Not even a distant land We're stuck on a whole different planet No peace lookin' at the sky Trouble's always all around So we stay quick with the guns and cannons Standin' as long as we can Until we get all dolls up Then call all bets off and blow the guitar Dealing with lives messed up
All I'm seeing is dark matter If it really matters In the wild in the lives shatter Seeing ghosts scatter As they pour out We can handle them There's a car taking over They came unexpected Hard to accept it Getting marked for death Seeing friends snatch their darkly possessed The car inside Still in the body in breath 'til only a shell is left Witness the heaven of bless Up right to the death Screamin' "where's the relief!?" Baby, no more sleep All swallowed in grief Images start to start my release I hear voices but no one talkin' to me
Inside I'm marching away my peaceful days Anyway anyhow in the silhouette of the sea If you're losing your way you need some protection Right I'll get you wherever you go
>>286775705 Like I said in the other thread, it uses a modified ATB system and the second disk got fucked over due to budget cuts. No only that, I would recommend just emulating the PS1 version of the game using the uncut version. >>286775514 Spiritual successor, like Xenogears and Xenosaga were to each other.
>>286775959 Thanks dude! What's the difference between the PSN version and the uncut version? and the gameplay doesn't really matter to me I can adapt easily to those. I went from P3/P4 to Xenoblade with ease so it wouldn't be that big of an issue
https://youtu.be/c4ai7lJyXkM I cannot wait for the real version. That theme is the shit.
>>286775861 >>tatsu calls himself heropon, calls humans homhoms, refers to an old legendary heropon, and then says he wants to slay a god (riki slayed a god) I'm pretty sure all of those are Tatsu refering to Xenoblade Chronicles.
Either the world that Shulk created is the Earth that gets destroyed in the beginning of XCX or due to Shulk remaking the universe without gods his world isn't our Earth and due to remaking the universe Earth just pop'd up somewhere else and gets destroyed leading to the characters in XCX crashing on Shulk's world
>>286776443 It was very spotty is various areas. This is 98 game translations we are talking about. Funny thing, the translation team were fucking butthurt about the boss and other aspects of the game so they massively edited it.
>>286776575 Yeah that's what I was trying to get at but didn't word it properly. I'm assuming that since a computer remade the universe that it wouldn't have too much creativity and probably ended up making Earth again.
A question though about Xenoblade, is Alvis the true god in it? And would that mean that all of Xenoblade takes place within a computer?
>>286776825 >How cool would that be? Not very. I want them to be done with Xenoblade Chronicles and focus on X. I love the little references and callbacks like the monado hairclips and Tatsus backstory but don't let it affect the actual game. If I want Bionis and Mechonis action I'll play Xenoblades again.
>>286776902 Depends on how much you actually do with your handheld. Otherwise emulate it, it'll probably be better.
>>286777108 To be fair I doubt they're done. A lot of the landmasses and shit in X is too similar to XB to be a coincidence. The Nopon return and Tatsu's story hints that the happenings of Xenoblade took place in this timeline.
That being said though, Xenoblade would have taken place like 13 billion years ago when the universe was created.
Either Mira is future mechonis-bionis planet, or the Nopon have into space and went to Mira.
>>286777395 >A lot of the landmasses and shit in X is too similar to XB to be a coincidence I'd like to see comparison screenshots or something because I haven't seen shit so far. They might also just reuse assets for cheaper developement because that's a thing in the industry.
But I'm straight up refusing to read too much into the backstories because they are just that, snippets to keep you above water
>>286777558 There's one picture with what looks like Mechonis' shoulder thing but it could be a part of the ship that crashes. There's also a lot of landmasses that look like their straight from Bionis
>>286777801 >>286777892 Are you shitting me? They look nothing alike. Match a single fucking thing from the mechonis to that structure. It doesn't have the gear shape or the complex inner shape. The only thing thet have in common is their both circles. Stop grasping at straws.
>>286779209 It really really doesn't. The mechonis's shoulder isn't nearly that intricate no matter how you look at it. And the structure doesn't have the pronounced gear shape.
I'd actually be kind of disappointed if they brought back the mechonis and the bionis. That story ended perfectly and there's no more need to stir up shit in that timeline. Just let this be a new game with it's new hype shit.
>>286777752 And don't forget wing-like ears. What if Shulk ditched Fiora after Xenoblade's ending because she wasn't mechanical enough for him anymore and Melia still had the advantage of having built-in handlebars on her head?
>>286780121 If Riki slayed the god with friends and the world was reborn how would that actually be passed down to legend?
If Mira is the planet made when Shulk rebooted the world, why is the landscape completely different? Why are no familiar native creatures around? Where are the mechon, when it was determined that cohabitation was the ideal scenario? Who was the heropon before Riki that had that word invented? Where is Mechonis' arm? Where are the fucking mechon? Where is Bionis' corpse? Where is the Monado?
Riki is native to Shulk's world, which was not called Mira. It shares no geological similarities with Mira. The Nopon of X are native to Mira. They have an entire history of being eaten by shit. Tatsu is already a heropon for not getting eaten by the Vyers.
>>286780828 >he still has his memories from the previous Xenoblade and before >Alvis rebirthed him in the new universe anyways >his goal is to fuck around with the mechonis structures in the desert or some shit
>>286780685 They definitely do. At least in the way of color and choosing your parts... though you might just buy entire Doll frames and swap out weapons and devices.
So far, the things that are confirmed is color scheme, shoulder weapons (left/right), and arm weapons (left/right). Some scenes and screenshots suggest three weapons per side, but I dunno.
We've also seen the same Doll with different max HP and Fuel, so something's going on there.
And if you look at the new screenshots, there are two different Doll frame types with that arm that has a wide forearm and four circles on it, so we might see the same customization we get on the humans - arm, arm, legs, chest, head. Maybe.
But there is definitely some degree of customization, we just don't know what that is until next month.
I wouldn't want this game's plot to be a direct sequel to Xenoblade but it looks like they're hinting it takes place in the same universe.
I'm okay with little nods and shit that accepts there's some sort of continuity between the games, that would make the backstory all that more interesting, but overall the plot should deal with entirely different themes
the game can hint at riki being tatsu's ancient heropon legend, the game can show human Zanza on the Moby Dick, fuck it can maybe even hint at the ruins of the Mechonis for side-plots and background lore.
I'd just like to see the main plot take place in an entirely different direction.
Shulk knew he bit off more than he could chew. Thinking nothing of Melia's invitation to her old living quarters in the abandoned High Entia city, he assumed she just wanted help moving some of her old things back to Colony 9.
Instead, as he walked into her bed chambers he heard a familiar shout,"STARLIGHT KICK!" He fell unconscious truly seeing stars.
As he awoke he felt a bit of a draft while laying on a large mattress. His vision cleared and he made out the figure of a young lady, "I-I'm seeing something, Melia?" he gulped nervously. Before he knew what was happening Melia pounced on him like Riki's children on their meals. "Aha! A weak spot!" She shouts. Melia lovingly strokes Shulk's weakness and Topples him into a Daze. "You have much to learn of the fairer sex, Shulk," Melia says flirtatiously as she teases him more. "I'm... sorry..." is the only thing he could muster in a Daze.
Melia's service of revenge continues. Her eyes of lust could no longer stop at a simple teasing. "I see your strength is the genuine article, but witness my true power!" She greedily takes Shulk inside her and remarks, "Hm...A rather advantageous position!" as she sits atop him.
Soon enough, the two of them are at their limit, but Melia makes sure they finish together. As they reach the point of no return Melia says "Your fighting spirit is mine!" While in his Toppled state for 3 hours, Shulk was about to reflect a bit and firmly stated back, "We can definitely do this!"
The two finish simultaneously Melia passionately screams, "I feel the Ether flowing through me, BURST END!" And in Shulk's final moments he could muster out,"This isn't going well... I'M REALLY FEELING IT!"
What terrible luck they were in. After chasing Mechon away from a refugee camp, Shulk and Sharla found themselves trapped in an old Ether mine. They're overzealous fighting led them to fall into there on top of having the entrance cave in as a result.
"OW! That's scorching hot!"Sharla attempted to vent her rifle when she realize the hot air was trapped in the cave, too. After a couple hours of sitting in a sauna, Sharla needed something to do, to get her mind off thefrustration, then looking at Shulk, she said, "I really could do with a shower right now..." deliberately stretching and stripping off her vest, gloves, and boots.Although Shulk was an intellectual, his male instincts were as receptive as ever to Sharla's body. Looking down at himself, he muttered, "This is the Monado's power..."
Seizing her chance,Sharla pursued to take that shower. "Head Shaker"she shouted as she locked Shulk's head between her heaving, sweaty breasts she caressed and stroked hair lovingly. As a result, his other head was becoming fully erect and Sharla targeted it as well. "All right, let's sort this out nice and quickly." She gasped as she licked her lips. Shocked at the turn of events, Shulk, still being muffled in Sharla's knockers could only reply, "Monado! Show me theway!"
Sharla laughed and continued to reward her new innocent hero. She felt Shulk's Ether rising. "Heal Blast! Clear!" She finally said, as she relieved Shulk's Tension Meter. "Sharpshooter Sharla!" Shulk said with discontent, but the Chain Attack hadn't even begun.
"START THE CHAIN ATTACK!" Sharla replied on cue. "GIVE ME SOME SPACE!" She attackedShulk's weak point with even greater fury.
"Rip through the air!"
After a x50 combo, Shulk's Ether was everywhere. "Gotta cool off..." Sharla said triumphantly. Being able to take that shower was great. Looking at the downed and knocked out Shulk, she looks up in the sky and says, "Gadolt, I did it."
"ELECTRIC GUTBUSTER!" Shulk could feel Dunban's member pierce his excretory cavity. Surely it was hitting his gut. How could a Hom have such length and girth? Even Reyn was only a little less than 11 CM.
Shulk had no idea what was happening. One moment Dunban and he were eating breakfast, and in the next, Dunban had strew him across the table on his stomach. "There is no escape, Shulk. Follow my lead." With the position he was in, Shulk could only follow, but he was ready, "Yeah, Dunban. Nothing's gonna stop me!" With that, Dunban started his furious onslaught.
"Serene Heart!" Dunban's hand flowed calmly across Shulk's body. Both of them were instilled with a peace of mind.
"Heat Haze!" Things started to pick up, Dunban started to attract more aggro acting more recklessly.
"Final Flicker.... DEMON SLAYER!!!" Dunban thought he was almost there, but in his carelessness, he forgot Shulk could counter with "Shadow Eye" and Shulk vanishes right before Dunban's eyes.
"Monado Enchant! BLACKSLASH!!" Looks like it was Shulk's victory now. The tables had turn in his favor. "Just what I needed! Almost there!"
Vanea looks away embarrassed from the monitor. "Is Fiora really dreaming this?" She was in Linada's lab. As the Machina reversion process was being used on Fiora, she slept in a chamber that was replacing her machine parts with flesh and bone, slowly but surely. The "dream machine" was used to monitor Fiora to make sure her brain wouldn't go into shock from the process, but it seemed she was keeping herself occupied.
Linada found it amusing to a point, brushing it off as the girl's wildest fantasies, but it was a little more personal to Vanea. Dunban peaked her interest, she was almost swooned by his mannerisms and the way he carried himself. And seeing his body in full graphic detail in his sister's dream, caused those feelings to resonate stronger.
>>286794979 I see you just stumbled into the thread without really knowing anything about how the game works. Feel free to watch this direct on how the battle system works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kh5V73XpwY
After that you can read more about the game in this document. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1C6LVjUy4ZJ7d17TWK2kwsDxawQTnFWnEV8ApkwWP8tI/pub#id.gzuhheengo7q
>>286796376 I pretty much expected this when I knew Sawano was gonna provide the OST. It's hilarious how people are surprised that the battle theme turned out like this when it's pretty much in line with what he normally does. I can dig it.
>>286796234 Going Forcer no matter what. Gonna use funnels and lightsabers. Or maybe I'll just subclass and use a sniper rifle with a lightsaber. It all depends, but I'm using a photon saber no matter what. I will be the galaxy knight.
>>286797475 This must be another FF7 syndrome where they completely ignore it's predecessors then go apeshit once a sequel comes out that goes back to being more like the earlier parts of the series. Then there's people that are completely new to the series and are having the same reactions people had when they first saw Xenosaga and before they actually got to try out Chronicles combat.
>>286797840 Of course not, default Cross and femCross are lame. I've scouted out some potential faces to go with but I won't settle for the finer details until I can actually play the game or see the full character creator.
I like the music in general and feel it suits the setting/style of the game. I just don't think lyrics in the regular battle theme are a good idea in a game where the mechanics are responding to soul voice of your team mates. It could be confusing.
>>286800754 You didn't watch the battle stream? Also, what if I choose the jap dub instead? How would that be? I honestly think it's a good idea, especially if you have to mute your TV for whatever reason or if you're deaf or whatever
>>286801293 You've completely ignored two reasonable arguments for why the vocals won't be much of an issue. The first one being that the music won't drown out the actual dialogue which anyone who've played Persona 3, 4 or Q should know, or watched the directs where the theme plays during combat. And if it does then you can adjust it in the options menu. The second one is that you can also see text at their portrait calling out to you if you would happen to miss it. What's the point of posting something that can be discussed if you're just going to dimiss his posts then call him a weeb.
>>286801919 You are the one ignoring the obvious, that the game design is responding to sound with your ears, not with your eyes. I'll be turning the text off, and I better be able to. Just like in Dragon Dogma. It defeats the purpose. >but deaf people I don't care about them. Games are not designed with them as the target audience. >but I want jap voices They are for japanese people to respond to with their ears. Not your weeb eyes.
>>286802212 Actually considering the arts that can follow up a soul voice flash when a soul voice is announced, I would argue that it's designed for the player to use both eyes and ears. Also if you look at the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNOVjqlwBRs you'll notice that the average character voice is significantly louder than the music.
>>286803338 You do know that even though you're calling me names, the text window will still show up, right? You can call it retarded as much as you want, it's still convenient and i'm glad they did it.
>>286803121 >Cross loses a quarter of his HP when his Doll loses an arm >You can seamlessly exit a Doll in the middle of an Art or auto attack >You can strafe while auto attacking in your Doll >You can change altitude while attacking >Every party member gets their own Doll This is really fucking COOL
>>286803796 >>You can seamlessly exit a Doll in the middle of an Art or auto attack >Air battle >Almost dead >Enemy's about to attack and kill you >Use your strongest recasted missile spam art and instantly exit your Doll >It hits the enemy and it dies, but the Doll blows up because the enemy hit it as well >You see this as you're falling down
>>286774604 They don't care, they will bitch and moan about anything at this point. I mean for christ sakes, some neofags complained about the combat would be too simple like Xenoblade, then after the combat stream came out some complained it was getting too complicated and made the UI more crowded in combat.
>>286812303 Persona games are horrible, go away idiot. I don't care how much you like poorly designed dungeons, visiting no interesting locations, no exploration, shit music, shit characters, braindead combat, etc. They are shit. Even crappy games like Neptunia and Ar Tonelico are better designed, even though they are the same stupid weeb waifu shit.
That translation on one of the not shown alien race about being exiled from Growth is very interesting. Makes me wonder what Growth and that other alien race were fighting nearby Earth for, unless it was just who got to kill humans first.
Which is ironic since I used Dunban for most of my playthrough. Admittedly, I didn't pay much attention to strategics and just went for the best defenses and offenses while beating the shit out of monsters while getting healed.
>>286813586 Well humans made dolls from alien technology and in the trailer you see dolls protecting the ships as they leave earth so either humanity found the alien technology on earth or something else.
