Danganronpa music, and a much higher budget
But then how can I lord my 3DS over vitafags?
>wanting a JRPG over spiritual successor to the only good Digimon game from before the 2010s full of adventure and comfy monster raising experiences
I bet you don't even like Monster Rancher.
Cause the /a/ threads died thanks to DemiDevimon, and they never migrated to /m/.
>same monster raising
No, it doesn't. In Re:Digitize the raising is linked to your Digivolution. In CS, Digivolution is based on leveling up.
Also, I think it's a bit too early to say anything certain about CS's raising mechanics. Digimon World Dawn and Dusk had the DigiFarm, too. It sucked balls.
Digimon World, despite the bugs, was the objective best Digimon Game ever released in the US.
I have no clue, the character models and city location and specifically digimon monster battling does put me in mind of Nocturne a bit.
They're probably talking about the character designs being by the same guy, not the gameplay.
I really hope this one isn't bad.
That's not an uncommon thing for vita games.
Like that Sword Art Online game. It's already got 100+ hours of content, and a load of dlc to play afterwards. all free
>inb4 sword art online is shit
The game has no right to be as good as it is
>mfw this faggot Yasuda keeps working on Digimon instead of Devil Survivor 3.
What the fuck is Atlus doing.
Open up those grammar books and anki.
I want Shoutmon and Tentomon but they'll probably be tough to get early on if at all possible.
Gonna get me a Keramon, that fucker is the best. Hagurumon can stay, Palmon depends on how decent her non-Lilymon lines are, might replace her with some other InsectPlant Digimon.
Break Record is coming out soon. Hopefully we can get DeSu3 afterwards.
It looks like Digimon Dawn/Dusk.
It looks a lot like Digimon Dawn/Dusk, complete with the catch% when fighting opponents.
Also, not sure who this guy is. Looks like one of the Ange/Devi hybrids.
Mastemon, fusion of Angewomon and LadyDevimon, used by >>285064068.
>that's literally all we know about them so far
>only some small image available
>good royal knights
>4 out of 6 are MC digimon
When will it be Dynasmon's time be a good guy again?
Hell yeah motherfucker
But yeah, it pretty much is always Betamon.
Will BanchoStingmon finally make an appereance in a video game.
Thank God, no more Neo Agumon with the shitty red belts
So why are people pissed about this so much that they go all "muh cuck muh ntr" on it?
Oh yes, grown up Adventure 01 cast is the best. The only reason I stomached 02 was to see the furter adventures of Tai et co.
I always lose my shit whenever I remember the shitass american opening
>DIGIMON DIGITAL MONSTERS
hikari and sora actually look like they just photoshopped one face on two people
What excites me most about Cyber Sleuth is the new Digivolution trees.
No more "branches" that are really just separate straight lines. Look at this shit. Digivolve your Agumon into Greymon, then back down into ToyAgumon, and then continue up that tree.
Or maybe Agumon into Greymon into Skull Greymon, back down to Dark Lizardmon into Candlemon.
I'm hyped for these Digivolution shenanigans.
>tfw you finally grew up and realised Yamato + Gabumon >>> Taichi + Agumon
Tai didn't deserve Sora, it's a shame they're retconning the Adventure 02 futures in the new season.
Literally every other localization just had a translated JP op. It's just the English that got shafted. For every Digimon seasons, too.
Same with Dragonball Z, Dragonball, and GT.
The other GT openings are so good, but the Americans get some shitty rap
And of course I'd forget the fucking picture.
I know, as a spic I always laugh my ass off whenever someone mentions that the american dubs are good.
HOLY SHIT, Thank you.
>best OG MetalGreymon is in the game
>tai still wont end up with sora
>instead he'll get some shit tier oc do not steal black haired shy girl who has loved him all along
Does Digimon do anything with mobile devices? When Pokemon HG/SS, I enjoyed being rewarded for getting off my fat ass. I'm surprised that didn't carry over into the other Pokemon games or even to mobile platforms.
tai and sora dont have any reason to end up together
Digimon Crusaders is being exported, I've heard.
>new anime has lower budget than Xros Wars
>devs are probably in absolute crunch mode working on this game that will at best only sell enough to turn even what with the bloated advertising costs
Digimon is suffering.
Will best Greymon appear in Cyber Sleuth?
He's making a joke on the crest of love, I think.
But yeah, direct references to them being a couple were mostly in the dub, but even the Japanese actors expected them to be together, since they were the main guy and girl characters, it was just kind of expected..
I hope you aren't being serious.
I hate that over-designed shit that came later on.
Just look at this ugly piece of shit. Almost as bad as yours.
It's finally happened.
I've lived to see a Digimon fan whine about later generations having over-designed Digimon.
Looks really good hope it isn't plagued by framerate issues.
Heard you talking shit, like I wouldn't find out.
Tai is the clumsy (physically and socially) but lucky everyman all the kids who watched Digimon wanted to be, especially since he actually has character development during the show. Matt was your cool friend who never had to change but for some reason kept amassing greater and greater life victories.
And then he takes your bitch.
>complaining about "overdesigned" designs in fucking Digimon
