Am I the only one that LIKES buying old games for cheap on the Virtual Console? Why do you guys hate it so much? It's not like they're charging 80's MSRP for them. I think it's nice.
I would if they weren't 90% shitty Game Boy shovelware nobody cares about.
Still bothered GBA games were never properly put on the eShop. It's not like they can't do it either; they basically whipped up 10 of them for the ambassadors for free.
I'd buy a lot more if they offered better games, and at better prices. $5 or 8 for such an old game that I can emulate on my phone just feels like a rip. Charge a buck per game or something and I'd be tempted to buy ten.
this. its fucking RETARDED that GBA games are available on Wii U and not 3DS. Its like they fucked up and just didnt even bother to correct it. playing GBA games on a TV screen looks like shit smears
>Mfw this is the Nintendrone audience
Kek whatever floats your boat I'll enjoy them all for free in HD with any controller or device
>Buy VC games on the 3DS
>have to rebuy them on the Wii U instead of it being available on all platforms
defend this shit
People still buy the godfather movies for $20 each, what's the difference? Old games are actually cheaper
Wanted things are never free, unwanted things can sometimes be free. Why would Nintendo give Donkey Kong, Super Mario, Kirby, Zelda, etc for free when they are classic games a lot of people want.
I like the Virtual Console, conceptually, but I also pay to see movies so maybe I am some sort of crazy person.
The prices are too high, though. I even think $1-2 off the prices would make it all much more reasonable. Additionally, the selection of games is pretty pathetic; I understand wanting to have weekly releases, but its just not the way digital markets work. Nintendo should perhaps do weekly sales? Even just a dollar off. Like, come on. Finally, not having cross-buy is just terrible- there is no reason I can't play Earthbound on my 3DS.
As I said, conceptually nice, in practice it comes up a bit short in too many key categories to make me a dedicated customer. Most of my VC titles are from Club Nintendo and I like them, though.
>DS games came to VC
>Wii U only
