>being such a pretentious faggot that you have to say gg after every match
Feels so good to not have a superiority complex.
>someone says gg before the game is over
>beat their ass and win
>Play game of
>Player gets me to retreat
>"Lol u better run"
>Renovate his shitter from the 10 minute point on
>Says nothing for the rest of the game
>Taunt him for the last 5 minutes.
That's what you get for being mouthy, faggot.
>don't say anything
>other person gets pissed off that I didn't say "gg"
I hate the Blade Symphony community. It's like all of the players are the worst aspects of the Dark Souls community.
I have the chat window turned off because it's 20% people screeching about weapon choice or that whatever tactic they just lost to is cheap and 80% "gg" spammed constantly, but then they yell at me over mic
I never say gg,if I really liked the game I say "good game everyone, well played X and Y (if someone deserves)".
A good game for me is when both teams play good.
>I wish everyone would come down to my level so I could stop this nagging feeling that I'm a shit cunt
>b-but it's good sportsmanship!
These fags are the worst.
>its good sportsmanship
1) video games are not sports
2) unless your username is your real name no one will ever know who you are. who gives a shit if a 14 yr old is mad at someone named DongExpander69
>You don't go into a skate park and snake everyone
>you don't go to a movie theater and talk during the feature.
>tip the waitress for good service
same general idea anon, manners. "Please and thank you" shitbird.
Imagine a chess table at a park, some random people stop to play together, they don't know each other an may never meet again. Imagine one of these people sticks around a while, they refuse to shake hands, they get spiteful and make excuses every time they lose, and start jeering and taunting every time they win.
Are you that person anon?
>there is no face to face
Why does that make any difference? They are still people interacting and communicating.
If the people playing chess were all wearing masks, would that justify them all acting like sour cunts?
Not everyone shakes hands in the NBA after a game, some just walk off the court. Especially after a blowout.
I could argue that its actually a little bit rude to say "gg" when it clearly wasn't.
At the end of any game I play, whether I win or lose, and especially if it was a blowout - regardless of win or loss mind you - I say "ggclothes."
And it always makes people salty.
That happened with me today. An Ursa player was talking shit so I harrased him with my blink dagger, taunt, blademail combo and shut him down with heavens halberd before dunking his ass. Truly a satisfying game
Except it isn't, ya' big goofball. If a game was 1-sided and as a result wasn't fun for at least half of the players. Unless either the losing team says gg or the game was a close game where everybody played well, then nobody says it.
i know its bait, but some 13 year old actually think like this. the world isn't some high fiction battleground or game of throne shit where people say "muh honor for muh lord." it's just people who are just like you and looking to have some fun. You can be an asshole and spout memes 24/7 or you can act like an adult and try to have some fun. I get shittalking your friends can be fun because usually friends just joke around but why would u shittalk strangers?
what does imposing some meta-moral code on video games have to do with fun?
If I'm having fun in a match, is that automatically retracted by not saying gg at the end of it?
what are you talking about?
>I know its bait
Except its not. Morality and honor in vidya is autistic as fuck.
>feels so good to not have a superority complex
I'm hoping this is bait but if sincere realize you indeed do have a superiority complex because you believe you are superior by choosing to not act a certain way. This is what pretentious hipsters do all the time and generally why they are disliked.
This. Anyone who has been on a sports team know the losing team usually spits on their hand or grabs their sweaty balls before shaking hands for GG. Winners tend to gloat and rub it it with snide gestures and remarks as well.
No one ever means that shit.
>wreck the enemy team hard
>GG EZ game EZ life
>they lose their shit
jesus christ the irony. This has to be bait
> playing DaS
> destroy someone in pvp
> send message Git Gud
> get a wall of hate mail text a few minutes later
> he got so mad it took him minutes to type all that shit
> dont even read it
> reply Git Gud
> guy loses it sending multiple paragraph sized messages
> reply Git Gud
> repeat process
They always say they are blocking you because they've clearly won the argument and you have nothing else to say.
> tfw you have no clue what the argument you lost was even about
I wish it was as easy to troll people in other games. People fucking lost it when you tell them to git gud. The funniest is when you gank them and they go absolute madman. I would always check and 9/10 times they would quit playing DaS and go to another game.
> tfw you were laughing the whole time still playing the game while they spent 30minutes writing you paragraphs
theres talking shit and then theres being a piece of shit
you are the latter
The fuck kind of abusive friends did you have?
I'm not responding to OP here, I'm responding to the post I indicated. I'm mostly talking about being an edge lord where you have to shit talk people for no reason. I guess I don't get the mentality if the other guy doesn't know I'm just joking about it. I can't remember when I got so mad in a video game that I had to tell some random stranger that they're shit at something that doesn't really matter. It makes the community of a game pretty toxic imo
>talk shit about your team from the top of the scoreboard
>bottom shitters complain
Hi kid, welcome to 4chan. I'm sure you are pretty new here so let me give you some new employee orientation.
Us here at 4chan have a long, proud history of providing the internet only the best of laughs. We produce over 400 metric tons of bull shit every day. With over 150,000 employees, we strive to be the top of the bottom of the internet.
While sure there are plenty of competitors out there who try to out produce 4chan; the amount of bull shit we deliver out strips any would be upstarts. Our nearest neighbor in the business, rebbit, produces a mere 50 metric tons of bull shit a week.
Now, I know you are only 14 and you just got a job on your father's recommendation, but you really do need to display more skill if you want to apply for this position. /v/ is only available for 2 year employees of 4chan or outstanding assholes who really shine on other boards.
So, while we appreciate your application and your family recommendation, I'm sorry to have to say that I must decline you. The position requires a certain degree of skill and other requirements.
As I know you have copies of your resume, haha, who wouldn't? I will just throw yours into the trash right now.
Have a splendid day Anon.
>not telling your teammates good job when they are playing well
>not shit talking you adversaries during the game
>not ultimately saying good game because you all are having fun
this thread is filled with edgy fucking underage faggots
>never say anything to randoms except for match related chat, if they start trash talking or whining, immediately block them
>immediately turn down all friend requests from people I don't know in real life and block the senders
>never accept rematches
>never say gg or bg or glfh or whatever
>team is oblivious and only frag whores
>and achieves jack shit by doing so
>have to do everything and then some practically solo
>call out team being shit in global chat
>"why don't you start doing something yourself?"
>team is just snipers on the back of the map
>ask them to change their class and rush and objective with me
>"HAHAHA ANON ITS JUST A GAME"
>condescending anime post
we all know you've had the hardest social holdups of 'em all.
i have consistently use positive encouragement. its not a sure thing, this is true, but it can and often does help turn around losing games.
no one is saying you cant be an asshole but theres a time and place for it. if you want to win being an asshole isnt as effective.
>start up team game
>end up having to play solo
what's the point then
>team is just snipers or run n gunners
>no one plays objective except for me
>lose the game because no one would help me capture any objectives
>"lol anon you barely had any kills git gud"
>Playing with my bros
>we teamwork as fuck, taking objectives, clearing strategic areas of enemies, progress towards victory is clear
>one guy who is running solo, literally has less than 5 kills is calling everyone out, trying to direct teammates specifically
>he types in all caps for minutes at a time instead of playing
>keep typing "shut up :)" "you're bad" and spamming his pitiful K:D
>he eventually leaves
I love it. I love being a gigantic moralfag and treating my opponents with respect. Even if you're being nice, they'll think you're being a condescending faggot, especially if you just trashed them.
It's so easy to get people mad as a moralfag. It's amazing.
I get kills but I'm not playing strictly for them. Obviously I'm going to kill people that are in my way but I'm not going to actively seek them out. I usually wind up finishing top 3 on the team but there's always that guy that joins halfway and goes 50-4 and snags first place
Okay good. Sorry, I just see so many self-righteous players that think because they're standing in the objective, not covering and supporting their teammates, that they're somehow a bigger asset to the team than someone doing both.
Learn how to balance them both, it's a lot easier to take objectives if all the opposition is dead.
