What does /v/ think of pixels?
I dunno, I think it looks kinda cute. I'll probably go see it with my girlfriend.
I actually fuck with this. It seems like something that should have been done a long time ago, movie-wise. Also if it mainstreams videogames some more, good on them.
I met people that have not played games their whole lives.
>parents already starting with the "Hey anon, isn't this like your hobby as a whole movie!?"-stick
On the other hand I don't get to watch that many movies with my family anymore, so might use this shit as some family-bonding.
>There will be some people that'll use the actual meaning of marriage and not get the joke.
>There will be people who tell their friends who don't get the joke about it's meaning as they leave the movie theater.
That's kind of a cliche now. Pacifist tries to talk to the monster on it's level, it attack them anyway, the former pacifist runs away shouting "KILL THIS MOTHER FUCKER " or what ever
Can't believe no one has posted this yet.
I thought that trailer looked familiar.
You mean that scene from Prometheus?
>Oh hey look at this cute pitch black puddle worm alien, better lean in and make goo goo noises!
>OH FUCK ITS BREAKING MY ARM RRAAAAAAAAAHH ACID BLOOD
This. Wreck it Ralph had a soty. Pixels just looks like OH WOW PACMAN! OH WOW! Q*BERT! OH WOW DONKEY KONG.
I hope I'm wrong though. I remember Wreck it Ralph was advertised with all the cameos taking the spotlight and in the movie, the cameos are pushed to the side once it;s established Ralph is a video game character
At first I was like, this will probably be ok to watch once.
Then I saw Adam Sandler.
Then Paul Blart
Now I'll pass.
Never seen Prometheus but even stuff I like does this. Futurama had an episode where Leela finds a leach and and she's like "Oh it's so cute" then it starts sucking her blood and she stamps it to death. This also happens again and again for 5 minutes. That moment was Family Guy bad
