Name a game with perfect visual design for every character.
Has yet to be surpassed
Not only nailed character designs, but it nailed the mech designs too.
iDOLM@STER is great at that regard. Just by a glance you can see that they have:
>generic girl's friend
>genki little girl
>serious, no nonsense girl
>mysterious foreign girl
i honestly feel this way about every nomura FF character design; they always look cohesive and match with the settings of each game, even with characters like tidus, vanille, and fang, who come from different worlds within their respective titles
You'd be right except that Koromaru's design is fucking shit because of those retarded faggy wings
Well they didn't put Nomura in charge of his own branch within the company just cuz of his good looks! He used to make some pretty good stuff before he went the anorexic route
pic related, 'perfect' character design.
his tendency toward worthless baubles and accessories was at its lowest point here. With each character he designed, he would add more baubles and spikes and clips and wacky hair and trinkets until they looked fucking obnoxious.
it's odd how both the gameplay and character design are very reminiscent of FFXII's
Hotline Miami. Though I guess it isn't as prevalent in game.
Literally (I mean literally) the only thing in that screenshot that looks any good at all is the armor. DAI has some really detailed-as-fuck armor, too bad about (again, literally) everything else.
Funny how all it takes is a single minor tweak and Vaan's design is fucking god-tier
>tfw Mitsuru and MC isn't shipped more even though that is the most aesthetically pleasing looking couple.
give him a rest m8, he was a street rat. he could either afford steel greaves and turquoise jewelry, or a shirt
i dislike toriyama's art style but the designs themselves are top-tier
>not possessing the ability to detect sarcasm
If it weren't for Teddy this would be true. They all have unique builds and profiles and their clothings designs all fit a school uniform pattern while still being unique to them individually. There's nothing really exceptional about it, but its 100% good character design.
