This fucking gameeeeeeeeee
Have you played the new Yume Nikki yet?
>Game has creepy as fuck atmosphere
>That goddamn mechanical boss that screech like two dying seal wrapped in Metal sheets grinding together
Not sure if this will embed and start at the right time, but here we go
3-1 memory is where shit starts to hit the fan. Game is legit creepy from there on.
The game has one hell of a plot and execution of it. The low reviews it got from siliconera and pushsquare were uncalled for and is pretty much slander. Game is hard but not unfair
Didn't looked at any reviews before buying, It was $15 so I said why not, I'm pretty used to dying now, goddamn saw blades..
Do you like Yume Nikki? then you'll love this. $15 isn't a bad price either
Haha same here, I was in bed under my blanket when the first one went off, I was like "Oh jeesus god you had to had that volume turned up"
Who got the Limited Edition? I do like how the box has a rubbery feel instead of smooth like the past LE boxes were.
Mostly atmosphere and music, as for game play you don't control the girl, you control the firefly and tell her what to do, but she's slow as heck. Since controlling her is more difficult you feel more helpless when being chase by monsters
Atmospheric as fuck, no dialogue storytelling, 16 bit memory flashbacks that become progressively surreal. Difference is this has puzzle platforming elements and plays like Limbo+Ghost Trick
The reviewers just suck anon, the common complaint was the game has forced touch screen controls but they didnt know it has an analog control scheme, and random unavoidable attacks when in fact the attacks and hazards are telegraphed and you have 2 to 3 second reaction time for it. Worse is theyre just bashing it for being too hard when the game has autosave on checkpts and infinite lives.
the only valid complaint is how short the gane is as you can finish it in a day and no postgame content. I think its justifiable though since the game is 15 dollars only
Gameplay wise no, Atmosphere wise, less creepy and foreboding but still pretty damn good, I'm just 3 chapters in so can't say much yet.
If I could go back and buy this instead I would
The electric maze? The first part is challenging, you need to rush to the other side to fire the turret and save miin from getting fried. The second part with the spiral is easier though
Yep its already localized
It's in the store,of course it's freaking translated
>mfw they have indicator of whether you collected a memory in a stage or not
Yesssss I'm gonna have fun finding these
No, not the maze. Those sequences with ventilators and saws where you have to maneuver Mion with inverted controls.
They do? Apparently I missed a memory in stage 1 because have not seen indicators so far.
Yup got mine. I could definitely see this game's soundtrack going with a creepy haunted house though.
Less bizzare than Yume Nikki, but still makes you feel unsettled to be in the game
No just the memories segment for a couple seconds which have you just find something in the room to interact with or deliver something to somebody
There was an indie game where a girl wakes up in a nightmare and has to hide in her room from a monster. With every passing night room was getting worse, and you have to change something in a room before going to sleep to survive.
That was quite yume nikkish, too bad I forgot the name, and it wasn't really finished.
That sounds pretty fucking cool
I've heard around 10 hours, also depends on how good you are at puzzles and dodging death, because you'll die a lot.
1st thing to watch out for
"Death by falling debris"
I forgot PS TV was a thing, it would probably upscale nicely since the graphics are sharp/high rez 2d art
>using /v/ buzzwords
Jesus christ I didnt expect them to be this bad at games
>tfw I just got the memory on the conveyor belt next to the big gears
The fuck is this blood and music, what crashed through my window
Buy first judge later for these kind of games
Hell yeah, the trailer totally hooked me so I preordered as soon as I could.
