>>285621874 I like co-op with someone I know. I find it a bit weird to help people who I don't know, but it did make me feel good when it actually works out. I could never get into invasions though. enjoyed the pve too much in the first two games to even bother doing it and by DaSII most of it felt really cheap.
>>285621874 I like helping people, but only because I'm a beta loser who enjoys helping people and gets all warm and fuzzy when doing good deeds, despite the fact that my life is shit and I need to learn to help myself more.
>>285622875 Both have their merits, but in the end there's just a certain satisfaction in that moment just as your red phantom backstabs and kills each summon and eventually the host and then gesturing as you get indicted
>>285623673 I did start with DS1, but since I am a PC fag, I was repulsed by the majority of flaws and elements by the 30th minute of gameplay. I am hoping that DS2 is more optimized for PC experience.
>invade a level >find host >attempt to run past them >if I succeed, I start to kill all the enemies >they eventually start tagging along >get to the boss fog >stand in front of it >I am the final challenge
>invade player in DaS1 >Lost Izalith >can't find player anywhere, he's clearly up to the boss gate though >notice his hp bar going down continually beneath me, meaning he's in the poison maze under the collapsible floor >watch his hp gauge as he finally, finally makes it out of the area and climbs up that last tree root >he looks so weary >i jump out from behind the corner and smack him back down to the bottom with the BKUGS >he takes fall damage but doesn't die immediately >dies to poison
I actually felt pretty bad about that one. Most of the time I help folks out. I'm sure I'd have been pretty salty if that had happened to me.
>>285624413 >literally sentenced someone to spend another eternity trudging through that hell. >the only award for that is fighting fucking Bed of Chaos. You're an awful, great example of what invaders should be.
Just having fun doing silly shit. That's the best. One time i got invaded while at the bottom of Sen's and i decided i to make a run for it, and he actually managed to keep up really well through the whole thing. We then had a duel at the top.
Once you added the dsfix DS1 runs flawlessly and you can even scale the fuckhuge UI. DS2 on the other hand has a bug where item degradation is based on your FPS, meaning your weapon will break twice as fast at 60fps.
>DaS2 pre-patch Shrine of Amana >help people through with magehybrid build. >that one long stretch before the 3rd bonfire >all those sorcerers and knights >hacking through them and casting spells alongside a host >killed the invader that comes after >fade away just before getting him to Demon of Song >tfw he sent me a message saying he killed and greatly appreciated my help
>>285621874 I like helping. Generally more satisfying Partially because I just like coop stuff Partially because I suck at PVP Partially because enemies always seem much stronger than I am in pvp (i do low damage, they do high damage, that sort of thing)
>>285625241 Well, these news pretty much ruined the mood now, hells. What triggered me the most in DS1, was that I couldn't even rotate the face of my character during the creation, not to mention the abhorring controls.
Is DS1 on PC still active? I just did a complete playthrough but I only saw a single summon sign the whole time. Might be because I didn't level past 50 though.
Low-level invasions when the PC version just came out where fun as fuck though. >play all the way to 4kings so I can join dickwraiths at level 1 >invade people at undead burg dual wielding Dark Hand >cast Iron Flesh >just walk towards them and pummel them Mages would fuck my shit up though since I couldn't dodge. More fun: >invade world >drop blooming purple moss >throw dungpies and toxic player >if they beat me in time they can remove toxic, otherwise they slowly succumb
>>285625883 Didn't have a gamepad on the hand at the time, but yeah, I'll be definitely be using it for DS2. Can you direct me to the fix please, because I searched high and low back then, and couldn't find jack shit.
Invading people and then killing everybody who tries to invade afterwards. Invasions rarely last long enough for that to happen though. The three-ways that used to go down in the forest were fucking hilarious.
I ranked all the way through the sunlight covenant in DaS1 in Anor Londo. The rare opportunities that we got a 3-man gank squad together to fight O&S was some of the most fun I ever had in the game. The only thing better was when a Darkmoon blade would invade our host when all three of us were running around clearing the area. Poor bastard didn't stand a chance.
In DaS2, I ranked through the sun covenant again, but not with any one particular boss. Did a lot of runs with people against Old Dragonslayer, Twin Dragonriders, Throne Watcher/Defender, and Nashandra. Was pretty fun, but nothing compared to co-op in Anor Londo.
DSfix for 60fps and small UI and prequisite for most other things http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/19/? Mouse fix: http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/28/?
Your fps in DS1 affect your moment when rolling/jumping. As such, some jumps become harder at 60fps. I locked my game to 45fps instead since it feels a lot better than 30 and it doesn't mess with any of the jumps.
>DaS NG >Chillin' in Undead Burg >Kill the hollows throwing firebombs >You have been Invaded >Watch the host spawn, run along the bridge, into where the door to lower Undead Burg is >Time it right >Drop down with a plunging attack and one-shot him
I very much enjoyed the character I made on DaS1 for invasions with the darkwraiths. I kept him at level 20, got a maxed out gravelord greatsword, and then went up to O&S for Smough's armor. He was basically a fat blob that would freak people out who were going to the Capra Demon. Ohter than that, Anor Londo invasions are my second favorite thing.
>Go through the level killing all the NPC's since they won't touch you but you can kill them >Get to the end >At the end wave at them as a sort of sending them off >They wave or bow as thanks >They go to the fog gate >One shot them in a backstab >Welcome to demon's souls
At first I go for helping people, which is great, but that does get boring relatively quickly. The endgame for me is the thrill of the hunt. The AI bosses will behave the same way every time, but every invasion is different.
There's just something about getting a message from an anon in full caps after helping with O&S that is truly satisfying. Invading is fun, but it's most enjoyable when the host has phantoms with him, and then a blue/red invades at the same time. The 1v1v2 scenarios soon to be 3v1v1v1 in DaSII are the best.
>>285627598 Oh god, I had something like that happen to me at the shortcut from Lower Undead Burg to that one sewer tunnel with the undead merchant. A guy and his 2 friends were camping in there, waiting for me to enter so they could rape me. I waited outside for a bit, ran past the door, and they began to chase me. I ran back up into that tower, and tried to get the falling attack on them but missed. I quickly rolled between the host and backstabbed him, instantly killing him. While I was waiting to go back to my world though, I managed to kill his partner as well, with normal attacks.
Felt so great, they were both in stuff to gimp noobs too.
Advice number 1, classes only effect your starting gear
Advice number 2, dump armor till you're under 50% equip load for easy rolling, this will save your ass a lot more than any armor will
Advice number 3, do not make an "all rounder" build you will suck at everything, pick a build and stick with it.
From there it should be good enough to pick up the rest on your own, where the dragons are in world 1 are some great items, if you kill the boss, go to the nexus and come back they might not be there so grab what you can if you can.
Either way I am really surprised at how Dark Souls is still very much alive PC. Maybe Steam is actually working its magic, but I remember waiting forever for a single invade back in the days of GFWL. Now I get invade responses almost instantly
Best starting char is Pyromancer since pyromancy flame is awesome, scales by itself and weighs nothing. Blocking is alright, make sure to get a Balder shield when you can. That shield can last you the whole game.
>There are cuckolds in this thread that prefer helping over invading
There is nothing, NOTHING, better than seeing the fear and despair of a host being translated on his character actions.
>First he starts sprinting to the beginning of the area after getting the message of being invaded >Sometimes he will take literal 10 to 15 minutes waiting >Finally he gets courage, walks 5 steps, look everywhere and repeat >He stands just right outside of enemy range, feeling the ambush >He is afraid, but yet anxiety and impatient takes over him and he tries to continue his game >You show up >His behaviors become totally erratic and he'll die to the enviroment or the enemies >If he somehow doesn't die, he 'll keep running or turtling from you for literal 5 to 10 minutes while you torture him psychologically >He will summon a white cuck if available and let the white 1v1 because he is too afraid >Sometimes he'll try to give a slap on you, but you slap his shit 1v2 and he backs away and let the white 1v1 >You destroy the white >He tries to run/turtle/summon again >You finally kill him
When i look at my screen while invading, i don't see a character, i see a reason human having a facian expression of true horror, it was pure comedy. Invading on Sen Fortress was one of my best online gaming experiences at adulthood. Sometimes having mercy at the host and showing you're allowing him to live is extremely satisfying.
>>285627060 Gravelord Servants have one major flaw that makes them so rarely encountered: your summon sign will spawn in other people's worlds at the exact spot where you stand. So since people generally can't afford to look for a moving sign in a gravelorded world, you have to stand prefectly still to even hope being invaded, and risk being killed if you're afk in the meantime; thus the game becomes a borefest. Too bad, it's a pretty interesting mechanic other than that
>>285628738 >>285628846 I meant to say Summoner, I usually hang out in Anor Londo as a generic lightning ninja and use the Uchigatana's bleed buildup to decimate O&S. But I hate when the person who summoned me thinks his estus is too fucking valuable to spend on me.
Speaking of Anor Londo, I've seen a LOT of Drake Sword users lately.
They're both fun, but I find that helping generally fosters pleasant feelings and invading fosters negative ones. Part of that is that my internet is always shit, so I can never get gud at pvp. And then there are the times (every time) when the host already has a phantom and you just get ganked. With a poor internet connection I can still help with some consistency
Just do a level 1 run and slowly increase your level if you notice you're not getting enough invasions. I don't think there's an upper limit though so if you're level 1 you should be able to invade anyone.
>Ratbro >Summoned players don't lose anything >On a fucking optional area
Rat covenant was absolutely shit and the area can be easily rushed through. Not that the same couldn't be said about any area, but considering the nature of the covenant, they should've put some effort into the level design of the rat areas.
>>285629940 I play with the mouse without the mousefix and I do fine Tried the mousefix, suddenly can't turn the camera, can't target by pressing mouse wheel and my parry button spots working I must've configured it wrong I guess
>>285630207 Where are all the gifs from the early days of dark souls, where people pull each other across the map and slam themself through the ground? I wish I saved them with all this muh perfect DaS circlejerking.
>>285631281 >Dickstab Forest >Guy is being chased by like three NPCs and then I invade him >He rushes at me, freaking out and starts whacking me with his Falchion >Since I'm in my glorious Golem armor he can't do shit to me >Do the "point" gesture at the NPCs and stay still >He gets the point, goes and kills them, then comes over to me and I end up killing him >He sends me a really nice message thanking me for not ganking him
With the game being out for so long, though, some people have gotten experienced and hat fear is harder to come by. every now an then, however, youll come across a newby who is obviously terrified. shits great
>>285621874 I felt like dick the few times I tried invading. I didn't really get any fun out of it and just felt bad for the guy. I do however enjoy killing invaders in the cheapest way possible.
Co-op is pretty awesome although the problem with it is I feel like no boss has AI that reacts well to multiple players. I haven't played DS2 yet but I hear there are a lot of multi-boss setups there so it might be more fun there.
Still, I've had a lot of fun with random people in DeS on PS3 and I've had a lot of fun with a friend ind DS on PC.
Hopefully Bloodborne delivers. Wish it was either on PC or I had some console friends...
Invading. Low Level invasions to be specific. Especially when people are still discovering things in the game. I don't care if it makes me an asshole. Fucking over someone by killing them, and then knowing that they probably aren't skilled enough to make it back to their blood stain feels awesome. It also feels great to beat gankers or hacker(s), especially through cheap ways like knocking them off a cliff by spamming WoG. They get so fucking mad its hilarious.
>>285621874 Helping Invasions are only fun if you know what you're doing, if you don't bother to spec into stuff that's good for PvP odds are you won't have a very fun time, whereas bosses are always fun and it feels good to help someone out
>>285625756 Dark Souls on PC is having really wonky connection issues ever since the Steam migration. Basically, you are on a timer to connect with new nodes after 600 seconds. The timer isn't resetting like it should be, meaning you are connected to the same players for long periods of time (you only connect to 21 nodes max). I had the same message in my game for a fucking week.
>>285621874 It depends. Right now I'm role playing a valiant knight so I help people but I also had a dickass thief who would use illusion magic to backstab people before they walked through the boss fog.
Why can't there be a game that take Souls pvp fundamentals and puts it into a game where it actually works. I mean, i have thousands of hours on purely pvp in both DaS1 and 2 and i still think it's broken mess in most ways. But i can't stop.
>>285633912 If you can't control the camera with an analog stick then you're probably just fucking retarded. This isn't an FPS where you have to aim and mouse is more precise, this is a third person game where you have a lock on and you only need to have them on your screen and the camera rotates fast enough to see whatever you need to at any given moment.
Hunting heretics and degenerates. Oh how they love to run from me, especially when i'm being summoned to protect the host! I can feel their fear when they can't do shit with their garbage longswords against my 2h chime shield bashes. There's no better feeling than pursuing a blood brotherhood degenerate through the entire area, chipping his health further and further till he has nowhere to run and just dies, trying to parry your last attack in panic.
>>285634216 I'd say 20s for Depths, maybe low 30s at most, that's roughly the level I expect to see people doing Gaping and heading into Blighttown the normal way, and if they are doing that instead of just going through Valley of Drakes then they're gonna be fresh meat more than likely
>first time playing >just lit the first bonfire after you leave shrine >you have been invaded >what does that mean >a glowing red man with a giant sword is rapidly approaching from the distance >I run >there's no time to look back >I drop off a ledge >he falls on top of me >you have died >you have received a message >'I am going to help you beat the boss' >he did
I didn't even know dark souls had online features until that moment
>>285621874 Everyone talks about invasion and co-oping, how about some love for the most underappreciated multiplayer feature: soapstone messages.
I fucking love messages. Their inane silliness breaks up the harsh atmosphere of the game. I also love seeing all the motivational "don't give up" messages. It's such a small thing, but they really cheer me up.
What's your favorite message you've seen? Pic related.
Invading was a lot funner and getting invaded was a lot funner in the first souls. Twinks would only invade parish, but once you made it past that you'd have good fights with invaders. II was kind of a let down in the regard of random invaders because FROM made it tough to get cracked eye orbs. Thus all the people that want to fight just do it in the arenas.
I've played through Dark Souls several times, but have barely ever been invaded since I tend to do base soul level runs. I've done a reasonable amount of invading myself, though (generally in the forest and township). Will I get a different and better PVP experience if I make a higher level character? Is it worth it? And what level should I go for?
>>285635626 If you just level naturally and don't twink you'll get some decent PvP but also a lot of scrubs who are just playing through normally. For dedicated PvP people tend to sit around 120-125 SL and hang out in Oolacile and Undead Burg since that's the level where you have the stats to specialize a build but not do everything at once.
>be playing dark souls >dukes archives, getting my ass kicked >phone a friend and get him online to help me out >we are never able to see one another's or anybody else's summon signs >get invaded 3 times while trying to work something out >fight and lose to the first guy, chameleon and waste a half an hour of the next two guys' time
why the fuck is it so easy to get invaded sometimes but so hard to summon someone
>>285629280 >There is nothing, NOTHING, better than seeing the fear and despair of a host being translated on his character actions >When i look at my screen while invading, i don't see a character, i see a reason human having a facian expression of true horror
get a load of this edgelord
let me guess, 14 year old, fat, lack of friends and people making fun of you at school ?
>>285632654 I still remember playing the first week of release and invading as a bloodbro in the belltower. >invade in belltower >wag the finger at the host telling him I don't wanna fight >proceed to transform into a crate >surprise bellfaggot invader bloodlad and host here to keep that titanite chunk
>>285634862 I played through all of DaS1 with kb+m, mostly because I forgot I actually had a controller in my house. To make matters worse, I had hardware issues that make using DSMfix impossible.
I think it's definitely possible to git gud, and I was able to get used to it, but after remembering I had a controller come DaS2, I'd say that controller is the way the game is meant to be played, mostly because From hired a bunch of gibbering monkeys to make the PC port.
>>285636029 Claiming that the shit controls on the pc for ANY souls title are good, is such a fallacy, that you MUST be an underaged "Master Race" memespouter. No One but perhaps retards claim the controls work for that shitty port.
>>285636707 I hate it when I invade the Parish with a +5 weapon and get one-shotted before I realize the other guy is overlevelled. I have a chaos weapon on switch but I often can't tell when to use it.
I never liked invading, too nice i guess. I loved co-op in demons, used to spend the whole day helping people out. In dark it was just too easy to steamroll everything, so i just posted at bosses instead of doing the whole level. Currently, i barely do anything online with das 2 because of SM. The gaping ring kind of helps, but i like getting souls so it's kind of a bust.
>>285621874 I like PvP in arena situations, but I don't like doing invasions. I always feel like such an asshole hopping into someone else's game and ruining their day.
It doesn't help that the first time I really tried invasions was with my caster build, since I lost my only token of spite and wanted to join the BoB. I would still buff, but I felt like such a douche whenever I used something like GMB or Affinity.
>>285638020 Poise for individual equipment pieces is now separate rather than being a sum, meaning that anything less than Havel's is probably not going to protect you from more than a single hit before you stagger, and with the addition of faster heavy weapons and powerstance it's just complete shit now.
>>285638020 Poise damage: >tripled during pvp >halved during pve Or something along those lines. Coupled with working hyperarmor it's a good system, it just took too long to test it out. You can make hyperarmor poisetanks with heavy str weapons and they will be viable.
>>285637374 I often try and hide myself out of the way so that I can observe the invader first, see if I can get a gauge on where they lie between 'genuine invader' and 'twink' (fog ring helps in that regard).
If they're rolliing with normal looking gear for that area, I'll switch to the +5 stuff I'm carrying (default knight set, broadsword and tower kite shield, or something along those lines).
On the other hand, if it's some gold-hemmed wearing, ninja flipping, zweihander wielding twink (or something equally and obviously) then HULK SMASH.
>>285638032 Shit like that is funny. If I was creative enough to come up with gimmick invasions, I would do that. Even doing fair combat with the host is fine, I just hate tryhards who hide behind enemies to stack buffs and spam magic.
Not to mention half the time I've been invaded it's been by a havelmonster, which are never fun to fight.
>>285638703 Soul memory system with agape ring made most complains completely retarded. You can make coop builds, you can make low-sm invasion builds, but at the same time it seriously limits the amount of tryhardness as you're not forced to stay at shitty SL150 if you want to pvp on NG+. It's not a perfect system, but right now it sure as hell not worse than soul level matchmaking because it said a huge "fuck off" to metaniggers who take the game too serious.
>>285622875 It really does depend. I don't get much joy out of invading some guy running around Sen's in his starting equipment but I sure do enjoy helping him fight off phantoms and bosses.
Invading does have it's moments especially when you invade someone several hundred soul levels higher than you and just win in a straight fight.
I remember invading some giant-flipping chucklefuck in Sen's when I was SL 30 and playing the Viking of Sen's Fortress. He was throwing around WOTG, Magic and pyromancy like it was candy. Then switching to a havel-shield and black knight halberd every time I got near. I managed to backstab him four times and get him with all 3 WOTG casts. He and I only had pixel of health left and I killed him by doing one damage through his shield.
I got at least 400 or 500k from the kill and it was great. But it still wasn't nearly as fulfilling as helping some scrub through an area and getting a sincere thank you message from them.
>>285628332 >Des didn't pvp, got the game way too late >Das I can't remember the name of the area but it was where there were a bunch of those capra demons and the worms >Das2 Dragon's shrine Hands down best place especially when I went full drakekeeper with the drakekeeper sword. Goddam that weapon is off the chain.
>>285639490 >i'm using scythe of want, sanctum shield hyperarmor dash and offhand bandit knife plus some hexes >he's using majestic greatsword, bone fist and pyromancies >double ko after long and satisfying battle with unusual tactics and flashy moves
>get invaded >sit by sunlight altar >he runs into the doorway and well what is it's me >I turn around and bow preparing my anus because I'm a nor mine and he looks like a twink >he runs up to the altar and well what is it's again >backstab him then r2 until he dies >send him a message "Lmao no poise"
>>285639738 I pvp as a way of self improving and learning he builds. You'll need to learn to pvp to defend yourself against invaders. And you WILL be invaded evntually. Thats the reason I bought a gamepad, so that Im not at a major disadvantage against someone who actually CAN do jumping attacks and shield breaks.
I made a character and dressed myself up in Iron Golem armor and used his weapon to blow people off the top of Sen's Fortress. It was fucking glorious when I hit them and they fell all the way down to the giant or back down into Sens.
It stinks how you have to battle a lot in the Colosseum just to get the ability to fight anywhere else. The limited items also mean that each invasion is more serious and you can't, say, invade for the hell of it since every use brings you closer to the Colosseum again. If you just buy the orbs instead, your Soul Memory shoots through the roof and brings you closer to the eternal hell that is the speedy crystal Havel hexer bracket.
>>285640430 get past the soul level people fiht mos commonly at. ie avoid duel areas in DaS 1 avoid sl 150 in DaS2 Its always riddled with cheap tryhard builds, when you get past them, you'll run into much more natural players, and fighting is so much more fun
>>285640603 I put "tongue but hole" among that mass of "pull back" messages in Aldia's keep right before the lever that releases Navlaan. That section is so creepy, so hopefully someone will get a laugh out of that.
>>285634350 >Hunting heretics and degenerates. >Oh how they love to run from me, especially when i'm being summoned to protect the host! >I can feel their fear when they can't do shit with their garbage longswords against my 2h chime shield bashes.
I've probably stomped you 10x over with my Greatsword. I bet you're one of those faggot's who still hunt friendly invaders.
Bell cunts are the only degenerates, and joining the Blood Brotherhood to get red eye orbs to invade and protect the host from the scum is the only true way to protect, yet you'll get faggots like you who attack anyone and it feels good to get rewarded for stomping a cunt host
>>285641018 less of a copypaste of builds so much as learning playstyles That guy whos the knight with the greatshield, that mage wih the dex stats, that faggot rapier user, the man who duel wields ultra greatswords. Or maybe that asshole mage using tracking magic.
You need to learn all these weapons and their hitboxes, and their movesets. Fightin players is a huge deal different from ai as well, cerain habit people tend to have, such as panic rolls and changing playstyle at different health levels are you really a fan of he game if you dont own a legit copy? you're missin out on so much, like being able to co op and shit.
>>285642018 I always have a terrible time going back to prequels after having played the sequel. I've pretty much done everything with the first game that I want to do, anyway. DaS2 is flawed but I'm still enjoying it.
>>285643241 >Invade a guy as a blue in TotG >Hang out behind the Pinwheels >Wait >Nothing happens >Hunt down host >He's at the bonfire near the skeleton beasts >Clearly AFK >WOG him off the edge >10 minutes later >He invades me like three times out of rage >Finally manages to kill me when I was getting ganked by Skeleton Babies and Pinwheels >He taunts like a motherfucker Delicious mad.
>>285643241 So indictments automatically equals hatemail for for you guys? I indict every invader who manages to kill me no matter how they play. I've been a Darkmoon, I know how much of a borefest the convenant is when there's nothing to invade. I like to keep a brother busy now
>>285621874 Helping them. PVP is shit and full of terrible people who take it too seriously. Mind you, I just prefer appreciating that scenery and immersing myself. And it's nice to help out somebody, considering not everyone has the capabilities to finish this game. Maybe that guy you helped is a kid or has disability of some sort. You've made his day by helping him with that boss or just showing that you give a shit as a human being. Which seems to be a fundamental message in Dark Souls, humanity.
>>285647385 Because PvP in these games is shit. It's only fun early game because nobody knows what the hell they're doing. As soon as you hit the higher levels everything immediatley breaks because the games aren't balanced.
DaS2 is kind of an exception where there were balance patches, but since the developers were retarded they just broke everything into clear FotMs. CMW MLGS, then dual mundane Avelyns, then mundane Santier's Spear, then MonScim, then spears, then straight swords, then whatever. All the while katanas with their broken netcode phantom hitting you from meters away got buffed every patch.
in DKS 1 i loved to just sit in undead burg and browse /v/ until i got invaded. but once DKS 2 came out and the soapstones came in a actual reasonable time i would help people beat bosses and clear levels
the main reason i put down my white stone was to gain humanity and preview the boss and its attack patterns before i fought it
>finally get around to playing DS after buying it on sale months ago >played Demons souls a little but didnt get far since I ended up selling my ps3 >having fun with Dark souls and feeling pretty immersed in my game >get to the bridge where the dragon sits at the other end >haven't really followed DaS threads or anything so knowledge of the game is really limited >trying to figure out the best way to get across >YOU HAVE BEEN INVADED >shitfuckwhatnotready slash at him once and do hardly any damage >run away and hide >watch him running around gesturing and stuff till he finds me >just runs in circles >finally attack him again with firebombs and then some normal attacks, actually doing damage >he backs up and I realize he's dropped items >stop attacking and do a bow or something similar >he drops more items >nothing too fancy, but a better helm and some small consumable things >cheers or waves or something >bow back to him >he runs up and backstabs me before shrugging just as the screen fades out
>>285646285 >not near a possible fogwall >no visual cues >suddenly hear the sound of someone being summoned ten seconds before the "You've been invaded" message pops up >shit pants I seriously hate that fucking sound so much.
