ITT games only you played
Fuck, OP. That was the one that was a fighting game? I think I had it on the gamecube. I actually loved that game at the time
Could never figure out how to unlock all the damn characters though
I remember seeing this on the display ps2s at toysrus or something. Played it a bit and was really fun. I actually really liked the Zatchbell manga too. Never bought it though.
I never did beat the hardest difficulty in story mode
Played them both
Rops is the best momodo. If you disagree you are probably a homo who doesn't like freedom
It's pretty good
I would really like to see a remake of the anime that follows the entire manga because it's pretty great
I know it won't happen because nobody cares about Zatch Bell anymore
Seriously. No one i've ever known has even heard of this game. it was awesome.
I've never seen or heard anyone else talk about it, hell I only remembered it today
>zeno in anime
>haha im fucking evil even though I never really explain why! I'm gonna unleash faudo just to fuck with everyone! When you get back to momodo world Ill make your life hell again muhahaha
>zeno in manga
>actually regrets what he did and wants forgiveness. Has actual explained motivations. Wants to be friends with Zatch in the end. Happy.
I've never played the PC or consoles version, but I belive they have little cartoons for dialogue, right?
Well, having actual text in dialogue was super cool. Made characters way better.
The biker, the poetry girl, your uncle - they were all great characters.
something the manga never explained was brago being a complete asshole when he first arrived on earth
when he went back he was a pretty chill dude, I wonder what his family/whatever must have thought of that
nigga, you can't catch em all. you only get one if your lucky as the whole of Ireland. besides, if you get beat up, your "pokemon" gets sent back to hell or whatever, and its game over, implying the other dude dont kill you.
yeah but that's just power of friendship stuff
the only things that still linger in my mind are the brago thing and vino. there's nothing explicit about his immense heart power and ability to fucking talk. I mean it's safe to say clear is controlling him but to what extent was that? he was scared when clear assumed his final form.
I also wonder how clear took him
Yeah, Vino was wasted character. He had no backstory whatsoever. Even Gorm's partner, Mir, had a bigger background, and that was only ONE chapter page where she was probably a call girl for some mob.
Holy shit I forgot about this game. Played it first on the GameCube and later on the Xbox after we got it because the game was just that damn good. I wish they'd have made a sequel. Thanks for reminding me of this gem, anon.
Fuck man I still enjoy playing that game every now and then. I extremely regret trading my copy of Robotech Invasion for the PS2. Now I'll never know how it ends. also WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T HARMONY GOLD ALLOW A SEQUEL WHEN THEY HAD THE CHANCE. Now its been so long that I don't think the voice actors could voice their characters anymore. The pain of enjoying a limited English dub franchise of an anime.
I played that game. It was fun as hell. The next ZatchBell game on PS2, was pretty good as well. I really liked switching between mamodo, and partner.
Was quite a mixup for a fighting game.
He may be the best mamodo, but let's not forget who was the best partner.
The Invincible Folgore!
This was my first video game that I ever bought
I had the PS2 version.
I remember playing it at a friend's house to try out multiplayer once.
We played Predator:Concrete Jungle, but I thought the controls were too convoluted to use.
Then he complained about Robotech having a difficult to use control scheme.
It was hilarious
It was like those shitty tacked-on driving levels, except a whole game full of it.
Plus Co-Op was really demanding
No matter how good of a driver/shooter you were, your partner thinks they can do better
Tons of fun, would play again
I actually bought it when I was 7
It was the first game I bought with my own money.
I piggybacked on whatever my siblings had growing up, so I only played console games when they bought them.
GBA was all mine though. Systems, games,
>implying 1 isn't one of the ugliest GBA games ever
Easily the best 2.5D fighter ever made. Yes, better than Tekken 3 imo
My memory is shit, but I believe.
Zatch ends up fighting Zeno (his evil look a like), and wins with some Super Saiyan power up bullshit. He then fights Brago in the end, and becomes king.
Zatch's last wish, is for all of the mamodos to see their partners again.
I couldn't think right until I unlocked every character
>tfw you're the only person to figure out Zach's secret move, where you rotate the control stick in a weird direction and it sends out a small ball that
doesn't really do anything
Neat I always wondered why it never seemed to end that explains it. Did Zatch get some of that pink haired girl poon? Or was that their owner's that wanted each other I dont remember
Why was Zatch bell as a whole so fucking based. I loved the fact that for most of the series Kiyo used tactics and his brain to defeat people instead of ass pulls. And the one time they get that Answer talker thing that allows Kiyo to essentially see the future it turns off when the Big bad shows up because he is simply to strong.
I also stayed for the endearing suffering, crying and pain that every character went through.
Zatch gets nothing but being king, In an epilogue chapter it shown that Zatch loses all of his friends due to him being king, and we only see that he is slowly getting them back by the end. The ride never ends for him.
I contribute to almost every single one of these threads, and yet I do not understand their purpose. If only I played it, literally like the only question you could ask is "how is it", if you even get a reply at all.
Thank you for reminding me of the name of this game, but like a couple others I played it on the xbox. But does anyone remember a training grounds tutorial level? I looked up a little gameplay and the speech, aerial battle, then surface deployment is really familiar but I couldnt find anything about training
A lot of the people went though some real shit
Dufort was like some sort of horrible experiment
I personally liked how Hyde's partner's found the book even thought it was only anime. That scene was just fucking cool.
This game was the fucking shit. Shame we didn't get the sequal here
I don't know anyone who played it, and every time I post it anywhere it never gets any sort of reaction from anyone.
It's super fucking fun though.
The anime is strictly okay. A lot of filler and QUALTIY. God tier soundtrack though.
I suggest reading the Manga to the soundtrack of the anime
I still own it today
It was like a puzzle game essentially
I swear like I'm the only one who ever played this
Played this after the PS2 titles and the first Storm game. It's so damn good, so much that it got me into more traditional fighting games. I just wish we had gotten the fourth, or at least if they could have continued the series.
At least the Storm games are pretty fun for the fan service.
Specifically this version. Played it all the time when I was a kid
And here I was thinking I was the only one who gave a shit about Zatch Bell
>manga only to 25
That's exactly what I have and all those games as well
I only have the dvd's to 4 though
A true gem, revolutionary for its time and sadly ignored
I bet you faggots already forgot, the metacritic reviews are still up, funnily enough
went back and replayed this recently and it wasn't as good as i remembered, unfortunately.
i didn't forget anon. the thread about this game was of apex level quality. crazy happenings like this are why i still come to this board.
next question, who remembers when Muk got laid at /v/ house?
I am missing 17-23 of the manga to be fair.
The Borders I lived next to closed before I could get them all and I don't like buying manga online if I can avoid it.
If I wanna complete my collection though I guess I don't have a choice.
No one else ever
>tfw I'll never find the sequel
Most of the minigames were "mash A as fast as possible nigga" but creating your own monster was tons of fun.
It's some korean platformer from 2003 or something, apparently it was based on a korean cartoon series, which I think is on YouTube. From what I know it was only released in east Asia and a few slav countries.
The game itself is actually pretty fun for a kids' title. Basically, you jump around platforms on a level, collect bonuses (speed, weapon range etc.) shoot stuff at enemies to trap them and then throw them at other enemies. It has a shitload of bosses, with a mini-boss every 3 levels and a boss at the end of each chapter. It's not a very hard game, but some parts get actually kind of challenging.
The boss rush at the end is hell
I remember enjoying it and always being anubis. Some character had some fucking crazy combo I could never counter
I played that. It gave me fever dreams/nightmares.
slipstreaming to steal boost was a neat idea, too bad there wasn't much else to the game
Oh shit, I remember my friend having this game for along time and he let me borrow it. Saying that he didn't really understand the game. Well he was right, the lack of tutorial really didn't help, espciallywhen being able to create your units. After beating it, you get your friend, the girl, to join you in new game plus with a shit load of movement.
>tfw i'll never find someone who played it
Also, from russia with love has the best 007 multiplayer, but that shit never gets any love.
40winksfag here, bit of both.
usually only ever had 5 friends at most, but beyond wrasslin and rpgs they certainly didn't have shit.
40winks has a shitty cover so i would never had bought it, got it from someone else
