ITT your most hated game of 2014
>chainsaw=single use item
>enemies are bullet sponges
>game lacks any challenge
>is scary for about 0:00.005
>just overall terrible
It's not THAT bad.
My worst of 2014 has to be Wolfenstein The New Order because it looked at 20 years of shooter innovations and decided to say fuck you we're making a dated 90's shooter with mid tier graphics and fuck you give us your money.
Seriously, fucking no regen health, no multiplayer, and no co-op. It's 2014 you fuckwits nobody plays shooters for the story anymore.
Are you fucking serious right now?? Do you hate fun? That's one of the best shooters of the last 20 years. It went back to the roots of shooters because now almost every shooter is a CoD clone with a heavy multiplayer focus.
>actually complains about no health regen
Are you fucking kidding me?
Sorry it's not 1999 anymore. Health regen helps pace the game better so you don't get halfway through a mission and get blasted by some faggot and have to restart half the level. And for real, what's up with the red key blue key shit it makes you do? The level design is confusing and it makes you search around for shit too much.
>Health regen helps pace the game better so you don't get halfway through a mission and get blasted by some faggot and have to restart half the level
Are you rusing or do you genuinely believe this?
They include baby-tier difficulty for people like you already if you're being serious.
Shooters today are the best they have ever been, why would we go back to the health pack system? All it does is slow shit down and makes things nearly impossible when shit starts hitting the fan.
Huh, that was my GOTY 2014, but whatever.
I guess this. I bought it in 2014 so it counts.
Source was fun, this however is beyond irritating. I guess I'll wait until it gets modded to hell and back like CSS.
>My worst of 2014 has to be Wolfenstein The New Order

Protip: Even on anonymous imageboards, try-hards will bitch at you for being a casual.
I personally love how much easier games are now, but I would never openly admit it around other gamers.
>I personally love how much easier games are now
I consider myself pretty good at games because I have beaten every CoD and Battlefield on the hardest difficulties but the new order was too hard. It did shit that was simply there to force you to die. The robots were OP as fuck and guns were all weak as fuck. I struggled to get through it on the medium difficulty because of the stupid fucking health pack system.
Wolfenstein TNO had problems, like the megatextures, hub missions, and terrible plot, but complaining about no regenerating health or forced MP is just... you're fucking with me, aren't you?
On all "difficulties" in COD and Battlefield you are still fucking invincible as long as you hide to get ur health back often enough. Thats all that difficulty is in any game with regenerative health, by selecting a higher difficulty u are just choosing to spend a longer amount of time hiding behind cover.
I enjoyed it. I like that kind of setting anyway, but I was bothered that they sold the game as a game where you would have the option of not killing things, but then they literally put you in areas where you need to kill everyone
Past the first two missions, you can't lure things into traps, it gets extremely linear. All of the stuff leading up to release had me believe it might be like RE4, with a persistant world, but it turned out to be a linear TPS
CoD and battlefield sell so well every year for a reason anon. They have the formula down to a science with good pacing and level design PLUS they have multiplayer which is a fucking requirement these days. No multiplayer no sale.
I don't know if it's a particularly big issue with a game like The Evil Within, but it was fucking awful in Dragon's Dogma. Letterboxing and low fps ruined that game for me, I'm mad jel of everyone on /v/ who had fun with it.
>ps2 tier graphics
>shitty driving mechanics
>story ends abruptly leading nowhere
>Talking about how I want to play Evil Within with a friend
>"DON'T PLAY IT MAN. IT HAS GOOD VISUALS BUT THE FRAMERATE AND GAMEPLAY IS GARBAGE"
>Ask him if he played it
>"No, I watched the Two Best Friends let's play"
I opened three CS GO cases (first time) and got a shit knife that sold for like $85, the first thing I did was buy the Watch Dogs Deluxe Edition.
I'll let that sink in.
Will the shame ever abandon me?
>ps2 tier graphics
Yeah the game is terrible but it does looks amazing max out 60fps just like every other ubi game. Watch dogs has the best water graphics nigga what are talking about.
alright I have to ask
why does everyone hate cs:go? I played it a few times and I'm not a fan but everyone that played source hates GO.
I bought this fucking game day 1. I was actually having a fun time playing it. I was like "wow stealth and survival horror? damn this is like a dream come true my two favourite genres come together.
and then my gpu caught fire and i can't play ANY fucking next gen games for another month or so until I graduate and go to work full time. even then it'll be a while until I get the time and money together to replace my gpu and start playing again.
In the meantime I have to listen you fuckheads shit on this game trying to bring down my hype to finally play it one day.
TEW was the first AAA game I bothered to get release week since Skyward Sword.
I liked it. Flawed as it is, I still beat it twice and will probably pick up the DLC whenever I feel arsed enough to do so.
