>muh cinematic experience
>looks like it was filmed with a REAL camera
I wish a developer would make a real cinematic game with filters and shit to appear like a 80s or 90s tv show. Noticable 60 fps fast movements and a touch of film grain, like Blackadder or something like that.
Except it really doesn't.
As much as I like subsurface scattering it's like AO, in that if it's not properly implemented it looks like shit.
This looks like shit.
Did that one simpsons episode with george lucas jump into anyone else's mind?
"No, this is our greatest movie ever, now that we've perfected digital eyelash rendering!"
between both of these bull shots the only thing I can see different is the resolution of her hair

Bayonetta and Tropical Freeze are the pinnacle of gameplay mechanics! Hell even the cutscenes in Bayonetta are a billion times more entertaining than in tlou.
The Wii U is the best console around for real gamers since the Dreamcast. FACT!
I highly disagree.
Imagine if you pick a random game with a reallllly bad gameplay, such as Tetris. Now imagine if people build up super high tech realistic graphics, change art style and add those sweet filters.
Not more of a bad game anymore, isn't? And people would actually like Tetris.
Sweet graphics can turn shit into something amazing, just like my example.
And dig dug. Don't forget dig dug! That game is still great to play.
Just goes to show that gameplay trumps all when it comes to gaming. Shit like TLoU will be forgotten in a couple of years.
Those are prerendered cutscene shots. You have to actually compare gameplay shots (let alone actually play the game) to get a decent comparison between the two. I own both versions (Remastered was free) and the difference between the two is vast. The graphics are sharp and the controls are super-responsive. It's a stark upgrade.
Though I have a feeling this is a troll thread.
Shitty troll thread. Nothing new
